The best restaurants in Dublin

06/04/2025: I love the fact this hotel is real old fashioned but in good taste and not same old same old modern and boring - please keep it up - I would highly recommend, lovely and cosy and I will be back. Menu is fantastic too and good food, lovely menu :)

26/02/2025: Everything you need for a stop before entering the park. We got a chicken sandwich and it was quite filling, enough to last you several hours if you want to walk around the city!! The staff is very kind, willing to serve you!!

07/03/2025: I come here each time I'm in Blanch. It's a nice spot for some quality time with coffee and a book or a laptop. These Polish baristas are always kind and smiling. Out of all Insomnia Cafés, this one is my favourite.

20/02/2025: Only had coffee and a chocolate muffin this time. Atmosphere here is quite relaxing. Staff are helpful. Coffee and mochas good. Not expensive. Il try something savoury next time

18/03/2025: Excellent restaurant 👌🏻 Čevapi and bun were excellent. We also tried beans and peas, which taste like our grandmothers' cooking method. The staff is very friendly. We will be very happy to come back 👌🏻

25/03/2025: The food here is very very very bad. Do not recommend at all!!!!! It’s a very unpalatable restaurant for foreigners. It’s expensive, the portions are small, it’s ugly, and the seasonings are weird. Don’t come here! ! ! !

16/03/2025: I popped back into this pub after being away for a while, and wow, I’m so glad I did! They must’ve changed the chef because the food has been incredible lately. I had an amazing meal – everything was super tasty and well put together. The pub itself is still nice and cozy, and the staff are always really friendly. Definitely happy I gave it another go!

07/03/2025: Went to Knights Bar for lunch on 6th. March. To say that it was a disappointment is an understatement. I ordered the chicken rigatoni - big mistake. The dish consisted of a bowl of very dry pasta (no hint of a sauce) with a couple of lumps of chicken on top. Having tried a couple of pieces I decided that it was inedible. When the server asked if I wanted the contents boxed, I declined as I would only be bringing it home to put it in the bin. I also had the chowder to start which was quite good but served in a very shallow bowl - resulting in a minute portion being served. While the bar itself is very impressive and the waiting staff were competent this did not make up for the poor quality and value of food served. I would not be returning nor would I recommend Knights Bar to others.

22/02/2025: We were staying at Clontarf Castle for our final night and really enjoyed our time at Knights Bar. It was steadily busy and still the service was wonderful. The staff were all very friendly, and we especially appreciated Conor and Elaine. They both made our evening wonderful and offered up great recommendations. The Guinness was great and the burger was too. They even got me a scone well after the normal tea time. Glad we had some time to spend at this bar. Well done!

25/03/2025: Sunday carvery ticks all the boxes

23/03/2025: Nice bar with a carvery, outside smoking area, and a car park at the back. But car park fills up very quickly.

30/03/2025: Food is a bit bland and service is not what i would call fast. Decor is nice. Wouldn't really recommend.

23/03/2025: The staff ignored us for 20 minutes. When they decided to take our order, the young woman was rude and uninterested. The manager asked us if our coffee was OK, implying that if we were finished, then we should leave. We found the whole experience lacking in atmosphere but more that their were poorly trained and given a poor example from the management. I would recommend that you find anywhere else but here for lunch. Celbridge and Maynooth have far better places to dine where the service is far superior and the staff know how to treat patrons.

31/03/2025: Pricey, noisy. Mains were good but dessert choices are not great.

30/03/2025: The Foodball is highly pricy but the quality is above any expectations. I recommend to visit and taste their sandwiches or coffee options
