The best restaurants in Dublin

07/09/2026: Coffee and food were good but can't say more than that. Servers were very pleasant, although asked for 2 pieces of customisation (no cheese, oat milk) but they weren't able to comply.

07/09/2026: Lovely staff, very kind and gave us some good recommendations for the city. The scones and orange juice were also super yummy!!

29/08/2026: Every time I visit, there seems to be a new manager and hardly any familiar faces. A couple of weeks ago, I met two brilliant Irish singers who had the place buzzing, great craic. Came back tonight hoping to see them again, but it felt like a different place. No security and very dull music. Not what you would expect on a Friday night. The place has great potential, but it seems to be going downhill.

26/08/2026: We walked in yesterday evening around 8:30pm, in the rain. There was no line outside, and I could see four or five empty tables inside, but we were told they could not seat us without a reservation. It's a shame, since the restaurant appeared to have capacity that night. It might be worth clarifying this policy for walk-in guests, especially on quieter evenings. On the bright side, a local we met outside kindly recommended another restaurant just around the corner, where we ended up having a wonderful evening instead.

30/08/2026: Great spot, great food, great atmosphere and great staff! It became the official place for birthday parties within our group of friends. Vegan options for pizza and a really good selection of beer -and wine- on tap. Special shoutout to Colin, who’s an absolute gentleman, and poured me one of the best pints of Guiness I had in a long time. Can’t go wrong with The Circular!

09/09/2026: I booked the upstairs venue for a baptism and can't recommend this place enough. Great service from start to finish. Dealing with Rory the manager was a pleasure who met with us in person and followed up with an email of the menu and options. The venue is amazing. On a sunny day all the doors open up to terraces facing onto harbour and feels well ventilated. The staff set the tables beforehand and allowed me to come night before to drop off cake and pictures of our baby. The food was exceptional and too much of it. Really good quality and fresh. The staff was exceptional especially the manager. We had one guest with a rare allergy and she went out of her way to help, getting the chef to rustle up something to suit her requirements. The guests all enjoyed the day out. Still talking about the food! It was just really good and stress free experience. Didn't have to worry about timing - could just enjoy the day ourselves as well. A well oiled machine - highly recommend

04/09/2026: Note that Google says they close at 12 AM on a Friday. This is not completely true. The kitchen closes at 8PM on a Friday. Was really looking forward to eating here.

03/10/2026: We’d been saying we should go to Joel’s for years almost as a joke and when we finally went it didn’t disappoint. The food gorgeous but the standout was really the service. We were served by Lucian who couldn’t have done at better job at making us feel welcome. He was so friendly and brought everything to the table quickly without feeling rushed. 10/10

23/09/2026: We were very much looking forward to the show, then so disappointed. My wife bought tickets online, but we were actually staying at the Arlington. Our seats (T-311), were beside the stage and offered only a side view of the stage never once seeing the lead female singer on the far side of the stage. The acoustics were terrible! From our seats we could barely make out and words, everything sounded like loud base vibration, a couple of people around us were plugging their ears. This was likely due to us being situated behind the speakers, but terrible sound. There was a TV screen, but you couldn’t make anything out. Sorry to say, the food was mediocre at best, and service was lacking. I will say that the entertainment (especially the dancers, the female singer and the flute player) were terrific. The place began to clear out about 45 minutes early, allowing my wife and I to sneak to a table more in front of the stage, which was considerably better. These were the same price as what we paid BTW. We were then able to better appreciate the entertainment. In short, for what we paid, we should have been able to see the whole stage, not backsides and a TV screen.

23/09/2026: I was there 10 years ago with my parents and came back last night because we had such a lovely time at first but i have to say I was a bit disappointed. The quality of the food , the atmosphere, the dancers was not the same it was 10 years ago, only 2 small piecesof lamb in the whole stew and the dancers were lifeless, for the price I was expecting more. Service was great staff was very friendly and helpful. Music was great but too much chat in between the songs.

14/08/2026: I have been coming to this restaurant for a long time. It never fails to impress me. Food absolutely delicious no matter what you try. Staff so attentive. After leaving I can’t wait to return

22/06/2026: This neighborhood restaurant in Cabinteely never fails to impress. The quality of the food surpasses that of any other Indian restaurant I have visited, and that's been quite a few! The presentation of the food is amazing, particularly the starters is akin to something you might see in a Michelin star restaurant.

05/08/2026: The Katsu Curry Udon was out of this world. If the other foods are similar then this is soon to be officially declared the best restaurant in the world.

30/07/2026: FRESH & BEST SUSHI IN DUBLIN Do no look somewhere else because everything they made is super FRESH - salmon, beef, chicken, gyozas, miso soup, bento box you name it. Everything. Also, the owners are very kind and nice, really good people. I used to live above them and I cannot tell how much I miss Okayu. Once you give it try I promise you'll become a fan. Thank you Okayu. 07/09/2026: One of my favorite pubs in Dublin. It has several terraces, one of which is heated. The food is good. Reservations are recommended as it's always very busy. The food is delicious. The wings are their specialty. The calamari is very tasty, but the portion is quite small.

16/09/2026: Had brunch to takeaway, smashed avocado & bacon on gluten free toast with salad & feta. Delicious! Very accommodating for dietary requirements & helpful staff.

02/06/2026: We had a truly lovely stay! Everything was impeccable, from the warm welcome at reception to the delicious breakfast each morning. It is difficult to highlight just one aspect when everything was outstanding, but Emerson, Giuliana, and the entire staff deserve special recognition. They were always kind, attentive, efficient, and eager to help, making our experience even more memorable. We will definitely be back and will gladly recommend this hotel to family and friends. Thank you for such wonderful hospitality!
