12/02/2026: Excellent experience after a challenging traffic experience on our bikes. Very warm welcome and coffees. Great chat with barman. Highly recommended stop off point.

15/01/2026: A lovely, typical Irish pub with beautiful decor. We spontaneously decided to eat here on a Monday evening. Despite it being a weekday, the pub was packed with locals, and we almost couldn't get a table. The food was delicious and the portions were generous.

16/02/2026: Great café for breakfast, with the famous Irish coffee that gets your day off to a flying start! There are very few seats, so arrive early or be prepared to wait. The service is so efficient inside that it doesn't take long.

16/02/2026: We hunted for a proper Irish Breakfast experience and found EXACTLY what we we sought. The Stage Door Café is a cozy spot in the Temple Bar area, slinging stellar food and exceptional experiences. From the sound of food sizzling nearby, to the new friends we met through table- sharing, and the quick-witted, sometimes cheeky quips from our server, Graham... we were having a blast before the food even arrived. The flavor and quality of the food are enough to explain why there's always a line out the door, but the atmosphere adds another dynamic element to the experience. Can't say enough great things about this place. Make the time to stop in for the food and the coffee! And while you're there, order the Irish Breakfast.

13/01/2026: Its a NO for me. Staff very slow and rude. A group of us (10 ppl) came here to celebrate my daughters bday. Left down by the poor service. Felt totally unwelcomed and had to ask for everything several times from the start to the end. I know it was a busy Christmas time, but we were early enough and it wasnt even busy. Wont be back and certanly cant recommend.

17/02/2026: Initially, I went to The Bleeding Horse today while I was waiting for my family to arrive in Dublin. The fish and chips were below average and I figured that would be the safe meal for any restaurant in Dublin, but I was wrong! It looked great but was one star quality at best!… I have had subpar food before so I didn’t initially judge The Bleeding Horse because bad food can happen to any restaurant… What I was most disappointed with was when I left when my family arrived and returned within an hour for drinks, the bouncer and the manager denied me entry for dress code even though I told them that I was just there in the exact same outfit 1 hour prior. This is not an upscale restaurant that requires a dress code. There were people inside the restaurant with similar outfits as me. The entire situation felt sleazy and I HATE that I spent any money at the Bleeding Horse!

13/02/2026: Always a safe bet for really good food and a very nice location- however last night the service wasn’t great - had to ask for menus after waiting about 15 minutes at the table - requested condiments were forgotten about and had to chase the bill and then chase payment - staff were pleasant but went missing on occasion. Still a nice evening and always a good option.

09/02/2026: Had a really lovely experience at The Purty Kitchen. The atmosphere is cosy and welcoming, with that perfect mix of traditional pub charm and relaxed dining. The food was genuinely excellent — fresh, well cooked, and clearly made with care. Everything we ordered was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly and attentive without being overbearing, which made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. It’s the kind of place you can settle into for a long lunch or a relaxed evening and not feel rushed. A great spot in Dún Laoghaire — would happily return and definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food and a warm, laid-back vibe.

19/02/2026: Called in for a drink, possibly an early dinner. However, we were not impressed by one senior staff member yelling at the younger ones, loudly and publicly, nor their fawning over the "owner" sitting at the bar, who also spoke quite arrogantly to a customer. (Not us btw, just unpleasant to watch). And obviously, by his replies to other unfavourable reviews. Went elsewhere as there are plenty of pubs around with friendly and respectful staff.

25/11/2025: The place was heaving after the Ireland South Africa match, but I could still get a drink at the bar. Nice place great staff.

28/10/2025: They do a great carvery with a very good choice, portions are decent so make sure you go in with an appetite.

11/01/2026: great wings, but the burger was very dry and almost hard, you’d need a yoghurt with it to get it down, I asked for medium well being minced meat but this was rock hard

28/08/2025: Really bad drop off from this place. Was previously my favourite space for lunch in Dublin. Unfortunately with massive price increases and a drop in quality it’s not worth it. Ordered the spicy Cajun sandwich and noticed they stopped putting any sauce on it. 12€ for a dry chicken and cheese sandwich is frankly a rip off

28/08/2025: I will never visit this place again and you should not, either. However, if you decide to go there, you should definitely double-check your receipt here before paying. First I was charged 25.25 instead of 11.60 but realized only after swiping my card. Then they initiated a refund and charged my card again with the right amount (11.60), so I thought it was OK after all. I only realized on the next day (when the refund arrived) that they decided to "keep the change" and refund only 25.00.

01/02/2026: I worked in Ballsbridge for a number of months and visted The Bridge on many occasions and the food and service was always amazing. Myself and my friends always had an amazing time with great music playing in the background, brilliant service and superb food that is truly value for money. I worked my way through the menu amd can honestly say everything is great but my personal favourites being the lamb stew and Ribs"
