The best restaurants in Dublin

22/07/2025: A warm little place with a great atmosphere. We stopped without wanting to and it was a great surprise to eat something delicious here and have a cold drink by the river in front. Lots of sun and a nice place.

22/07/2025: We had a GREAT time here. We met our tour guide, Conor, for a “pint” after our trip to Cliffs of Moher. We ate, drank, laughed. The bartender and waiter were equally as much fun and very attentive. I think we just made new friends!

26/07/2025: Delicious buttery lobster and prawns and great service. Getting back home without sleeping was a struggle. Have been here multiple times and will mostly likely be back.

05/07/2025: A wonderful place to get together with friends. The atmosphere is relaxed, the service is great and the food is excellent. The venue has a range of different rooms each with its own unique atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

02/07/2025: Celebrated a friend’s 90th Birthday at lunch in Gleesons today. So easy to park and we had a lovely quiet table for 6! Our waitress Fiona was most helpful and welcoming ⭐ and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank You Gleesons Your restaurant is a real gem 💎 !

23/07/2025: Lovely bar with a huge beer garden, the staff are lovely and there’s a great selection of drinks (not just beer, lots of different ciders and hard seltzers too)

29/06/2025: Had a coffee stop at Aon sceal cafe. The coffee was lovely. I was dissapointed there were no caramel squares available they are absolutely gorgeous. Hopefully next time they will be back in stock.

25/05/2025: Went her before a mass. Place is lovely with a lot of Irish signs. It's nice to see they are working to popularize the language & they patiently wait as I tried to pronounce Gaeilge, poorly of couse. (I'll do better next time).

15/07/2025: We went on a tour and were recommended to eat at any FX Buckley steakhouse if we could. It just so happened that we walked past Bull & Castle on my husband's birthday and decided to stop in. We were advised that there weren't any tables available, however, they offered a limited menu on the top floor which included some of their steak options. We decided to give it a try. We ordered appetizers which were pretty good, (sausage and the beef croquets) although portions were scarce. For dinner we ordered two ribeye dinners and a hamburger. The ribeyes were terrible. They were tough and chewy. We were completely disappointed. The hamburger was good. The best thing about this place were their fries, believe it or not. They are very thick cut but unlike mushy steak fries, they were fried to perfection and very delicious. The waiter was a bit standoffish at first, but, he was actually quite friendly as the dinner went on and had a pleasant conversation with us. I'd like to point out that I never really leave reviews, especially negative ones. However, I think it's necessary to inform when places like this have steep prices and pride themselves on a very niche menu. Overall, as a family, we decided that this place was overrated and not worth the money spent on our meal.

14/07/2025: The place overlooks Christchurch with a great view. I order the 16oz bone-in sirloin – excellent meat (highly recommended), although slightly on the salty side, as were the onions served on the side. A more self-managed approach to seasoning would be better. Average-priced bill. Recommended.

27/07/2025: En comparación con mi experiencia en Dublín, ahora puedo ver por qué Bunsen es tan apreciado en el mundo de las hamburguesas. Pero... no puede IT honrarlo con cinco macarrones. Lo visité un domingo por la tarde. El domingo después del Día del Orgullo. IT era tranquilo, y había muchas mesas abiertas. Los servidores eran muy agradables, y la comida estaba perfectamente cocinada y entregada rápidamente. No puedo decir específicamente por qué no puedo darle un 5 / 5 IT ; mis estándares de hamburguesas son altos. IT estaba justo ahí arriba tocando a la puerta para una puntuación perfecta. A cada uno lo suyo, pero IT *simplemente* falló la marca.

06/07/2025: Fabulous service--everyone here is incredibly kind. Focuses on local, organic foods, and has a couple vegan options too. Coffee is excellent. Speed of service is good, even when they are busy. It is a nice indoor space as well. Highly recommend.

30/07/2025: A three-star hotel that deserves its four stars, right in the heart of Dublin, just a 20-minute bus ride from the airport. Clean, quiet, and soundproofed rooms. Friendly staff. Excellent on-site restaurant.

29/07/2025: This hotel has a very good location and is ideal for visiting by car, thanks to its private parking. The rooms are comfortable and quite spacious. The common areas are quite nice, and the staff is attentive and professional. The location is particularly noteworthy, as you can reach most of the major tourist attractions on foot.

16/07/2025: Every time I come here the food gets better and better, I have traveled around the world,. Personally this reminds me of Italy but better. Highly recommend

14/07/2025: The most amazing Italian food any of us have eaten outside of Italy (and better than many meals eaten in Italy). We had the 3 course dinner menu and all courses were increble. The sticky toffee pudding was absolutely amazing. We stumbled upon here by accident but so glad we did, one of the best meals eaten out in a long time.

12/07/2025: Pobre en cuanto a la bebida, nos dijeron que no tenían botellas grandes, media hora después, ¡y he aquí que sí! Botellas grandes, era una noche de mala muerte, así que creo que hay más beneficio en vender botellas más pequeñas, además una mujer que luchaba con un palo fue puesta en medio del restaurante aunque otras mesas eran más adecuadas para que ella llegara, Milano conoce a sus clientes, no es ciencia espacial, no es genial esta vez.
