28/09/2025: Our party of 9 had a table booked for main course only tonight. Service was quick, friendly and efficient. The menu had a great range and everyone found something interesting to order. Upstairs a live jazz band was playing which added to the atmosphere, but didn’t overwhelm the conversation at our table. When the food arrived it got a unanimous thumbs up. Throughout the meal our server Bianca regularly checked up on us to make sure all was well and that the drinks were kept topped up as required. A few of us had desserts or tea/coffee afterwards to round off our meals. I highly recommend this gem of a restaurant which has been a part of Dun Laoghaire for as long as I can remember.

04/12/2025: It’s one of my favorite places to visit. I’ve tried ordering their food before and I really liked it. After trying their waffles, I actually became a waffle lover they’re incredibly delicious♥️. It’s definitely one of the places I’ll keep coming back to. 17/01/2026: A shame to see it go down so much - I eat in - ordered the 1/4 burger & chips - chips were just ok ( small portion) and the burger was terrible 😔. They definitely water down the tomato sauce. Won't be back 😔

21/10/2025: Dropped in for lunch and grabbed a sandwich — it was honestly class, really fresh and tasty. Coffee’s always great here too. Staff are sound, and the tall girl with brown hair was especially polite and had a lovely smile. Proper nice spot, definitely one of my favourites around

16/10/2025: Always a great spot for coffee. The team are friendly and the service is quick, even when it’s busy. The girl at the counter always has a nice attitude and keeps the place running smoothly. Great coffee, good people, easy choice every morning.

18/08/2025: Amazing!!! We were here three evenings ensuite. And the best was the singer today (name??) Thanx for the Guinness. Espacially the two ladies behind the bar!! Incredible!! How fast they work and at the same time so relaxed, even singing and dancing during pressing the beer. Sorry for my horrible english- greetings from Ilka and Peter from Berlin/Germany

15/08/2025: 1 of the best places in Dublin City to enjoy not just the fantastic Creamy Guinness along with other drinks. But Carla and staff go really beyond what is expected. Local people are extremely friendly and helpful. I'd highly recommend this place as since in Dublin it's very difficult to find a better place.

17/03/2026: Me and my friends got food poisoning. Horrible. Reporting this place

17/03/2026: We all ate our only meal yesterday at this place and nowhere else. Shortly after, every one of us developed the same symptoms and ended up in the emergency room. The fish and chips were very greasy and tasted strange, but we still ate it - which turned out to be a big mistake. Our entire trip is ruined because of this as we are all seriously sick now! Someone seriously needs to look into the hygiene and kitchen conditions at this place. I strongly advise others to be careful. Poor ventilation, while place stinks of oil. Crazy

10/01/2026: We had a wonderful stay/short break. The staff is fantastic, and everything went smoothly. Great breakfast, a hotel bar, very comfortable rooms—everything was lovely :) The bus stop to the city is right across the street, and taxis stop directly in front of the hotel. We'll definitely be back :)

09/01/2026: Warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent assistance provided for choosing transportation options: bus stop in front of the hotel, which takes you to Dublin's Temple Bar area in 20 minutes. Excellent breakfasts (vegan options are also available, and food intolerances are catered for). Excellent bar and lounge service. Attentive and very helpful staff.

17/03/2026: We were really looking forward to enjoying some great Irish food on St. Patrick’s Day, and unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. We were seated quickly and placed our order for both appetizers and entrees right away. The appetizers came out promptly and were delicious, but after that, everything went downhill. We waited an extremely long time for our main meals, asking multiple times and speaking with several different staff members. Meanwhile, tables around us were seated, served, and finished their meals while we were still waiting. We were given several explanations, such as the kitchen being busy or delays due to ordering appetizers, but it became clear that our order had never been placed. After asking for help multiple times, another server finally stepped in and our food was eventually brought out. Very frustrating experience, especially on a day we were excited to celebrate.
