15/12/2025: Dec 2025. Went in for a few drinks early evening. What a beautifully appointed place. Quick friendly service. The Guinness was great but the Galway Girl Hazy IPA was outstanding.

14/10/2025: Absolutely loved Aqua Restaurant in Howth! The views over the harbor are amazing. It feels like you’re dining right on the sea. My steak was cooked perfectly, and friends raved about the salmon. Excellent wine list, great service, and a warm, elegant vibe. Worth the short walk down West Pier easily one of the top meals I’ve had in Ireland. The Amore Life indeed!

21/08/2025: The restaurant is situated beautifully however the muscles were very over salted and the fish pie was luke warm and was more potato than fish

02/01/2026: A really cool Irish pub for drinks and food. We tried the beef stew (it was a shame they weren't serving it in the traditional loaf of bread that day), but it was delicious. The fish and chips were also great. The menu changes from lunchtime to dinner at 3 pm, which is important because the fish and chips only start at 3 pm and we had to wait 15 minutes. The waitresses are super friendly and attentive, and the music they were playing was a great choice!

01/01/2026: Perfect music, soft enough for conversation. The food was delicious, especially their signature beef stew and the fish and chips—so tasty and homemade! The desserts were amazing, the cheesecake and brownie were a 10/10! The Guinness 0.0 beers were excellent and well-served, all for 65 euros, a very good price. The waitresses were super friendly and tried their best to make themselves understood even if you don't speak great English. It's away from the hustle and bustle of the city center but still very close, in a pretty good and safe area. The decor is beautiful. For Spaniards or people who eat later, they served us dinner at 8:30 pm without any problem. They have screens showing sporting events.

26/11/2025: i could rave about this place endlessly! we came here for their early bird menu which was only €36 for two courses and €39.50 for three. every course we ordered exceeded my expectations completely! i absolutely loved their delicious ricotta gnocchi with squash and mushrooms, as well as the ox cheek which was very tender and melted in your mouth. the restaurant itself is beautifully furnished, the perfect location for occasions and intimate dinners

26/11/2025: My daughter and I went there for the pre theater menu last night before a concert at NCH. We sat near the window upstairs and it was cozy and very comfortable. The two main courses ox cheek amd gnocchi just blown us away. Super scrumptious and very well presented. I highly recommend this place. I will be back for more.

10/12/2025: This was the most wonderful dining experience we have had to date. Mentioned in our reservation that we were celebrating our engagement, and were given a glass of fizz each as a kindness, along with congratulations from the staff. The food was absolutely delicious; each course was a true experience, and the elements of every dish were spectacular. The oyster mushroom main will stay in our minds for months to come! We were primarily served by the effortlessly cool Orcan, a most perfect blend of profoundly friendly waiter-ship balanced with professional efficiency and knowledge. We didn’t get the names of the other members of staff, but all oozed with the same charisma, passion, and love for the establishment. It was the perfect curation for a perfect evening, and we can’t thank the staff enough. We will certainly be back again (honeymoon?) !!!!

09/12/2025: Good food. Very small portions. Very tasty but very small. I had to eat again after. The venue itself is flat and very bright. Overall a good ex perience, I feel the food does not match the restaurant at all.

11/12/2025: The music and atmosphere are amazing and the style the pub has is great. Yet the second floor planning for jazz performances absolutely ruins the mood and stresses me out. Why would anyone make the room long and put people far from the stage when the scene can be in the centre of the room and allow more people to enjoy the performance? If the floor had stage where the bar is and the bar where the stage is now the place could be absolutely amazing.

10/12/2025: Really nice place, amazing atmosphere, the staff was really helpful and the food amazing! We ordered a Burger and Fish n’ Chips: both were really tasty! When I’m back in Dublin I will visit it again for sure!

27/12/2025: We went to the Christmas music show and it was fantastic! The kids loved it as much as we did. Afterward, we had a few drinks at a restaurant. It was a wonderful day, and the kids really enjoyed the Santa experience. We're definitely planning to go again next year!

02/12/2025: Went to Restaurant on Monday early evening, so it was fairly quite at this time. The ambience is relaxed and a good place to chat. Had the chicken wings to start very tasty sause. I had fish & chips for main dish which was served with peas & tarture sause, you cant really go wrong with this dish. My friend had the Lamb cutlet dish served with greens, potatoes and a sause. He enjoyed the dish.

11/12/2025: My cousin was hospitalised in St. James’s Hospital after an accident, which left his lips badly injured. The only food he could manage was fries. I couldn’t find anywhere nearby that sold them, so when a coffee shop told me they offered fries, I ordered a takeaway portion from the first floor and was asked to wait outside. Because I couldn’t stand on the stairs, I waited outside the bar in the cold. After about ten minutes, I went back in to enquire and was then told to wait in the basement bar. I sat there for almost another ten minutes. As someone who manages a branded restaurant myself, I normally avoid leaving negative feedback, but the staff didn’t seem to show much care or consideration for customers. I felt ignored and made to feel as though my presence was an inconvenience. I don’t mind waiting; what bothered me was the lack of friendliness. The only person who showed genuine courtesy was the older gentleman cleaning the outdoor seating area. A customer is a customer, whether they spend €1 or €100.

07/12/2025: We went for a quick drink before visiting the Guinness Storehouse. We weren't asked what we wanted to drink. We were told, "If you want to sit down, you have to order something." We ended up going to the bar and ordering two coffees. We sat back down, but our coffee was gone, and the bill was immediately thrust in front of us. We were getting angry looks from the staff the whole time. We paid the bill, and the owner came over to say he needed the table quickly. Very rude staff. I would never go back there again.

13/12/2025: Very convenient location on the bus route to the airport. Modern hotel, spacious, spotless room. Very good dinner at the hotel restaurant at a reasonable price for a 4-star hotel. Fast checkin and checkout. The location is on a busy 4-lane street so I would ask for a room not facing the street.

03/01/2026: What’s the craic? Spent a layover day in Dublin on our way back to Berlin. Upon our arrival i googled best Guinness and Beef Pie in Dublin and Sheehans was the first place on my search results. The place did not disappoint. Great atmosphere, Guinness just right, and a delicious meat pie (although the pie was topped with mashed potatoes not pie crust. Served with peas and a slice of nice crusty bread. Tasty.

30/12/2025: A nice pub with a lounge aswell. The pub area looked great but is was full, so we got sat at the lounge where the atmosphere was lower. The wings where great, and if you are looking for some good come here.

24/12/2025: Walked in at 11am on Christmas Eve with my wife and two kids. While it was Christmas Eve the pub was not yet at its usual busy trade. This was the reason we arrived at 11am to enjoy a couple pre lunch drinks and There were two small tables free down stairs on the left which we organised and pushed together. Despite two staff members walking by with no issue but the then, just as we had ourselves sorted a tall, slim grey haired bar man then came out, looked us up and down and said “you can’t do that” and walked back in behind the bar leaving us standing there with 2 kids a folded buggy and shopping bags. We had to just leave. While we understood that they want to keep their set up we would have expected some decency and basic customer service to assist us especially with the cost of food and beverage in Dublin these days. Awful 10min experience which is a pity as it would be a pub we would frequent a bit when in town….possibly never again.

21/12/2025: Great vibe, bar staff very good but one was rude verging on obnoxious. Definitely tainted our experience and quite disappointing.
