24/03/2026: Stayed at a weekend 3 nights. Food was delicious, staff so friendly and accommodation was lovely, warm, clean and pleasant. Recommend this highly, very central to lots of tourist attractions.

14/02/2026: Fantastic ♥️ thank you for delicious food and great service. Especially Lian ( I am not sure about correct spelling, sorry). All staff were amazing and friendly. Definitely we will be back soon. Despite the full seating we were always served and had delicious food on our table.

07/03/2026: We came here with an organized tour. 33 people. This was an experience we won't forget! Had never slept inside a castle before. I would love to do this again.

28/02/2026: I am speechless??? I love a classy, upscale stay, but this was otherworldly. If anything else ever tops it, I'm convinced I'll have died and gone to heaven. The service was the best I've ever experienced. Richard greeted us cheerily and carried in all our bags, valet parked our car, and happily retrieved a few small items we'd left in the car door and brought them to our room. We were given a full tour of the room, and my boys were *thrilled* to see candy and stuffies waiting for them on the bed. At dinner in the Thomand, Matthew commented on the view from our room and greeted my boys by name. We were seated and cared for as though we were royalty. They surprised us and brought chocolate cake, complete with a candle and "happy 9th birthday" beautifully written in icing, and the server sang to my son during dinner! We were driven to and from the pool in the adjacent building whenever we wished, the rowboats on the pond are complimentary to use, and our falconry experience with Jack was a once in a lifetime experience we will treasure. Of course the castle and grounds itself are enchanting. A winding drive past gnarled, aged oak trees and a glistening pond set the tone for the stunning castle set behind them. It's beautifully furnished, landscaped, and decorated. The rooms strike a lovely balance of functionality, class, and welcoming warmth. I hope another Dromoland stay is in my future. :)

10/04/2026: We arrived here after a trip to the Arran Islands. famed for their fish and chips they certainly didn’t disappoint !

08/04/2026: Just had a pint of guiness while listening to the 4 person traditional Irish band. I could have stayed all night. Great spot!

21/04/2026: Cosy, lovely cottage restaurant that serves amazing food. One of the best meal I had in Ireland. Staff were fantastic. Highly recommend!

20/04/2026: Had a lovely lunch with my family last Sunday at The Ivy Cottage. Food was amazing, fish and chips with a light batter and so tasty! Chowder and Crab Claw were also so special. We bought a loaf of the bread they serve with the Chowder, a soda bread with different spices, so tasty! Staff was beyond friendly, so kind and efficient! We felt very welcomed specially because they were so kind to our little doggy.

22/03/2026: From start to finish our meal was absolutely stunning. Our server (Ines I believe) made our celebratory meal so special. The menu was so good that I could have picked anything and been happy. I will definitely return.

08/03/2026: Hands downs, one of the best meals I’ve had here, the braised beef, WOW…out of this world deliciousness. The chef plated the food masterfully, the tastes, texture and flavour was beyond words. I look forward to coming back to Henry’s. The waitress was amazing, great attitude, very pleasant and knowledgeable of the menu. This restaurant is a hidden gem and something you’d expect at a 5-star resort.

11/04/2026: 2nd time here. The food is of the highest quality. The piece of fish given in the fish and chips option is so generous and it’s that generosity and the quality of the grub that makes this my favorite pub/restaurant in Ireland.

23/03/2026: A very cozy restaurant with a warm atmosphere and very pleasant and caring staff. We were here for the first time while passing through the Cliffs of Moher. The food here is very tasty. Great chowder! And a very beautiful aquarium with fish. We will definitely come back and recommend this wonderful place to our friends!

16/04/2026: I didn’t get anything crazy just a salad which I thought wasn’t half bad! My friend got the soup of the day (vegetable— she wasn’t the biggest fan of it). The Irish coffees weren’t very good though I don’t know if my expectations were higher but i was just a little disappointed. The seating was also just a little tight.

17/04/2026: Excellent food! We had roast beef and fish (cod) and chips. All done amazingly well. Warm friendly service. Will be back when we are over that way in Clare next time. Highly recommended.
