19/03/2025: We shortly stopped by for a couple of beers which were poured rapidly by the very attentive bar staff. The atmosphere appears to be very comforting and inviting. I also grabbed one of the merchandise shirts displayed at the bar.

18/03/2025: Great bar with a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. We got a seat here on St. Patrick's Day, even without a reservation. Delicious food and good beer. Prices are relatively reasonable. We'd be happy to go back anytime!

29/01/2025: Booked accommodation via booking.com and due to Storm Éowyn all transportation in & out of the country was cancelled and we were unable to fly to a family party. The host ignored emails/Messages and communications he was given notice and could of followed Force Majeure policy but failed to do so. All other families that had booked in the village with Air b and B were given full refunds. I was entitled to a full refund and was only given a reduced amount even though the policy states my entitlement. Awful customer service in a crisis situation which was totally out of my hands

Cada artículo se prepara con habilidad y experiencia culinaria. Nunca me decepciona cuando visito Brighton Rd como se llama ahora. Es un placer entrar con gran anticipación y salir deseando vivir más cerca y planeando nuestra próxima visita. El personal es muy amable y atento. Su menú del Año Nuevo Chino me envió a otro reino lo que sigue.

22/03/2025: I used to love going to the Fish Shop and getting their lovely fish burger (either in or for take away). We've been clients for a couple of years and always raved about Fish Shop. Recently, we have been unable to get Fish burgers for collection, in two occasions we have been told that they are not doing fish burgers for collection due to the fact that they're fully booked inside or too busy. If you are not doing the burgers, maybe don't offer it on your take away menu? Very disappointed with the service and most likely will not come back or order from there again.

17/03/2025: Got fish and chips-- Hake. This was the best fish and chips I've had since 2005. The fish was cooked perfectly and tender, the batter perfectly light and crisp from first bite to last (not stodgy at all). Staff was very friendly, and the wine topped off the experience.

11/02/2025: Its safe to say we won't be calling to this place again signs of rodent activities in wash rooms and such a smell of urine from the toilets is absolutely disgusting were waiting a while on the food some arrived hot some arrived cold its kinda gone downhill in the past while IV GOT A REALLY BAD REPLY FROM THIS PLACE REGARDING MY REVIEW WHICH WAS UNCALLED FOR IM SIMPLY JUST GIVING MY HONEST OPINION I THOUGHT THAT'S WHAT GOOGLE REVIEWS IS ABOUT OBVIOUSLY I GET SOME PLACES ARENT GONA AGREE IF THEY ARE BAD REVIEWS BUT THATS LIFE AND ITS POINTING OUT THE THINGS THEY NEED TO IMPROVE ON.

24/02/2025: I have been in this place 3 times. Unfortunately, only one time was "okay". Service is horrendous. Waiting up to 15 min to get the menus, and not even giving time to ask for drinks first. Ordered coffee, and took up to 20 min. Ordered my dish, and brought me something different. This happened twice out of the three times. I've given chances enough, but I'd definitely not recommend to go there. Way better if you order delivery. This also happened to the table next to us, customer asked for vegetarian dish, they brought her the meaty version. One table left cuz it took too long to bring menus to them. All this in one hour and a half. Fortunately food is nice, otherwise I dunno why people go there. Really disappointing.

16/03/2025: Food is fine but an overpriced for what it is. Staff are lovely. Don’t show up without a reservation. They couldn’t/wouldn’t find a table for two for us for a quick bite and didn’t try to give us an estimate of when one would open up even though there were at least a dozen empty tables on the patio and a few empty in the restaurant with no reserved cards on them. It might have been because of how we were dressed coming back from a hike so we will be slow to return.
