The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

21/10/2024: Dog friendly place with a nice big outdoor seated area behind the bar with heaters and a shelter over the top. Food was good sized portions and we were all full and happy after it. Staff were very good at accommodating requests

20/10/2024: Nice spot for a pint and a bite to eat.

12/11/2024: I had a trip to Dublin with my daughter, and we stayed at The Morrison, It's so central to the city centre, and the Luas stop was literally around the corner. We got to the hotel two hours before our check-in time and were delighted to be told that our room was available, The staff at the front desk were very friendly and polite, our room was bright and spacious, and the bathroom had a shower as well as a bath. A very nice experience overall.

14/10/2024: Hotel was great. So well located. Across the bridge from Temple Bar. Easy to walk anywhere in Dublin. Staff is very good. Rooms are a little small but the suite is wonderful. Highly recommend. Valerie are the front desk was very nice.

20/10/2024: This is a historic place as the oldest pub still operating in Dublin. Go for a pint, not for the food. The food is horridness. I had the cabbage with bacon. The bacon is so salty that there should be a warning on the menu for folks with cardiac insufficiency.

17/10/2024: The Brazen Head pub in Dublin carries a weighty reputation that in reality can only reflect its age. I hate to cast aspersions on it - and I’m not going to - but it’s nothing special however it is worth going to for no other reason than its value for money.

14/10/2024: I was assisted by the staff at this restaurant when I was lost and stuck with a dead phone battery in the middle of the night. When nobody else was willing to help the waitress here kindly assisted me. I am grateful to her and the restaurant’s assistance and if you treat your patrons as well as you looked after me then the dining experience here must be fantastic. Thanks very, very much.

05/10/2024: Everything was absolutely wonderful. Our waitress was very nice and the food came out in a timely fashion. And the food was delicious. The inside was great and the bathroom was top notch. Overall great experience.

13/11/2024: I only ordered a beer, oysters and fish and chips, which were good but not amazing. The reason of my mid-low rating was te service. I came with my wife and we just tried something else from another place so we were not very hungry and when I ordered those three things the waiter said if that was it, which was sort of rude and then we felt our table wasnt a priority. if you come and you order more, you may get better service. the restaurant was very nice and we also liked the christmas decoration

12/11/2024: Very nice large beef burger with fries. The bacon is not overly fatty - and is the American style. Very filling burger. Chips were fine too. Plentiful of nearby condiments and generous helpings of pint ice water when requested. The hot whiskey certainly warmed me up. I was upsold a dessert menu by the gentleman in the shorts, good salesmanship from him. Very lively ambiance, especially from a highly jovial non-serving staff member. He was speaking ‘fluent’ Spanish with the foreign guests, whilst the other staff sung 1970’s rebel songs with little effort! I will be back for the burger again next week or maybe I’ll try the large chicken wings! Despite the cake being lovely, it was a tough walk up the hill after it! 🤣

08/11/2024: Service and food was great! We had Irish breakfast and potato cakes. Seating is somewhat limited so wouldn’t recommend for big parties, but for couples and small groups would definitely recommend!!!!

27/10/2024: We held a private function in their room off the main bar. A lovely cosy room that could be used to host so many occasions. Room was clean. Food was excellent and the staff couldn't have been nicer. We would highly recommend this hidden treasure for any function.

10/11/2024: Nice little restaurant. Called ahead as we had no booking and was told that we can walk in as they can accommodate our party but upon arrival was told should have booked. Even though we were told to walk in. Service was terribly slow had to ask for water 3 times. Food was ok lamb was ok but very small portions. The chicken was extremely sweet. The risotto was very good and the fish was nice. Cocktails were decent

18/10/2024: We went in the bar randomly and it was a very good decision. Small location, but great in service. Service was great, friendly and welcomed. The food was excellent. Fish and chips and the Guinness stew was very tasty. We really enjoyed our visit. And for our next time in Dublin, we will comeback.

19/11/2024: Visually really nice from the outside and inside. However, there are Temple bar prices here, around €10 per pint. In addition, there is a cleaner in the toilet who would like to be paid. So there are much better pubs nearby.

15/11/2024: New Menu and it's terrible. Food choices are minimal and the food standard is awful. Chicken thighs and pork skewers avoid like the plague Bring back the tenders

08/11/2024: Cocktails were amazing .Average price of €13.50 ..The food that we got was lovely but portions are very small for the price they are charging and we we were not full leaving the place..Spent €137 between 2 people so it really falls down on value but again the flavour of the food we got was nice

27/10/2024: Stay here for my trip in Dublin. The staff greeted them warmly when they checked in and helped to carry their luggage to the room. That night, the restaurant of the hotel was packed for activities. Although I could only have dinner at the bar, the service staff did not neglect me because of the activities. The price of dinner is more cost-effective than restaurants in London. The breakfast is also very delicious. In addition, the guest rooms of this hotel are very thoughtful, there are reminders to switch during winter time, and put the bathrobe and slippers in advance. Even from the perspective of location, it is impeccable. It is very convenient to go to many museums in Dublin, and you can walk there (the room also has a map). If I come to Dublin next time, I will also choose this hotel!
