21/02/2026: The whole experience was great. Staff were fantastic, very friendly, efficient and a pleasure to be served by them. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was outstanding, the flavours were unbelievable the wine choice was good. It will be a pleasure to go again, hopefully soon. Would highly recommend a visit to sample the great food and wine.

24/02/2026: As an east Asian I am very cautious with such “fusion” restaurant but I wouldn’t consdrr this one bad. Went there for lunch so no two-way pigeon but the deer at lunch is also in 2 way which is nice. Charsiu is a bit weird if you are familar with Cantonese food. The dessert and coffee is great. Yuzu taste authentic.

01/04/2026: Loved the whole experience. Great spot to take our teenagers and have them experience a high end meal without the stuffiness that usually comes with exceptional dining. One of the highlights of our Ireland trip.

22/02/2026: Had a gorgeous meal here last night with family. I had goats cheese for starter and monkfish for my main. Both were absolutely beautiful. I cannot speak highly enough about the staff. Welcoming, friendly, very helpful, and make a great Baileys coffee. Highly recommend La Côte.

16/02/2026: I had a fantastic experience at La Côte. The food was excellent — the portions might look small at first, but they’re incredibly flavourful and surprisingly filling. I ordered a side of potato gratin with my main, and although it arrived just 3–5 minutes late, the team handled it brilliantly. They didn’t charge me for it, and even offered complimentary desserts on the house. That level of care really shows how much they value their customers and respect their time. The staff were polite, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming throughout the meal. If you’re a seafood lover, I’d highly recommend this restaurant. A wonderful dining experience from start to finish.

12/04/2026: The food was wonderful, really tasty and well presented. (the pork bite starter was a bit boring in comparison to all the other wonderful dishes, but well cooked and balanced). The atmosphere was great, we were close to the guitar player but the music wasn't intrusive at all, we enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly, efficient and had a good sense of humour. Love that they have a list of their staff members and suppliers in the menu. Great selection of local alcohol too.

09/04/2026: Absolutely fantastic. We visit this gem on the banks for the Shannon 5-6 times each year. One word - consistent. Consistently great food. Consistently great staff. Consistently great ambience. They have won local awards, Provincial awards and it National awards - all thoroughly deserved. One of the best gastropubs in Ireland. On our most recent visit we had the fish tacos, featherblade of beef, seafood chowder, tiramisu with fruit compote and meringue. An excellent wine menu. Wonderful service. And always child friendly. Toilets immaculate. Lovely to see regulars joking with the staff. Log fires. Warm lighting. Warm smiles.

11/11/2025: Great establishment, variety of breakfast/brunch options, and everything is well-made. Customer service is always excellent. Used to go more often with the previous menu that you could make your own breakfast, but still is a great brunch spot.

22/02/2026: Lovely authentic French restaurant. Limited menu offering fish of the day, duck, striploin steak or fillet of beef. If cooked rare, it is very bloody. If well done, it can be cinderised. Medium is a good option. Steak tasty, if a little chewy. Other dishes were nice. The starters in particular were particularly delicious, as were the desserts. Piano was playing in the background over a lot of chatter. Very attentive service from an international staff. Our lovely waitress was from Brittany. Great night overall. Popular and busy. It is important to book. Ideal for that special occasion. Merci à tour!

21/03/2026: First time trying this cafe, as every time I have passed before could not gain entry due to how popular it is 😊 Went on a quieter weekday lunch time and had ham & cheese toastie with a white coffee. My friend had veggie burrito and an iced matcha latte. Food is hearty and coffee is good . Staff friendly indoor and some outdoor seating available also. Good veggie and vegan options.

07/04/2026: We didn't have any booking but the waiter managed to get us a table and we had a great dinner. Many thanks to our waiter for seating us during busy weekend. Excellent and diverse menu! And as the pub is attached to the restaurant, can move to the pub to have a drinks right away! Great spot!

08/03/2026: Me and my wife were treated like royalty by Brid (co-owner) . The meal was amazing, portions were just perfect, the choices on menu were adventurous, we both were full leaving together with a lovely bottle of wine / baileys coffee consumed and the company was amazing also. We had the pleasure of chatting to Gareth after our meal(head chef and co-owner). Lovely people and so down to earth. Guys if want to treat your loved ones to a great night I would recommend Campagne 1 million percent. We will be back definitely. Alan

28/03/2026: randomly found this place while looking for a somewhat quiet place to have dinner (it was football day and half of the city watched the game) both my partner and I had Rabbit Bourguignon and it was delicious! the service was great and the waiter let us take a cheese plate for takeaway (we wanted to have a late night snack haha) lovely!

15/03/2026: Went there for a Mothers Day meal tonight. I couldn't fault anything about it. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. Daniel looked after us and he was very polite, very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. There were a couple of very nice touches for mothers day also. We had a really lovely night and will be back. Thanks so much😁
