16/12/2025: The stew was delicious. I wasn't asked how it tasted during the meal, nor how the beer the bartender recommended tasted. It also has the feel of a cozy pub if you're with people you know, but if you're alone, you won't get any conversation. Not even if you're sitting at the bar; the staff don't seem particularly welcoming to tourists. Perhaps the bartender wasn't in the mood today; during quieter moments, he leaned against the bar rather than chatting.

28/11/2025: Booked the sitting room bar in Foleys Bar for my sisters hen party. The staff were fantastic to deal with from start to finish, so friendly, helpful and professional, especially Jazmine who dealt with our booking from the start and then Shane on the night. 17/02/2026: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Morrison Hotel, and can honestly say it is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Dublin. The location is excellent, right in the city with easy access to everything, and having parking directly at the hotel is a huge bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay, which really made a difference. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and very high quality. The room service menu was far beyond what you would normally expect. We ordered beef Wellington, monkfish pasta and several desserts – everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and delivered to the room within 20 minutes. The rooms themselves are modern, newly renovated, spotless and very comfortable. You can clearly tell that a lot of thought has gone into both design and cleanliness. Overall, this is an excellent hotel in every aspect. We would highly recommend The Morrison to anyone visiting Dublin and would not hesitate to stay here again.

14/02/2026: We spent one night in this hotel located in the centre of Dublin. Everything was perfect : very clean, the bed is huge and comfortable. I would definitely come back.

08/12/2025: Of all the pubs I've been to in Ireland, this was one of the best in terms of atmosphere and options. We had a group of about 7, but like with most other pubs it was harder for everyone to talk and be heard by each other. The pricing was surprisingly great, considering the location. The small plates that we all got were a bit smaller than we expected, but the food was great either way.

24/02/2026: Went here for my granddad's birthday. The food was great. However, for some strange reason, we weren't allowed to eat the cake in there. Which is odd because it's basically like eating a dessert which is something I never experienced before. But anyhow, it is what it is, I suppose. Aside from that, everything was great. We, ll, definitely be back.

12/08/2025: El ascenso llegó justo a la hora de apertura del almuerzo, así que más o menos tenía elección de asientos. En un comedor amplio y acogedor. Precio fijo El almuerzo de 3 platos fue acogedor y todo estaba delicioso, con bebidas frescas. Terminado con café y capuchino. El personal era encantador, desde la bienvenida hasta la salida. Así que en resumen un agradable interludio.

06/01/2026: I booked Delahunt three weeks before my wife’s birthday on December 28th and answered an email on Christmas Day to confirm the 1.30pm booking. When we arrived, the restaurant was locked up with nobody inside. We rang the phone number, but there was no answer. Given the time of year, most restaurants in the vicinity were closed, and we ended up eating in a place that was fine, but not the kind of venue you’d choose for a special occasion. On our way back to the city centre, we saw the lights on in Delahunt and people inside. Enquiring as to what happened to our booking, we were told by a senior looking person that he didn’t know about the reservation system and he would get back to me by email with an explanation. No such contact has been made. I sincerely hope that anyone who decides to visit Delahunt is not subjected to the same shoddy and couldn’t-care-less approach that we have experienced. The restaurant had three weeks to cancel my booking, but did not have sufficient regard for their customers to do so, or to follow up with an explanation or apology. The Delahunt website says that no shows to the restaurant will be charged €20 a head, which seems eminently fair. It’s telling that they don’t hold themselves to the same minimum standard of behaviour, having done a no show themselves on our reservation.

30/07/2025: Gorgeous restaurant, we just had pizzas and drinks at the bar which were so delicious. I highly recommended the margarita.

29/07/2025: Lovely place, great cocktails. Pizzas delicious, would steer clear of the ravioli. Two of our party had it and both didn’t rate it. Tasteless and more like a soup broth with a bit of pasta thrown in.

16/01/2026: Went last night for a meal with my other half, it is a place I've been looking forward to eating in for years, as the building looks so impressive and historical. Was delighted with my food, every bit of it. It's rare for a vegetarian to be so well looked after to the point where I struggled to choose from so many really good options. Had the gorgonzola risotto with a sumptuous side of cauliflower cheese, the salted caramel sundae and washed it down with a bottle of Nero davolo. The waiter was grand, but the maiter d was really old school professional, popping down to check that each course was ok for us which is a nice touch. Will definitely be back. It was a treat, but we didn't feel fleeced, things felt like good value as all the food was excellent and top notch.

05/01/2026: The food is good, the mussels and venison were excellent , selection is ok, there should really be a white fish on the menu. The service is very pleasant but a bit hit and miss, there was a mix up with our order but the dealt with it very professionally. Beautiful room but if it isn’t too busy it can seem big and cavernous. Worth a visit.
