30/03/2025: Now, this is a fish foodies paradise!The exterior doesn't give anything away to the culinary fish experience hidden within its walls. It has a great vista of the Wexford Quays.Food was top-notch!Needs to be experienced to be believed. Oh! I nearly forgot ... check out the bread..delious! Service was impeccable and friendly.

17/04/2025: We went to the Oarsman for a family dinner and I cannot recommend it more! The food was incredible, the staff were so helpful, kind and welcoming and as a result we came back again during this short trip for a second time! Thank you for a wonderful night

10/04/2025: This pub shud be on everyone's list as the place to eat. The decor and ambience is teriffic, but the exceptional service from Jidish was 5 star and made the visit. The food was second to none and I wish we lived close enough to eat here all the time. Without doubt the best meal I've had in a long long time.

We were warmly welcomed by Sabrina, whose friendly greeting made us feel right at home. Every staff member on the floor acknowledged us, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance was wonderful—elegant yet cozy, making it the perfect setting for a special occasion. Our waiters, Titouan and Kunal, were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that every detail was just right. The food was simply outstanding—each dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The dessert was just as impressive, the perfect sweet ending to an unforgettable meal. A special thank you to all the staff who sang Happy Birthday to us—it was such a thoughtful touch and made the night even more special! It was truly a memorable dinner, and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, a warm atmosphere, and exceptional service. We’ll definitely be back!

07/05/2025: A friendly and welcoming place, with live music. For dinner we ordered soup, braised Irish lamb shank, a dish that drove me crazy for its textures and flavors, and for dessert, pudding, which was really good. The waitress, a charming Valencian girl, advised and helped us at all times. Looking forward to returning soon!

02/05/2025: I like the Woodford but the food is very poor value. I ordered a burger and chips which was 18 euros. And yet the burger was a couple of hockey puck cheap frozen burgers the kind which is padded with soy and rusk. I'm sorry but for a "gastropub" charging so much I expect some effort gone into it. How much effort does it require to make a smash burger from minced beef? Not much. If it was cheaper I wouldn't mind so much but not for what it cost.

10/05/2025: Gran servicio, personal atento, ambiente agradable, platos increíbles. La sopa de cebolla está celestialmente bien hecha y el entrecote con la salsa de pimienta verde en grano está fuera de este mundo! Saludos desde Brasil y Polonia!

03/05/2025: Kanonbra och vällagad fransk mat. Vi åt löksoppa till förrätt, boeuf bourgogne och confiterat anklår till varmrätt samt tarte tatain och chokladmousse till efterrätt. Rekommenderar att boka bord då restaurangen fylldes upp snabbt. God service och trevlig personal. För 44,95 € får man 3 rätter och känslan av att vara i Frankrike fast man är i Dublin.

06/04/2025: We don't get to Kilkenny often, but when we do, we like to finish with Sunday lunch at Campagne. Today's lunch was simply spectacular - I think the best ever. Every dish was delightful. Firstly, very attractive on the eye, and secondly, simply delicious. Friendly and helpful staff. Two lovely glasses of wine. A lovely relaxed Sunday lunch. Very Highly Recommended.

11/03/2025: Recently stopped in for a spot of brunch and couldn’t recommend enough! Staff were super friendly and service was so quick! French toast with bacon and maple syrup was great but my eyes were bigger than my belly and couldn’t finish it all, server kindly recommend that I order the smaller kids portion the next time I visit. Looking forward to another visit soon!

11/03/2025: We had the Signature Tasting Menu and it was the most delicious meal we have ever had. Every morsel was extraordinarily delicious. It was a most incredible experience. The service was impeccable too. We could not recommend this restaurant highly enough. Huge thanks to everyone involved. We will be back!

11/02/2025: My birthday. Spoiled rotten by a three course a la carte at the BB. No complaints though as the food and wine were first rate. Pigeon, venison, banana soufflé, crab, duck all top drawer. Only matched by the great service provided by Dianne and Antonio. Thank you. If you have a special occasion (or even if you don’t) then eat here.

26/04/2025: Nuestra primera visita a este restaurante. El menú es pequeño, con un entrante y la opción principal que incluye pan y un canapé o se puede añadir a una tasa adicional un postre. Tuvimos la primera opción, pero también se nos aconsejó pedir una verdura para ir con principal a un costo adicional. Esto era lo correcto, ya que el pez principal era pequeño. El foie gras era excelente. Mejor que muchos que he tenido en Francia. Sin embargo, estábamos un poco decepcionados con la principal. El vino que elegimos no estaba disponible, pero el sumiller sugirió una alternativa a un precio similar que era bueno.

18/04/2025: This might be my favourite restaurant, the staff are welcoming, the chairs are really comfortable, the atmosphere is calm and tranquil, the wine list is fantastic with a great range of choice by the glass and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. Admittedly it's not cheap but I think it's worth it.
