20/04/2026: Amazing view of the seaside and shore, it feels like driving in :) fresh delicious food

20/04/2026: I ordered grilled sea bass for 32€. It tasted like a simple, home-cooked meal in minimalist style. However, the menu says it's GRILLED, but it was served pan-fried. Don't make my mistake.

23/05/2026: Had a wonderful lunch at Cavistons Restaurant. I had mixed fish, and it was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavour. The staff were very welcoming and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The atmosphere was amazing, warm and relaxing, and the view from upstairs was gorgeous. Definitely a place worth visiting in Dublin!

11/06/2026: What a great spot! We came to Mister S for our wedding anniversary and it was perfect. We loved sitting in the window, enjoying the great food and the cool play list going in the background. We finished a with a cocktail, both were simply served, which I personally like, and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient. We will be back :)

11/06/2026: A disappointing visit on this occasion. Two waiters serving us were abrasive and addressed my male companion only. Many previous visits were far more enjoyable with pleasant staff and better cooked food living up to standard I have come to expect from Caspers.

04/06/2026: Take my advice and try the Dover sole. It is the best fish dish I have eaten in years. Simply fabulous in every respect.

09/06/2026: We tried the seafood paella, salmon, and calamari, and they were all delicious. The waitress was energetic, sweet, and respectful.

08/06/2026: My wife and I ate here for lunch on a Sunday, within 30 minutes of them opening for the day. Tasty fish and chips, and the spicy prawn pil pil was amazing!!!

16/05/2026: After visiting the Guinness Storehouse, we had lunch at Harkin's. My seafood chowder was fantastic and the service was super friendly.

16/05/2026: A great place if you want to treat yourself with some fancy vegetarian experience (but might be not the best choice for hungry people) - everything is pleasant for your eyes, taste and smell, including dishes, interior, drinks, people around.. Will definitely return when I visit Dublin next time.

13/05/2026: In my opinion this is the best vegetarian restaurant in Dublin and very likely the best in Ireland. The flavours from the food are delightful, and the whole dining experience is wonderful. I have been dining here for many years and the many friends I bring here say they have never tasted food so delicious and delightful. It is the perfect place for a special dining experience. The staff are friendly, attentive and love to tell the diners about the dishes they are about to eat. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very relaxing and it is an ideal place to impress guests. I dine there time and time again because the food, presentation, and friendliness of staff is perfect. It's the place to go to for a nutritious and delicious relaxing meal.

15/05/2026: I would have given a solid 4 or even 5 starts if it wasn't for the bed. The worst bed I slept in, in a long time. The Bed of Torture. Extra EXTRA firm, feels like sleeping on the table. The pillow.... I had to remove and use sweater instead because it felt like a thick brick. Everything else about the room was great. Clean, bathroom and the shower was amazing. The service was very nice and very welcoming. Please update your beds and pillows or at least add some toppers to the beds. Everything hurt in the morning after sleepless night.

14/05/2026: Dublin Skylon Hotel is a hospitality establishment located in Drumcondra next to Dublin City University (DCU) St. Patrick's campus. How to get there? From Dublin Airport to the hotel, you can take bus 16, 41, or 41c for €2 and arrive in 30-35 minutes. From Skylon Hotel to Dublin city center, you can take bus 19 or 41 and arrive in 20-25 minutes for €2 (coins only). (The bus does not yet accept cashless payments. Prices as of May 2026.) The service from the reception staff was outstanding. Congratulations! ⚠️On the other hand, the service from the bar/restaurant staff could be improved. I suggest that the middle-aged gentleman who collects payment for breakfast at the restaurant entrance be a bit friendlier, or at least smile when collecting the €18 per person for the breakfast buffet. Their interactions with customers and the breakfast staff could be more pleasant and ease the tense atmosphere that seems to be present among most of the restaurant staff. This is why I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. ⚠️ Everything else is excellent; the rooms are clean and the common areas are ideal for leisure or business trips. The price is reasonable for the value offered. 🙌🏽

18/05/2026: Good car parking food excellent service needs addressing. I ordered veg but a bowl of chips instead. By time veg arrived everything was cold. My god they could do with hiring a door fitter. The banging of doors as your eating would lift you out of the seat. Surely this can be fixed.

25/05/2026: Great place for a coffee or a small morning snack. Staff is amazing and super kind, there are enough seats for everyone and wall plugs for you to charge your device. If you gonna have your coffee around this area, just go there. Great prices especially if you are on budget, Latte was 3.7 € and all the snacks are 3€ . Highly recommend!

13/06/2026: The staff recommended the Good Good Tofu Burger which was absolutely out of this world! The tofu was incredibly soft, fresh, and flavorful- easily some of the best we’ve had in a long time. The service was amazing.

06/06/2026: The server was chill, the music was good,and the food was perfect, If ur ever getting anything in chimac get the fried chicken nugs with Korean hot sauce.🤩

17/05/2026: My spouse and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner experience at Tricadero. We were greeted by Mary who made sure we were seated at a great table of our choice. Later, she circled back to make sure we were enjoying our meal. She set the stage for what turned out to be a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we did not get the name of our waiter. He was great! I ordered the prime cut fillet that was perfectly cooked to my specifications. My spouse order the duck and was very pleased. Later when things had quieted down, Robert, one of the owners, stopped by our table for a chat. We highly recommend Trocadero!
