Vintage Cocktail Club
Dublin
15/07/2025: An absolute favourite, this one! It's weird that a "secret" door and a speakeasy vibe gives me so much pleasure, but it totally worked on me - making this visit feel like an event or adventure 😍 The staff were really nice and accommodating!
They do offer non-alcoholic drinks as well, with a full flavour profile and catered to your tastes. Cocktails, and not just a soda in a glass 💚 The music is suited to both the mood of the place and the 1920s era they're trying to emulate. An interesting menu (complete with "a history of the cocktail") , comfortable seating (plush chairs and sofas), smooth lighting (candlelight and soft lights), and good food (we had a lovely and extremely reasonably priced cheese board with fruit, jam/chutney, an assortment of lovely cheeses, crackers, vegetables and olives/chilis.
Cocktails will always cost you, but at approx €16 per drink (and the quality of the drinks) this was very reasonable.
A great night and a place beyond "a regular bar".
12/07/2025: Recommended by a work colleague.
Reservations are highly recommended.
The cocktails were great.
The speakeasy-style ambiance is fantastic.
The VCC is definitely worth a visit.

The Grayson
Dublin
12/07/2025: The Grayson offered to play all the Wimbledon matches with a giant sign outside & evident on Instagram, we went to watch the final and they said we aren’t playing this match, my friend called and they confirmed they would, on arrival, after moving 3 times they were placed at a seat where they couldn’t see or hear the tv. What false advertisement.
14/06/2025: Stunning artwork and decor, but most breathtaking (beyond the menu) is the exterior of the building! The natural growth reminds me of Park Royale Singapore and is a favorite architectural trait of one of my queens 👸 ❤️
Recommend the Miso Glazed Aubugein (sp) salad and a Guinness for lunch! 🥗
Nice office for sale attached to Boston college next door as well.
Edit: waited in lobby on second visit, guests arriving after were seated first. Could work on their service. Otherwise wonderful,

The Saucy Cow Vegan Food Temple Bar
Dublin
06/07/2025: Yummy food! All was delicious:)
Nice staff and loved the look of the place
05/07/2025: Definitely Dublin's quintessential vegan burger joint! I ordered the classic burger with fries and couldn't finish them. The burger is filling and delicious. Bonus points for the vegan bacon, which isn't as common or as well-done elsewhere.

Yoi Izakaya
Dublin
24/07/2025: Absolutely love this place. Lovely atmosphere and the food was top notch. Have to shout out my main man Clement, he was a really nice dude and recommended the star roll which was amazing. Highly recommended. Had the prawn dumplings and scallops to start and two rolls for main for two of us which was more than enough.
23/07/2025: For me the best Asian fusion restaurant I have tried in my life in all of Europe. Been around ten times now in a few years and the food was delicious every time, no matter what I ordered. One of my favourite dishes remains the seafood ramen - exquisite!

Quattro
Dublin
06/07/2025: Quattro is hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area! I can't recommend it enough. Their pizza, pasta, and starters are all amazing. If you're lucky, they sometimes have a fantastic beef ravioli special – definitely try it if you see it on the menu. Beyond that, the antipasti, focaccia, and the incredible 'nduja pizza are all must-tries.
They also boast a great selection of wine to perfectly complement your meal. What truly sets Quattro apart, though, is their superb staff. They are lovely, super friendly people and incredibly helpful; they even held onto a forgotten bag for me for a whole month!
You'll find plenty of parking around, and it's a very kid-friendly spot, which is a huge plus. Just a heads-up, if you're planning to go on a Friday or Saturday afternoon/evening (especially from 6 pm onwards), it gets very busy, so booking ahead is highly recommended.
05/07/2025: Lovely pizza, lots of choice, delicious brownie, kind staff!

The Kings Inn
Dublin
07/06/2025: Lovely old style pub that also serves some craft beers. One of the best pints of Guinness I've ever had. I didn't have any food (toasties) so can't rate them but I would definitely have no problem recommending a visit. Dog friendly too!
05/06/2025: Really good Dublin Bar, nice staff.

Liath
Dublin
11/07/2025: intimate, super friendly with flavours to die for. Outstanding!
10/07/2025: This is one of the best food experiences of my life. The food is so well thought out and exceptionally executed. The restaurant is small so you get a really personalised experience with Damian Grey coming to each table to chat through the dishes and you can see the passion he has for his food. One of the best chefs of his time.

Zizzi
Dublin
30/06/2025: Great gluten-free pizza.
But, but, but: I was really unsure about the desserts. I don't drink alcohol on principle and asked which dessert was gluten-free. When I pointed out that the cake they'd recommended to me had layers of gin, they said it was jam. And? It's still alcoholic. Honestly, that shattered my trust in the staff.
PS: The espresso was great.
29/06/2025: Pizza was delicious, strawberry Sunday was just okay and quiet expensive at 8.50

Gourmet Burger Kitchen
Dublin
18/07/2025: Alba is awesome!!!
Thank you for making us feel so good 💫
18/07/2025: Very good atmosphere. We were served by Alba who made our day with her smile and her wonderful Spanish accent.
I had the vegan burger and it was alright but not the best vegan burger I have eaten. Using a vegan burger such as “beyond meat” would make it a great success. The salad, starters, and sides were excellent.

O'Donoghue's
Dublin
09/07/2025: Wonderful evening with live music! The bar staff are so friendly and the Guinness is so good! I was desperate to hear live trad music (not in Temple Bar) and finally found this place the day before our departure back to the states. Nice mix of locals and tourists here, and not packed in like sardines. (Also the place where The Dubliners got their start, can't get much better than that!) Definitely come here for an authentic evening with like-minded folk.
