The best restaurants in Dublin

06/03/2026: I love this place. Omar and hazel are my favourite workers here, they make me feel so welcome. The food here is to die for and the authentic Portuguese atmosphere makes for a lively, comfortable experience. My favourite resteraunt.

14/03/2026: This is such an excellent restaurant. Really nice ambience inside. The staff are always attentive and friendly. The food is beautiful. Have eaten there and had takeouts many times and never been disappointed. It’s getting better as time goes on and great value for money. They often add nice little touches at the end of meals, like a drink on the house. As well as a loyalty reward for takeaway. And most recently, they extended a voucher I had to allow me to use it. Really top class all round. Highly recommend it.

20/02/2026: Frozen fish with a mealy texture, swimming in oil. This isn't a restaurant, it's a canteen.

16/02/2026: This is a hidden gem. We wanted an authentic Irish Breakfast before we left town and were not disappointed! The staff and environment are humble but wonderful. A beautiful representation of Irish hospitality on our way out of town.

14/03/2026: After flights canceled.. Rebooked have to change to 2 layovers almost missing my prepaid guided tour. Having nothing because the airport lost my luggage..ON MY BIRTHDAY mind you... All my preparations for my birthday dinner.. New outfit new camera all clothes toiletries etc.. Lost and all I get is a shrug.. oh well..I was a bit bummed... Then I check in to Clontarf!!!! This guy was AMAZING!!! He wasn't only kind at check in. He was thoughtful. He brought me Prucecco and chocolates.. and even a toothbrush and tooth paste kit.. You sir saved the day!! Thank you so much for just being kind!!

11/03/2026: Food drink rooms all good let down by reception staff not setting up our request properly a bit annoying as we had to pay at bar as room not linked to voucher

07/01/2026: We stopped here for lunch after visiting the Kilmainham Gaol, on the way to the Guinness Storehouse. Service was friendly and prompt. My Napoli panini (basically eggplant parm with pesto) was excellent; the pesto was terrific. My ginger carrot soup was good, but a hair on the bland side for my taste. My wife's margarita pizza slice was good, very cheesy. Her salad was OK, but some of the lettuce seemed a little old. The decor is fun. A bottle of water and glasses was already set when we sat down. We'd definitely return.

20/12/2025: The only place to find the true taste of Italy in the area! Fantastic spaghetti bolognese, mouthwatering bruschettas - and plenty more, always made with the best, fresh ingredients. An absolute must in D8!

18/03/2026: The best Irish breakfast I had during my stay in Ireland! The staff is really nice, the food is delicious and the place is cosy. It’s a must visit if you’re looking for a traditional Irish breakfast in the capital city 😊

18/03/2026: Stumbled across this cafe as the reviews were great, the host was very accommodating seating 6 of us for Breakfast along with some good banter. A well cooked full Irish breakfast did the job. Thanks guys

04/03/2026: Very good authentic Mexican food. Had the tacos and they were delicious, very light, and full of flavours. The Mexican soft drink was a nice surprise, enjoyed that, but be warned they are very sweet.

08/03/2026: We come here always when we are here visiting for the rugby. I wanted to show off to my Irish friends how when you are not in Italy that you can have a wonderful pizza! It didn't work! We arrived, sat down & were told that there is no more pizza here. We were hungry so we stayed & had a very good dinner, but now also much more expensive menu. I don't know other than what the waiter told us, but in all our opinion, this is probably a mistake. Julio (from Milano)
