21/12/2025: Met some friends for a few pints and really enjoyed the atmosphere and staff here. I needed to charge my phone and you can get power banks with all types of ports. Really good service.

24/12/2025: Had a Christmas party for 10 people last Saturday. Very disappointed with the food and the fact we were seated outside in the conservatory with a pillar between our 2 tables. Inside looked lovely but felt it was overpriced too at €36 per person for finger food. Will not be returning

23/12/2025: The bar-restaurant is set in a former church from the early 1700s, the only surviving Baroque-style building in Dublin, blending historic charm with a modern vibe. There is a perfect occasional traditional Irish step dance. Food was decent overall. The garlic butter prawns starter and fried chicken burger were good, and the lamb was tender though slightly gamey. Worth a visit for the setting and experience.

08/12/2025: Visited Lord Lucan Bar and tried a few dishes. The stir fry with chicken was acceptable, the fish and chips were too greasy, and the Angus burger was just ok. While the staff were friendly and kind, the overall food quality was disappointing. The pub has a typical Irish atmosphere and the Christmas decorations were beautifully done, but the visit was not worth it and I will not be going back.

18/11/2025: To be quite honest i got a bad vibe when i first walked to bar and restaurant area the manager and staff behind the bar wasn't very polite never got what i ordered and the chips were raw it was like a nursing home won't be going back

16/12/2025: The stew was delicious. I wasn't asked how it tasted during the meal, nor how the beer the bartender recommended tasted. It also has the feel of a cozy pub if you're with people you know, but if you're alone, you won't get any conversation. Not even if you're sitting at the bar; the staff don't seem particularly welcoming to tourists. Perhaps the bartender wasn't in the mood today; during quieter moments, he leaned against the bar rather than chatting.

28/11/2025: Booked the sitting room bar in Foleys Bar for my sisters hen party. The staff were fantastic to deal with from start to finish, so friendly, helpful and professional, especially Jazmine who dealt with our booking from the start and then Shane on the night. Thank you so much for everything!

12/12/2025: We stopped there for an Irish coffee. ...the worst I've had in Ireland (3rd trip)...and in France. It had no taste, like it was watered down. It was practically cold and there was no service. My husband had to carry the two glasses and plates in his pockets. I drink Irish coffee very regularly. I've never been so disappointed. Especially for €10 a glass.

21/12/2025: Garbage establishment. Was referred by the hotel staff at NYX to come here for a COCKTAIL… Waited 20 minutes at a not so busy bar, to be told by a bartender, “we don’t do cocktails,” then watched another bartender make 2 cocktails; who then rudely told us, “it depends on who you ask.” Hopefully the quality here weeds it out by the next time we’re in Dublin. Trash.

17/12/2025: Dinner and desert in Dublin City centre for 2 less than €70.00. food was good service was great good lively friendly atmosphere. We will definitely be back, maybe try breakfast next time too. This building is very ornate it used to be Clydesdale bank loads of interesting features and a giant safe in the basement.

14/12/2025: Tremendous food. Beef was super tasty and vegetables nicely, not overcooked with a bite. Nice fluffy potatoes all brought together with proper meat gravy. You can tell the chefs are decent chefs from this and then the dessert arrives. Apple pie with apples perfectly cooked with bite and not overly sweet. Then the brownie. Many places do a lazy brownie which is super simple and charge you a packet. These guys do a brownie that is rich and gooey full of comforting chocolate. But they don't stop there. They add hazelnuts for texture. But they dont stop there. They roast the hazelnut to enhance the flavour. Then they add a tasty chocolate sauce with yum ice-cream. These guys know flavour. Congratulations team

11/11/2025: Great spot for looking at football and just for a pint. They do food deals most evenings. Our favourite is Mondays steak night. 10 oz fillet with all the trimmings for €20. Would advise booking though as quite busy.

19/12/2025: Fantastic hotel to stay in. Direct access to city with bus stop just across from hotel. Beautiful well kept hotel. Fab bedrooms. Friendly very helpful staff. Great food.
