11/09/2026: A super fun outing for a Tuesday evening! For 10 euros, you can watch dog racing all evening. There are 8 races, where you can pick a dog that might win, either for fun or by placing a bet. We didn't bet any money, but we did win a few times.

09/09/2026: Blown away by the service and convenience of this area. Haven’t been to a dog track in years but how everything is conveniently there I cannot fault and the beautiful view of the Aviva during the day makes for a great view, only problem is I can’t be there for the Derby this Saturday. Only thing was I wish they timed it for Katie Taylor’s last fight but even then still worked in its way.

06/08/2026: The tortas with veg (I was close to selecting pollo) and the sauces were DELICIOUS! I could easily try the other meals which look delicious too.

16/08/2026: This was our third time here, and my boyfriend brought me back for my birthday. It's quickly becoming one of our favourite places. We started with the oysters and a lovely bottle of red wine, followed by the Chateaubriand, which we've now ordered on all three visits. Once again, it was absolutely exceptional. We always order it medium rare, and the consistency is incredible – perfectly cooked, beautifully pink throughout and exactly the same high standard every single time. What made this visit even more special was that the chef, Tadhg, remembered us from our previous visits and sent out a little dish for us while we waited for our steak. Such a lovely touch. The staff were fantastic too, extremely attentive and welcoming throughout the evening. For dessert, I was actually planning on ordering the rhubarb and white chocolate cheesecake, only for them to surprise me with it for my birthday. We finished with a double espresso each, and it was a perfect end to the night. Sitting downstairs where you can watch the chefs cooking adds so much to the experience. We met Tadhg on the way out and were delighted to tell him personally just how exceptional his cooking is. Three visits, three amazing Chateaubriands. Hats off to Tadhg and the whole team. We'll definitely be back again.

09/08/2026: Went for a birthday dinner. We have the lamb rump and tomahawk as mains. Very disappointed with the quality of the meat and the very high price. The menu on the website is different than the menu at the restaurant. The meat was chewy, with a lot of tendons. The creamed spinach as a side was full of sauce, more like a soup then cream. The margarita was the most terrible cocktail in Dublin. They have the worst steak knives that could not cut through steaks at all. We were the first to arrive on the second floor and the music was so loud until the second table of guests arrived. The waiters did not come to the table and ask for our opinions. There was no such thing as service for the night. I did mention it was a birthday dinner when making the reservation but there was no acknowledgement at all. Very disappointed overall and would not recommend.

31/08/2026: Been coming here for the past 10 years. It is always good food and good service. We love the place. A great menu to accommodate everyone and the staff are always so consistently sound 👌

27/08/2026: I went to this coffee shop on a friend's recommendation, and I absolutely loved it. The new barista, Eglantine, is very attentive and quick, and the coffee is delicious. It's a quiet and cozy place. Highly recommended!

18/09/2026: Well guided by the Routard guidebook, we spent a little while looking for the discreet entrance before discovering this large interior space. Upstairs, we were seated after ordering. Our brunch was enjoyable.

14/08/2026: Took payment online but the order didn't go through. We called and they said they were having problems with their online system, and told us to contact customer service. Their website wasn't working either so we cannot contact them and there is no phone number either. So we called the store back and they refuse to either make the pizza or give a refund. Make it make sense?

05/07/2026: Attended a wedding reception at the Brass Onion in July 2026. The starter was a nice light salad. The main course of Chicken was superb. The wedding cake was of Brazilian origin and luscious. I simply cannot recommend the Brass Onion enough. My compliments to staff for a fantastic meal.

19/07/2026: Just left here after attending a family babyshower. Gina is amazing. She looked after us so well. Absolutely cracking spot. So much fun. Food was fabulous 👌 Thanks Gina

13/07/2026: We recently hosted a small engagement party at Bobby’s and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. Although we work nearby, this was our first visit, and it won’t be our last. Gina, our host for the evening, was exceptional. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly attentive throughout. Our group took to her immediately, and she made everyone feel welcome and well looked after. We were never left unattended, and her cheerful manner really added to the atmosphere of the night. The food was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by all. Overall, it was a wonderful evening with outstanding service, and our bride-to-be was absolutely delighted. I would highly recommend Bobby’s to anyone looking for a great dining experience or a venue for a special occasion.

16/08/2026: The service was super slow which would be fine by us if we were not pressured by the staff to leave for the next booking. it took them 25 mins to serve 2 cocktails. we also waited 15-20 mins between courses pf small plates. Some dishes were nice some were average some were underseasoned. The music was also too loud at 18:30?? god knows why - we couldn’t hear each other so we had to shout. Also, the concept of small plates should be about sharing them, but serving one mini bao for €9 defeats the concept. Make it 12 and serve 2 at least. Overall It was an unpleasant experience.

16/08/2026: Anything I say about bigfan will fall short of the culinary geniuses that operate this kitchen. Very unique menu experience with a checklist, perfectly captured Asian flavours and a very kind staff. They are the umami kings of Dublin. The lighting could be better for sure a little too dark for my liking
