17/05/2025: This is a tiny spot—just 12 bar seats—but it delivers everything you’d expect from a starred restaurant. The service is friendly, the food is excellent, and the oysters were unbelievably fresh. But the real star of the night was the fish and chips: clean, crispy, and perfectly flaky inside. Honestly, one of the best I’ve had. With such limited seating, a reservation is highly, highly recommended. I saw them turn away quite a few walk-ins while I was there.

12/05/2025: Wow! Best fish and chips and Calamari we have ever had. So fresh, light, and flaky. Highly recommend coming here. Perfect for lunch before a day of pub crawling. Both of the servers were really friendly too and we had fun chatting with them.

15/05/2025: We had a little get-together in the Snug on Saturday night for my husbands birthday. From the phone call to inquire to meeting Derek to check out the venue to The night itself from the food to the very attentive staff, the night was great. I would highly recommend 👌

14/05/2025: The staff is fantastic! Especially our server Marc who was so personable and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best experience. The food was fabulous in particular the massaman curry, thoroughly enjoyed and would reccommend to all.

05/05/2025: The food was excellent, the menu was a tad bit small and basic . My reason for not giving the 5* would be the service!! It lacked a smile, a “how was your meal “ , we literally had the food dropped to the table and the table was not visited again until they cleared the plates away at which point still nobody asked how everything was for us , we then asked for the bill and that was put on the table and nobody came back , we paid in cash and as we where leaving nobody said “thanks for coming “ etc etc …. We were in and out in 45min . Would we return ? No , this is due to not feeling welcomed, it’s the basics that customers look for when choosing a venue to attend i’d suggest that house looks at some serious service training .

20/05/2025: Great atmosphere and service. My wife had a lamb pie dish which was dry. I had hake which was excellent. I would definitely go again. It was a beautiful sunny Saturday evening by the water.

18/05/2025: We actually went back here nearly a month back but I didn’t get a chance to write then and I just thought it it now. It was a really nice experience . Great staff which I have to commend but didn’t think my meal was perfect it was a bit small for portion size overall. We had a nice date night though and we’re happy overall

25/05/2025: We came searching Parnell heritage as my husband Ron Parnell and his family (Don Parnell,Dana Tucker, Lindsi Wake, Deedee Reinert, Judy Parnell-Hernandez, Wendy Parnell, Brody Wake) are related to the infamous Charles Parnell. We went to see his statue, Parnell Square, Parnell Street and best of all The Parnell Family visited the famous The Parnell Heritage Pub & Grill. After having a Guinness 🍻 and a fabulous Sunday Roast dinner- The owner Louis Broder took us for a fun and learning tour of the pub!! He was so kind he had us behind the bar pulling the tap, and even gave Ron Parnell a bottle of limited Parnell porter !! The food was great the people better!! Thank you for an experience of a life time!! We will never forget it, Louis!

28/05/2025: Always a pleasure - friendly welcome and efficient service. The setting is typical of a pub but elegant! A good selection of cocktails, traditional Irish pub menu. A good local address for a family lunch and/or to watch a match.

20/05/2025: Aye here in advance of a leinster match and the food was delicious. Small group, we all got burgers. My burger was the vegan burger and it has to be one of the best vegan burgers I've ever had. Chips were delicious too. Loved the atmosphere and the rugby memorabilia that decorates the walls.

12/05/2025: When my granddaughter got her 1st holy communion last week which we got a buffet of 5 or 6 big plates with cocktail sausage with small spring rolls and chicken goujon for everyone on table but cocktails sausage was not fresh at all. Everyone was saying that cocktail sausages were horrible tastes. My friend did complain to woman about sausage which was not fresh, but she did not say anything at all. So we will never go there in future.

18/05/2025: Had an absolutely amazing dinner. New to Dublin and first time at the Pig's Ear. Awesome! Ordered what was suggested and loved every bite. Special shout out to the oyster and beef tartar and lamb. Can't wait to come back.

17/05/2025: Visited the pigs ear last night and had a fantastic time. The food was great and the staff were all so nice. We got lots of items for the table to share but the potato farl and the mushrooms with garlic were the two stand out dishes for me. Rice pudding and a cocktail for dessert were a great way to end a fantastic evening. We'll be back

30/04/2025: Lovely menu and setting, but I found the food very dissapointing. We got Patatas Bravas which only came served with tomato sauce, ‘crispy gambas’ which were fried in the shell and nearly inedible. The ham croquettes were quite nice and the Burrata was ok, if not very plain. All in all, I was looking forward to the food coming down but was extremely dissapointed when it did. Quite a good menu, but the delivery was seriously lacking.
