30/12/2024: Had a lovely dinner on a cool, rainy day here. They were shorthanded but still generous enough to accommodate my party of one. The seafood pasta was delicious.
12/12/2024: Perfection, food fit for a Michelin star, the desserts were beautifully crafted as well. Randomly stopped in for dinner and will 100% go out of our way next trip to visit again

03/12/2024: I had a huge succulent burger. Sticky toffee pudding. The chicken burger is excellent too. Creme brule is creamy and crunchy. House Merlot is very good.
22/10/2024: I had a great roast beef dinner with all the trimmings; mash, turnip, carrots, broccoli, gravey and Yorkshire pudding. The beef was meltingly tender and tasty. Despite being full I managed a fruit crumble with custard and cream for dessert and it was delicious too. It's a lovely cosy pub with great service.

The room is large, comfortable and elegant.

14/12/2024: McDermott's Pub hosted our group of ten for dinner after our wedding ceremony at the Cliffs of Moher. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful! They provided us with glasses of prosecco upon arrival, shots of Baileys, and even let us pour our own pints of Guinness behind the bar! Thanks so much for making our day so special! 27/12/2024: Great place for excellent food priced sensibly. Wide choice of beers including alcohol free options, as well as non typical house wines by the glass, such as Verdejo! Great options for daily specials and everything is cooked and presented perfectly. Warm welcome and friendly service from the team.

05/11/2024: Food very tasty. But would prefer if bar was separate as when dining with kids, it's not ideal to be dealing with drinkers and having to walk-through them to get to the dining tables. Staff were very friendly and the fish and chips was yummy. Goats cheese salad also a winner and kids menu catered 4 child's tastes too. Too full to take advantage of dessert.
