24/12/2025: The worst take away in the village, the food is terrible. I ordered hot & spicy wings and I got home to find out they gave me some sort if manky bbq muck. The other meals are watery, tasteless & disgusting. The first & last time I'll be eating from that kip

17/01/2026: Where do I start never one to leave a review but the service was appalling, waiting 25 minutes seated for our order to be taken and 3 separate people walk in and get seated and served straight away so I decided to ask can we order as it's been 25 minutes already if I hadn't of asked the lady we would be left sitting there. We then get told there was no breakfast left even tho the previous 3 other people had all just ordered deluxe and large breakfast not even moments ago to be told there is none left disgraceful service to say the least will never be returning again.

28/12/2025: Had Sunday lunch here today with family and the food was incredible! 10/10! The service also amazing and ambiance great. We will definitely be back ❤️

13/11/2025: Visited on Sunday for my birthday, it's been on the list for some time. It was a lovely meal but I expected more, maybe because it was the Sunday lunch menu it was very basic/simple food done well. I had the fish for main which was bland but the sides were great, the dessert was disappointing and more geared for kids. That being said the venue is lovely and the service was excellent from all members of staff. Overall I was underwhelmed and did not find it value for money hence would be reluctant to return

10/01/2026: Myself and my partner ordered 2 fish and chips last week, we were both violently sick the next day, of was the only meal we had together in the lead up and doctor confirmed it was food poisoning from here due to the timeline. When I spoke to the man (bald, early 50s) he refused to accept any responsibility and became aggressive in front of other customers in the shop. I would avoid if I were you.

01/12/2025: Fish and chips very fresh very nice. Smoked fish was not my preference but was nice

08/01/2026: Very tasty food at reasonable prices given the cost of eating out. Service was also very good with us never having to wait for anything. It's the sort of place I would visit again.

05/01/2026: If there were 6 stars available , Id select 6. The food in Kajjal is simply unbeatable, the staff are very attentive but also cognisant of letting you have peace as well. Cant recommend Kajjal enough and look forward to next visit.

05/01/2026: Delivery. Two bad experiences in a row unfortunately for them. The duck for the pancakes this time was into pieces . Some too cooked (burnt even), others cold and almost raw. Very bad experiences.

05/12/2025: Best pizza in Balbriggan area by a country mile. It’s the only place that uses fresh ingredients, and the customer service and delivery is second to none.
