The best restaurantsof irish in Killarney

26/01/2025: Really bad experience! We were repeat customers and had really high hopes.We had booked for a table of 8 almost 2 weeks in advance, we arrived at our allocated time and went up to the host stand to let them know that we were here, we were immediately met with hostility, the manager Mark approached me and said “absolutely not no walk ins reservations only” I let him know we had a reservation and he said “oh yea,how?” I told him I made it online and went to find out booking confirmation, he didn’t even acknowledge what I said and just stormed off, when he came back a few mins later he screamed at my whole party in front of the restaurant “if yere even thinking about having a drink we better have ID”, we were eventually sat down however everyone was uncomfortable and wanted to leave- if we could have guaranteed that we would get a table of 8 in another restaurant we would have left but we couldn’t. The entire time we were being watched by other waitresses to report back to Mark what we were saying and doing. To make the experience worse dogs were left into the restaurant but they didn’t want us there. Olga our server was trying to compensate for her managers rude behavior and she provided wonderful service however this was over shadowed by the feeling of being unwelcome Will not be returning again

30/12/2024: We were in the danny mann for 14 of us and although they were very busy, the manager accommodated us on two separate tables. The food was out of this world and the service was top class. The staff were rushed off their feet as every seat was full. It was a great afternoon and we would highly recommend it.

04/03/2025: Staff were great! The food was absolutely amazing! I had the venison shank and had to slow myself down several times from eating it so fast and savor it, it was delicious! Thank you♥️

04/03/2025: Rows and rows of beautiful whiskey bottles embrace you as you sit at the bar. This place is world class for Irish whiskey 🥃 selection coupled with truly welcoming service. The staff is very knowledgeable and at the ready. Ten beer 🍺 taps flowing with hard to find Irish ☘️craft. Food was solid as well! When in Killarney- stop on by for some good spirits. 26/02/2025: We had a lovely stay, nice cozy hotel, location is perfect, everything on the foot step, all the staff is nice.

23/02/2025: Nuala, Valeria and all the team at Killarney Royal gave us the best welcome ever and made sure we had a most memoriable mid term treat, Roxanne at the leisure centre so kindly dried our daughters hair and pleated it to such a wow standard it would not be matched at any hair salon, looking forward to returning to the Killarney Royal again. Huge thanks from the O'Sullivan Family, Co Cork......

16/02/2025: Tuvimos una comida fabulosa en este restaurante anoche, complementos al cheff , el personal tan amable y agradable, lo recomiendo altamente y sin duda volveremos.

25/01/2025: Vivimos en el lugar y decidimos darnos un capricho con la cena. Teníamos el cangrejo / langostino en salmón ahumado y el brie para empezar, filete de filete para el plato principal. Todos los platos estaban muy bien presentados y muy sabrosos. Encantador ambiente en el restaurante. La dueña tomó nuestro pedido y es obvio que es muy apasionada por la buena calidad y el buen servicio. Sin duda volveremos pronto.

09/03/2025: Good food, great service! Our bus driver recommended this place to us and we're glad he did. The food was good and dessert was delicious. The servers were all friendly and attentive and always kept our water glasses filled.

07/03/2025: Visited near closing time in November, had great beef and Guinness stew + a Guinness. An authentic Irish meal experience, good vibes.

15/03/2025: On a very recent visit to killarney, on our last night we went to kitty O Se's ,we didn't realise how busy it would be ,but we got a table ,my advice if you're thinking of going book . The food is great, my husband got 3 starters as his main and there was more than enough .I had fish n chips ,I have lactose intolerance so was nice that there were vegan options for dessert. Our waiter was Blair ,he was very attentive and looked after us very well . We had a lovely experience. We give it 9/10

14/03/2025: Wonderful atmosphere! While traveling in Ireland, my friend celebrated her birthday. The staff did a great job of surprising her with a sparkler dessert and singing. The whole restaurant joined in to sing along!

17/03/2025: We had a family event at Kanye's Bar & Brasserie last weekend. The food was delicious, the service was excellent. I would highly recommend this venue for any event. The staff are lovely there and they couldn't do enough for us. I couldn't find a fault with this place.

25/01/2025: Kayne’s is one of our favourite restaurants. We come here all the time and the food never disappoints. We also love the choice as there are meals to suit anyone’s taste. The menu is big with specials every day. The severs are lovely too. Highly recommend!!!!

02/03/2025: I’ve visited the porter house multiple times over the past few weeks and it keeps getting better! Staff are always so welcoming and helpful. Food is unbelievable, I would personally recommend the Steak Sandwich and the Honey & Brie Garlic Bread 😋 I would recommend that you reserve a table as they are always busy. There is a great selection of spirits, wine, beer, whiskey, cocktails, mocktails, and 0.0% alcoholic drinks. Would definitely recommend friends and family to visit!

23/02/2025: This is not the first time I have visited this pub, yesterday my husband and I also went for a meal, but I was disappointed with the service. The woman with black hair served us, she was very rude and had a bad attitude, this woman needs to learn some service etiquette, when paying the bill she asked us to leave a tip, in my opinion it is up to us to decide whether to leave one or not. I will never go back here again, it was unpleasant

07/03/2025: A cafe named after an important god in Ireland. Wi-Fi available. The store opens early in the morning, which is rare in this area, and the bright atmosphere inside the store will cheer you up from the morning. There are so many types of sweets on the counter that it's hard to decide which one to choose. The view from the window seats is good, and the covered terrace seats have a nice sense of freedom. The crunchy scones were delicious!

01/01/2025: Muchas veces he comido aquí, siempre un restaurante ocupado porque el pescado suele ser de primera calidad y las porciones muy generosas. Pero una visita reciente allí y fue muy diferente. Porciones más pequeñas y esa calidad que solía estar allí faltaba por lo que estábamos muy decepcionados por eso. Más aún cuando se consideran los precios en el menú.

17/03/2025: El personal del restaurante y la comida fueron una de las mejores experiencias que he tenido. Tuve la sopa de cebolla francesa, fue increíble, seguido de la vieira de la mañana y el tablero de queso. Mi otra mitad tenía el popurrí de mariscos, todo tan fresco y cocinado a la perfección, una necesidad si estás en killarney.

01/03/2025: Had dinner last night here with friends. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. I’m a local to the town but this is by far one of Killarney‘s finest restaurants amazing location amazing setting amazing food brilliant food lovely staff a really good experience.
