15/02/2025: It’s a regular dining spot for us predominantly for the atmosphere and superb food. The team at Dax are always attentive and tuned in to the customers needs. Graham’s creative culinary delights from the kitchen are always superb. And there is never a shortage of delightful wines at whatever price point you choose. Highly recommend for a special occasion or a leisurely lunch.

23/02/2025: When we come Wexford, we try to visit Cote. Perhaps the most reassuring thing about this restaurant over the years is the quality of the food has remained at a high standard. Staff are helpful and pleasant and they have not followed the incredibly annoying and growing trend of interrupting diners while eating to ask whether everything is okay. Bravo ! On our latest visit, my wife had the goat's cheese starter following a pork pie mains. I had the pork belly to start followed by a mains of plaice. All perfectly cooked, flavoured and presented. For the quality of the food and service, Cote is great value. A really excellent meal !

23/03/2025: We celebrated a memorable birthday dinner at Pearl Brasserie, and every dish was an absolute delight. The experience was truly exceptional, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel so welcome. Without a doubt, we’ll be returning—this restaurant is a solid 10/10!

02/03/2025: There were 4 of us adults and two children. Everyone ordered different dishes. And to our surprise, we all hadn't eaten the worst food in a long time. The soup wasn't Chowder, but regular fish soup without cream or milk. The meat was so dry that it resembled a shoe. The burger with a huge uncooked patty was not tasty at all. For the first time, we left the establishment with a misunderstanding as to why we left so much money. After that, we went to Cake me away to at least have some delicious desserts. I don't recommend it!

22/02/2025: This was one of the coldest beers we had in Ireland! Service was professional but not the most attentive as they forgot what we ordered twice! Beef burger wasn’t very tasty, however the pork belly, crispy shrimp and breaded Brie were phenomenal!

Chez Max et Hugo, nous avons dîné le samedi 8 mars 2025, jour de la victoire du XV de France en Irlande, et avons apprécié l'accueil, le service, l'équipe et surtout les plats français avec un verre de vin. C'est ça la France qu'on oublie trop souvent. Alain Courant.

10/03/2025: What a quaint, neat, little place to stop. We were near this wonderful little place to meet our tour guide but had come about an hour early so we wanted to go and enjoy a nice coffee while we waited. The ambiance in this little place is absolutely wonderful and the staff was very friendly and helpful. It is a small place, so keep that in mind, but they also have a very nice outdoor area to sit and enjoy a meal, a cup of coffee or a great glass of wine.

02/02/2025: I ordered myself a Chicken & Beef Fajita that exceeded my expectations. The meat 🍖 was very tender and was cooked to the highest standards. The only issue was the portions size not the biggest for the price you pay.

20/03/2025: We toured castles all day and rolled into town around 8:40, hungry af. We also had been wanting to find something nice, as we all had birthdays recently. The magic of finding Rouge elevated our whole trip to another level. The food was incredible but the service was the most hospitable I have ever had. Arianna was so welcoming and didn’t rush us at all. She saw to it that we felt like we were VIP. We never wanted for anything, and her recommendations were amazing. Richie and Otto were cooking and they had extensive knowledge of the menu and showed such passion for the food. As Richie said “it’s a family and you’re part of it now”. We ordered the beef fillet and the the sirloin but also got the full course. Every single thing was perfect. The pulled beef, the cod balls, the sweet potato, the mushroom 🤤 But again, it was the service that made this experience worth coming back. As long as Arianna is there, I promise to return. Its ear her passion and love for the place are what made it worth writing this review. Thank you Ariana and Rouge! This is the number one place in Galway and will feed you late and make you feel at home!

13/03/2025: We love Rouge, it’s always busy and deserves to be. The menu is small, however what they do they do very well. The amuse bouche to start was plentiful and tasty, we both had fillet steak, perfectly cooked and cut like butter, the dauphinois potatoes rich in cream and garlic and the salad super fresh. We shared the most delicious crème caramel to finish, so light and so tasty. The staff are delightful, the lady in charge was lovely, she worked the restaurant seamlessly and efficiently. The only reason that we have taken one star off is because of a misunderstanding with a dietary requirement which meant that the amuse bouche could only be eaten by one of us. That said, the situation was very professionally dealt with. Highly recommended.

16/03/2025: Tarte Tatin is delicious! We've been coming here for almost 20 years now and has always been a lovely quiet cafe with great atmosphere and food.

09/03/2025: The Nutella crepe is a 10/10. Not too sickly, but plenty of Nutella and a lovely thin crepe! Delish

21/02/2025: The staff are great. The food and drink is overpriced dramatically and there’s zero atmosphere. There’s much better Michelin restaurants I. Dublin.

11/01/2025: Today we had lunch in One Pico. 11–25. Main course and side dish were cold. A lovely piece of pork but taste less. Plate was cold. So food was also cold. . Best part of lunch was the wine and the Irish Coffee. Maybe I expect somuch better from this restaurant but it does not happen. So where do we go to get the best food.?? We have been coming here for decades. It used to be always perfect. No longer so.

11/03/2025: Recently stopped in for a spot of brunch and couldn’t recommend enough! Staff were super friendly and service was so quick! French toast with bacon and maple syrup was great but my eyes were bigger than my belly and couldn’t finish it all, server kindly recommend that I order the smaller kids portion the next time I visit. Looking forward to another visit soon!

11/03/2025: We had the Signature Tasting Menu and it was the most delicious meal we have ever had. Every morsel was extraordinarily delicious. It was a most incredible experience. The service was impeccable too. We could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. Huge thanks to everyone involved. We will be back!

11/02/2025: My birthday. Spoiled rotten by a three course a la carte at the BB. No complaints though as the food and wine were first rate. Pigeon, venison, banana soufflé, crab, duck all top drawer. Only matched by the great service provided by Dianne and Antonio. Thank you. If you have a special occasion (or even if you don’t) then eat here.

27/02/2025: We had a wonderful dinner at Campange.The food was flavoursome,well presentated with good portions.Good wines are well priced by both glass and carafe.Service is both helpful (I'm coeliac) and attentive.The Early Bird at €50 represents excellent value for this level.Recommended.
