The best restaurants in Galway

08/08/2024: Visita de regreso a este hotel. Decepcionado con algunas cosas. Sentí la zona exterior muy sucia, y teniendo en cuenta que es lo primero que la gente ve, los platos sucios, vasos vacíos dejados durante más de una hora en mesas desatendidas era tan poco atractivo. Ciertamente no se debió a la falta de personal, ya que parecía haber suficiente cantidad de ellos trabajando. Y mientras que el personal del bar atento y amable, el personal de camareros podría absolutamente hacer con algunos consejos sobre el servicio al cliente, todos parecían hartos, como si no quisieran estar allí y no un poco acogedor o atractivo. No me alojaría de nuevo. Una ubicación tan fabulosa y podría ser excelente lamentablemente sentía que había bajado colina de años anteriores. En una nota adicional pagando solo en efectivo por las comidas grita Dudoso y los clientes deben ser informados antes de hacer el pedido.

15/07/2024: Pensé que podríamos cenar aquí... olvídalo. Bar muy ruidoso gracias a los varios televisores salpicados a todo volumen. Cuando le pregunté a la camarera si podíamos conseguir una mesa me dijeron que "no tenía ni idea, pregunte al personal del comedor". El 'comedor' consistía en muebles baratos parecidos a una cafetería de la escuela sin personal a la vista, así que esperamos y esperamos, pero nadie se acercó a nosotros. La clientela que estaba comiendo allí (descubrimos mientras esperábamos) consistía en una gran familia de la comunidad itinerante!! Hemos dado marcha atrás rápidamente y sin duda nunca volverá. ¡El lugar es lo que mi hija describió como "una inmersión"!

23/08/2024: Such a lovely and cozy restaurant. We appreciated that the staff let us linger and savor many different items. The dining room is old-fashioned and comfortable. The food was wonderful, and my daughter was delighted with the dessert plate that featured 6 kinds of different miniature desserts. We also stayed at the inn here and had a comfortable, clean room. The breakfast the next morning was plentiful and very high quality. Would have liked to explore the whole area more as it is beautiful and close to so many interesting things.

18/07/2024: Stunning!! Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Service excellent. Beautiful menu. Crab claws and duck salad delicious. Rack of lamb so fresh and tasty, scallops so fresh as was the Turbot in orange butter. Well worth the trip and will be back again. You can see there's so much effort put into the food but it's not overdone with flavours. The fresh produce is allowed to shine through with careful consideration. Staff excellent! Well done

30/09/2024: This place is rubbish inexperienced young staff. Food very poor. Seemed to be more of a drinking pub terrible experience. 👎

22/04/2025: A warm and truly friendly welcome, a clean and functional room and a hearty and tasty breakfast. A perfect little corner of Ireland!

17/04/2025: We stayed 2 nights at Carrown Tober House and everything was perfect. Warm welcome, availability of the owners, excellent recommendations from them and a very comfortable and well-equipped room, as well as a delicious breakfast. We felt like home!

15/02/2025: Went there whit my two kids to celebrate a friend birthday table was just 5 chairs ask a person whit glasses on the bar for a spare chair and was not happy to be honest no recommend as I can see on next morning there's better place in Gort to enjoy whit family whit really nice staff the ones understand what you there for .

13/11/2024: Have eaten here regularly, nice place, lots of parking out back, food is consistently very good, however other than daily specials, the menu has not changed in years. Please guys, a bit of innovation wouldn't go amiss

07/04/2025: Good bar and enjoyed the food & stout. Sadly only one girl behind bar so service was incredibly poor. Ie slow!!! She worked her a%% off so top marks to her - at the expensive of the business sadly

11/11/2024: Took a lovely Sunday drive from Cong to Coyne's as we had heard good things about their food, we certainly were not dissappointed. A lovely friendly welcome from Michael & staff. Food was amazing , best meal we had out all year. Looking forward to the next visit.

23/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati x pranzo eravamo in giro in bici abbiamo mangiato un ottimo piatto del giorno a base di branzino e verdure. Finalmente qualcosa di diverso. Dolce super crumle di mele!
