06/09/2025: The food was great and the staff was friendly and made us feel special. Awesome that I was able to book a reservation on OpenTable as most restaurants in the area don’t offer access for online reservations. Highly recommend!

06/09/2025: We had gorgeous tapas in Vendricks recently; our server Angie was a fabulous host, the food was beautiful, the atmosphere was also gorgeous- highly recommended if visiting Killarney!

19/09/2025: A very nice restaurant. You should definitely reserve a table in advance. We had the Shepherd's Pie and the vegetarian tortellini. Both portions were generous and delicious!

17/09/2025: Nice restaurant, managed to seat me on a busy evening. I had the shepherds pie, which I think should technically have been called cottage pie since it was ground beef, which was good, and the soda bread was incredible.

08/09/2025: Hanna was very polite and helpful. We would not have stayed without Hanna greeting us at the door and being so nice. Food was great.

07/09/2025: Hearty and tasty dishes, the beef & Guinness stew is spectacular. Live music everyday. Fast and attentive service, Fast and attentive service, especially Adriana, who advised and guided us in our selection of dishes, making the right choice.

02/07/2025: Amazing bar for Whiskey!!! Booked the masterclass for a Whiskey tasting which is absolutely worthy. Greay food, good Whiskey and very interesting stories about irish Whiskey . Go there!!

02/07/2025: Durante la tormenta de nieve de 2018, disfrutamos de una cata de whisky aquí y volvimos otro día para almorzar. La experiencia con el whisky fue fantástica, aunque en aquel entonces casi nunca lo había tocado. Ahora tomo un pequeño trago de cerveza irlandesa de vez en cuando. ¡La experiencia me cambió! Estuvo genial en 2018, ¿cómo está ahora? Bueno, la antigua sala de degustación está cerrada. Si reúne a un grupo de 10 personas o paga por 10 asientos, aún puede obtener la experiencia de degustación. También tienen una experiencia de degustación abierta semanal, pero eso no encajaba con nuestro horario. Así que nos adaptamos. Mi hijo, mi yerno y yo pedimos distintos vuelos de 4 muestras cada uno. Así que teníamos 12 whiskies diferentes para probar, pero ningún experto para describirlos, aparte de las tarjetas escritas. 11 fueron ganadores y uno de ellos decidió que no queríamos volver a probarlo nunca más. En el proceso pedimos algo de comida, y también estuvo genial. El servicio fue bueno, así que en general fue otra experiencia divertida. Dos pulgares arriba. ¡6 pulgares arriba si nos cuentas a todos!

11/08/2025: We went there twice. The first time was on a Friday evening and the second time on a Sunday. The food was delicious both times, although the cheesecake wasn't the best choice. The service was fantastic on Friday. However, on Sunday it was apparently very busy, which was clearly noticeable to the staff.

10/08/2025: 20 years after my first visit: Food‘s still fantastic. The sticky toffee cake is a must. Great place!

17/09/2025: Lovely restaurant, delicious food, excellent service. I highly recommend the seafood chowder. Nice wine selection as well.

14/09/2025: O'Connors is an authentic Irish pub that regularly offers live music in the evenings. The ambiance is cozy and worth a visit. It offers a wide selection of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beers.

17/09/2025: You can't eat here without an appointment, but appointments are easy to get. They offer appointments for 5pm, 7pm, and 9pm only. But the entire restaurant flows, your food is timely and fresh, and it just works. You're not rushed out the door, and you have plenty of time to savor your food and drink, get dessert, relax, and enjoy your evening without pressure.

17/09/2025: Had the Fish of the day special. The two prawns provided were not properly cleaned and were overcooked making it difficult to eat. The vegetable medley potatoes were undercooked. The special cost 40£. I would not reccomend. The mussels and oysters were fresh and tasty. Calamari was tasty. **Update two of our party fell ill from the smoked Salmon. They were the only two who consumed the salmon.

13/09/2025: Taste wise was nothing special. I wanted to get the chowder but then i saw there was a menu special. Half chowder and half salmon sandwich. Why not? Well basically i paid 2.50 euro extra to have half chowder and 2 slice of salmon on the slice of bread that usually comes with the soup. Or in other terms i paid 6.50 for 2 slices of salmon. I guess that if i would have got the full sandwich, they would have gave me the slice of bread above.

04/10/2025: Stayed twice, really nice people...some rooms are fantastic - recommend asking for one off the street side to avoid street noise. Nicest staff anywhere.. you will be family.

02/10/2025: Morris was the best waiter, gave us so many good recipe recommendations for our next part of the road trip! The food was excellent and the service even better! The owner was absolutely fantastic! Carols food was fantastic

07/09/2025: Fantastic restaurant. I had the wings to start which weee braised and delicious. The chicken dinner was really a treat. Nice wine list. Friendly people.

03/09/2025: We had the 2-course dinner menu for €30 each. Unfortunately, my salad wasn't fresh, and the croutons were like chewing gum.

02/10/2025: We had such a wonderful experience here! My daughter has a severe egg allergy, which can make eating out really stressful, but the staff went above and beyond to make us feel safe and cared for. From the moment we sat down, our server asked thoughtful questions and double-checked with the kitchen to ensure her meal was completely egg-free. Additionally the food was delicious. We will definitely return the next time we visit Killarney.

01/10/2025: Absolutely loved this hotel! It had classic Irish charm while still feeling very comfortable and welcoming. My husband especially enjoyed the putting mat in our room. We only stayed one night, but the staff were so kind and the amenities excellent. When we mentioned it was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a bottle of champagne, which made our stay extra special. Parking was close by and convenient, and the location made it easy to walk everywhere we wanted to go in Killarney. Highly recommend!

06/09/2025: Nice menu and friendly staff. We had avocado toast, waffles with chicken and a kids menu, all was ready at the same time and we didn’t have to wait too long. The only thing wasn’t great was the waffle was too hard but they offered to change it. Nice matcha late.

06/09/2025: Our first time eating there. Gorgeous from start to finish. Fabulous staff too. We had a reservation and I would recommend one just in case.
