12/01/2026: VERY DISAPPOINTING dinner at Sophie’s Rooftop in Dublin. I ordered chicken parmigiana with pasta. The pasta was just okay, nothing special, honestly something we could easily make at home. The chicken parmigiana was the biggest letdown: the chicken was dry, not juicy at all, and completely lacking in flavor. For a restaurant at this level and price point, the food was well below expectations. Overall, the dinner did not live up to what we expected, and I WOULD NOT RETURN based on the FOOD QUALITY.

27/12/2025: Was having a quiet pint when the rude bartender kicked a poor man with learning difficulties out because he thought he was too drunk because he was taking his time reading then menu, don’t recommend and will never be back

27/12/2025: I have a reading difficulty and was reading the menu and they kicked me out because they thought I was too drunk. I tried to have a few drinks with my friends and was kicked out. Disgraceful staff.

05/12/2025: I am dissapointed after my dining experience last night with my friends. I ordered the duck. The dish itself was presented beautifully on the plate with the crispy skin and garnishes. I thought it was a bit on the pink side but thought maybe it might have been the beetroot dye that had rubbed off it slightly. I started on my fries though and had a small bite of duck. The waitress did come ask us how everything was after about 2 or 3 minutes in which at that point we were mainly enaged in conversation and hadn't eaten much yet so we said everything was okay. I then tucked into my dish but the duck was very hard to cut and very chewy. It was too pink for my liking and I ended up leaving it there. Typically Irish and not wanting to be fussy, I didn't say anything until the waiter came over approximately 10 minutes later at this point, when he saw I'd left my plate fairly full with the duck. I explained what was wrong and he said he'd speak to the chef. On his return he told me that the chef said the duck was perfect and that is how they cook it there. He said the chef also tasted it and said there was nothing wrong with it. To add more weight to his point of view, he told me that the chef was also the owner. He then said he was sorry for my experience and I should have said something earlier (fair enough) I said that I disagreed with it being perfect and that customer feedback was important but it seemed to be dismissed. I want to point out that I was not looking for a free meal or a discount. And at no point did the waiter offer anything at all either as a goodwill gesture. For me, the issue was them not acknowledging that there was a problem. Thats what I couldn't understand. I felt awkward and annoyed at myself for not voicing my dissatisfaction "2 minutes into the meal" With hindsight, despite the chef/owner disagreeing with me, it was really just put back on me that I was wrong and didn't know how duck should be cooked.( *Duck is one of my favourite dishes that I order at least twice a month when dining out) The bill came and we paid the full amount and left a tip for the waitress that served us too. But from a customer service point, I really am disappointed and I will not eat here again.

Have been several times now with friends, and it's a great place to ensure there are options for everyone whether someone in your group has coeliac disease, for example, or maintains a vegan diet. BYOB with a small charge opening bottles (corkage). Staff are friendly and engaging.

03/01/2026: Very elegant establishment with warm friendly management. But the food was noteworthy; certainly the best Moroccan I’ve had outside of Morocco 🇲🇦. A hidden gem!

15/01/2026: Amazing restaurant, we always have the loveliest time and we go pretty much once a month for the past year! Service is impecable and the manager is always so attentive! Food is out of this world too!

06/01/2026: Kinara has become one of my go-to places in Dublin. The food is fantastic, the staff always nice, the atmosphere classy but relaxed, and I like their funk playlist lol. I highly recommend the prawn jalfrezi.

19/12/2025: Great takeaway, food always very nice, very accommodating to vegetarians will swap out ingredients in meat dishes to accommodate. Staff always friendly and customer service is great, we drive 20 mins for this place when we fancy a takeaway curry!

17/12/2025: We order from masala every week the food is so good. Except for today we ordered chicken and veg biryani and both were not good. The veg biryani had frozen veggies (peas, corn and carrot mix) which was really really shocking. There were no other vegetables. The biryani tasted very sweet for some reason, the raita we got was sweet too and so was the curry we got. Wouldn’t recommend their biryanis at all.

06/12/2025: What a brilliant experience. Everything from the cocktails, food, to interiors were creative and considered. The servers were warm and welcoming, with personal touches and recommendations. We had the tasting menu, which had some amazing combinations - the smoked eel and mushroom was my favourite.

12/01/2026: Great food and very good staff. The udon noodles with grilled beef were excellent, full of flavor and cooked perfectly. The chicken teppanyaki was good, although the menu said it would be thigh meat and it was breast instead. Edamame and the salmon nigiri were also delicious. Overall, a very enjoyable meal and friendly service.

31/12/2025: Lovely, tiny, friendly little spot across from the Skylon. Great hot food and sushi. Very clean!
