30/12/2024: Had a lovely dinner on a cool, rainy day here. They were shorthanded but still generous enough to accommodate my party of one. The seafood pasta was delicious.

12/12/2024: Perfection, food fit for a Michelin star, the desserts were beautifully crafted as well. Randomly stopped in for dinner and will 100% go out of our way next trip to visit again

24/01/2025: Have eaten dinner in this lovely restaurant on many occasions. Food is always delicious and wine is top class! Recently popped in with a friend for lunch and I have to say it was so good and a great price for a lovely lunch. The atmosphere is relaxed so you can enjoy your company. Staff are friendly and attentive! Highly recommend.

28/01/2025: Firstly the menu selection was vast and reasonably priced, the staff there were really pleasant and very attentive. I had the pork belly and garlic prawns to start and unfortunately the pork belly was wayyy over done and could hardly chew through what was meant to be the crackling I presume, prawns were...uuummmm. The main course certainly made up for it, I again chose the pork option and it was the pork medallions with a mango and honey ? Purée on a bed of mash with fresh vegetables. I also ordered some homemade onion rings to go on the side. The meal was beautiful, meat was succulent and sauce well balanced, the accompanying vegetables were spot on and beer battered onion rings were perfectly crispy and stayed that way all throughout the meal. My Wife also had a fantastic meal and finally I topped it off with the apple and berry crumble with custard, again perfect. The guys here are really friendly and genuinely I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I'll certainly be back.

26/01/2025: Nice pub / restaurant in tourist resort town near cliffs of Moher and golf links. Nice homey and local atmosphere. Ordered fish and chips for 19 Euro. The service was a little slow, but acceptable because the establishment was basically full. You get a large amount of fish along with salad and two dipping sauces. Very filling meal and good on a cold and wet day. Note — they do not accept split checks for parties.

23/01/2025: Lovely quaint bar with a welcoming atmosphere where you can enjoy a chat without blaring music or tv. Beautiful decor, yummy soup and friendly staff.

28/01/2025: While enjoying a 2-night stay we ate in the restaurants both nights. We'd often spoken of the seafood chowder since staying in Ballyvaughan at Easter 1991. Unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations this time. Too thick with a small amount of fish. We were also a bit disappointed in the mussels and the clams but OH enjoyed the fish pie. PS breakfast was good and very generous! With lovely seaview to enjoy too.

17/09/2024: We had a lovely time. Ordered delicious piazza, wine, fish and chips, and salad. I highly recommend this bistro. Our service was amazing! Diana was absolutely wonderful! Great atmosphere!

26/12/2024: Just had an amazing meal for 5 adults and 2 kids. 5* all around for atmosphere, friendly service and the food was super tasty. Not sure there was any leftovers which says a lot! 04/02/2025: As we didn’t stay I can’t rate rooms but evening dinner and hospitality was exceptionally. Fine dining at its finest and the food was incredible 🤤👌🏻 and very reasonable price wise for what you get. A must go and I’ll definitely be returning for another meal soon 🙏🏻

19/01/2025: I know you hear it all the time but I honestly wish I could give more than 5 stars! ⭐️ I was skeptical booking this last minute B&B and I couldn’t have been more in love and obsessed. From the moment we got to the inn, we were greeted and immediately shown to our room which was beyond our expectations! Side note, they went the extra mile giving us a little welcome basket which was beyond kind. They ensured we had dinner reservations and can I say the food was AMAZING?! The whole vibe is so cozy. Not only the food and accommodations, the staff was out of this world kind, prompt, accommodating, easy, friendly and like I was a local. People make the trip memorable and this staff did just that. If you are looking for an amazing service, clean and cute room, great vibe, and experience… couldn’t recommend enough. Already looking forward to coming back!

03/12/2024: I had a huge succulent burger. Sticky toffee pudding. The chicken burger is excellent too. Creme brule is creamy and crunchy. House Merlot is very good.

22/10/2024: I had a great roast beef dinner with all the trimmings; mash, turnip, carrots, broccoli, gravey and Yorkshire pudding. The beef was meltingly tender and tasty. Despite being full I managed a fruit crumble with custard and cream for dessert and it was delicious too. It's a lovely cosy pub with great service.
