The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

18/11/2025: I do believe this was the best 3 course meal I've had in my life. I started with the garlic ciabatta which was perfectly crisp on the outside and fluffy, buttery, and garlicky on the inside. My main was the steak cooked to a perfectly rare temperature (my request) and the accompanying fries were delicious. I ended with the creme brulee and I've got to say, 10/10. Best ever. With my meal, I indulged in two glasses of the peach bellini which was very good for the price. The service was great and attentive. The atmosphere was quiet, romantic and enjoyable without being over the top boujee. 100% will eat here again if I come visit Ireland again

07/11/2025: I have been to Dublin many times. It's generally a warm, welcoming place. During this last visit, I noticed a shift. Bar staff doesn't want to engage or answer questions about the history of the establishment or even smile at customers. There just isn't the feel there used to be. The Palace Bar is one of the few places this was not true. The bartenders were warm and the bar itself is absolutely beautiful. The clientele was relaxed and happy. It retains its good feel.

17/10/2025: Favorite meal of the trip. Excellent food and fantastic service. Dessert was phenomenal with the homemade maple vanilla ice cream and the pecan pie was the best I’ve ever had!! Servers also gave a great variety of recommendations for other establishments in the area and for things to do in Dublin.

18/11/2025: Recently visited with my friends as we wanted to beat the Xmas rush dining. This was our second time in Bastible, and once again an unforgettable experience! The good was delectable! All the dishes carefully designed to really awaken your taste buds! Couldn't tell u which one was my favorite as they were all superb! If u go I recommend to go for the wine pairing which complements the dishes beautifully!

13/11/2025: This is a Michelin-starred restaurant, but the chefs need to quit vaping and smoking. If your taste receptors aren't working, I don't understand how you can be a chef or an employee in a Michelin-starred restaurant. I have eaten at many Michelin restaurants before, but I did not get a Michelin-star taste here.

17/11/2025: My wife organised a birthday dinner for me at Trocadero and I could not recommend the restaurant any higher. It was fantastic from start to finish. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was delicious. The wine was reasonably priced and the whole meal went perfect. Great value and expereince

15/11/2025: A very pleasant time at the Trocadéro. Beautifully decorated with a 1900s ambiance. The food was very good! A little too salty at times. And the service was impeccable!

The atmosphere is warm and inviting — ideal for a relaxed evening with family or friends. Prices are fair for the quality, and the service team really deserves praise for their professionalism. 12/11/2025: Our stay here was very nice. Our room (the studio suite viewing Herbert Park) was very nice and clean with kitchenette and laundry. The restaurant there was delicious and the staff was very accommodating when we asked for help or things. Our luggage had been lost and when the airline finally got it to the hotel it was waiting for us in our room when we returned from our day long excursion. And it’s pretty at Christmas. There are a few places to eat nearby but it’s a bit removed from the “happening” part of Dublin so prepare to Uber to places like Temple Bar and such. Perhaps if it were warmer and we felt like walking more it would have been different.

03/11/2025: Searched for a place with fish and chips, and corned beef and cabbage. Both were excellent here.

01/11/2025: Good mix of locals and visitors. Perfect location a short walk from touristy areas. Servers were sweet and energetic. Cozy and vibrant but not rowdy. Wonderful pub food and local craft beers on draught!

03/11/2025: After a long walk around town, we stumbled upon this lovely pub and were so glad we did! We received a warm welcome and were seated in the restaurant area right away. The menu offered a great selection of reasonably priced dishes, and the food didn’t disappoint—generous portions and absolutely delicious. We ended up staying for over two hours, enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, and decided to come back later for dinner and the live music. Our waitress, Emma, took wonderful care of us and was friendly and attentive throughout. It’s a shame we didn’t discover this gem sooner, as we’d spent the previous night in a few other Temple Bar venues that were overpriced and felt like tourist traps. Lundy’s Foot was the complete opposite—authentic, welcoming, and excellent value. Highly recommend a visit—you won’t be disappointed!

03/11/2025: The bar has a classic, old-fashioned feel, like many Irish places, but the atmosphere is very pleasant. Next time I'll be back when there's a concert.

11/11/2025: An Irish pub just as you'd expect at first glance. Superb setting, traditional Irish. But what a disappointment when the food arrived... the fries were just pre-cooked, the dishes uninteresting, barely tasty. What a shame to spoil such a potentially wonderful place with such bad food.
