The best restaurants in Galway

11/08/2025: I was there Sunday the 10th of August at 8.43am and the gentleman who served me, known as Lee Whelton was a brilliant worker, knows the running of the place and was so very helpful he was a star ⭐️!!

08/08/2025: Great food the two small guys think there names are lee and andrew are running the place

01/12/2023: Great quaint little pub, good pints, music and welcoming locals. All round a really pleasant pub to spend a leisurely time in.

26/11/2023: Absolute delight. A traditional pub, great welcome from Seamus. Lovely Guinness. Amazing traditional music session.

27/03/2025: I used to be a regular of this takeaway with my partner and it was fine but god now the last two times the service has be so so bad over half hour for are food terrible service we be going to apache from now on and the food is actually nicer

05/03/2025: Great spot for a good breakfast, 6 euro including a nice coffee, where would you get that value? Standard of takeaway food is generally very good her for the price.

13/12/2025: Takeaway only, food is good, chips are freshly prepared and delicious, fish box is excellent value for money.

12/11/2025: Amazing: The same name as another takeaway, equally excellent food quality and friendly staff, but a completely different location and different operators and employees than at "ROMA" in Monksland, Athlone. Over time, I have tried the cod fillets, onion rings (both in batter), chips and various pizzas here in Mountbellew. Everything was freshly prepared to order. I can highly recommend all of these dishes. I spoke to some of the locals. They all agreed that this is an exceptionally good takeaway. A small side note: I am not Irish. One of the staff had lived in my home country for years, so I was unexpectedly able to speak my native language – somehow heart-warming.

29/05/2025: Perfect place to have a quick bite if you are a Chinese and Thai food lover !!! Chicken fried dumplings and hot sour soup is a must to try!! Overall my favorite Chinese place !! Elice the owner of the place is also very friendly!

10/05/2025: The food is delicious and the staff are friendly. I can see they are so busy organising their take away orders.

09/07/2025: Great choice and specials available. Very clean, welcoming and great staff. Had the best Club Sandwich I think I ever had and my daughter really enjoyed her sweet chilly chicken wrap, we'll be back soon.

20/04/2025: Fabulous food severed quickly and as requested. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I’ve also brought my dogs with me on a few occasions and they were looked after with such kindness

19/01/2025: Got takeaway from here. While the food was very tasty and of good quality ingredients, it was a lot more sauce than sustenance.

28/12/2024: Do not use there online ordering system , as it will scam you out of your money without a refund option (restaurant closed Wednesday 11 December 24 online said ot was opened put order in through online, company took the money , restaurant was closed then had the cheek to ring on Thursday saying ordered was ready , still waiting for refund) update refund has being received 27 Dec 24
