07/11/2025: Amazingly ran restaurant we've realised. For few years it was out of our radar. After recommendations lately, by the member of the staff, we came back. We were amazed at the exceptional service during our family visit back then. Tino made us a huge impression on the welcoming and keeping the the food and vibe flowing. Food was excellent, well balanced and superb prepped meat. Deserts came as a bombshell, can't escape from eating them! Second time dining tonight after 2 months, very impressed. Keeping the standard is the key! Well done to you team Petronella!

23/09/2025: We live in Kilkenny and this is our favourite restaurant. We have had family dinners (with teens), meeting friends and meals just as a couple - all wonderful. The food is lovely, great wine selection. The decor makes me feel like I am in Paris but it’s the fabulous service that keeps us coming back time and time again. Everyone there is so attentive, friendly and professional. Tvrtko (hoping I spelled this correctly) in particular is a gentleman and looks after us so well every time we are there. Highly recommend.

But I won't be back.
The staff are fantastic!
The atmosphere is good.
But the menu lacks what I would expect in a good Italian restaurant.
03/11/2025: As someone who truly loves Italian food, I was really disappointed here. The bread and wine were nice, but the tomato seafood pasta and prawn pasta were bland and the sauces barely there. For €75, it just doesn’t feel worth it – you could have a fantastic meal in Dublin for that. Honestly, if you’re in Kilkenny, just stick to a light snack and save yourself the letdown.

22/10/2025: Genuine Irish pub full of locals. Great pub food and friendly staff. Not quiet! Very noisy and a bit crowded with everyone having a grand time of it. Definitely a place to repeat. Food isn't served after about 7:30 so plan carefully.

13/10/2025: The best pub in Kilkenny. Spent a few hours with some locals there. The best group and lots of fun. Best Guiness to be had there. Didn't eat there. Don't know if they have food.
19/06/2025: Exceptional bar, you go to the corner and smoke, you feel like you're smoking a cigarette in your aunt's garden. The pool table is free, just don't mention it to the waitress.
