Dunne and Crescenzi
Dublin
10/12/2024: The food was great. Quality and sauces very tasty.
It took very long for the pasta (over 60 minutes) and it wsd very loud
06/12/2024: I travelled for 6 hrs to get there and I will be doing it regularly, just for the food!
I hadn't been here for many years as I live outside Dublin now.
I was there on Thursday last and I haven't tasted food as well made in over a decade!
I had forgotten what really good food tasted like.
I had the RAVIOLI AI FUNGHI (minus the walnuts).
(Mushroom ravioli, parmigiano fonduta, crushed walnuts, truffled olive oil.)
It was so good!
So fresh and the flavours were perfect!
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
This place transported me to Italy, it made me fall in love with food again.

Fagan's

29/11/2024: Lovely staff. very friendly and helpful. Food was gorgeous...and the wine 🍷
22/11/2024: Have been coming here years every week, but sadly had such a bad experience today - lady serving up the roasts was so rude, aggressive, and just slopped it onto a plate.

29/11/2024: They don’t have food. But looks like local.
24/11/2024: Great music, genuine old Dublin pub. The barman was old school, never had to repeat your order he was on top of the game. Terrific pint of Guinness.

Cirillo's
Dublin
08/12/2024: Came here with a friend on her suggestion as was on her list, found the service to be ok and very much felt we were A) being rushed to get out ASAP and B) that when we asked the waiter something we were being an annoyance to him.
Food was ok - the arranchini was a highlight for starter along with the meatballs. I got the nduja pasta dish to start with and it was ok. Wasn't as spicy as I expected but solid 5/10. The wine was very good, we got the house red and went down well. We all got pizza for main 's and can't complain at all about it. The nduja one was my favorite
03/12/2024: Best pizza in town. Spectacular pie with Irish cheeses. Great wine selection

Mespil Hotel
Dublin
13/12/2024: I really like this place! Staff are lovely, rooms are seriously cosy with the rare treat of a bath, and the hotel food is pretty fine, too.
13/10/2024: I recently visited the Lounge at the Mespil Hotel for a meal, and I was impressed by the service. Álvaro, one of the team members, was excellent—attentive, friendly, and professional. He made sure everything was perfect and provided a wonderful dining experience. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the food and drinks were delicious. Even though I only stopped by for lunch, the quality of the service really stood out. I highly recommend it if you're in the area!

The Rolling Donut 55 South King Street, Dublin Ireland
Dublin
11/12/2024: The waitress did not let me warm up the donuts and the cookies, she said it was just for workers, but i bought 4 items
10/12/2024: I LOVE donuts and these sourdough donuts were some of the best I've ever had. The dough was soft and dense and the filling was the full of flavor and not too sweet. I would eat these every day.

One Pico
Dublin
04/12/2024: The star of the menu is dessert-passion fruit souffle!
10/11/2024: Slightly expensive for lunch but worth every euro! I had the venison option for main course and not being a regular meat eater i found it quite intense but seriously mouthwatering Side dishes were lovely but nothing special. We weren't drinking alcohol as we were all driving so keep in mind as bottles of water are being poured freely......they are NOT free but add quite a lot to the bill....which totaled 100.00 ppl including gratitudlty.

The Little Pig Speakeasy
Dublin
10/12/2024: We booked this just for drinks but I wish I had booked a meal as the food looked amazing. We had so much fun entering (please don't change) it's a great experience and something entertaining. Loved the drinks menu, staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely recomemd when in dublin
28/11/2024: What a great speakeasy experience - the bar is hidden down a closed laneway just off of Wicklow St and getting there is just the start of The Little Pig’s immersion.
Very comprehensive menu, cocktails to please all tastes, staff are more than obliging to find the right cocktail for your tastes/mood. Highly recommend visiting this absolute Dublin gem. 🍸

Shanahan's on The Green
Dublin
26/11/2024: It's been a while, but I've been there four times and each time it's been an experience. Steaks fantastic, side dishes or wines simply fantastic. You definitely pay for the service and the ambience. During my visits there were muffins filled with cheese and butter first. Guys, I've never eaten anything like that before or since. And before that, a nice gin and tonic in the cellar. Simply worth the trip.
22/10/2024: Still one of my all time favourites. This place delivers consistently good food and the staff are great. Any time I've been there it has been busy. Bar downstairs is staffed by real bar men who know their trade.
John often says makes his way around the tables at the weekend too which is a nice touch.
A must for a treat in my opinion.
