07/10/2026: six of us had dinner here recently to celebrate a 30th birthday. Anna and Arsen were great hosts and food was, as ever, top notch. Service not fussy or casual but the right blend. We tried most of the starters and the fish and meat mains (including the superb salmon special) and desserts were had also. Everyone was glowing in their comments. A great spot for any occasion, lunch or dinner. Just remember to book in advance as it can get busy!

11/10/2026: Great Sunday lunch, tried every starter and main and can say every option was delicious and very well executed. Big recommendation, the Bib is very much deserved.

11/10/2026: Achingly good food and charming spot, filled with locals. It's a brilliant neighbourhood restaurant just off Portobello. Every single dish stood out for me. It's clear the kitchen loves what they do, and hospitality is taken very seriously. Don't hesitate to go!

02/10/2026: Love love love this place. We arrived while it was pouring out, and they made accommodations to fit us in despite the fact that they were full. The service was outstanding and the food was excellent. My mother asked how the pancetta was cooked and the lovely waitress came back with a summary from the chef on how to make it. This is a little hidden gem across the river from Temple Bar. From 3 Americans and 1 Spaniard …. This was the BEST Irish food we had all week!!

19/10/2026: We went here twice. One for a date and second for our private intimate dinner in their private function upstairs many years ago. We and our guests were pleased. They have tasty food, good drinks and superb service.

26/09/2026: Naoise and Suesey St. - a match made in a non-snob’s heaven. A warm but discreet welcome. A menu that’s not at all fussy but elegant and superbly curated. The most flavoursome food, served with knowledge and savoir faire. Of many places to choose while in Dublin for a weekend, this will become a repeat visit because of the combination of the above mentioned elements.

24/09/2026: Extremely rude man with a radio earpiece was our server (possibly the manager?). Asked for waters immediately when we got to the table (even before ordering and then receiving our other drinks) received them after our food came out after asking again for them. Server would not make eye contact with my partner (of color) AT ALL even when he was ordering - the server spoke directly and only to me. Sat in a gorgeous hallway area, I had a lovely time sitting, but my partner was bumped into by multiple servers on his side of the table for some reason. Ordered a “white lemonade” on the non-alcoholic menu, was given a 7up (also on the menu a few items below the white lemonade listed). My partner politely asked for the white lemonade when he brought the wrong drink to the table, and the server told us “Yes, this is that. Have you had 7up before?” to which my partner said, “Yes, but I would like to order a white lemonade.” The server started to argue with him until I showed him the drink menu where I showed him that “white lemonade” and “7up” were listed separately, and then he walked away and got one for us. Soup and bruschetta were tasty, but the waitstaff soured the experience completely. Will NOT be returning, or recommending this place to anyone. We recommend the staff knows what is on the menu.

22/09/2026: One of my Dublin favourites which has plenty to look at and wonderful Guinness. Super service from bat staff and waitresses and waiters that care. Upper Baggot Street from memory south of the river. Am looking forward to going back! ☘️

17/10/2026: We took the dart from Dublin to Dalkey and went to Finnegans on a friend’s recommendation. The interior was absolutely beautiful, the pints great and the cottage pie was absolutely delicious. And the staff was very attentive and friendly. And thanks so much for the Beamish pint glass to take home back to Canada.

10/10/2026: Enjoyable dishes and a welcoming atmosphere made for a nice night out, though it didn't quite hit the fine-dining mark for what you pay. The wine list was fine, but the high-top seating made a multi-course tasting menu a bit of a stretch for comfort. A charming place overall, though I'd probably explore some of the other fantastic options around Portobello next time.

21/10/2026: Great gluten free food. I have celiac disease and there were only 2 items I couldn't order. Everything is clearly labeled for allergens and they are very willing and able to accommodate. Plus the food was lovely!

12/10/2026: Love this place, great atmosphere, live music, food and everything you would expect from an Irish pub. On the second night I went, the barman poured me a Guinness as soon as he saw me, the place was packed both nights, so god knows how he remembered me. If I get back to Dublin, this is the first pub I will visit.

23/08/2026: My Favorite place togo for drink and small bites. Very cozy place but loved the decor... serves cocktails as well. Downstairs they have wow burgers so ur meal is also sorted while having your drink... great selection of beers, whiskeys and liquors at reasonable prices. Location is also good.

06/10/2026: Thank you Zia for the great service and conversation. I ate breakfast here twice on my time in Dublin and really love the breakfast crepe and the tasty cappuccino.

05/10/2026: Very disappointing experience. The service was far too pushy. Before I even ordered, the waiter kept coming over every minute asking if I was ready. After I ordered, four different staff members approached me, and my menu was taken away immediately. I had to ask for it back because my friend was joining me. We ordered omelettes and green tea. The tea was ridiculously expensive for an ordinary café. The omelettes were thin, cold, and filled with a cold mixture that seemed to have been prepared separately and simply wrapped inside the egg. We also waited far too long for them. For the same price, I have had a proper, hot and substantial omelette in Rathmines. This was nowhere near the same standard. Pushy service, long wait, cold food and poor value. I won't be coming back. A real disappointment.

23/10/2026: We are on a trip and we were well received, served and we ate well.

23/10/2026: We are French and were visiting Dublin for a few days. We received a warm welcome with smiles and a zest for life, and the meal was excellent. I highly recommend it.

09/10/2026: breakfast lunch and dinner are phenomenal here at the house. There's always a buzzing mix of locals and a few tourists scattered in. a well curated wine list and craft beers. Check out the back patio on sunny days. Highly recommend!
