29/03/2025: Got a delivery tonight. driver picked up at 8:00. Got here for 8:45 freezing cold. The burgers all stacked on theirs sides so the sauces leaked out into the bag and onto the other items. My son found a hair in his dip when he opened it. Never again!

I was visiting from the UK and I overheard who I’m assuming are the senior members of staff speaking to the younger staff members in an extremely rude, dismissive and aggressive manner. Steer clear of this place! I don’t endorse places where the treatment of staff is like that. STAY AWAYYY

05/04/2025: We went to that place for a night out . The music wasn’t very good but we are so happy we meet one of the security. J oh think his name was Utku we ask him for some recommendations and he was so helpful, nice and polite. We totally recommend a stop over there for a drink and shout out to Utku ! You’re the best !

21/03/2025: Lively bar with eclectic victorian fair, almost dungeon-like with its church pews and hanging caged skeletons. Pints are always pleasantly cold and service is prompt, but expect queues when it's busy in the evening and especially on weekends.

01/04/2025: Really enjoyed our lunch here on a lovely sunny day. Tried something new for once in the Fried Chicken with Waffles and was pleasantly surprised. I really liked the menu here and am really looking forward to going back to try new things. Seems like every lunch/brunch spot has the same few items but Farmer Browns really bucks that trend. Can't recommend it anymore highly.

31/03/2025: We had chicken and waffles and eggs benedict. The waffles was way too sweet for me. The flavor of the bacon and chicken was good! But the chicken was a bit overcooked. The eggs benedict was good. The hollandaise sauce was great!

27/03/2025: Lovely place, not like oversized stores like B&Q and woodies etc. It's a nice quiet relaxing atmosphere, also lovely cafe run by lovely people, my mother and I are in regularly for a coffee and a piece of cake, it's nice to be remembered and get a hello and how are you, Update--> Thur 27th March. Went in today and ordered coffees and tried to order 2 scones only to be told they had none left. Got 2 cakes instead even though we ideally wanted the scones as not as heavy as cream cakes, about half an hour I hear oh here ( blank ) here's your coffee and YOUR SCONE, after asking a staff member I was told "oh he ordered it ahead of time" Not once have I ever seen this option displayed, obviously only for a favoured few, We have been in almost every day for the past year and a half and always spend at least €40 per time, My mam really likes the place but understand this, if it were just me I would never set foot back,

15/03/2025: We had a beautiful Moroccan night! The starter Kimroun is absolutely delicious and appetizing! The mint tea is so special as well. Will definitely come back for another time.

31/03/2025: After a day out at the beach, with my friend we were hungry and we went to kodiak bc a friend of ours recomended it. It was quite late, like 9:30 I think so we went in and and ask the bartender if they were still serving food and he said they do pizzas until 10 so we were ok. We sat down and the waiter came straight away to take the order, we ordered a pizza and 2 paints, and then we saw another table we liked more so we asked him if we could move and he said no problem so we moved (before he even placed the order in their till as far as I remember) and even the drinks were brought to our new table. And then we waited for almost 40 minutes when we realised that we’ve been waiting for so long and that it was weird because their kitchen closed 8 minutes ago at that time. Now I know we should have asked earlier, but since we are waitresses as well we didn’t want to rush anybody because having to wait is normal when you go out for food. Well, we asked another waiter (because ours dissapeared after taking our order) if it was everything ok with our pizza and he went straight to ask the other staff. No one knew what was going on, and then a woman that I assume that was the manager (because she acted like one and faced us when we weren’t her table) came to us to apologise and said that she would try to ask the kitchen if they could do something for us and I was not surprised when she came back and said that the kitchen wouldn’t do anything and said that it was a misscomunication between the kitchen and them, and I don’t think she tried to blame us but she said something about the fact that we moved tables, but I told her that it didn’t make much sense because the waiter knew that we were moving tables, anyway she was nice to us and at least comped our drinks and gave us some olives to eat something, and apologised again. Of course the experience wasn’t completely nice because I left that place the same way I went in: hungry and also frustraded because I don’t live in the area, and I really wanted to try the nice pizzas my friend said they do and going to Rathmines is not a thing I do often. But at the same time the experience wasn’t completely bad either because the woman was nice to us and did what she could at that moment, and the beer and olives were good I’d say. I know mistakes happen but it would be good for either staff and customers that in a nice, busy and big place like your bar you guys could improve the communication with the kitchen staff. I hope when I try again this place it will be better! :)

02/04/2025: Incredibly delicious food, friendly people, a great atmosphere and beautiful decor, and the cocktails and food aren't too expensive. Be careful, the entrance is hidden, so it's worth looking for!

28/02/2025: Wasted painful 7.70 for coffee and cookie croissant. It was too dry and over done.. Coffee is probably a dark roast. Didn't taste good as its competitive around the corner. I wont recommend. It all looks fancy on social media /tiktok or insta. Coffee was too hot.

27/02/2025: This place has amazing food, baked goods and service! The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the overall atmosphere and surroundings are amazing! I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place to relax and enjoy some coffee 💯
