The best restaurants in Dublin

01/09/2026: Wow. What a vibey space with lovely staff. I don't know how else to say it - the pour-over I had was one of the best I've ever had. I think it easily shamed the $25 pourover I had at (each) Tanat in Paris. 😅 If you like coffee, and an extra smile to start your day, this is an easy choice.

04/09/2026: Great ambiance and exceptional food. The ribeye was really tender and flavourful. I do prefer just a grilled steak, however the sauce that is served with it was very good. The place was comfortable and had a good vibe for a nice night out for dinner.

26/08/2026: The curry laksa noodles were amazing; their fresh noodles made the taste completely different from other shops. The little shop was spotless, and their milk tea even used fresh milk – it tasted fantastic! It's located diagonally opposite Penneys Shop in Dunlaoghaire, super easy to find.

17/09/2026: I don’t usually write reviews, but I had to say something about this place! 😍😍😍 Went in with friends last night and loved the place straight away. The atmosphere is so nice and relaxed, just a really lovely place to sit and have a proper catch-up. The drinks were SO good — Passion Fruit Mojito and I Pink I Love You. Both delicious! 🍹 We ordered Pil Pil Prawns, Salad, Fried Chicken Wings, Seafood Linguine and Fish & Chips… and somehow still had room for the Cheesecake 😂Everything was just so good. Like, every time another dish came out we were like, “oh wow, this is good too!” 😍And guess what? I didn’t take a single photo 😂 I was way too busy eating and chatting with my friend! Definitely going back. There’s still loads I want to try, so I’ll be back for sure. ❤️

12/09/2026: I loved everything. We ordered prawns in pil-pli sauce as a starter, followed by mussels (which were delicious—they had a coconut roquefort sauce that really enhanced the dish) and excellent seafood pasta. 10 out of 10

20/09/2026: Food was ok but we found rude to bring us the bill even tho we had not asked for it... and it's not like we were blocking other clients (had been there for 45 minutes top and half the tables were empty..). The waitress even came back and asked "cash or card ?".. 😒

12/09/2026: The lunch menu was delicious!! The carvery roast beef and gravy was amazing. Great value and amazing service. It got very busy around 1pm but it's a large venue.

13/08/2026: This pub probably has the best food in all of Ireland. We had the Irish trio of fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and lamb stew. Everything was incredibly delicious! You wouldn't expect to find such a good place in the heart of Dublin, a place that isn't just for tourists but actually values ​​good food! Delicious food at typical Irish prices and super friendly staff! Highly recommended!

31/07/2026: Phenomenal! Our server immediately identified which menu items were available gluten free. We tried four items and each was better than the last. Also bonus points for a great playlist of early 2000s hits.

26/07/2026: I took my 13 year old niece for a surprise birthday there last night. We loved everything about it. Delicious chicken and mocktails. Maru, our waitress was fabulous, really made my niece feel so special, we can't wait to go back again.

24/08/2026: A bit disappointing, after reading the positive reviews. Tempura tasted good but was a little greasy. A noodle dish was uninspired. The sushi/sashimi was generally convincing, with the salmon standing out as the best, the soft-shell crab in a Maki role not entirely fresh tasting. Sake was good and well priced. Nothing really terrible, but did not meet my expectations.

07/09/2026: I stayed here for one night in late August. The quality and especially consistency was better than several 5-star hotels I've stayed at in Europe. My room was well-accommodated and perfectly clean. The AC (which I didn't particularly need that time of year) works very well. Bathtubs in every room is a huge plus, and is the main reason I chose this hotel. I decided to go for the breakfast buffet (17 pounds when booked the day before) and it was definitely worth it. (Typical hot breakfast items, cut fruits, yogurt, juices, pastries, and cappuccinos/any other hot beverage to-order.) The location is perfect for exploring Dublin, very centrally located (walking distance to Trinity College, St Stephen's Green, Little Museum of Dublin, Grafton St, etc.) and for anything further away, you can access public transit easily. Also, the airport express bus has stops close by. (But note that if you are two or more people, it is actually cheaper to get a taxi/rideshare, since the bus ticket is 15 pounds.) I managed to get a very good last-minute deal and the standard prices are a bit out of what I would normally go for, but I will very seriously consider staying here the next time I'm in Dublin because the stay was just that good! Btw, if you like sushi I highly recommend the counter service place Sushi & Go right around the corner. I have lived all over the US and it had some of the most creative and best quality sushi I've ever had. The one thing I'll note is that the hotel is next door to a homeless charity center, and there are queues of homeless people at mealtimes. However, they seemed friendly and orderly and I wasn't bothered (just surprised/confused at first.)

18/07/2026: I checked out of this wonderful hotel today following a 5 night stay with my daughter.. i cannot fault our time here. The service we received from arrival to departure was exemplary and we felt very looked after. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff are so lovely and helpful. The rooms are lovely, and fresh and cleaned daily The location is perfect for getting around. I would not hesitate to book again.
