24/08/2025: I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The food was of very poor quality and not worth the money at all. The staff were extremely rude — one even spoke disrespectfully to my 5-year-old child, which is unacceptable. When I asked to speak to the manager, the staff member dismissed me by saying, “I am the manager here.” I honestly don’t know if I was treated this way because of my colour or for some other reason, but the experience left me feeling disrespected and unwelcome. I would not recommend this place to anyone. First thanks for your reply Ihave a video showing the manager shouting at me and refusing to give me my food for takeaway, which I was very surprised by. I didn’t say anything to him to cause this — but even if a customer did raise their voice, staff and management should still remain professional. I did try the samosa (vegetarian) and the mixed chicken kebab, which was my son’s first order. If you check your CCTV, you can also see how the manager spoke rudely to my 5-year-old when she asked about her drink. When I asked why he was speaking like that, he denied it and said, “that’s just the way I talk and i didnt say any thing ” After that, I felt uncomfortable and asked for my food to be packed for takeaway. Instead, I was told to either eat it there or leave it, and my request was refused. Under consumer rights in Ireland, I believe that is not acceptable. @CCPC At that point, I was the only customer in the restaurant. When he continued being rude, I took out my phone and started recording. He asked if I was filming, and I said yes. His response was, “I’m still not giving you your food for takeaway.” Don't recommend it

15/07/2025: Lovely bar, lovely people. Great look to it. Staff are sound. Classy punters. Been there a few times and haven't seen one flaw. Just a place for decent people to have a drink and a laugh. The music bingo is a lot of fun.

30/09/2025: Extremely disappointed. It was amazing little place, we got rolls for so long from them. Last week I decided to grab a bite, price went up. Oh, well! The roll had barely anything in it. It was 90% bread with zero taste. I think it was my last visit.

11/09/2025: If Carlsberg did sandwich bars!!! Nice and clean establishment, friendly staff, very tasty food. I'll defo be back when I'm back in the area. Outdoor seating also.

26/10/2025: It’s my 100s time to have lunch/dinner in Pearl Liang. Maybe someone will complain that why Pearl Liang never change their menu. In another way, can you imagine that it’s amazing that they’re always same good. Always recommend.

22/10/2025: I used to love the restaurants in Chinatown, but because of the unreasonable inflation, I found that this Chinese restaurant is very good. For a traveler, it can satisfy my craving for Chinese food. I recommend it!

04/11/2025: What a flop!! Food is below average, and very expensive. "Boneless chicken wings" are actually battered chicken balls like from a Chinese Burger boring, and drowning is sauce Unlimited refills stated on their menu, but when I asked I was told no, they don't do that anymore What made it all worse was the way the waitress looked at me when I said I was ordering on the app, pure despise and then she swapped with the other waitress so she didn't have to serve us.. not sure what that was about but made us SUPER uncomfortable.

09/09/2025: This use to be a lovely pub - I remember I use to pop in for a pint and a sambo on a quiet Sunday afternoon as a hangover curer! The lady that use to serve me was so lovely and friendly, as well as the thin bald man. I remember I said to my family we should go down sometime for a sandwich with the dog as I noticed they allowed dogs on their premises. I then brought my elderly mother down with the dog and we sat down and were met by big bell-ied bald man that was horrible to us! Very rude and nasty and d poor dog even hated it! Big belly-ied boy was too lazy to serve a sambo! I went back two or three times after this and every time that big belly boy was there, you’d know you’d have a terrible experience! Pub would be better without him! Please leave lad, patrons do not like you

10/10/2024: Devastated to say after five years of just loving this place, I passed by last night and it has permanently closed. What a great crew and super neighbourhood restaurant. Gutted. It seems increasingly impossible to run a business in Dublin due to runaway costs.

18/08/2024: Estuve aquí antes y tuvimos una comida maravillosa y experiencia. Decidió ir de nuevo y ¿sabes qué? Absolutamente aún mejor! Tuve un. Plato de pasta de cangrejo y gambas que era fantástico mientras que mi esposa tenía pollo que era suculento. Los precios son muy justos y no desorbitados. Esta es una joya de un restaurante que hace todo bien con un gran servicio y excelente comida. Chef podría ganar Masterchef. Volveremos pronto. Muy, muy recomendable.
