29/10/2025: Charming restaurant with delicious food. I was there at the end of July with my mother staying within walking distance of the restaurant, and it was one of the best meals we had during our 5 day trip in Ireland.

06/01/2026: Wife and I visited Ireland for her 40th birthday. One of our stays was at Dromoland Castle. Super nice place, great staff, beautiful scenery. I went out and played 9 holes on the golf course, which was a treat in itself. Highly recommend!!!

31/12/2025: EXCEPTIONAL WEDDING VENUE! Dromoland served as our romantic dream destination wedding venue. They provided exceptional service that surpassed what we could’ve received in the States. All of their recommended vendors were amazing making planning a breeze from across the pond. Our friends and family still note this as one of the best weddings they’ve been to and everyone would love to visit again soon. Absolutely the best! ❤️ Thank you so much!

04/11/2025: Excellent food (the VERY best in Ennis! And yes I'vebeen everywherehere aha) excellent service! The featherblade just melts in your mouth! Their steak? Surreal! And their staff always take such great care of us. We've been there 3 times and we'll keep coming back!

24/10/2025: The store owner is very friendly. He cooked the chicken I bought from the supermarket in the oven for me. You can come and eat if you pass by here.

13/01/2026: If you find yourself in Doolin this is a great place to stop in for tasty pub food and a pint (or more - but heed the warning on the door). Law enforcement, bring your patches, they are posted throughout from all over the world. Enjoy!

04/12/2025: Went here for food and drinks on a trip shortly after getting married this summer. The food and service were incredible. We loved every moment of it. When we told them we'd just gotten married, they gave us a free drink. So generous. Will be back every time in the area.

30/11/2025: Great experience, we were 3 people and all tried Irish Stew and it was really delicious and big portions. Everything was great, including the staff.

10/01/2026: Rooms are basic but comfortable. There is no elevator to access the rooms on the second floor so if you have mobility issues or can't carry your luggage up the stairs, you should request a ground floor room when booking. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is ideal, walking distance to Bunratty Castle and a couple of restaurants, though the restaurant on-site serves delicious food.

30/11/2025: I was so lucky to have the Roadside as my local pub for over three months: the staff is extraordinary and the place itself was my safe space after work! (The coziest Bar with the best and cutest Barman around: thank you Andrew for always having a pint and a good story ready for me) When I spoiled myself with one of Peters lovely meals, Bridie, Mayuko and Paola always made sure I had the best experience: they are kind and wonderful people and the service is fantastic! So if you have the chance to wine and dine in the roadside or to listen to a few tunes of a trad session with a good pint: do not hesitate! :)

23/11/2025: The food here was great. The portions were very good also. It was my first time eating oysters and they were very nice. I would definitely recommend this place.

03/11/2025: We visited as a group of 7 whilst visiting Co Clare on a short break. Our experience was mostly very good, the chowder was excellent, the vol-au-vents, pasta dish and fish were very good, however the burgers were dry and chewy, edible non the less but the only downside.

Emily (in a tight blue blouse and blonde hair) rushed us, spoke sharply, and then handed me a container to pack my own main, when I asked can I take it home. which felt downright rude and unprofessional. Definitely not the level of service I expected. Do better.
