19/08/2025: I was in Killarney Saturday with a friend of mine we had tryed our luck in a few establishments to no avail so we went to this premises with no reservation and to our surprise the host Pat kindly offered us a table for two upstairs which we were delighted to accept it was very clean cosy nice atmosphere and the food was delicious we had a three course meal which we enjoyed thoroughly so we will be back for sure

16/08/2025: The food is okay, disproportionately priced. They are friendly and it is comfortable, but I will not repeat.

08/08/2025: Great tapas in a really nice restaurant. Staff were lovely. Definitely worth a visit. Will happily be back again when we’re back in Killarney.

03/08/2025: We had a party of seven and didn’t reserve ahead during a busy weekend, and the bartender was happy to seat us at a very comfortable table. Every dish was absolutely delicious, we especially enjoyed their dessert menu! It’s a great place to come with others who are up to sharing a few dishes, as everything we had was definitely worth ordering. Amazing ambiance, staff, and food!!

08/09/2025: Hanna was very polite and helpful. We would not have stayed without Hanna greeting us at the door and being so nice. Food was great.

07/09/2025: Hearty and tasty dishes, the beef & Guinness stew is spectacular. Live music everyday. Fast and attentive service, Fast and attentive service, especially Adriana, who advised and guided us in our selection of dishes, making the right choice.

02/07/2025: Amazing bar for Whiskey!!! Booked the masterclass for a Whiskey tasting which is absolutely worthy. Greay food, good Whiskey and very interesting stories about irish Whiskey . Go there!!

02/07/2025: Durante la tormenta de nieve de 2018, disfrutamos de una cata de whisky aquí y volvimos otro día para almorzar. La experiencia con el whisky fue fantástica, aunque en aquel entonces casi nunca lo había tocado. Ahora tomo un pequeño trago de cerveza irlandesa de vez en cuando. ¡La experiencia me cambió! Estuvo genial en 2018, ¿cómo está ahora? Bueno, la antigua sala de degustación está cerrada. Si reúne a un grupo de 10 personas o paga por 10 asientos, aún puede obtener la experiencia de degustación. También tienen una experiencia de degustación abierta semanal, pero eso no encajaba con nuestro horario. Así que nos adaptamos. Mi hijo, mi yerno y yo pedimos distintos vuelos de 4 muestras cada uno. Así que teníamos 12 whiskies diferentes para probar, pero ningún experto para describirlos, aparte de las tarjetas escritas. 11 fueron ganadores y uno de ellos decidió que no queríamos volver a probarlo nunca más. En el proceso pedimos algo de comida, y también estuvo genial. El servicio fue bueno, así que en general fue otra experiencia divertida. Dos pulgares arriba. ¡6 pulgares arriba si nos cuentas a todos!

11/08/2025: We went there twice. The first time was on a Friday evening and the second time on a Sunday. The food was delicious both times, although the cheesecake wasn't the best choice. The service was fantastic on Friday. However, on Sunday it was apparently very busy, which was clearly noticeable to the staff.

10/08/2025: 20 years after my first visit: Food‘s still fantastic. The sticky toffee cake is a must. Great place!

14/08/2025: Best Lambshank ever, Michelin Star standard... Our waiter James was super , very knowledgeable and made the perfect recommendation. MasterChef has nothing on this place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

13/08/2025: My steak with the butter thingy that melts was bussin. Family says all the other food was very good too… only chopped thing was that the Guinness machine was broken.

03/09/2025: We absolutely loved this place, the food, ambiance and staff. Patrick is great fun. Food (fish) is super quality. Seafood chowder for starter, best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to return <3 thank you Patrick and staff

01/09/2025: This restaurant was recommended by a local tour guide. We ordered the seafood tower, which was filled with lobster, prawns, fried fish, two types of salmon, oysters, etc. It was a great value and a nice way to sample a variety of seafood. The service was great and the food was fresh and delicious.

21/08/2025: Delicious fish and chips. I had never had mushy peas but these were outstanding. Large portions and great quality food. Our server was amazing. Highly recommend.

20/08/2025: Locale abbastanza turistico (fa parte di una catena) dove mangiano anche i local. Abbiamo fatto la fila per entrare. Il menu è basato principalmente sul fritto di pesce. I piatti sono buoni e il personale è gentile, ma il posto è un po' sopravvalutato in generale.

09/08/2025: Stopped by for a couple of Americanos to go. The staff indicated that Killarney stopped using disposable cups and that you had to rent a cup for 2 euros each. You can turn in the cup and get your euros back which I did. I was fine with the cup but my wife didn't necessarily care for it.

24/07/2025: Great cappuccino with 3 different plant-based milk options (to pay extra). The scones are excellent! If they considered no single-use plastics for butter and jam everything would be perfect!

30/08/2025: Visited here twice and both times had a great experience. Beautiful place. The burger with BBQ brisket was top notch.

05/09/2025: The Killarney Royal Townhouse exceeded our expectations from the moment we arrived to the time we left. The many thoughtful touches and outstanding customer service made our experience in this lovely, well-located hotel both unique and pleasurable. Gabriel on reception gave us a warm welcome and arranged an early check-in. Our room was attractive and comfortable. The staff service at breakfast was fast, friendly and efficient, the food excellent. (We can recommend the made-to-order omelette.) Yuliia on reception epitomised excellent service, assisting us to plan our day at Killarney National Park and booking a jaunty car for us. We highly recommend this hotel.

01/08/2025: A fantastic hotel with wonderful, helpful, and friendly staff. The ladies at the reception desk are the perfect ambassadors for this excellent hotel. The breakfast is extensive and, unlike many hotels in this class, offers delicious, freshly baked bread.

05/09/2025: The food was delicious! We arrived with no reservation at around 8pm, and they were able to seat us within ten minutes. Had a lovely drink at the bar while waiting. The service is outstanding, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely dinner.

31/08/2025: Lovely place, delicious food, cute little booths. Staff were super friendly and the atmosphere was lovely. We had a T-Bone steak & Chicken Burger, would recommend.
