Oliver St John Gogarty
Dublin
22/03/2026: Amazing pub! 😍 Fantastic live band and great atmosphere! Great selection of drinks. Mixed crowd.
19/03/2026: On a recent visit to Dublin, this bar was our favourite! In the heart of the Temple Bar neighborhood, the atmosphere was lively, music was superb, and Gabriella the bartender remembered us from the previous day and made us feel like “regulars”! Nice people serving up a fun time! 🍻 🇨🇦 🇮🇪

Yang Guo Fu Ma La Tang 杨国福麻辣烫
Dublin
04/10/2025: Ordered beef chow mein yesterday and it’s fair to say Íve never been so disappointed in food in my life. This is what I got: 2 small pieces of beef that seemed like they got lost in this massive block of dry noodles. I didn’t have any sauces at home but I would’ve put ketchup in there, that’s how dry the pasta tasted and how desperate I was. Lowkey killed my vibe:/
04/10/2025: We ordered take away Beef Chow Mein yesterday, and it was so so dry. We were extremely disappointed by the fact that we had been waiting about an hour and then gotten super dry noodles. There was also almost no beef in one of our orders. Won’t recommend the noodles at least.

Vietnom
Dublin
11/11/2025: This is a short, simple menu, but is a delicious food. We had the pork sandwich and the Chicken rice bowl.
Very friendly service too.
It helps that you can enjoy it in the relaxing confines of the The Glimmer Man.
05/09/2025: Ridiculous good. It is behind the pub, very good flavour with a fair price.

01/02/2026: Went with my parents and had a great time. Pretty busy but nothing can change that and my mom and I both got fantastic burgers and my dad got the wings. Wings were pretty good but that burger was a different story it was really good and juicy and one of the best burgers I’ve had in Ireland.

STREET 66
Dublin
15/03/2026: I visited this bar because it was recommended by an Irish friend. At first it looked like a nice place, but unfortunately the experience became disappointing. I ordered an Aperol Spritz for €13 and the glass was entirely filled with ice. Paying that price for what is mostly ice is already questionable. My second drink was made by a Brazilian bartender. I politely asked if he could use less ice and he made a very good Aperol Spritz. He was friendly, professional, and clearly knew what he was doing.
Unfortunately, the third drink was made by the first bartender and it was terrible. It barely tasted like an Aperol Spritz and was basically sparkling water. When things became quieter, I politely asked if she could remake the drink because it clearly wasn’t right. She refused and said those were their measurements. She even said I didn’t have to pay for it, but that is not really the point. I would have preferred a properly made drink.
An Aperol Spritz is one of the simplest cocktails to make and the classic recipe is well known: three parts Prosecco, two parts Aperol and one part soda water.
What disappointed me most was the attitude. In a bar, especially one that presents itself as welcoming and social, friendliness and customer care should be part of the job. Fixing a bad drink should not be a problem.
For my first time in Dublin this was unfortunately not a good experience and I would not recommend this bar. It is not about the price, it is about the quality and the service you receive.
Ps: The Brazilian bartender who made my second drink was excellent and deserves recognition.
08/03/2026: I visited here last Saturday to be refused entry from the bouncer because there was a ‘private party’, I mean.. the whole place was booked out for a private party? Go on with yourself 😅
I must not look like a stereotypical lesbian (this appears to be a recurring theme judging from the other reviews!). I won’t come here again.
Anyway, I was here before and it’s only ok.

Canoe Centre
Dublin
18/11/2025: For years, the canoe centre has been my go-to supplier for all things kayaking, providing the essential gear for both my personal adventures and for the youth organisation I work for. I've bought everything from "tip to toe," and the level of service has never wavered.
The staff are phenomenal first dealing with Shane & Ciaran to the last couple of years with Hugh they have consistently offered knowledgeable and supportive assistance.
The online shop is very user-friendly, stocking strong, quality brands that focus on depth of quality.
A recent experience highlights their exceptional commitment: When a package went missing after posting, the team at the canoe centre put my needs foremost and promptly dispatched a second package before the original was relocated by An Post. This kind of proactive, customer-first service is why I continue to go back.
No matter the size of the purchase, I always feel valued and acknowledged. An absolutely stellar sales and support service. Highly recommended.
04/11/2025: Fantastic Level 2 Kayaking Course with Keith! Keith was amazing — patient, knowledgeable, and knew exactly when to push us (and when not to!). We (Carmel and Sarah) were the two oldest in the group, with one of us new to kayaking, but he made it fun, supportive, and full of laughs. The group was an added bonus — we’re now all on WhatsApp calling ourselves The Liffey Lickers! Can’t wait for our next river trip with Keith to build on everything we learned.

Wall & Keogh Superior Teas
Dublin
02/01/2026: Quality product. Great Quality Tea, really great Food. The Cake I had (Coffee Cake) is the best quality Coffee Cake I have ever had. How this place does not have long line outside?, or maybe it does I just got lucky, another customer told me it gets really busy at weekends so go duing the no popular times to get a seat and chill. I will ceratinly be back. Loved it.
01/01/2026: I ordered some loose leaf decaf tea a couple of days ago. I was very pleasantly surprised to receive my order the next day, I had not expected to receive it until after the Christmas break and the prompt delivery was very much appreciated. Tasty decaf teas are hard to come by. My previous supplier ceased trading recently and the prospect of looking for a new one felt daunting. I ordered samples from a few online shops and Wall & Keogh is a clear winner. I will be back for more soon!

Golden Elephant
Dublin
24/03/2026: Take away today was not great. Chicken very dry and bland.
My Coke was from Denmark and dated 2022. Certainly not 2022 prices at €30 for a starter and main with rice and delivery.
19/03/2026: I usually order takeaway from here, so I can’t really comment on the dine-in atmosphere—but the food and service have consistently been five stars every time.
Tonight, though, I felt they really deserved a special mention. Annie went above and beyond with my delivery—arriving in record time (honestly the fastest I’ve ever had!) and being so friendly and pleasant to deal with. It made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommend—reliable, delicious, and great customer service.

DARUMA
Dublin
05/10/2025: A small but very cozy Japanese restaurant with 10/10 service and a very interesting and varied menu. The portions are somewhat small but packed with flavor. We tried three different dishes, and all were delicious. They serve a rather expensive Waygu beef dish, which I haven't tried yet. I'll try it next time. Highly recommended for couples or with friends.
04/10/2025: The food is really good and a great representation of the Japanese cooking style. The staff are nice and friendly. The restaurant is built very neat and it also reminded me of a traditional Japanese restaurant
