The best restaurants in Dublin

14/04/2024: I'm not sure that the managers here know what they're doing. There are two preferring kiosks at the front door where they want people to order and pay, but then they're still taking orders at the counter as well, so you have numerous orders coming in at the same time while there only seems to be minimal staff numbers on. We ordered two coffees, nothing else, and had to wait almost 30 minutes for them to be served. I like the coffee quality in Esquires in general, but this was ridiculous.

20/03/2024: Nice place, but more staff than customers...

30/08/2024: Visited here yesterday for lunch with friends. Nice little place for brunch or lunch. Staff were extremely polite and kind. Food was so so good. A definite must visit if your in the area.

21/08/2024: The breakfast is fantastic. We had omelettes and the veggie Irish breakfast. The apple juice tastes fresh squeezed. My daughter has a sensitive pallet and she eat and drank everything. The resturant is rustic and comfy. They can sit 26 people at a time.

15/09/2024: Horrible experience with extremely rude staff. Made us all very uncomfortable- all the staff glared at us as soon as we walked in and stood and stared at us throughout our whole visit (the place was empty). Rude, overpriced and a terrible way to treat paying customers.

09/09/2024: Good value for money. Fast service. Calm atmosphere without noise. Good Products. Toilet to renovate.

28/10/2024: Nice pub. Very big with a beer garden and a lounge out the back. Pint is good quality. Service is quick but the main bar feels cold and unwelcome. Barman needs to know if he wants to work behind the bar he needs to get a sense of humour

15/05/2024: Freshly made fish and chips at this modern counter service eatery. The fish was a bit oily and the generous portioned chips weren’t crispy enough. Bonus bc they had battered fried smoked fish! Price standard for downtown Dublin. Mar 2024.

25/10/2024: Today I went to the café, but the hot chocolate didn’t taste right. I usually get a bigger cup, but today it was a small cup, like a shot of coffee, so it felt like a waste of money. I think there’s a new barista, a guy, who poured the chocolate and milk and steamed them together. They usually do it differently, so that might be why it tasted off. I was disappointed because I expected it to be better :(

08/10/2024: I visited this café on Sunday and ordered an Americano and the chorizo and egg omelet. Unfortunately, the experience wasn't as pleasant as expected. The sourdough bread was hard, and the butter was served in a messy little bowl. What concerned me most was that the staff, without wearing any hygiene gloves, took orders and then handled the bread and food directly. This café has a great reputation, especially for its tea selection, which likely explains why it's always busy. However, the staff seemed visibly tired, and service felt rushed. I was asked what I wanted to order immediately upon sitting, with no chance to settle in. The table hadn’t been cleaned quickly, and when I tried to sit down before ordering, I was told I couldn’t do so until I had placed my order—quite an impressive approach to service that day. Despite the disappointing service, the atmosphere remains cozy and unchanged since my first visit back in 2013.

11/10/2024: Simple restaurant with good food. The food was exactly what I wanted. Decent prices too.

09/10/2024: I order sichuan noodle and the bring me on the table wanton noodle for them mistake I hawe to pay 13.50 I ask to Mia for discount but was not give to me the don't hawe the sens whot is costumer aervice

14/03/2024: A place with attention to the smallest details, both for the environment and for the choice of ingredients used. It was a difficult day, I entered in tears but left with a smile. Samuele is fantastic! I recommend the focaccia!

09/03/2024: Beautiful Calabrian spicy nduja with crispy bread. Service was impeccable with a very classy atmosphere.

12/11/2024: Food was really really nice! Ramen was so delicious and the prices are great for Dublin and for the quality. Will definitely be back.

17/08/2024: Ambitionierte junge Leute, sehr freundlich. Warme Suppe (Linsen) bei diesen Temperaturen genau richtig. Sandwiches knusprig, weich mit frischen Zutaten.

15/07/2024: Stopped for some ice cream for my young children and cappuccino for myself. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The cappuccino was amazing!

24/05/2024: Nice bar. Good television for games.

09/05/2024: Didn't have food but the pint of Guinness was absolutely beautiful!!
