11/06/2025: Originally we planned to return to an Airbnb that we had stayed at a couple of weeks earlier, in the same area. However we liked the look of the hotel and spoke with Svetlana who gave the same rate as if we had used booking.com. it was €70/night cheaper than the Airbnb. All the staff we met were very helpful and professional, especially Svetlana. The lounger area with free coffee and pastries is a nice touch.

13/05/2025: Great atmosphere, lovely people! Food was great every time i visited in the past 2 years. I mostly go for the carvery, especially the lamb shank and the beef! Match it with a pint of Hophouse and everything is just great! The cooking team deserves a raise, especially for the two dishes I mentioned above! Location is also great, a walk after food in the botanical gardens is amazing!

10/06/2025: Local pub for locals. Little atmosphere (music, lighting, decor) and it smells less fresh. Only had one drink here and then quickly moved on.

03/01/2025: Deadly spot for a cocktail and some snacks. The kimchi, pork, lettuce snack was a game changer 11/24: revisited and got the burger, steak and a starter of tuna tostada. Meal was great but not sure the seating or lighting is really catering for eaters. Enjoyed it all the same

18/05/2025: We had the chatty fox cater for our son’s communion party today. Everything was absolutely fabulous, the sandwiches were amazing, plenty of hot food per platter more than enough, plates forks knives napkins all provided. Thank you Valerie we had such a great day.

01/05/2025: El servicio era impresionante y también lo era el ambiente y la comida. Tan pronto como entramos, fuimos recibidos por Julio, que nos mostró a una mesa y estaba enseguida repasando todas nuestras opciones para la cena y las bebidas. Martha era nuestro servidor, sin embargo Julio continuó esperándonos y comprobar con nosotros en todo. Martha y él juntos eran un equipo increíble. Julio era increíble en recomendar de todo, desde aperitivos a bebidas a cervezas a platos principales e incluso postre. Le dije a su gerente que de postre quería a Julio en un plato con chocolate y crema batida, y Martha podía servirlo y no necesitaba una cuchara. Yum Yum. Era tan dulce lindo y sexy que solo mantuvo el resto de la experiencia en el restaurante van de maravilla. Tenía pescado con patatas fritas y eran las mejores que había tenido en cualquier lugar. No suelo pedir eso porque no soy un gran fanático de las patatas fritas, sin embargo, esto reiteró el hecho de que me encanta. Tuvimos el postre de fresa y una copa de noche antes de salir. Lo antiguo... pasado de moda era delicioso. Quiero agradecer a Julio y Martha por hacer nuestra velada tan espectacular que no podría estar más impresionado con su servicio, su amistad, son personalidades ingeniosas y su servicio encantador. Definitivamente volveré la próxima vez que esté aquí. Este lugar definitivamente ha ganado mi visita repetida. Bien hecho Julio y Martha.

07/05/2025: Comimos aquí en nuestra primera noche en Dublín por recomendación de varios amigos. Este es un excelente restaurante: casual, amable y con altos estándares. Teníamos la ballena (algo que nunca había visto en los Estados Unidos), croquetas de eglefino ahumado, y fish & chips con solla y eglefino. Y las gildas como bocadillos. Todo era excelente y nos gustaría poder volver, pero conseguir espacio en el mostrador aquí requiere algo de planificación.

30/03/2025: Pequeño lugar divertido fuera de los caminos trillados. Fácil de caminar, no lejos de Liffey. Asegúrese de hacer una reserva. Excelente comida y vino. Mucho vino para elegir. No tengas miedo de pedirle al chef que elija por ti. Chef y propietario es genial! Obviamente, come pescado con papas fritas, pero no te saltes los aperitivos. Un montón de cosas buenas para elegir.
