Dromoland Castle
29/11/2025: This is an incredible spot. Exactly what it should be. Our family’s favorite hotel of the trip. It starts with the friendly people who greet your car and never stops. Falconry and skeet shooting were great.
25/11/2025: We were walking around the castle enjoying the beautiful decorations, but the moment we entered the restaurant the whole experience became even better. From the very first second everything felt special, thanks to the warm, human and highly professional service. Denis, Eric, Lucy, Timy… I could name many more.
The cocktail “The Emperor” was exactly the kind of ending you’d wish for on a perfect night. ✨

29/10/2025: Charming restaurant with delicious food. I was there at the end of July with my mother staying within walking distance of the restaurant, and it was one of the best meals we had during our 5 day trip in Ireland.

The vibe was warm and lively, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and the food was beyond delicious—every single dish was amazing. The live music was top notch and really brought the whole celebration to life. From start to finish, they made our special day unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate!

Their steak? Surreal!
And their staff always take such great care of us.
We've been there 3 times and we'll keep coming back!
24/10/2025: The store owner is very friendly. He cooked the chicken I bought from the supermarket in the oven for me. You can come and eat if you pass by here.

21/09/2025: Very nice and cosy place. I ordered BBQ ribs and chips with glass of Merlot wine. Ribs were amazing: well marinated, soft and sweet.
Banoffi desert was not too sweet and good. It was very delicious.

11/11/2025: Food is decent - we enjoyed the early bird menu twice and it caters for vegan and vegetarian, although you wont have a selection of options. Service was great both times and price good too if doing early bird !

The menu is manageable. The starters are small.
We had the steak, not so good meat and not grilled well.
And the curry, well-seasoned but with more sauce than substance. The chicken with it was good.
However, and this is why it only gives it two stars, the prices for the food are far too high. €29.70 for the steak and €25.70 for the curry are, in my opinion, completely unreasonable.

16/11/2025: Wow! Everything , yes everything was excellent. Food, quick service, efficiency. Such nice, lovely people. We are from the United States . These were the best chips I have ever had. My wife said it was the best Irish stew she ever had. lol. Wish we lived here. Thank you for all!!

27/10/2025: Great lunch spot in Lisdoonvarna!
Stopped by this place on the way back from the cliffs and it was a solid place for lunch. We ordered the seafood chowder and fish and chips. Both dishes were solid and the chowder had a good amount of seafood in it.
The service staff was very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant atmosphere is really cozy. Would recommend to anyone passing by Lisdoonvarna!
27/10/2025: Amazing pub near the cliffs. We enjoyed some great pints of Guinness, and the beef chuck stew was the star of the meal!

Our experience was mostly very good, the chowder was excellent, the vol-au-vents, pasta dish and fish were very good, however the burgers were dry and chewy, edible non the less but the only downside.

05/12/2025: We stopped in for a bite to eat and were very pleased. The restaurant has several cozy dining rooms, a bar, excellent service, and a high standard of food preparation and presentation.
The back room has a unique interior with huge aquariums and live fish.
27/11/2025: We recently had dinner here and well it was very enjoyable, it was a little expensive and I thought the food had a few areas it could improve on. The fish and chips was very nice with a great crisp batter, but the fish itself I thought was just okay. The oysters were drowned in a Vietnamese dressing which was nice, but I couldn’t taste the oysters. My wife had the monkfish which she said was ok but the curry dashi did not work that well. Great service and nice atmosphere. I would try again.
