26/08/2026: We keep coming back to Bang since it reopened, and for good reason! The food is consistently exceptional, and the atmosphere is always vibrant. Special mention to Carmel, who is such a fantastic, attentive host. Looking forward to our reservation this weekend—a must-visit restaurant in Dublin.

18/08/2026: Great food. Highly recommend. You can taste the level of thought and effort that’s gone in to creating the flavour combinations that make up each dish. The fried monkfish appetiser was especially delicious. The goats cheek was a real surprise hot and the dumplings were the star of the show. Great service and food. Looking forward to another visit

22/08/2026: Having dinner at Daniel's was a very pleasant and tastefull experience. From the starters till the dessert with fried ice cream. Daniel's is a very passionated chef and he made us discover his long hours cooked receipes with love ! The Lobster is rich and excellent. We will come back ! Thanks

After reading the comments, we booked immediately and Daniel delivered it successfully. we tried many highly rated restaurants in Dublin and so far we found majority of them overrated or we werent fully satisfied by the value. But Daniel is definitely undervalued. it is a gem. we are so glad we live nearby. if i talk about the food, we were craving seafood, mostly shellfish. we tried crab salad, crayfish cocktail, scallops and prawns. all of them tasted so nice. so fresh. so flavourful. That deep and rich marine smell and taste. And all of them crowned with an amazing French wine that Daniel recommended. The atmosphere at first looks very modest. But as Daniel talks to you, you understand how much effort he puts it into every detail. I truly appreciate the food and service we received on a very regular Sunday evening, that made it a special.

06/08/2026: Visited grogans castle lounge today, ordered a pink gin tonic and a Guinness. Bill came to 18.90. We ordered another round and was charged 21.90 so I questioned it and was told it was correct. I queried it and they gave me a copy of the receipt to which I saw they charged me a bottle of sol instead of a bottle of tonic. They then gave me 2.90 in change short changing me 90cent. I live and I am from Dublin, I will not be returning! ***TOURIST BEWARE***ASK FOR A RECIEPT

11/08/2026: We visited The House Restaurant during a day trip to Howth after a colleague of mine recommended it, and I came here with my parents. We arrived around 1:30 pm and the restaurant was already quite busy, but luckily we still managed to get a table without a reservation, although I would definitely recommend booking in advance! We came to Howth hoping to enjoy some authentic, fresh fish, and this was exactly what we were looking for. We had the catch of the day, haddock served fish-and-chips style with tartar sauce and crushed peas. It was absolutely delicious and definitely worth the visit. Even though the restaurant was full, we didn’t have to wait long for our food, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. If you’re visiting Howth and looking for a great place to enjoy fresh, authentic fish, I can definitely recommend stopping by The House Restaurant! 🐟🇮🇪

27/08/2026: I attended a party in the marble bar, and it was brilliant service, the atmosphere was great! Danny was impeccable with his service, he ran the bar mainly on his own, and was just brilliant.

21/08/2026: A small, cozy restaurant with an open kitchen. We enjoyed a wonderful tasting menu with paired wines. All the courses were excellent, and the accompanying wines harmonized perfectly with each dish. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful.

28/07/2026: A very small restaurant with superb service. It was great not knowing what each course would be so there were no preconceptions. Dan 'the wine man'(!) was brilliant - really nice selection of genuinely different wines. Excellent restaurant.

09/08/2026: Fantastic food with high quality local Irish ingredients, nice gastropub-atmosphere (including good selection of wine by the glass) and wonderful service! 🤩 Can especially recommend the starter «Dublin Smokies – house-smoked fish, créme fraiche, spring onion, leek, Dubliner cheese,cherry tomato» which was delicious!

08/08/2026: We walked by this place many times going to and from our hotel nearby. Last night (our last night in Ireland) we made a reservation and had one of the best meals of our two month stay in Europe! Great food and service in an authentic gastropub.

25/08/2026: A hidden gem, definitely worth checking out whether you're a foodie or just looking for a nice space to share an evening with friends. The service we got was amazing, and the food absolutely faultless! It's a small space, so make sure to book in advance - you will not regret visiting!

11/08/2026: A great place to stop for a break between the city center and the Guinness House. The atmosphere is fantastic, typical of an Irish pub, and the portions are generous. There might be a bit of a wait during peak hours, which is to be expected.

07/07/2026: What appears to be a small pub from the outside is much bigger than expected. With an interesting decor and organization. It also has a large burger place on the lower floor. Which was actually great quality for a fast food venue.

27/06/2026: We went to the pub for drinks and not for food (they are co-located spaces) and it is self service. It is a beautiful place, relaxed, in my opinion not one of the nicest in the city but definitely one of the most well-known and busy! Very reasonable prices.
