The best restaurants in Dublin

25/02/2025: Enjoyed a meal here for Sunday lunch, I had the roast beef, which was delicious real good cut, my wife had fillet of cod which was also lovely, service was also good and the atmosphere nice also but the big letdown was the price of a glass of wine, €13.50, absolute robbery thus the 3 stars, can’t understand for the life of me how that price can be justified for a glass of wine

29/11/2025: Amazing just amazing,I wish I lived closer ,I had sushi platter, takoyaki and some kinda meat it was a awesome my only complaints were the sushi wasn't cold enough (but still amazing) and the takoyaki was too big as well as the flakes around the takoyaki I didn't like ,it all seemed good price but I can only speak about what I ate btw ,and finnily the waiter we had was sooooooooooooooo nice and kind awesome, 11 out of 10 stars best time to come is around 12:30 but the restraint was a bit small but not corner shop small plus the quality of the supplies are good and if you can't use chop sticks they have auto chopsticks so you can't mess up, I gave a 10 pound tip and wrote this review right after, if your vegetarian or vegan then it's no real problem ,will come again!!!!:). :)

23/11/2025: Fantastic, authentic delicious low-key but extremely worth it. It’s a shame they have a bus shelter directly outside the restaurant which hides its Façade. Definitely one of those restaurants you’ll go back to again and again.

10/12/2025: Kitchen closes at 7.45 so didn't get to eat. Really disappointing - they could make this clearer on their socials.

09/12/2025: Amazing pizza, friendly staff who're full of suggestions for other spots to visit, and delicious Guinness. Highly recommend.

19/02/2025: Very good level of service. Too many staff casually vaping inside offices and at reception area. Unpleasant sweet smell throughout the place. It's not a great look for general public/customers to encounter.

12/12/2025: We stopped by a moment ago and politely asked if a table for three was available. A member of staff (probably the owner himself) rudely shooed us away for no reason. Kudos to you for your professionalism.

12/12/2025: Xmas party. 1 hour delay, crammed 20 of us in space of 10. Cold food, undercooked potatoes. Fatty chewy steak. Awful experience

16/10/2025: Medicore food, fishiest prawns I've ever eaten and no crushed nuts on the Pad Thai!? Sacrilege. Much better food in Dublin for a more reasonable price too!

08/09/2025: Went to this place yesterday. Seems like a family-run restaurant, run by an old man and his wife. The old man was very polite and also served us very well. He was also super considerate by mentioning about the ingredients in a certain dish weren't suitable for vegans. The food tasted amazing, seemed authentic, and was quite-filling too. The restaurant gave a very homely vibe, which I liked quite a bit. Would definitely visit the restaurant again if I have the opportunity to.

21/11/2025: Lovely hotel with nice staff, but it's over priced I believe for the quality of the rooms, TVs without modern smart facilities, etc. I also paid €28 per night for valet parking, but valet really means you just have to queue at reception to give them your key, give them 15mins notice to get your car back and both times I gave notice I was waiting much longer; once because they were busy and had another car to move first (I don't see how that added so much time) and the second time because there was a delivery truck in the bay - it's far too expensive for the service.

09/09/2025: This use to be a lovely pub - I remember I use to pop in for a pint and a sambo on a quiet Sunday afternoon as a hangover curer! The lady that use to serve me was so lovely and friendly, as well as the thin bald man. I remember I said to my family we should go down sometime for a sandwich with the dog as I noticed they allowed dogs on their premises. I then brought my elderly mother down with the dog and we sat down and were met by big bell-ied bald man that was horrible to us! Very rude and nasty and d poor dog even hated it! Big belly-ied boy was too lazy to serve a sambo! I went back two or three times after this and every time that big belly boy was there, you’d know you’d have a terrible experience! Pub would be better without him! Please leave lad, patrons do not like you

10/09/2025: Great Guinness,friendly staff.Was my grandads local so went in to raise a Guinness or two for his anniversary.

08/09/2025: The barman is as thick as two planks. I asked could I charge my phone and he sent me around the shop to buy a plug. I did that and he plugged it in. I then went outside and crossed the road because my crippled friend was in the park and he followed me with the phone and the charger to give it back, instead of just leaving it to charge. Couldn't just say "No, we don't charge phones". Couldn't just leave it for a minute after plugging it in. It was very clear I just needed to charge the phone. I bought a pint of Guinness to keep them happy. Just either unintelligent or ignorant. Probably a mixture of both. Just say no and I would have asked in the South Strand next door. Smarter barmen in there.
