The food was incredible, I'm a veggie and my partner isn't so we wanted to make sure we both really enjoyed our meals on the day and I honestly couldn't fault it was SO GOOD. Huge thank you to Thiago and Chris for their coordination and all the work they put in to making the day so special and flow perfectly. We were able to create the best day possible. We've received nothing but glowing reviews for the space itself, the food, the staff and the incredible atmosphere!! Would highly recommend for a city wedding

02/12/2025: Grand little spot altogether. Popped in for a morning coffee last Saturday and couldn’t fault it – smooth, hot, and exactly what I needed to start the day. Ended up grabbing a nice bottle of wine for the evening as well. Staff were sound and the place has a lovely relaxed vibe.

14/02/2026: I don’t usually leave reviews, but I wanted to share this as I was genuinely disappointed, especially because Rudys used to be one of my go-to local restaurants. I visited Rudys for lunch last weekend. It has always been a place I trusted for good food, which made this experience a letdown. We ordered the full Irish breakfast plate and the spicy king prawn taco. The full Irish brea was slightly different than what it used to be. It was served on a regular plate instead of the iron plate and the overall quality didn’t seem as good as good before. But the prawn taco didn’t work at all. Instead of the fresh salad, sour cream and salsa-style sauce it normally comes with, it was completely full of purple cabbage coleslaw. The prawns and the purple cabbage coleslaw had no real balance in flavour and it didn’t feel like a taco. The mayonnaise was quite heavy and made the dish feel greasy Even the small details felt different. In the past, when asking for ketchup, we were given what seemed like a house-made version with a nicer flavour. This time, it was just regular ketchup. I didn’t complain on the day as I don’t plan to return, but it was disappointing to see the quality and attention drop at a local restaurant I used to really enjoy. I’m leaving this review out of disappointment rather than anger, and I hope the food improves again in the future.

28/03/2026: We made a last-minute booking after another restaurant cancelled our reservation for being just two minutes late. Fortunately, this turned out to be a great experience. The food was excellent, and the customer service was outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there. The meal was a perfect 10/10, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, taking great care of me and my friends. I would highly recommend this place any day.

It’s very small but a lovely quick stop on your seaside trip to Blackrock or on the way to another seaside town along the dart! PS: The little Indian spot called 3 Leaves is pure class! Honestly some of the best Indian I had ever had!

27/01/2026: Picked up some bao buns and bubble team while I was walking by. The honeydew bubble tea was DELICIOUS - absolute 10/10. The bao buns were good and we got a great deal on them. Perfect for a little pick me up and then we had some leftovers we were able to have later that night! Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for some comfort food in the Temple Bar area.
