Purty Kitchen
Dublin
02/11/2024: Just had a lovely bit of dinner. We havnt been here in years but will definitely be bac soon. Food was extremely nice and the courtyard area is wonderful but the service we received from our waiter elevated the whole experience. He is a great advertisement for your business. I THINK he said his name was Augustus but apologies I may have got that wrong, he was the only waiting staff I seen in glasses. Thank you for great service.
31/10/2024: Here for a meal. The food was not cheap but very good. The only seat availability was in the "outdoor" seating area which is 90% covered and heated albeit it was cold when we arrived and took some time to heat up.

The 51
Dublin
10/11/2024: Very good steak sandwich served here.
08/11/2024: Very rude bar staff. Asked for a Gluten free beer, I celiac, they both insisted it was GF I know it wasn’t (GF Peroni has a red label, the one they offered was blue). Not a great place if you’ve any kind of intolerance

The Auld Dubliner
Dublin
17/11/2024: This room is much smaller than it appears, which is not a huge issue. But it smelled of urine. If you’re looking to go to the pubs till closing this is the place for you, if you’re looking for some rest the price was high. Ear plugs were included in the stay because it was so loud at night in the room. The water pressure was great.
14/11/2024: €8.70 for a pint of Guinness. Clearly the pubs in Temple Bar are working together on rip off prices.

Delahunt
Dublin
27/10/2024: Great dinner! I thought it was good. I sometimes like it when there are a few touches of originality and here it’s rather traditional but it’s well cooked.
The atmosphere is nice, the music is discreet so we can hear each other talking. I want to try the cocktails next time.
The only downside was the politeness of the gentleman who welcomed us. The website advertises a dinner menu of 2 or 3 courses available, there is only the tasting menu, we point it out and it is very unpleasant. So we start with the tasting menu but one of the guests doesn't like lamb (at the same time a lot of people don't like lamb...) and doesn't eat fish. We can tell that this is making him drunk. If you do a tasting menu you have to have a little flexibility just in case. In the end he delegated the service to his colleagues and the person who did not eat fish was still served with a fish dish.
We're at +100€ per person, it's a shame to have this service...
21/10/2024: Amazing restaurant for a very special occasion.
The prices for the 8 course menu are high, but the food, experience and service were excellent.
Also the wine advice was great, especially the matching French red wine for the Lamb meat.
I would definitely consider visiting again when in Dublin.

14/11/2024: We had a very good dinner. The meat is very good. And acceptable quality-price.

Step Inn
Dublin
16/11/2024: 100% frozen, processed food was served. Absolute disappointment.
We tried chicken burger and the house Step burger.
Coffee (flat white) was a big portion of tasteless water and milk.
Staff is really nice, kids friendly. The place looks good, new and clean, has a good atmosphere.
13/11/2024: Cozy, warm pub, comfortable spot with great pints of stout, and good service. Down to a two, as last time Guinness waa great, but barman couldn't pull the pint properly, which is a mortal sin. Not rested enough, flat acriss the top.

Arthur Mayne's
Dublin
07/10/2024: 14 of us went for a family lunch. Highly recommend this gem of a pub. They had set up a long table for us in the main bar with plenty of space. Food was great, service very efficient and staff were super friendly. Good tunes playing too. Nothing was a problem over the day. I would definitely go back.
18/07/2024: Great pub great staff great food

Molloy's
Dublin
27/10/2024: One night stay in single room with en-suite. Staff very welcoming I arrived early and was able to wait in the bar with tea until room was ready. Small but clean and comfortable room. Good stay only marred slightly by the noise from the trains passing and roadworks.
27/10/2024: Really good, the rooms were clean, very well equipped and comfortable. The double beds are a bit narrow at 160cm for 2 people.
Windows didn't close properly, so it was very loud at times.
The staff is very, very friendly and even brought additional items we needed late in the evening.

Trinity Bar Venue
Dublin
07/11/2024: Excellent venue in a historical environment
07/11/2024: I went for some food and drinks on Friday 1st November with my two friends with the intentions of staying for the night. They have a good food menu and advertise gluten-free food which is great as I'm coeliac.
I went to the bar and ordered a gluten-free beer but they didn't have any which was very disappointing.
We got menus to order food and I asked a staff member could she tell me what gluten-free options they have as it does not specify it on the menu. It didn't take her very long to tell me as they have very little gluten-free options. She told me they did have a burger which came with a gluten-free bun and chips. I asked were the chips gluten-free and was told no which is absolutely ridiculous if your coeliac. I asked what other options were available and unfortunately there wasn't any.
As we left I spoke to the manager and explained how disappointing it was that I couldn't get a gluten-free meal or a gluten-free beer. His answer was that they didn't have a separate fryer to cook gluten-free food in and that he had got a delivery of gluten-free beer in that day and it was dropped and they ALL smashed.
Very disappointing visit.

Hartley's
Dublin
01/11/2024: Really decent food here, we have been a few times and the food is really worthwhile, the wine list is long and interesting but sometimes if it is around their rotation time you might not get what you want. Totally recommend the Sunday roast too, if you are there then.
27/10/2024: The food is beautiful and there serves us excellent 👍👍👍

The Church Bar & Restaurant
Dublin
21/11/2024: Location.. wonderful! It is the added value of the place. Deconsecrated church, used as a restaurant.
Not too varied menu, the food didn't convince me too much (the fish had very little flavour).
The service is precise, the staff very kind.
Prices a little high.
21/11/2024: A former church converted into a nice restaurant/bar in the center of town. Great relaxed but lively atmosphere. In the middle of the week, music and Irish step dancers played. Everything is perfectly integrated and unobtrusive, so you can have a pleasant conversation the whole time. The food is exquisite and huge portions, with acceptable (Irish) prices. Worth a visit.
