08/09/2026: The Ale Battered Smoked Haddock Fish and Chips is unique - not too smokey, just downright a very tasty delicious twist that makes me want come back again and have this meal! The Lamb Stew was also delicious. Service and atmosphere at O' Shea's Merchant were excellent!

07/09/2026: Our first evening in Dublin and we found this diamond of kitchen. Smoked and fresh fish chowder, Irish Stew with Lamb and Guinness Bread, a wonderful burger with chips, 2 Pints of Guinness and a friendly and nice service. See you tomorrow for Full Irish Breakfast. 07/09/2026: We just had toasted sandwiches but all the food looked really good amd i would be happy to have any of it. The place was very bust and we had to wait for a table, but that is a good sign.

05/09/2026: Have just spent three days at Wynn's Hotel in Dublin. It was wonderful! Elegant old building, well maintained with good facilities. Superb breakfast, served by very attentive staff. In fact all the staff are excellent, helpful, efficient and friendly. Location is unbeatable. One negative is that our room was at the front of the hotel and there was considerable noise from the traffic .

19/05/2026: Best hotel experience of my life ^^ Staying at the Wynn's is a real treat! The hotel is beautiful and extremely well located, the rooms are clean and well-equipped, and what can I say about the staff…! Special mention to Dani and Dave (night shift). They are simply extraordinary. Helpful, accommodating, funny… I'm running out of compliments! The breakfast is also incredible, congratulations to the chef for her eggs Benedict! I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

08/09/2026: We ran into Da Mimmo in a very random occasion when we were driving back home one night and there was nearly nothing opened for food. This place, which is a small but very cozy restaurant, has given us an amazing surprise: possibly one of the best meals we have ever had. The food is absolutely incredible, with no words to describe it. The service is equally great, everybody is so kind and polite and there is no long waiting for your food to be served. Da Mimmo has become our favorite restaurant since - and that has been over years. It really is like you are having food from a remote little village in Italy. I could not recommend this place enough to anyone. Every single experience we had there has been amazing, and we are doing well trying to go through all items in the menu. In our last visit, I tried the fish ravioli, made with cod and smoked salmon. I have to say that I was a bit unease when I ordered because I did not know what to expect, but as always, it was even more brilliant than the last dish I had there. A big thank you to the owners and staff of Da Mimmo. It’s always a pleasure to have dinner with you.

31/08/2026: this place is AMAZING. it got me my dream millipedes (archispirostreptus gigas and aphistogoniulus cf. corallipes), i named them mike and max, and mike got me 350,000 views on tiktok. max, the madagascan fire millipede, is very chill, too! hes never curled up, always crawls on my hand, and slower than my old white legged snake millipede mark. mike, the giant african millipede, is also very cute and fun to watch! sure, he bit me a couple times and released his chemicals on me twice and also pooped on me once, but hes a pet. anyway, pets aside, lets talk about other things. this place sells budwing stick insects, too, but theyre out of stock. but i like stick insects even more than millipedes and think that this shop sells all the invertebrates i like! (well, exclude white huntsmans and centipedes💀) and i also got to see tarantulas for the first time here! i checked this shop everyday to make sure the giant african millipedes and the madagascan fire millipedes werent outta stock and luckily they werent! overall, i dont like this place for its furniture and garden materials; i like it because of the invertebrates, reptiles, and turtles (even tho i didnt mention reptiles and turtles).

19/08/2026: Such a lovely family dinner last Saturday celebrating a birthday. Food was delicious. Prosecco was devine. Atmosphere super. Serving team noticeably really great - friendly; efficient and you can see they work well together and are hard workers. What more could you ask for? Can't wait to go back.

16/09/2026: Better than a Maldron breakfast. So on a damp Dublin Tuesday at 08:30 we three men choose 2 Pups for breakfast. Attractive entrance. Good looking pastries. So far so good. We get a table and then are firmly directed to use the QR code to order. Before any kind of service is provided we are asked to add a service charge to the not cheap breakfast. The eggs Avo were good. Açai bowl OK. Coffee tasted good but a small serving. This is not the way to go. Be more personable. We chose this place over a 15 euro breakfast at the hotel.

29/08/2026: Avocado toast with a tiny bit of avocado, cold poached eggs, cold haloumi - very disappointed for a first time experience. My partner had a sandwich with uncooked and chewy pieces of chicken thigh, which was unpleasant and morever, made him feel like having a food poisoning afterwards. He ate just half. The high review made us try the place. The unproper cooking and unfriendly staff (who looked angry because we didn't tip) made us never come back.

22/08/2026: Extremely shocked that this plate of nachos was allowed to leave the kitchen…. This was literally a bunch of freezing cold, slop piled ingredient after ingredient…. It was so unbelievably bland and tasteless with no spices or seasoning to the point where the jalapeños which are supposed to be spicy and kick you in the face tasted like cucumber slices.

29/08/2026: An amazing Indian - had lovely chicken chettinad and farmers butter chicken for the first time last night. The food was absolutely perfect - so fresh and tasty. Service was amazing - the lady taking the order couldn’t have been more helpful! Can’t wait to try something else on the menu now!

06/08/2026: Castle golf club was an excellent track in good condition. The staff were very friendly especially Alex at the pro shop. Food was delicious.

14/05/2026: Was at a function there. Food that came during function was surprisingly poor. Chicken skewers with a grape stuck on the end of i which were bereft of colour/sauce, sausages with no colour & grain mustard & wings which were meh. Update: 2nd event attended, beef was chewy and almost inedible. Apart from that, the place is a gem

14/05/2026: OMG!! The best bed... had the most relaxing shower also (the soap smells sooo IRISH SPRING like!!) What a a fancy spot. we left before breakfast, but we heard great things! Nestled in a quaint community. a 12 minute walk to shops, ice cream, a supermarket and the cutest flower shop ever! definitely recommend staying here when in Dublin!
