08/03/2026: Food was insanely delicious. Highly recommend and will be back. Amazing portion sizes also, could barely get up from the table I was so stuffed. Julia and Gunders were amazing also and deserve recognition.

15/12/2025: Great coffee, fresh takeaway food (pastry, sandwiches, salads) and a big selection of artisan grocery items including their own range of excellent balsamic vinegar and olive oils. There's also a sit-in option, which I haven't availed of. Warm and friendly service. Id highly recommend this neighbourhood gem.

28/11/2025: The cutest shop and the coffee was lovely. Really friendly and kind service. And you have to try the cinnamon bun!!! Insanely delish!

25/04/2026: I had a very disappointing experience at this bar. I ordered two pints from a barman with a beard who was extremely rude, not only to customers but also to his colleagues. Another staff member brought the card machine, and I paid as normal. However, shortly after, the same barman accused me of not paying, which was both embarrassing and frustrating. I showed him the receipt on my Google Pay as proof, and instead of apologising, he sarcastically told me to “enjoy your free pints” and then ignored me. This kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. Staff should treat customers with respect and handle situations professionally, especially when they are clearly in the wrong. I won’t be returning.

24/03/2026: What can I say? It's been four weeks since we went to this taste bud prison. We still can't believe it. First of all, almost all of us ordered "tenders" for €10. FIVE TENDERS!!!!!!! I'M OUTRAGED. The tenders were as dry as the Sahara Desert and as small as a fetus. And let's not even talk about the extremely slow service, even though there were only about six of us in the restaurant. The €5 fries were just as traumatic. Sincerely, Lucie, Lucas, Joffrey, Garance, and Kathleen. (and Lilou) 😁

29/04/2026: They don't issue receipts. I personally requested one at check-in, then at check-out, and finally via email, but nothing. This is an inappropriate approach, which could put people who need to request refunds in difficulty.

12/05/2026: Debbie was the staff member for us and she was so kind and inviting! The fish and chips had the greatest batter and crisp, with two delicious sauces! So amazing, highly recommend and easily feeds two people if you want to split dishes for sharing. The seafood chowder was also so flavorful and full of a quality variety of foods. There’s a great pub atmosphere for adults, and kid friendly from the crowd eating there at the same time. Good music but not too loud you can enjoy your company. Highly recommend.

11/05/2026: A lovely time at Gallagher's Boxty House in Dublin. The homemade fish and chips was a delight, fresh and perfectly crispy. Special mention goes to the mushy peas, which were very good, far from bland. The service was efficient and quick. But the real revelation for me was the dessert: an incredibly creamy cheesecake. It literally melted in your mouth, with a chocolate and red berry topping that added just the right amount of richness and zest. A pleasant place that I recommend.

04/05/2026: Absolutely thrilled with this fantastic restaurant. The food is first-class, the service is superb, and the building is beautiful, with old safes in the basement.

03/05/2026: Went to go for food went to shake the guys hand on arrival to which he refused and was rude and said no you can’t come in!the fact that we just got here and wanted food and was not drunk is actually immaterial as rude is rude as being told you are to drunk when you clearly wasn’t and just hate the English is a joke!!!I will be taking this further and asking for cctv footage and I hope he gets reprimanded!!!

04/10/2025: We ordered take away Beef Chow Mein yesterday, and it was so so dry. We were extremely disappointed by the fact that we had been waiting about an hour and then gotten super dry noodles. There was also almost no beef in one of our orders. Won’t recommend the noodles at least.

04/10/2025: Ordered beef chow mein yesterday and it’s fair to say Íve never been so disappointed in food in my life. This is what I got: 2 small pieces of beef that seemed like they got lost in this massive block of dry noodles. I didn’t have any sauces at home but I would’ve put ketchup in there, that’s how dry the pasta tasted and how desperate I was. Lowkey killed my vibe:/

16/10/2025: Great chilled out little cafe in Killiney Park in a lovely setting. All of the staff were really friendly and the cakes and pastries were to die for (best almond croissant and pain au raisin we’ve ever had) Also very dog friendly and you get meet loads of lovely dogs which was good as we love them and don’t have one of our own!!

15/10/2025: Lovely coffee. Fabulous brownies and protein balls. Interesting and broad selection of teas that I've yet to explore. Great layout where tired dog owners can relax and chat. A favourite switch off with nature. Food a bit pricey. Excellent service from very friendly staff.

02/03/2026: Blimen lovely pint, friendly staff, comfy seats & clean loos! Whole place was fab, and clean. Group walk-in and got a table grand, even classy on a lateish Tuesday eve. Would go again for sure!!

23/02/2026: Smashing pint of Guinness here and great atmosphere. Perfect to visit before or after a meal in Richmond across the street. So much better than the pub on the corner.
