Wynn's Hotel
Dublin
19/05/2026: Best hotel experience of my life ^^ Staying at the Wynn's is a real treat! The hotel is beautiful and extremely well located, the rooms are clean and well-equipped, and what can I say about the staff…! Special mention to Dani and Dave (night shift). They are simply extraordinary. Helpful, accommodating, funny… I'm running out of compliments!
The breakfast is also incredible, congratulations to the chef for her eggs Benedict!
I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work!
18/05/2026: This was our second stay at this splendid hotel in the heart of Dublin. Its strategic location allows you to walk everywhere in the city center.
The beautiful, welcoming rooms and superb breakfast, along with the kindness, professionalism, and friendliness of the staff, especially at the front desk, make this hotel a choice that exceeded our expectations.
A special thanks to Samuele and our new arrival, Roberta.
Best regards
Antonello, Maida, and Michela

Saddle Room
Dublin
15/04/2026: Fantastic night out for our 25th anniversary.
Service was amazing , they take your coats and make you feel that you are there priority. It.was a Tuesday so fairly quiet but not really surprising with having all the bus and stopparges going on . I could at least talk to my husband without it been to noisy.
The food was very good , we had venison cargars then I had Salmon with a lovely sauce and broccoli My husband got the lamb, he said it was delicious. For dessert I got the creme brulee and my husband got Pavlova ( more meringue than Pav ).
We also had a lovely bottle of wine from NZ (Hunter Malborough wine. )
Service was second to none ,not one complaint. They even gave us a plate of delectable desserts with Haapy anniversary on the plate. A very thoughtful touch.
I recommend the Shelbourne saddle room for an experience you won't regret.
Thank you for the young man who served us .

Milano
Dublin
03/06/2026: We had pizza, drinks, and dessert. It was a great atmosphere and we did outdoor dining. Busy but we were still able to be seated quickly. The food was delicious and service was excellent.
23/05/2026: Milano is a perfectly decent option for a casual pizza stop near the office.
The service was friendly and courteous, which immediately set a pleasant tone, and the location is genuinely convenient for anyone working nearby, with the added bonus of an external patio for warmer days.
The pizza itself was fine, but not especially memorable. It did the job without disappointing, yet it lacked a distinct personality and depth of flavour that would make me want to seek it out again. In that sense, it sits comfortably in the middle: neither bad nor particularly exciting.
Service times were acceptable overall, though they ran a little longer than I expected. Nothing felt rushed or poorly handled, but the pace could be improved slightly for a lunch break crowd. For a place aimed at office workers, efficiency matters almost as much as quality.
In short, Milano offers a friendly experience in a practical location, with enough competence to satisfy but not enough character to leave a lasting impression. It is a solid, unremarkable pizza place that works well when convenience matters more than culinary distinction.

Castle Vaults
Dublin
13/05/2026: We enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Castle Hotel. In addition to being an impressive building with attractive and comfortable sitting areas, the staff were absolutely wonderful. We loved the location and walked everywhere. We loved our quiet room and the amazing breakfast, which included fantastic coffee. Thank you to everyone at Castle Hotel!
13/05/2026: We booked two single beds and received a super cozy room with a queen-size bed and a single bed; we slept like royalty. We especially appreciated the additional reading lamps above the bed, which is a rare find. The bathroom was large, modern, and had built-in shelving, so there was plenty of storage space and no need to search for where to put everything. We were able to get a hairdryer immediately when we needed one.
Breakfast offered everything you could want, and the Irish tea was particularly delicious. The breakfast rooms, with their several partitioned alcoves, have a charming atmosphere, as do the lounges with their English/Irish furniture.
All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
There's a large luggage storage room where we could leave our bags upon arrival, as check-in isn't until 3 pm. The same applies on the day of departure – check-out is at noon, and the luggage can remain there all day if, like us, you're flying back in the evening.
... The hotel's location is excellent; it's about a 20-minute walk straight ahead across one of the many bridges over the River Liffey, then turn right to reach the Temple Bar district.
Everything was perfect, nothing but praise.

Igo Inn
Dublin
12/05/2026: emailed them first but no reply
Hi Eamon,
I didn't want to post a review without giving you the right of reply but I am afraid I must bring this to your attention.
I would be a regular enough customer, certainly once a month for drinks and food and usually more.
Anyway, I arrived in yesterday around 16:45 and ordered a pint of Rockshore lager (see attached picture of it) and the mushroom soup and special.
1. The soup was cold
2. The special (chicken sizzler) was nice but the girl forgot to tell me the iron plate was scalding and I burnt 2 of my fingers badly in a vain attempt to lift it and scoop onto the plate with the rice
3. My sorry pint you can judge for yourself.
Paid my bill (was $32, gave 40 and said keep the change, the girl looked at me as if I had robbed her purse.
There was a family with 3 young kids in the area behind me. The 3 kids roared and screamed for the 50 minutes I was in there. And I mean roared the house down.
No one said a word. I ended up leaving.
Anyway that's my tale of woe.
You guys are better than that. I know it because i have always loved going in there
23/04/2026: Only a 14min walk from Killiney Dart station. Great Guinness and service, very clean boozer.

Musashi
Dublin
24/05/2026: Absolutely delicious food! Fast and friendly service. Good place for company lunch gathering !
highly recommend!
20/05/2026: Genuinely the most disgusting fried tofu I have ever had.
I got the tofu katsu curry, and not only was the outside mushy because they poured the (very bland) katsu all over the top of it, the batter was undercooked to the point of it being a dark stretchy goop like the inside of those old alien toy pods, and worst of all it wasn't even battered correctly because the inside was literal slime.
It was so full of oil that the tofu fell apart in wet, slimy little chunks. It was genuinely inedible and made me feel sick. I have NEVER had tofu that bad before, and I have never sent food back and asked for a refund before this.
I know it must be an issue with the chef, because I've had the exact same dish at Musashi in Swords and enjoyed it! That's why I thought to order it again here.
The chef also argued with the poor server who brought the food back and told her to come back out and tell us that he hadn't cooked it wrong because "the oil was the right temperature", as if that's the only thing that could have possibly dictated the quality of the food.
My partner ordered the vegan ramen, which she has also had before in Swords and enjoyed, and it was so totally bland that she couldn't keep eating it. She also sent her food back.
I had heard from someone else that they hated the Musashi tofu and refused to eat it because it was so slimy, and I couldn't understand why they'd think that until I had this experience and realised it must have been this restaurant that they had been to.
Do not come here for vegetarian food.
