05/04/2026: Excellent atmosphere. The waitress was very friendly. The fish and chips were very good. A quiet place for a pint and lunch or dinner.

04/04/2026: My two stars go only to the staff, who were very kind and professional, and to the setting, which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the food. The problem was not just the portion size, but also the lack of substance in the dishes, which were not filling at all. The plates were made up almost entirely of vegetables, even though being vegetarian and gluten-free should not mean serving poorly balanced meals. It is perfectly possible to offer dishes that are both balanced and satisfying, with proper starches that do not necessarily contain gluten. On top of that, the food was poorly seasoned and far too salty. Overall, the value for money was not there.

04/04/2026: It’s scandalous that Glas doesn’t have a Michelin star. I’ve tried a wide variety of restaurants in Dublin over the last 3 months, and Glas is heads and shoulders above the rest (and I’m not a vegetarian). The flavours, the combinations, the presentation, the front of house and the atmosphere all set you up for one of the best night’s you’ll have. And if you go out of the more popular serving hours, the price is also unbelievable. Make the most of this while it’s affordable!

02/03/2026: Excellent food, all three courses. Beautifully cooked and presented. The set deals make it good value for money. The service was seamless. I hope they can make it work, it's a quiet part of town but worth the visit.

18/04/2026: A well-maintained hotel with friendly service. There's a good bus connection right in front of the hotel to the city center (€2 / 10 min) and also to the airport. The hotel restaurant offers a good menu with plenty of choices. The rooms are comfortable and clean. A safe, a refrigerator (empty), and an ironing board are provided. The only drawback is the lack of air conditioning in the room. On hot days, the table fan is definitely insufficient. The carpet in the room is also rather old-fashioned from a hygiene perspective.

07/04/2026: Although might not be the cheapest pub in town, it‘s worth every cent. 😇 Lovely staff, and yes the potato soup is just amazing. 🤩 Can recommend the sandwiches but also the Fish and Chips is highly appreciated. Also one of the few pubs where you can easily book online by email.

28/03/2026: What a fantastic first visit to Taylors Three Rock! I finally made it to Taylors Three Rock in Rathfarnham and what an absolutely brilliant night out! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was electric — this place knows how to put on a great evening. The food was really good — classic, hearty Irish fare done well. Nothing to complain about there at all. But the real highlight of the night was the band — they were absolutely fantastic and had the whole place buzzing. Such a great energy that kept everyone entertained all night long. The service was excellent from start to finish. The staff were attentive, friendly, and on top of everything, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining night out in Dublin, Taylors Three Rock is absolutely the place to go. I’ll definitely be back — highly recommend!

12/04/2026: Over from South Wales for a long weekend. Had two sessions in this bar. The best pint of guinness we had in dublin. Had food in the sandwich shop next door which was very nice. Staff and locals were very welcoming. Definitely come here if you are visiting

27/02/2026: Fantastic meal. I had the crab, mussels and cockles risotto to start, followed by duck with dauphinoise potato and celeriac, with rhubarb crumble to finish. Each course consisted of a wealth of different flavours. Good service too.

19/02/2026: Three of us visited mid week for a three course set menu. We shared some additional sides and a couple of bottles of wine. I don't recall exactly what we paid but it seemed very reasonable considering the quality of the food . The cadence of the service was perfect. Hosts were friendly and informative. We lingered and at no point did we feel rushed... Definitely will return. Oh and the duck was excellent. Loved the turnips .

14/04/2026: 1st time here and what a lovely surprise beautiful restaurant with excellent food and service, the staff couldn't do enough just brilliant. The food on its own is worth the vist. A 2nd visit is most definitely needed

10/04/2026: **The Brass Monkey – Dublin** The Brass Monkey is easily one of my favorite places in Dublin. The **service is outstanding** — they never let me down, even during the busiest times, and always manage to find a spot for us to enjoy lunch. The food is **fresh and delicious**, with their **Guinness bread** being a highlight that pairs perfectly with their seafood dishes. I especially appreciate their **Italian Pinot Grigio**, which complements the **seafood skewers** beautifully. Warm service, great food, and thoughtful wine pairings make The Brass Monkey a true gem. A place I keep coming back to, and always recommend.
