The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

16/09/2025: We stayed at this hotel about a year ago, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness and the staff who couldn't do enough for you. We decided to go back and see if it was just a one off, however I can confirm it wasn't, the hotel has the highest standards, from its staff.to.the hotel to the rooms,everything is absolutely spot on, I can not speak more Highley of this hotel,looking forward to return in the very near future. Keep up the good work folks.

12/08/2025: I made a reservation online and unfortunately I made a mistake and it was not confirmed. The effort was immediately reflected on the credit card which I showed to the person in charge. She turned us away with a smile. In my country, because hospitality is considered quite important, I would have expected her to have made an effort to serve us. It doesn't matter. All I can say right away is that the shop, being quite small and claustrophobic, black in color, had a stifling atmosphere with a strong smell of roast meat. You leave smoky. Maybe the food compensates. I won't know. Be well. -"Comment to the owner's response" - Dear, the one star is for your behavior and the stifling atmosphere. Not for food that I didn't have the "honor" to try. I mentioned it anyway. The fact that you respond regardless of what I write and insult me on top of that shows who you are. I attended today with a group of 5 people for dinner. I did not deprive you of money. I had heard the best things about your restaurant. You summarily kicked us out. I showed the Visa charge that seemed to indicate that there had been an attempt on my part to make a reservation. Instead, there was no attempt on your part to provide service. Be well and I have indeed learned my lesson... Again, I wish you the best!

28/08/2025: Really bad drop off from this place. Was previously my favourite space for lunch in Dublin. Unfortunately with massive price increases and a drop in quality it’s not worth it. Ordered the spicy Cajun sandwich and noticed they stopped putting any sauce on it. 12€ for a dry chicken and cheese sandwich is frankly a rip off

28/08/2025: I will never visit this place again and you should not, either. However, if you decide to go there, you should definitely double-check your receipt here before paying. First I was charged 25.25 instead of 11.60 but realized only after swiping my card. Then they initiated a refund and charged my card again with the right amount (11.60), so I thought it was OK after all. I only realized on the next day (when the refund arrived) that they decided to "keep the change" and refund only 25.00.

17/09/2025: Truly a wonderful experience. We were welcomed by a cheerful and chatty host and had the best breakfast you could ask for. Will most certainly be coming back!

16/09/2025: Great breakfast. A small wait time but definitely worth it. Owner was in and was a great laugh and interacting with everyone. You know the place is good when it’s constantly busy. Amazing food and hit the spot.

17/09/2025: Well Its safe to say we won't be calling to this place again signs of rodent activities in wash rooms and such a smell of urine from the toilets is absolutely disgusting were waiting a while on the food some arrived hot some arrived cold its kinda gone downhill in the past while IV GOT A REALLY BAD REPLY FROM THIS PLACE REGARDING MY REVIEW WHICH WAS UNCALLED FOR IM SIMPLY JUST GIVING MY HONEST OPINION I THOUGHT THAT'S WHAT GOOGLE REVIEWS IS ABOUT OBVIOUSLY I GET SOME PLACES ARENT GONA AGREE IF THEY ARE BAD REVIEWS BUT THATS LIFE AND ITS POINTING OUT THE THINGS THEY NEED TO IMPROVE ON.

25/09/2025: Recently discovered their pizza and a pint deal on weds and Thurs evenings. In Dublin's fair city to get a pizza and a pint for 16 euro is just unreal. I was expecting a frozen pizza thrown in the oven, instead got one of the best pizzas I've ever had, their goats cheese, hot honey and toasted pumpkin seeds pizza has me gone back several times. Staff are sound, the pub is done up beautifully, loads of parking

14/09/2025: I really enjoyed my visit to The Patriots Inn. The beer selection is excellent, served cold and fresh, with great taste and quality. The atmosphere of the pub makes it the perfect place to sit down and enjoy a pint. Friendly service and a cozy setting make the experience even better. Definitely a spot I’d recommend for anyone who appreciates good beer in a welcoming environment.

21/08/2025: Great pub, huge area, excellent food. Would be a perfect place, if the barman would not slam the pints on the bar when you order which makes them spill... Had four pints... It was every pint, only complaint.

14/09/2025: A nice place on pub street. Unlike other pubs, you have to wait outside to get a table (which is appreciated because it doesn't get crowded inside). This made the atmosphere quieter than other pubs. I had an Irish stew and it was delicious. They also serve you some questionable bread. The price is expensive, but like all pubs here, the service is a bit surly. Recommended.
