14/11/2024: The food is delicious!!! 😋 I really enjoy the dining atmosphere here. The restaurant's deco is thoughtfully themed 🐮 and I’m much appreciate for the friendly service. I'll definitely visit again next time!

13/11/2024: Fantastic hotel, would highly recommend. Beautiful building with attention to interior design throughout. Comfy bed, hot shower, excellent breakfast and friendly staff. Definitely a 5 star experience and we will try to book again when next visiting Dublin

04/11/2024: Fabulous restaurant! Beautiful views. Very attentive staff. I hadn't been to the restaurant for many years as I moved away from Dublin, the restaurant was always exceptional and it did not disappoint on returning after so many years. The food was fresh, delicious, flavorful and beautifully presented. I would highly recommend a visit here it won't disappoint.

01/11/2024: Murphy's beer on tap was great, and the sweet cake with ice cream dessert was also great. But I didn't like that they gave plain water from the tap with the smell of chlorine, why? The atmosphere is just great, a real Pub!

10/11/2024: An extremely cosy and cute café. Interiors and all the cutlery have a vintage touch. We tried their Irish breakfast and cheese and ham omelette, along with a cup of mocha. Food was very average and the menu is very basic with not many options. Personally felt the hot drinks were a bit pricey for the quantity. This apart, the cafe is worth a one-time try for the vibes.

09/11/2024: We were visiting our son who was studying abroad in Ireland. We were staying in Dun Laoghaire, and happened upon a sign for the restaurant advertising lobster thermidor. Well, we knew we had to come back for dinner, and it was the most AMAZING meal! It was a quiet Sunday night, so we were the only customers, and Daniel invited us into the kitchen to watch him cook scallops! Never had that happen before! The fresh caught scallops were the best I’ve had, and we live by the sea in California. My husband had the lobster bisque, which you can see in other reviews, it’s is made with care and is fantastic! For mains I had the lobster thermidor, my husband had the duck, and our son had the lamb shanks. All were exceptional. For dessert we had the profiteroles, the fried ice cream, and crème caramel. We were full, but still managed to finish dessert! All of this was paired with a wonderful wine Daniel recommended. The price for the meal and wine were remarkable given the high level of quality. Thank you, Daniel, for one of the most memorable meals we have ever had!

26/10/2024: Great pub! Had full Irish breakfast and it was cooked perfect and tasted great! Chips with cheese and bacon were perfectly cooked as well. Service was awesome. Will be back when in Dublin.

11/10/2024: We were celebrating as a family and were looking forward to sampling the Locks menu as we had heard great things about it. I booked online and put a credit card down to secure the booking. The lady on arrival was a little cool and said we were too early so directed us to the bar. The man behind the bar was busy but acknowledged us and welcomed us warmly. We were directed to our table in the middle of the room and when the waiter took our order he wasn’t very friendly at all. We ordered a €50 bottle of organic prosecco, a soft drink for our daughter, 8 oysters, 2 main courses and 4 small plates. He said in a surly manner that the restaurant policy stipulated that we must order 1 main per person, so we therefore needed to order another main course. We explained that our daughter wasn’t hungry enough to order another main but he kept insisting it was the restaurant policy and he said every restaurant in Dublin is the same. We calmly and reasonably explained that we didn’t need an extra full meal and felt we had ordered a lot. He finally said he would need to check with management and left us to discuss. He came back after a few minutes and said he was willing to take a third order of a starter (15) rather than a main course (35). We didn’t want to make a fuss as it was a special night but felt we had to mention it here as it seems a bizarre policy. Our bill was €210 in the end and the food was delicious but I feel fair in saying we shouldn’t have been forced to order an extra meal when we were ordering so many extras. It was a shame as it could’ve been a truly special night but left a bit of a bad taste in the mouth as the waiter made us feel we weren’t really welcome there. Perhaps a minimum spend would make more sense?

12/11/2024: I had a trip to Dublin with my daughter, and we stayed at The Morrison, It's so central to the city centre, and the Luas stop was literally around the corner. We got to the hotel two hours before our check-in time and were delighted to be told that our room was available, The staff at the front desk were very friendly and polite, our room was bright and spacious, and the bathroom had a shower as well as a bath. A very nice experience overall.

14/10/2024: Hotel was great. So well located. Across the bridge from Temple Bar. Easy to walk anywhere in Dublin. Staff is very good. Rooms are a little small but the suite is wonderful. Highly recommend. Valerie are the front desk was very nice.

26/10/2024: It was absolutely amazing! Delicious hamburger and fantastic staff. They are attentive and caring! I really enjoyed Mary's bar. Next year I will be back!!! Wait for me!

26/10/2024: Best PUB!!! Spacious, good music, delicious burger and that cold, well-served Pint! All attentive and friendly staff! It's really worth it :)
