20/09/2025: So good!
Food was amazing, everything fresh, delicious, I ordered chicken wing, Mac-cheese croquette and spice bag, it was delicious!
Photo taken before everything was over! Incredible and surprising!
Staff friendly, nice music 👌
18/08/2025: We ate here before the Oasis gig on Sunday. Not too busy so we were seated immediately. Great decor in the place. Burgers were awesome and served on strange looking black buns. Service was excellent and fast. We stayed on for a few beers afterwards.

Bad Ass Cafe
Dublin
19/05/2026: The place is definitely interesting and full of atmosphere. The bar itself is located in a corner building, which honestly feels like the perfect location for Temple Bar. You can immediately tell it’s made for tourists, lovers of Irish music, and anyone looking for that loud Dublin pub experience.
At first, though, we couldn’t even find the main entrance and accidentally entered from another side. Our first impression was actually a bit strange — the place looked a little sketchy, and we weren’t even sure we were in the right spot. But once we got inside, there was live music, lots of people, laughter, noise, and suddenly that real Irish atmosphere hit us. It actually felt great to be there.
We had booked a table through the Early Table App and were looking for the restaurant area upstairs. When we went up, it became obvious that the building is very old — everything felt worn, shaky, and a bit tired. There weren’t many people there, maybe one large table and a couple of smaller ones.
The waitress herself was lovely. She explained the menu, gave recommendations, and was genuinely friendly, so no complaints about her personally. But overall, the service was quite slow. We sat for a long time without menus or cutlery, and eventually I even sent my child to get the menus herself.
The food arrived in reasonable time, but almost everything was extremely salty. Especially the steak — it wasn’t really the kind of steak you would expect, and there was so much salt that even beer couldn’t balance it out. At the same time, some dishes were genuinely tasty: the wings were really good, and the burger was surprisingly nice too. The mussels were tiny though — honestly, I’d probably change suppliers if I were them.
The presentation was very basic, without much attention to detail: lots of potatoes, barely any vegetables, very small plates, and the child’s portion looked especially odd. Everything felt rushed and made for tourists rather than for people who truly appreciate food.
So yes, the place is famous, historic, and full of character. It’s definitely worth visiting once to experience the Temple Bar vibe. But personally, I probably wouldn’t come back a second time.
18/05/2026: We went to this place for an after-dinner drink and were drawn in by the live music that could be heard even in Crown Alley.
This young couple, playing and singing, got the whole place dancing, full of young people eager to have fun. I can't comment on the food because we didn't eat, but we did have a beer. It's definitely a great place to meet up and have fun.

Quattro
Dublin
25/04/2026: Excellent food however the service was poor. The main server possible manager was busy being mates with the young porter, putting ice down each other's shirts rather than focusing on tables. I'm all for banter in work however customer focus has to be prioritised.
The female waitress was just not interested, asked if we would like sparkling or still water, we asked for still and recieved sparkling.
Little details that could improve the service significantly.
Food was incredible though.
24/04/2026: Their margherita pizza is the best.
Kids loved it
Totally go there again

The Goblet
Dublin
20/05/2026: I wouldn't recommend this place at all, hired a room out for my dad's 80th birthday, the DJ was very aggressive, wouldnt play anything we asked for, instead some awful music, he grabbed me by both of my arms, in a twmper obviously full of drink, complained to the Manager, nothing was done, my advice don't ever use their DJ or room
03/05/2026: Food lovely very prompt service 4 empty plates going back would recommend we had beef and turkey just lovely would definitely return again.nice atmosphere

Il Corvo
Dublin
09/05/2026: We ordered a pizza to share and the quantity was sufficient, very thin crust with a unique flavor.
19/04/2026: We had our meal on a warm , sunny Sunday afternoon. We had visited the restaurant the last time we were in the area and were impressed so decided to try it again.
We were delighted with our meal. We were a party 3. We had pate and brusetta to start. The mains were chicken arrabiatta and chicken risotto.
For dessert we shared sticky toffee pudding and panacota and followed it with various coffees. The food was beautifully presented, very tasty and very reasonably priced.
I would strongly recommend a visit to this restaurant if you are in the area. You will not be disappointed .

09/09/2025: Great place for food and drink. Always a lovely atmosphere and the staff are very friendly.
30/08/2025: Came here for a family lunch, and I simply can’t fault a single thing. From the high quality food to the fantastic service, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Although slightly on the pricier side, it is well worth the investment. The cocktails were delicious. Thank you so much to the amazing staff for such a lovely meal. Will certainly be back!

Better than all the Chinese
13/05/2026: Ordered the Thai Green Chicken Curry this time — came out piping hot, super creamy, and the portion was huge. Rice was fluffy, not clumpy. Got my order in 12 mins on the app for collection. Staff at the counter were love

30/12/2025: A charming hidden gem in portobello Dublin
02/12/2025: Grand little spot altogether. Popped in for a morning coffee last Saturday and couldn’t fault it – smooth, hot, and exactly what I needed to start the day. Ended up grabbing a nice bottle of wine for the evening as well. Staff were sound and the place has a lovely relaxed vibe.

Ohana
Dublin
01/08/2025: Went to Ohana during Dublin Cocktail Week and had a great time. Had a passion fruit Cocktail which was amazing! 😃 🍸 🍹
31/07/2025: Very disappointing service. O’Hana’s cancelled my daughter’s hen party cocktail making class with only 2 days notice due to renovations. Over a week later and still no refund despite multiple emails and texts. Very very poor service. Avoid!

O'Reilly's
Dublin
06/04/2026: One of the most unique pubs in my Dublin trip! Tucked away under the railway arches, it has a unique underground vibe with its stone walls and cozy corners. It’s the perfect spot for a pint while waiting for a train or escaping the city bustle. Authentic, and full of character.
04/04/2026: Well, but more than an Irish pub, it's a bar with a strange atmosphere. Plus, maps confuses you to get there.

Roadstone group sports club
Dublin
25/03/2026: It was cold, wet early on. A bit mucky underfoot. Thankfully the rain cleared early. Result was Shamrock Rovers 1-Finglas United 3 in the Leinster Senior Cup.
