04/07/2025: clueless, disorganised service, told us to “look upstairs to see if there was any seats” after squeezing us into a tiny booth. the server then offered us a table that some woman took, when he tried to move her, she wouldn’t move, so he just gave up and left us in the corner. we walked out right after. circus of a service, absolutely disappointing when travelling across the country for an anniversary dinner. never have i been more confused in a restaurant in my life.

28/06/2025: Tasty food, decent prices, and a fantastic atmosphere make this a pub I would gladly return to many times. We had excellent service! I recommend going before the evening meal rush to get your pick of available seating.

No faerie glamour here, nor whispers of ancient lore, but rather the honest, satisfying press of beef on bun, a generous hand with the cheddar, and chips that sing of the good earth. A place for plain folk, where the hunger's ache is soothed with unpretentious grace, and one might, for a fleeting moment, forget the encroaching shadows of the modern world in the simple joy of a well-made bite.

03/07/2025: The food in Rudy's was exceptional. We were in a group of five, all with different meal choices, and rave reviews from all. The restaurant was busy, so there was a bit of a wait for the food, which is understandable. We were near the kitchen and could hear, what I assume, were the extractor fans, which made it difficult to talk at times. Additionally, the restaurant was quite cold, and could be uncomfortable at times. Overall an enjoyable experience.

11/07/2025: We had Dinner on a Friday evening in the Chimac and we were highly satisfied. The meals came pretty fast allthough the place was quite crowded at 6:30. The burgers, one Chicken one Tofu, were very tasty and delicious. We ordered fries as sides and I am not lying when I say, the fries and the garlic Mayo were some of the best I had in my life. The prices were reasonable and we left the restaurant with the good feeling that next time we come to Dublin we certainly pay a visit to Chimac.

Special thanks to our server Fionn, who was only on his second day in the job, would've sworn he had years of experience with how friendly and attentive he was - made what was already a great evening, even better!

24/07/2025: Fish was ok nothing special, very small portions for that price, seems to be a bit of a tourist trap, there are much cheaper and better in the city. Service is very good tho and nice little atmosphere.

13/05/2025: This is one of the best places in Dublin due to several reasons: super nice staff, best atmosphere, and great range of beers. They always have a few unique beers on tap to put the cherry on top. The food is delicious as well. Recently they started offering their own range of beers which I found very delicious. If you pass by this place, it's never a miss. Slainte!!

24/07/2025: Today I went to The Oliver St John Gogarty and I was served by a very rude employee. She never asked for my ID, and when I ordered a cocktail she gave me a shot of tequila. When I told her that she got my order wrong and asked if I could send it back without paying, she said no, which I understood, but told her that wasn’t what I had ordered. I had made it clear, along with a friend that came with me, that I had ordered a Tequila Sunrise (which is a cocktail). I didn’t know that they didn’t have that, she hadn’t understood what I had said and so I didn’t know they didn’t have it. When I asked her about her getting my order wrong, she said she couldn’t do anything and that I had already ordered the shot of tequila, which I had not. She asked me if I wanted to talk to the manager with more attitude than necessary for the conversation, I told her that wasn’t necessary as I didn’t want to cause a confrontation. In the end I ended up paying and drinking a shot of tequila that I didn’t want nor ordered. All because of a simple miscommunication that could’ve been easily avoided. Take this into consideration when talking to costumers because it was made clear by more than one person what I wanted and it was never clarified if they had or hadn’t, leaving me with a drink I didn't want to drink.

17/07/2025: Very nice place with a genuine atmosphere. Crowded the whole time we were there. However, the staff kept an efficient eye on those standing outside and waved in the group that matched the tables that had just become vacant. You have to look for the man with efficient staff.

26/06/2025: I went to the restaurant and ordered an Urban 8 burger and some drinks. The food was excellent and so were the drinks. I was served by a tall waiter whose name I don't remember, extremely friendly and professional. I loved the experience! I'll definitely be back.
