The best restaurants in Dublin

02/05/2026: Good portions, ok quality, ok menu. Service was a bit slow. Party of 4, 2 of the meals came out 10 minutes after first arrivals. Not fine dining but good if other options nearby are fully booked.

25/04/2026: Recommended this restaurant to my family and we went last night 24/4/26..the place was busy toilets were very poor no toilet paper ect…ordered our starter and when it came my was cold( crab cakes)I let it go,but we waited one hour for our mains the place is tiny so I dunno what the hold up was,he handed me my food and the plate was hot and he laughed he actually laughed..NEVER AGAIN..

15/05/2026: Been here a couple of times and pizza is amazing, no complains about the product you’re offering but just came in for a slice and I know customers can be annoying but it doesn’t entitle staff to be as rude as to shout at us when the place was literally empty. Ordered from a guy at the til and all good but my two friend behind, that ordered from a bearded guy behind the pizza counter, were both shouted and put in a rush for no reason, I was still paying my pizza and then this super rude staff member was screaming like crazy and seriously no other costumers queueing. After all that unnecessary drama I went outside to grab a table, while my friends were paying, and a couple of homeless came demanding their sits without even ordering and nobody was there to look after the place, felt super abused twice in less than 2 minutes. When came back in looking for my friends and a seat, staff were already shouting at us to collect the slices that of course weren’t hot enough, felt like I wasn’t allowed to even ask to warm them up or someone would shout at me again Definitely not coming back and for sure will make sure friends don’t do it considering how many new pizza places open every month in Dublin

12/05/2026: A little hole in the wall place, which isn't a problem. The pizza was ok at best though, so don't let the long lines out the door fool you, especially for a late night snack.

16/10/2025: Great chilled out little cafe in Killiney Park in a lovely setting. All of the staff were really friendly and the cakes and pastries were to die for (best almond croissant and pain au raisin we’ve ever had) Also very dog friendly and you get meet loads of lovely dogs which was good as we love them and don’t have one of our own!!

15/10/2025: Lovely coffee. Fabulous brownies and protein balls. Interesting and broad selection of teas that I've yet to explore. Great layout where tired dog owners can relax and chat. A favourite switch off with nature. Food a bit pricey. Excellent service from very friendly staff.

12/04/2026: Service was very good, staff were always at hand. Food was quick and reasonable priced.. Booking is recommended.

31/03/2026: Had a delicious lunch with friends. They do a special lunch menu that is good value & excellent quality. You can order from the al la carte menu either. I would highly recommend Picasso Restaurant.

21/06/2025: We had breakfast there last Saturday and had super food and excellent coffee. The waitress serving us was superb and really looked after us. Superb cafe

11/06/2025: I love this small cafe and used to come for years and always bring some friend/family to enjoy a quiet time, the staff are absolutely kind, the atmosphere is great as the music too, and of course a lovely coffee, a slightly sweet caramel latte/cappuccino at the perfect taste (listen your customers preferences is a key of success, I’d say you’re rocking it). The below photo is from a quite while ago, as today I was so hungry and forgot to take a pic of my sausage roll which was great + caramel cappuccino.

16/05/2026: I would give this place minus stars if I could. Would not recommend. Myself and my girlfriend were denied entry because the bouncer claimed “she’s too drunk” — despite the fact we had literally just come from dinner and were absolutely fine. To make it even more ridiculous, we came back about 20 minutes later and got in with no issue at all, which completely proves there was never a problem in the first place. Then later that evening, as we were leaving, one of the bouncers said to us “How the …. did you get in? Ye chancer.” Absolutely terrible behavior from someone whose job is meant to be maintaining safety and professionalism. Instead of targeting normal customers for no reason and acting like a bully, maybe focus on the people who are actually causing problems. Completely unnecessary attitude, arrogance, and abuse of what little authority they think they have. Won’t be returning.

11/04/2026: My stay has been nothing but amazing. Love the architecture, the room is up to my standard, and everything is very clean. Best breakfast I’ve ever had! Couldn’t stop getting my hands on the porridge!! All the services given were top shelf, especially Eileen’s extra care for patrons; making sure we’re having the best time! 21/11/2025: Recently I ordered a salad, and it was incredibly disappointing. The chicken was so hard I couldn’t even bite it, and most of the box was just onions. There were only a few tomatoes and one very little of lettuce. That’s it. And they charged €6.50 for the box. There was basically nothing to eat it was really bad.

03/11/2025: My go to whenever I'm back in Dublin. Staff are always so friendly, real Dubs a heart of the community. I'm a scaldy Corkonian and introduced people in the area I stay with to go there for our cures when I visit after living around the corner. Always meet the standards of what you want with attention to detail, great value and service.

28/10/2025: The place is really nice and the waitresses are very friendly. The service is great; the only downside is that there are hardly any vegan options, but they made a vegan meal for my friend and me.

26/10/2025: Delicious hidden gem, the banana bread French toast was so lovely, staff were lovely, thanks for being dog friendly, we were so grateful to have somewhere as nice as this to get cover from the rain and have delightful food.

04/10/2025: Hidden gem, great for a breakfast/brunch treat. Food is excellent, good menu with plenty of options, coffee is best in the area. Staff are exemplary, extremely attentive and welcoming. Would highly recommend.

02/10/2025: Second time ordering the same dish here. The breakfast salad. 1st time it was incredibly salty so said I'd try again. This time was not seasoned. The asparagus was thicker than my thumb and fibrous. Salad leaves not dressed. Eggs were very good. Children's menu is good value and child enjoyed food. Perhaps i am ordering a less popular option, however both times this was reccommend by waiting staff. After meal was delivered no follow up at all to see if the food was ok or if we needed anything. Eventually went inside to pay.
