The best restaurantsof irish in Dublin

14/03/2026: Really Great food and service! Went to watch the rugby and the one TV wasn’t working. Then we asked if the sound for the TV could be turned on inside to watch the rugby and was told owner doesn’t allow this. The sound for TV was on outside and they did have heaters. Just an FYI if you wanting to watch rugby.

08/03/2026: Wonderful place to go and enjoy music. Some excellent cover bands play here

28/03/2026: Went in on Saturday late afternoon to the bar upstairs and ordered a pizza and a few pints and wine for my better half and was getting settled in for the evening after three rounds and food when the staff announced that there was a reservation for the table at 8.15. I understand reservation policies for restaurants but boozers??? Why didnt they tell us upon entry that we couldnt have the table for the evening? It put a downer on the evening. Dont think i will come back after that.

26/03/2026: A quaint and very welcoming pub. The stew and pie are excellent.

05/04/2026: Excellent and affordable. It's takeaway, but we ate it without any problems on the benches across the street. It was the best we've ever had. The staff were lovely; one of them spoke perfect Spanish. The burger was also delicious.

14/03/2026: Lovely hotel right in centre of Dublin 2 mins from GPO. Staff super helpful n friendly. Roberta 5* on reception. Early check-in no extra cost. Bag storage at check out all smooth. Breakfast lovely. welcoming environment. Quaint hotel oozing with history. Great value for money.

17/03/2026: We had lovely dinner with my mom in this place. Food was delicious and service was fast and polite. Couldn’t wish better.

24/02/2026: Went here for my granddad's birthday. The food was great. However, for some strange reason, we weren't allowed to eat the cake in there. Which is odd because it's basically like eating a dessert which is something I never experienced before. But anyhow, it is what it is, I suppose. Aside from that, everything was great. We, ll, definitely be back.

08/04/2026: For me this is the best pub in Dublin, right off O'Connell St. The staff is friendly, food good, and they always remember what you drink...and the best part is even though you only visit Ireland once or twice a year they remember you!

19/12/2025: Love this little hidden café near the Four Courts. Great coffee paired with genuinely friendly, efficient service. It’s a popular spot with the legal crowd, and it’s easy to see why — smooth, high-quality coffee, a lovely selection of pastries and light lunch options, and very reasonable prices. The space is airy and welcoming, with a charming nod to the building’s history (look for the old Medical Mission sign). A small place but well worth seeking out. ❤️🫶🏿

06/04/2026: The place is beautiful, love all the weird stuff stuck on the ceiling, the live music was great. Staff were friendly. Its quite spacious inside as well which I loved. Went for a work function so we only had finger snack style food, no gluten free options other than nachos. Could be more on their regular menu, I didnt see it. No 0% options so other than beer so no mocktails or anything like that, would be nice to see that maybe in the future.

19/03/2026: On a recent visit to Dublin, this bar was our favourite! In the heart of the Temple Bar neighborhood, the atmosphere was lively, music was superb, and Gabriella the bartender remembered us from the previous day and made us feel like “regulars”! Nice people serving up a fun time! 🍻 🇨🇦 🇮🇪

22/03/2026: We visited this restaurant and ordered the steak meal deal for two, and unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish. The steaks were extremely chewy, almost impossible to enjoy.The wine that came with the meal tasted vinegary and didn’t seem right at all. The overall condition of the restaurant was also quite poor. The place felt grubby and not very clean, and the toilets were in a terrible state. The ladies’ toilet had no soap, which is unacceptable for any restaurant. On top of that, the floors were very slippery, which felt quite unsafe. We paid the full bill but did not leave a tip, as we genuinely did not feel the experience justified it. Overall, it was a very disappointing visit and we would not return.

21/03/2026: Right in the heart of Temple Bar is this fantastic restaurant O'Sheas. You'll find a warm welcome,hearty food and a great atmosphere. We went in on St Patricks night , with 2 seats left, but they found me a garden chair so the 3 of us could share a table...great customer service...and the food....as good as from your mother's kitchen x
