16/03/2025: On the fence between 3/4 stats but the service let me down. Beautiful sea view room with incredible view. Everything new and fresh. Reception was cold on check in and check out, not very welcoming. Had issues in the car park too, just all seemed a little rough around the edges with efficiency and training. Has the potential to be a premium 4-Star just needs a little more ‘hospitality’.

08/03/2025: Last night was absolutely unforgettable at Portmarnock Hotel! My group of friends and I decided to unwind at the Jameson Bar, and we couldn’t have had a better experience. Our waitress, Aoibheann, was simply brilliant attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable. She made excellent recommendations and ensured our glasses were never empty, all while adding a personal touch that made us feel like VIPs. The ambiance of the Jameson Bar perfectly complemented the top-notch service, making it a night full of laughter, great conversation, and lasting memories. Kudos to Aoibheann for going above and beyond, and to the entire Portmarnock team for creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone

19/12/2024: We had our Christmas party for the 3rd time there! Food was good as always, but the music wasn't as good as previous years, and one of the bartenders had a bit of an attitude at some point! Overall it was a good experience, and we are looking forward to finding out what's coming next year! P.S.: Ruaidhri was there for us every year for our Christmas parties, making sure that we are having the best experience, so we do hope that we will see him there again in the new wrights adventure!

15/12/2024: Nice small cosy pub with two bar areas. The crowd was mostly older with a few younger folk there too. Plenty of screens and a good place to watch the match while having a chat. Easy parking directly across the road in the village castle car park place. Very good pints of Guinness zero. Creamy.

08/03/2025: The pizzas here are really tasty , but very overpriced . If you want to add toppings to a margarita pizza you need to order the ‘DIY’ pizza which is €1.50 more ( for the exact same pizza ). Paying over €20 for a pizza with pineapple and mushroom is just crazy in my opinion. It would be great to see some more vegetarian options with toppings included so customers aren’t forced into paying €1.50 extra for a pizza to then pay €2.50 each for veg toppings .

The seating area is spacious and comfortable, making for a relaxed and enjoyable experience. The customer service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Plus, the cleanliness of the entire place, including the toilets, is impeccable. If you're looking for a spot that delivers excellence in every aspect, this is it. Highly recommended!

27/01/2025: Toilets are a disgrace. Filthy & stinking. Toilet seat broken in the disabled toilet as well, which could cause a big issue for disabled persons. Consistently one of the highest fuel prices in County Dublin too. Avoid.

01/03/2025: Our favourite breakfast spot in Skerries. Can't go wrong with a medium fry or Pancakes. Lily and Barry are a great team and all servers make sure you're well looked after.

01/04/2025: Had an Americano and a Caesar salad, they were both really nice, staff were pretty friendly and welcoming, would .ost definitely come back to try other options for sure!

22/03/2025: If I could give a minus one I would oh my God my sister and I went in there looking forward to a bit of grub 1st of all she asked for a potato hash with sausage. Came out no Sausage on the dish. 2nd of all toilets out of order and my sister couldn't use the facilities as she needs to use it frequently. But all and all bad service and bad all together.
