Super friendly and chatty girls who are laughing and joking as they kill each other (their words lol)

Definitely needs a refresh as some damage in seating and previous business name on counter
Definitely worth calling in to try it

Cada artículo se prepara con habilidad y experiencia culinaria. Nunca me decepciona cuando visito Brighton Rd como se llama ahora. Es un placer entrar con gran anticipación y salir deseando vivir más cerca y planeando nuestra próxima visita. El personal es muy amable y atento. Su menú del Año Nuevo Chino me envió a otro reino lo que sigue.

28/03/2025: I was recently in the Eagle with a friend, and while the atmosphere was quite congenital and friendly. I was seriously taken aback by the prices
I was not going to break the habit of a lifetime, and so I ordered a pint of Guinness
My friend ordered a sauvignon of the New Zeland variety
To my amazement, it cost
€11.75 for a glass.
I actually thought we were paying the cost of transport.
Get a grip, lads!!!

20/04/2025: Great pizza with a careful use of quality products like tomato sauce, cheese, chorizo, etc. As plus I can mention a very clever and necessary add in the base of the pizza box to avoid that the pizza slip inside of the box. This make a lot of sense because the product arrive in perfect condition. This is a good point when you think in all aspects of product quality and dedication for it.

22/03/2025: I stop at a lot of random coffee shops around Kildare, Meath and Dublin, as I don't like the coffee any of the big franchises serve. You would struggle to find better coffee and tastier food than at Mackeys. It's always perfect, everytime. Everything served is produced locally and is as tasty as you can get. Caroline is always chatty and pleasant and creates a clean and welcoming atmosphere.
14/03/2025: I truly recommend this place, good food, great service and is just outside the castle.

22/02/2025: The coffee is good here only thing I find odd is that they never offer sugar or stirrers. I'm sure they have them but you shouldn't have to ask.
On the menu it says fresh pastries every morning, yet I arrived before 9 am the pastery I got was stone cold and tasted off. It was at least a day or two old and I spat it out and binned it immediately. I should have returned it as it's clearly false advertising but wasn't worth the hassle. Also your forced into a giant pothole as you leave this place so don't go if you care about your car.

30/03/2025: We had a reservation at 6 30 tonight for 3 pax we are waited to the door the staff come and told us to wait because she doesn't have table for us but obviously the half room was empty my daughter wanted to use the restroom and one off the staff told us to wait in the door showing the ✋️ hand to us very rudely all staff owner included service poor quality 0 professionalism. Not happy at all I will never go back again.

16/04/2025: This is probably the best restaurant I’ve been to in a while. If you like authentic Middle Eastern food, this is the place to come. The flavours are amazing, the portions are huge, the prices are great, and the ambience is friendly, lively, and comfortable. We ordered way too much food for two people and did not regret it for one second. Literally could not stop eating. Will most definitely be back!
15/04/2025: Close to Drumcondra's train station. Hidden entrance, beautiful menu, presentations and service. Advisable to book in advance via whatsapp is very comfortable. Order the small mezza as an appetizer. The food was more beautiful than of good quality though. Hygiene was questionable. Tables were sticky, seats had crumbles on arrival, we found hairs in our food on two different occasions. The pita and the shrimps should have been served with extra plates and 🍴 as proved to be quite messy plates. A place with potential but that needs attention.
