The best restaurants in Dublin

21/10/2025: Dropped in for lunch and grabbed a sandwich — it was honestly class, really fresh and tasty. Coffee’s always great here too. Staff are sound, and the tall girl with brown hair was especially polite and had a lovely smile. Proper nice spot, definitely one of my favourites around

16/10/2025: Always a great spot for coffee. The team are friendly and the service is quick, even when it’s busy. The girl at the counter always has a nice attitude and keeps the place running smoothly. Great coffee, good people, easy choice every morning.

30/11/2025: We really enjoyed our time here at Uppercross Hotel. The room was perfect.. good shower.. fridge in room which was a bonus.. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of options.. The staff were so friendly and accommodating.. And David the owner was great. He went above and beyond to look after us.. highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back.

11/01/2026: Medley, where do we even start! Almost three weeks since our wedding and everyone is still talking about the incredible food, drinks, service, and most of all the staff. We always knew we didn't want a traditional wedding; we wanted something a little different, so we decided on City Hall and then to Medley - the best decision we ever made. To Andrew, Chris, Thiago, and all the wait and bar staff you are all amazing at what you do, and we are so grateful! Wish we could do it all again. What a vibe !! xx

11/12/2025: Great location in the city centre. Attended a corporate Christmas party. Good for a few drinks, wasn't impressed with the food though apart from the canapés which were lovely. Dry turkey and ham without gravy. It wasn't possible to order any gravy or anything else either.

14/12/2025: The relaxed atmosphere of the bar. The friendly Latvian guy who worked as a bartender made my experience one of the best of my trip to Dublin.

17/11/2025: Vadims is the kindest barman we’ve ever met. His dedication to hospitality is unmatched. We came to this pub because of the reviews for how great he was and they absolutely did not disappoint. We were only in Dublin for 3 days but we managed to visit this pub 2/3 days due to his kindness. We wish him and his wife the absolute best in life as they are so deserving ❤️

05/01/2026: This place opened 5 years ago or so, in a very central location, so passing it on multiple occasions we were tempted to try it for a festive brunch. It was disappointing on several levels. Food mediocre : cold beans and barely tepid eggs florentine. Rashers not edible. "House" potatoes were greasy little cubes stuck in little greasy pots. Truffle mayo on chips looked like a day old thick sauce on equally spongy chips. When asked to replace the potatoes by brown bread when ordering, the answer was " we don't have brown bread" (this is Dublin !) When asked for a coffee / tea menu, the answer was "we don't have itm just serve breakfast tea, peppermint tea and the usual coffees". My tea was a teabag put into a basket in a pot, tasteless. To top the eating area experience, the floor in the toilet has not seen a brush/wipe for a long long time. We chose this place as an alternative to the Ivy where we usually brunch. Maybe they don't change the menu there too often (hence the idea to try somewhere else) , but everything is always executed perfectly, good and fresh food and great atmosphere and the staff always make you feel special. We definitely will not be returning to Isabelle's.

11/11/2025: I stopped in to grab a hot drink on my way to a job interview and it was so lovely. Staff were so lovely, greeted me genuinely, made interesting conversation with me. The inside is homey, a litter bit cluttered (which I love) and entirely community orientated. A lovely hot chocolate too!

05/11/2025: 5 star food. 5 star staff. This restaurant is a hidden gem, stumbled on this restaurant yesterday, so glad I found this place, the service and food was top class. Very busy but service was still very efficient. Restaurant is spotless. If you're in this area, give it a try, you won't be disappointed also priced very reasonable

11/01/2026: Ordered chai latte ..it was horrible,too sweet and barely any taste of cinnamon Also it was my birthday and came to cafe with a small cake but they told me have to pay service fee for it ( 15€ ) and on top of that they refused to decorate it even though I bought the fruits and whipped cream by myself Also they made us wait even though I had reservation Atmosphere is bad as well..too crowded and loud and the waiter kept coming to us every 2 seconds to ask for our orders ..it felt like he was rushing us to order so we finish early and go home

11/01/2026: I love food and love finding new places! Sadly, this place is not worth going to. I came with friends. We ordered coffee to begin with. It was ok, not great. I then ordered the pulled pork eggs Benedict. Since the menu is VERY limited, I would have expected the main dishes to be freshly made. Not so. It came out very lukewarm and the hollandaise sauce had congealed on top. It looked and tasted like something that had been pre-made and either sat around for hours or was pulled from the fridge and heated. The hollandaise had no flavor to it, and the whole dish was pretty bland. I suspect this is why they don’t allow any changes - it’s all pre-made. My friend ordered the cinnamon roll pastry and only took 2 bites of it as it was too dry. Another friend ordered a brownie and it was small & really basic -not worth the price. It all just felt like a big rip-off. And to top it off, I went to the bathroom after the meal - two stalls were out of order, two sinks had broken taps and no soap to be found ANYWHERE. … I wanted to love this place but, really, would not recommend it at all, unless you just want some coffee or tea and nice decor to look at.

15/01/2026: A very welcome change after a week of British food. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious.

11/01/2026: The food wasn't bad, but the staff were inattentive, chatting in the kitchen and working at a Caribbean pace.

28/09/2025: When I went Into this coffee shop I Was feeling super relaxed after a good walk that I had before. So i decided to chill out with some hot chocolate. The staff are very good hard workers.

23/07/2025: Food was great a d lovely staff. We had a restaurant voucher given to us for our 50th anniversary but it was not accepted on their system. We checked it on return home and there shouldn't have been a problem looks like it was on the restaurants system. A little disappointing as we checked before booking.

21/07/2025: Waiter Smile, music, seafood like oyster, mussel, lobster and rain. Perfect moment on this bar in Howth town. Really sweet time.

09/12/2025: The donuts are obviously delicious but don't sleep on the Hot Chocolate! Melted Milk chocolate with milk and marshmallows. Perfection.
