11/09/2026: Leaving a review because I love the food - I order the carbonara and it's delish! - but also want to warn everyone to order directly from their website because deliveroo charges an additional 5euro as a deposit fee on the garlic pizza bread. Not sure why cuz it comes in disposable take out containers.

27/08/2026: Excellent food, very pricey for the general vicinity in the Dunlaoghaire Rathdown area, limited parking adjacent but the SuperValu carpark opposite usually has plenty of space. They single themselves out by not providing chips with their Burgers menu, chips are extra at €5. Hidden in the menu is a reference to the burger being "nude" a smart ass way of charging more out of you for the chips. This is the only establishment in the general area that has this mean practice. A bit lacking in atmosphere and some boisterous noisy customers at weekends. On several visits I found the floor service staff to be lacking and disinterested. However I went there specifically for the good food and had to ask for service, bill payment came more promptly. You are advised to read TripAdvisor before you make your mind up about going here.

06/09/2026: Went in for a couple of drinks with a friend, the restaurant is of course gorgeous, and the music was great. All the members of staff I encountered were friendly and accommodating. And they make one of the best french martini's I've ever had.

04/09/2026: The Bank is a beautiful bar, occupying an old bank. Get there early, as the after work crowd is just starting to arrive. Friendly, and the bartenders work hard. Great place for a pre-dinner drink with friends or a date.

12/09/2026: Absolutely amazing! From the food to the staff, I can’t go to without mentioning Jirka and his daughter Lola. And the passion fruit soufflé is a must-try.

01/09/2026: Three hours. Four courses. Four different staff to get the bill. Nearly 30 years of pedigree, a Michelin Guide listing, rave reviews everywhere. So we expected a lot. We didn't get it. Everything was aggressively salty, and I like salt. The broccolini that came with my dinner tasted like it was boiled in hot dog water and covered in ballpark cheese. And table after table left theirs barely touched. The filet was cooked properly but tough, a bad cut, which at €85+ a head is worse than a temperature problem. The desserts were the star of the meal; every one finished and enjoyed. But salting is Cooking 101, and a filet that tough starts with the butcher's knife. That's not one slipped dish. That's a kitchen slipping. Every member of staff was polite. But the service was better at McDonald's. Three hours for four courses means being forgotten between courses by people who are very nice about it. When I asked for the check, one server said "sure," then strolled past us clearing other tables. It took four different staff before anyone took our payment. An off night, maybe? Except the dining room full of untouched broccolini says otherwise.

17/09/2026: We visited Dublin end of August. This little place is classic! The host got folks in and out from the queue and waited tables to boot. He was excellent but please note there was a quota on how many questions you could ask. Don’t ask for cream with your coffee. Just order a white coffee. I admit I asked way too many questions. So if you’re like Sally in When Harry Met Sally this is not your place!! Our waiter gave us his very best service considering his workload and ignored us when appropriate! The owner who we didn’t know anything about harassed our friend for not finishing her plate and implored us to get the —— out!! We loved it!! This is a greasy spoon kind of place, so if you’re looking for upscale and scrupulous just forget about that and go elsewhere. We do wish we got a photo of the owner with our friend. He’s the best…

17/09/2026: A good place for the Irish breakfast. Despite the place being packed on a Wednesday morning, the service was super friendly and swift once a table opened for us. Bonus points for no QR codes

09/09/2026: Now attend closely, dear reader, for this is the marrow of my tale: for those poor souls who, by curse of nature, cannot partake of wheat and gluten, this house doth offer the finest gluten-free burgers in all the town. Nay, I jest not — I have wandered far and wide, tasted many a bun both foul and fair, and never have I found bread so soft, so worthy, that carries not a grain of gluten within it. 'Tis a marvel of the baker's craft, fit to rival any wheaten loaf. The beef itself was juicy as a summer plum, seared with a crust most excellent, and the toppings — crisp lettuce, ripe tomato, cheese melted to golden perfection — didst crown the whole affair like jewels upon a king's mantle. Each bite didst hold together nobly, the gluten-free bun neither crumbling to dust nor turning to paste, a fate that befalls lesser establishments. On the Overall Judgment In sum, good reader, I proclaim unto thee: if thou art cursed with the affliction of gluten's bane, seek out Bunsen Burger without delay, for here thou shalt find no compromise in flavor nor texture. A full four and one-half stars out of five do I bestow upon this noble house of burgers — a triumph for the afflicted and the hale alike. Fare thee well, and may thy next burger be as glorious as mine own

09/09/2026: An absolutely fantastic experience at House of Read! Hands down the best mocha I’ve had in Ireland. The cake was delicious, and the atmosphere is wonderfully cozy and welcoming. To make it even better, Taiga provided incredible service so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend🥳

24/08/2026: The restaurant is in a great location, especially if you're going to a concert or match at Crow Park, as it's very close by.We ordered pizza and nachos.The nachos were top-notch, fresh, and very good.However, I didn't like that after I used my cutlery to eat the veggies and sauce and set it on my plate, the waitress took the dirty plates and just put our used forks back on the table, making it clear we wouldn't get new ones. Other than that, I can't complain—it's a nice place🙂

11/10/2025: As a Uruguayan, I really appreciate a good steak — and **Tomahawk Steakhouse** absolutely delivered. I loved sitting at the counter with the **grill right in front of me**, watching the chefs at work while enjoying an **excellent Italian wine**. The meat was perfectly cooked, full of flavor, and the whole experience felt authentic and warm. A truly **outstanding dining experience** — can’t wait to go back! 🥩🍷🔥

25/09/2025: Mind-Blowing Quality—Worth Every Penny! We are from Switzerland, a place where steak is already incredible, but this restaurant truly blew us away! The meat was absolutely fantastic—a cut above. We ordered the Delmonico and the fillet steak, and both were utterly perfect. The service was impeccable, and the wine selection was equally impressive. This is a genuinely high-end establishment with high end prices prices that are completely justified by the outstanding quality delivered. Nice flair and good service and vibes. Deserves the full five stars!

22/09/2026: I went there to try the fish and chips. The cola in the picture is very different, I recommend it. It appeals to us, but I can't say it was amazing, but maybe it's because we come from a coastal country. Try this cola, it's quite good. Also, as you can see in the photo I took from the restroom, hygienic products are offered free of charge. Very good, it's usually very crowded, the place is very small and limited, they don't let you in without a reservation, but I went alone so they were helpful. I don't know if it was peak hours, I went around 4:30 PM, you should still make a reservation.
