The best restaurants in Dublin

16/05/2026: Our favorite Italian in Dublin. Highly recommend! They have the best lasagna and pizzas (and pasta, and desserts). Weekly special dishes. Attentive service. Make sure you book as the place is small and quite popular.

02/05/2026: Food here always slaps and portion sizes are massive. Had a gorgeous seafood pasta, and my bf had a Ragu pasta, there was so much sea food and ragu in both - really good value. The mushroom pizza is so good too - I’m always craving it. Love having this little neighbourhood gem

15/12/2025: Great coffee, fresh takeaway food (pastry, sandwiches, salads) and a big selection of artisan grocery items including their own range of excellent balsamic vinegar and olive oils. There's also a sit-in option, which I haven't availed of. Warm and friendly service. Id highly recommend this neighbourhood gem.

28/11/2025: The cutest shop and the coffee was lovely. Really friendly and kind service. And you have to try the cinnamon bun!!! Insanely delish!

31/12/2025: I arrived at 6:30pm on New Years Eve without a reservation. And when the woman in charge heard I was a party of one she immediately found me a spot. The curry chicken was great, and a huge serving. And it also included garlic bread AND chips! And since it was a special night I ordered the bread and butter pudding. They added every extra possible, and it was amazing! Thanks to all for making my solo night a memorable one! (And for keeping my glasses safe until I returned for them.) Highly recommend!

06/05/2026: This is not food... it is culinary art at its finest. It is a very rare restaurant that prepares food as delicate and precise as this. The chefs are of the highest standard, the food was delicious, well thought out and visually stunning. The night's conversation leaned heavily on the quality and taste of the food, especially after trying a couple of the chef's specials. The word "remarkable" found it's meaning in each plate we tasted. We, admittedly, cheekily ordered one or two of the pricier items on the menu and were presented with dishes so delightful, they are difficult to describe with mere words. That is not hyperbole. Alongside our meal, the summer menu cocktails went down a treat. There is also an extensive wine menu which we did not partake in. Staff are lovely, respectful and attentive. I would recommend this restaurant for a special romantic date night, for true blood fans of food and for any aspiring chefs. This is very possibly the best meal I have ever eaten in Dublin. Once again, not hyperbole. 10/10 - Rob

24/05/2026: Ordered an ice cappucino and an iced americano; the cappucino was fine but the americano was very watery and almost see-through and tasted wrong. Very disappointed.

14/09/2025: The coffee, Almond croissants and coffee are delicious. Good atmosphere and staff are friendly.

31/08/2025: Delicious treats and drinks. The only thing is that there is not much seats, but to grab something to eat and walk the canal is higly recommended.

01/05/2026: We had a perfect experience at Ryleigh’s! We celebrated my daughter 16th birthday there yesterday, and everything exceeded our expectations. The service was impeccable, and a special highlight to the kitchen crew; absolutely phenomenal. You can truly feel the passion and talent behind every dish. The food was simply outstanding, easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. A huge thank you to the incredible team for making the night so special. Highly recommend!

24/03/2026: What can I say? It's been four weeks since we went to this taste bud prison. We still can't believe it. First of all, almost all of us ordered "tenders" for €10. FIVE TENDERS!!!!!!! I'M OUTRAGED. The tenders were as dry as the Sahara Desert and as small as a fetus. And let's not even talk about the extremely slow service, even though there were only about six of us in the restaurant. The €5 fries were just as traumatic. Sincerely, Lucie, Lucas, Joffrey, Garance, and Kathleen. (and Lilou) 😁

03/06/2026: A few days ago, I visited your restaurant. Even though it was quite busy inside, two members of your staff, Anastasiia and Dylan, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Since I only wanted a drink, they seated me at the bar, but despite being busy, they still gave me the same level of attention and care as the guests sitting at the tables. Their service made me feel very welcome, and it was genuinely a pleasant experience. I really appreciated their professionalism and kindness. Thank you to both of them for making my visit so enjoyable.

26/03/2026: Lovely. I went to Ireland for the first time after my mom passed away. I wanted to learn more about my mom who always celebrated our Irish heritage in lots of things—the church, St Paddy’s Day, and the Virgin Mary. She’d warn me about her ‘ Irish Temper’ and cook stew. Lol ☘️ This bar is a cute spot I went to the Speed Dating Event which they have there. I’m commenting in the Soeed dating event. Look in advance and book hotels in area perhaps. Dublin is walkable. An Irish farmer at the event wanted me to live with him straight away 🤣🤣🤣. It was lovely fun. They slowed down the accent for me as I’m from California. I have accent too. Lol Speed dating was a unique way to have fun and travel. I hope the farmer found love. I was tempted! Big hugs from Laurie across the water. Btw Dublin is walkable and SAFE at night!! I walked back to my hotel alone. Never ever in the states would I walk alone at night but all the receptionists at my hotel told me they did. They said we can’t vouch for downtown ( by Temple Bar) bc there are tourists there. Ireland is one of the safest countries in the world I read. I’m sure there are exceptions but I felt safe. Tip: Don’t say you’re Irish. We say that in the states, but we’re distant cousins unless you can track your lineage back correctly. I just say—My great great gran lived in Dublin—Nora O’Leary! I received a hug and acceptance with this toned down attitude. Ok. Go and have fun. Americans let’s be on our best, kindest and humble behavior. (Not too popular right about now.) No, they don’t have a ton of ice, but they have the best milk you ever tasted—grass-fed. I had to start buying it for $7.50 a half gallon. Irish milk is the best.
