21/07/2025: Stopped into Coyne’s Gastropub with my family for a birthday lunch while visiting my son at the Gaeltacht, and it was such a lovely experience. We sat outside, watched the All-Ireland hurling final, and enjoyed very tasty food.
I had the lasagna, my son had the fish and chips—both were delicious. I would highly recommend the chocolate fudge cake for dessert, So good.
The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the whole vibe was just really relaxed and welcoming. Honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Would definitely go back!

05/06/2025: We liked the town, decided to walk, look around, have a bite to eat. An interesting place with an original interior.
Normal food at a normal price.
A large bar.
You can enter and exit through a nearby store, or you can buy something you need while waiting for your order in the store.
07/04/2025: Good bar and enjoyed the food & stout. Sadly only one girl behind bar so service was incredibly poor. Ie slow!!! She worked her a%% off so top marks to her - at the expensive of the business sadly

The Granary Pizzeria

17/11/2024: Food was lovely. Really enjoyed the pizza
03/10/2024: Just letting people know that the granary have incorrect information on their website and on Google.
I ordered, they took the payment, drove 20 mins to collect and it is closed. No answer from phone.
I know other people have reported this online, and the possible open days are ever changing.
This is terrible customer service, and I won’t be returning again, as this is a recurrent problem that they think is acceptable for customers to deal with regularly.
Unacceptable.

Good Taste

17/04/2025: Bought a medium mega box fpr 18euro. Wanted to swap the ribs and wings for the salt and Chile chicken when I went to pick it up it was 23.50. So not only did they take out the other meats but I was charged 5.50 extra for the swap which non of which was explained on the phone. Also there mega box comes with chicken nuggets not salt and Chile chicken. Better Chineses in town!.

Kylemore Abbey Garden Restaurant
18/09/2024: E' un self service e in orario di punta si forma una certa fila ma piuttosto scorrevole e veloce. Io ho preso lo stufato di agnello e devo dire che ha superato le mie aspettative perchè saporito e morbidissimo. Non all'altezza delle aspettative invece la "mitica" torta di mele. Prezzo abbastanza adeguato al tipo di ristorante.
25/05/2024: This is a fairly large restaurant catering to tourists, but has good food reasonably priced. I had a salmon and spinach quiche with salad, that filled me up for the rest of the day. Good value.

09/07/2024: The food was okay, small portions, fine for me but not for someone who eats normally. It wasn't bad and the wait wasn't too long. Would recommend ordering before or expecting 20-25minutes wait at least.

01/12/2023: Great quaint little pub, good pints, music and welcoming locals. All round a really pleasant pub to spend a leisurely time in.
26/11/2023: Absolute delight. A traditional pub, great welcome from Seamus. Lovely Guinness.
Amazing traditional music session.
