01/01/2025: Mary and Gerry are great hosts. The rooms were comfortable and the breakfast delicious. The house was lovingly decorated for Christmas . Great location too for access to the Connemara. Warmly recommended

15/02/2025: Went there whit my two kids to celebrate a friend birthday table was just 5 chairs ask a person whit glasses on the bar for a spare chair and was not happy to be honest no recommend as I can see on next morning there's better place in Gort to enjoy whit family whit really nice staff the ones understand what you there for .
13/11/2024: Have eaten here regularly, nice place, lots of parking out back, food is consistently very good, however other than daily specials, the menu has not changed in years. Please guys, a bit of innovation wouldn't go amiss

16/08/2024: We decided to stop in for some drinks with our family the other night when it was raining. I had read great reviews online about how friendly people were. Granted we were a large group of 12 and we came at a busy time and we had four kids with us. However, the experience was less than positive. We asked the bartender for a half and half beer and it seemed to befuddle him a bit. We tried to explain it and he did make the drinks however seemed to be displeased. Again, he was the only bartender and a bunch of people were in at the same time, so we could understand being busy, however, there was very little "Irish" friendliness or hospitality.

11/11/2024: Took a lovely Sunday drive from Cong to Coyne's as we had heard good things about their food, we certainly were not dissappointed. A lovely friendly welcome from Michael & staff. Food was amazing , best meal we had out all year. Looking forward to the next visit.
23/08/2024: Ci siamo fermati x pranzo eravamo in giro in bici abbiamo mangiato un ottimo piatto del giorno a base di branzino e verdure. Finalmente qualcosa di diverso. Dolce super crumle di mele!

Kylemore Abbey Garden Restaurant
18/09/2024: E' un self service e in orario di punta si forma una certa fila ma piuttosto scorrevole e veloce. Io ho preso lo stufato di agnello e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative perchè saporito e morbidissimo. Non all'altezza delle aspettative invece la "mitica" torta di mele. Prezzo abbastanza adeguato al tipo di ristorante.
25/05/2024: This is a fairly large restaurant catering to tourists, but has good food reasonably priced. I had a salmon and spinach quiche with salad, that filled me up for the rest of the day. Good value.

09/10/2024: Stopped overnight with our campervan and our dog. The place was quiet but it was a midweek night . Service was very good and the staff friendly . Have been before but not staying over . Can highly recommend this pub when in the area.
23/08/2024: Ottima cena e personale gentilissimo. Unica possibilità in zona ma anche una buona scelta! Io ho mangiato piatto vegano.

All though sometimes they give u the wrong order..........=here i am nearly 12 months later and I can't say I'm impressed I would give it a 2/10 the chips taste like pre made and are soggy the chicken tenders are so soggy they were like water
I taught you would improve but you clearly didn't I will be back in 12 months for another review hope it improves.............=
