23/05/2026: This was the best meal I had in Ireland. I have to give a thumbs up to the chef and the enthusiastic waiters. Everything was wonderful when I dined here!

13/06/2026: Had a greateal here on a Friday night around 19:30. It's a lovely little restaurant, with small numbers and the full house of our visit would advise booking for an evening slot. Food was full of flavour and well presented. The staff were friendly,attentive and responsive. Would definitely visit again.

15/05/2026: Consistently grand food at Dan’s - we had fish and chips and half roast duck with cheesy and croquette potatoes with sauté onions accompanied by a lovely Chardonnay and a nice red from South Africa. Well worth visiting

16/05/2026: Lovely dinner! We started with the scallop ceviche and a goat cheese pear dish which were both delightful. Would recommend their fish! And ending with an almond cookie, so tasty. The early dinner is a great way to try more for less.

01/05/2026: This pub is a real gem. It came highly recommended by a few Irish colleagues, so we stopped in for a couple of pints before dinner and were glad we did. From the moment you walk in, it feels different from your typical pub. The staff greeted us right away, helped us find stools, and even seated us at a shared table with other patrons before taking our order. Friendly and welcoming from the start. The place is full of character. There’s local artwork on the walls (some available to buy), a beautiful stained glass feature, and even carpet that somehow feels clean and well kept. No loud music either, which makes it easy to have a proper conversation. The Guinness was excellent, easily one of the best I’ve had in over 15 years of visiting Dublin. They also serve great toasties, and it’s clear this is a spot locals genuinely enjoy. Authentic, relaxed, and full of charm. I only wish I’d discovered it sooner. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Dublin.

09/06/2026: I broke my “never eat at the same place twice” rule for Darkey Kelly’s… and I’m not even mad about it. The restaurant is a bit of a battlefield for tables but play the long game and you’ll win. Once you’re in, it’s pure payoff: THE BEST fish and chips, and a stew that feels like it’s been cooking in Dublin’s soul for centuries. Zero complaints about the service, the servers were quick, on it, and pleasant. I went in expecting a decent pub meal and left questioning whether I’ve ever actually had fish and chips before this moment. Bottom line: chaotic, lively, and absolutely worth it.

07/07/2026: What appears to be a small pub from the outside is much bigger than expected. With an interesting decor and organization. It also has a large burger place on the lower floor. Which was actually great quality for a fast food venue.

27/06/2026: We went to the pub for drinks and not for food (they are co-located spaces) and it is self service. It is a beautiful place, relaxed, in my opinion not one of the nicest in the city but definitely one of the most well-known and busy! Very reasonable prices.

08/07/2026: Coffee here is great! Flat white was made to perfection. A hard find! The freshly squeezed juices were very refreshing and delicious! I haven’t had their crepes for a good few years but I do remember they were very tasty! Edit: Stopped by again, had a savoury crepe and it was quite disappointing. I had a crepe with chicken, cheddar and spinach. The whole dish was very bland, chicken used was definitely shop bought pieces of chicken breast. The crepe itself must have been sitting for a while as it wasn’t even hot. Even with added relish on the side it was all extremely bland. No seasoning at all. All just slapped together
