20/04/2025: Such a great fresh food and good environment

18/04/2025: The food is excellent, you can get your usual Westernised dishes but they have genuine dishes that you can't get elsewhere. We had a Family meal there and we all agreed it was the best Pakistani/Indian food we've eaten. Try the aloo keema fry with a kulcha. The deserts are fantastic also, try the fulooda (🤔 I think that's the spelling 😁)

26/11/2024: It's been a while, but I've been there four times and each time it's been an experience. Steaks fantastic, side dishes or wines simply fantastic. You definitely pay for the service and the ambience. During my visits there were muffins filled with cheese and butter first. Guys, I've never eaten anything like that before or since. And before that, a nice gin and tonic in the cellar. Simply worth the trip.

12/12/2024: I prefer the coffee beans from Cool Hand. The milk is sometimes heated too hot and other times it’s too cold. I feel Insomnia is more consistent at my preferred 65 degrees. The music is often too loud. I prefer the volume of the music at Lean Bean. Finally, the owner, I think his name is Simon, is very enthusiastic and tells me to have an AMAZING day. I prefer a quiet Barista.

03/04/2025: On a spontaneous whim, my wife and I decided to visit The Black Forge Inn, primarily due to my admiration for Mr. McGregor. We were immediately captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance, which set the stage for an exceptional dining experience. Our meal began with the Tacos, which were truly delightful. As a personal suggestion, incorporating finely sliced Oshinko pickles in place of the watercress might add an extra layer of flavour and texture to the dish. For the main course, my wife enjoyed the Mushroom Linguine. The blend of cheese, pesto, mushrooms, and pasta was absolutely delicious. I opted for the Fish and Chips; while the flavour was fantastic and the tartar sauce complemented it well, a crispier tempura-beer batter could elevate the flavour and texture. The chips were also amazing. The pricing was particularly impressive, especially considering Dublin's typically high dining costs. A two-course meal accompanied by two drinks totalled €77, which we found to be excellent value. Our server, Brian, was exceptionally friendly, chatty and attentive, enhancing our dining experience. We both really liked Brian as he made us feel welcome from the moment we walked through the door to the moment we left. While parking directly at the pub is limited, we found convenient free parking in the residential area behind the pub/restaurant, which was easy to access despite our cross-city journey. Overall, our visit to The Black Forge Inn exceeded expectations, offering high-quality food, attentive service, and remarkable value. I highly recommend this pub as a must-visit for anyone traveling to Dublin.

18/03/2025: Nice local cafe with very good customer service. Pet friendly too! I loved the scone came with the jam/cream/butter in little dishes and not single packaging. We will be back to try the hot food next time.

10/03/2025: Great spot. Consistently good coffee and food. Sausage rolls are massive and delicious. Outside space in the front and back, comfortable and bright lighting. Service is personable and quick. Overall one of my favs in Dublin.

07/04/2025: I've eaten a lot of Chinese food over the years, even directly in China. The food here was 1st rate! I can't express how good the food is here. I had the Irish beef which fused fantastic ingredients with 1st rate cookery skills. The chef here is a wonder, the food is amazing (I'd class it as the best Chinese I've EVER had) front of house were also brilliant, attentive and helpful with great suggestions. If you're in Dublin and you want a Chinese this is THE place to go. Loved every mouthful... Oh, nearly forgot the amazing dumplings! Shows how good they are if I could forget these wonderful parcels of deliciousness. I can only leave you with how I'm feeling thinking about it and it can only be summed up by Homer thinking of a donut.

27/03/2025: Very nice and cozy little restaurant, great food unfortunately if you have a table near the door it is really annoying because it gets cold.

08/04/2025: Its okay, as it is caffe nero. The cake was okay, my seems always something a little bit dirty the environment. So the experience isn’t good.

15/03/2025: We only popped in for a drink all the staff we interacted with were delightful. It’s just a bit tired, a bit untidy and the bar area very much smelt of fried food, which was a bit unpleasant. Sadly it’s not for us.
