The best restaurants in Dublin

26/04/2026: Superb dinner on Saturday night for a family get together. Warm welcome, great service, food was very good. We were a family of 6, ordered starters, then steaks, pasta, and a lemon chicken. Desserts were good too.

16/03/2026: Made a reservation for mothers day. The staff are absolutely lovely. The food was amazing. Would go back again. Highly reccommened.

13/09/2025: Nice and cozy place for weekend brunch! It is one of my favorite places, but I was a little disappointed with my visit last Sunday, Sep 7th. Sffats were too busy talking to each other. I know the cafe gets busy on weekends, but it didn't have the vibe I usually expect. Hope it gets back soon.

28/09/2025: Our party of 9 had a table booked for main course only tonight. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The menu had a great range and everyone found something interesting to order. Upstairs a live jazz band was playing which added to the atmosphere, but didn’t overwhelm the conversation at our table. When the food arrived it got a unanimous thumbs up. Throughout the meal our server Bianca regularly checked up on us to make sure all was well and that the drinks were kept topped up as required. A few of us had desserts or tea/coffee afterwards to round off our meals. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant which has been a part of Dun Laoghaire for as long as I can remember.

08/05/2026: Reviewing only the cafe. Coffee was just ok. Service was mixed. Food was ok at best. Ambience needs help. Either lost its quality or management doesn’t care enough to try a bit harder. Too bad, as it is clearly a local spot and the bakery seems to be the place to spend your money for great quality and service.

07/05/2026: The bread quality used to be great but is disgusting now. Extreme cheap quality, had to throw it all in the bin and won’t buy again. Service at the counter left a lot to be desired also and it could do with a good clean.

21/04/2026: Didnt have a great experience at all! Went in to get Bacon & Cheese fries for takeout. I told the lady my order and she told me to wait a sec. I waited for 15 minutes and nothing. I try to get her attention to remind her but she just walks past me completely ignoring me, walking towards new customers .( there was only one person when I walked in) I waited another 15 minutes just for me to see her serve the customers that walked in after me. I really think this is unfair and unprofessional coming from the staff here!!!

24/11/2025: First time we have stayed at this hotel and as first impressions go , outstanding from check in , to the rooms to the bar staff everything was outstanding, rooms of a lovely size, bed super comfortable, tea coffee making , a safe in the room, the barman sami was super friendly and chatty, which is want you what, reception friendly and welcoming, we will have no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

16/05/2026: I ate at this Chinese restaurant today, and it truly exceeded my expectations. The dishes were authentic, the portions were generous, and the flavors had that familiar, hearty, homey feel. The signature dishes, in particular, were cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of seasoning and seasoning, without being altered too much to cater to local tastes. The service was also excellent, the food came out quickly, and the environment was clean and comfortable. It's rare to find such authentic Chinese food in Ireland, and I'm already planning to bring my friends next time. Highly recommended!

29/08/2025: We did have a good time but weren’t too impressed with the food to be honest. We ordered several dishes for the table and really enjoyed the chicken in soy garlic sauce and can also recommend the corn. However, the slow cooked short rib for 37 Euro was a disappointment and definitely overpriced. We are not rushing back although staff was super friendly and we enjoyed the vibe.

29/08/2025: We came here for some dinner on Thursday night. The girl at the front was very welcoming and gave us some menus while we waited (we were early). On the drinks menu it had their cocktails and then said underneath “Classics (just ask)” so I asked for a couple of different classics and they told me I could only order what’s on the menu 🤨 so I ended up just getting a soft drink. we ordered some food which was good, the corn ribs is a cool concept and the chicken tasted really good but the constant fruit flys in your face was really off putting and my partner ended up leaving his beer as there was flys in it. The staff were nice but no one checked on us once after we got our food and when we tried to get someone’s attention to ask for napkins as our food was messy they just walked past us. It was also a pretty cold day but they had the big door open for some reason so had to sit with my jacket on the entire time. Overall the venue is very aesthetic but the food and service was mid.

31/03/2026: A lovely track with some great golf shots to be played. Tree lined and a bit of water. Super green s. Extremely warm welcome from Liam and Darragh in the pro shop and the chicken wrap was as filling as a dinner.
