The best restaurants in Dublin

03/12/2025: Charlotte Quay delivered a top-class evening, the food was excellent, the service was even better, and Brooklyn set the tone with her upbeat, knowledgeable style, the kind of service that genuinely lifts the whole experience.

29/11/2025: This restaurant boasts a prime, strategic location right on the water canal, providing beautiful sunset views and a cozy atmosphere ideal for a post-work drink or dinner. It is divided into two distinct areas: a bar segment and a dedicated dining segment. The menu offers a wide selection of food, which is generally acceptable but on the pricey side. Be aware that the holiday season brings intense crowds and high noise levels. While the menu has been inconsistent over the years, the good news is that the food quality appears to have improved based on my latest visit.

14/10/2025: I was there for lunch today, the food was very good and the service provided by Manu was brilliant. I definitely recommend it.

27/09/2025: Brunch was perfectly fine, nothing that will make the highlight reel but nothing to complain about either. Food was good, service was friendly, atmosphere was pleasant. All round solid, the Switzerland of eateries: neutral, polite, and the sort of place everyone agrees is ‘grand.’

29/11/2025: The place is fine, it's clean. Good music. But the food was horrific. I got a chicken spicebag. It was dry and chewy, and felt old since at least a week ago. Barely got any peppers in it and no onions(which it says it does come with). And most of the potatoes were charred to complete blackness.The curry sauce I got with it tasted nice but had the consistency of water.The Camille thai in Santry is much better than this one, I wouldn't waste my time here if I were you.

26/10/2025: They made a "flat white " that tasted like plain milk, when i took the lid off it was just white liquid in the cup, will never go there again. And I dont recommend it

30/11/2025: This was a gem! Right by the Hilton where I was staying. Great service from friendly people. John was top-notch. He made me feel like a local/regular from day one. Really enjoyed the music too. Definitely will be back.

25/11/2025: One of Dublin's iconic pubs, famous for excellent food for good reason. Very friendly staff. Great place to watch a match on TV, always lots of sports on.

25/11/2025: Amazing place...nothing else to add. It's decorated like you'd expect from an Irish pub, and the staff is welcoming and very respectful of their customers. I'll definitely be back.

31/07/2025: My favourite spot in Dublin (if not the country) for food! Always delivers the flavour. First time in the new premises but great to see the same friendly staff and high quality food continue. Always recommend Alma to anyone looking for good food in Dublin knowing they won't be disappointed.

23/07/2025: A difficult spot to visit due to high demand & limited space however worth the effort of making a reservation ahead to visit. I recommend trying the avocado toast and the pancakes after to share. Fresh orange juice and a coffee are also a great option at Alma. I recommend checking them out.

18/10/2025: Google said that the store operates untill 10 pm on Friday. I arrived at 8.55 pm and was told that the store close at 9 pm. Tried to ask Google tò change the time to avoid Other people do the same mistakes but Google rejected My change. Nothing against the store but please change your opening hours on Google.

20/10/2025: This place has a very cute vibe! The food was delicious and the drinks were amazing. When I couldn’t figure out what I wanted to drink, the bartender personally came over and asked some questions to help recommend an amazing drink!

23/11/2025: Went for lunch on a Saturday. The carvery was delicious & very reasonably priced with half portions available & a good selection of desserts. Will 100% be going again.

28/08/2025: I will never visit this place again and you should not, either. However, if you decide to go there, you should definitely double-check your receipt here before paying. First I was charged 25.25 instead of 11.60 but realized only after swiping my card. Then they initiated a refund and charged my card again with the right amount (11.60), so I thought it was OK after all. I only realized on the next day (when the refund arrived) that they decided to "keep the change" and refund only 25.00.

28/08/2025: Really bad drop off from this place. Was previously my favourite space for lunch in Dublin. Unfortunately with massive price increases and a drop in quality it’s not worth it. Ordered the spicy Cajun sandwich and noticed they stopped putting any sauce on it. 12€ for a dry chicken and cheese sandwich is frankly a rip off
