01/09/2025: Got 2 small spice bags yesterday evening (Sunday) The chips were reheated , dry and poisoned with salt , the few bits of shredded chicken in each bag was hard , no peppers or onions and €10 each A complete rip off and the food was inedible.This Restaurant used be the best in the area with top class food but so disappointed with what we got yesterday. Pay top price at least you should get freshly prepared food NOT Reheated .

24/07/2025: Ordered pizza afew times now and haven't been too satisfied, each time I've asked for thin base it's just been regular base which is not good with my stomach as it's too heavy, asked for pepperoni and bacon just came with bacon no pepperoni, I rang and asked them to please pop some garlic and herb sauces into the bag as it gives u a dip option with garlic bread, lad said yeah no problem...but still never got any, not even a free dip with the medium size pizzas anymore.(not sure about large size).. I even added a little note to my order asking for afew dips and still never got any...I paid 33euro for 2 med pizza and 2 sides should of included a dip wasn't paying 0.65cent per dip after it costing me that much for the order, i think they should go back to including them as I for one will stick with dominos for it's thin and crispy base and free dips with each pizza 🍕

21/07/2025: Ordered Fish and Chips last Saturday night 19th. Have had this dish on numerous occasions in Slevins. When it arrived the fish was the colour of a brown leather shoe and the batter was of the same consistency! All three people at the table agreed it was inedible so I sent it back. 15/20 minutes later still waiting. The Manager Michelle told me the Chef thought the batter was a funny colour so was making another one! Finally arrived and it was worse. Not helped by the skin showing through the burnt batter at the back! The Manager here needs not to adopt such a defensive and rude attitude. I was told.......she tasted the fish and it was fine, nobody else complained and her final insulting parting shot....we would be happy to welcome you again but suggest you don't order the Fish and Chips! Now the staff here are normally extremely pleasant and the food very good. All my friends go there so we were very surprised to be treated in this manner. My companions food was great. The servers were lovely. Will go again but Slevins you need to perhaps arrange further training here. Customers matter and good customer service is essential for any business.

21/07/2025: We were staying at the nearby hotel. This was relatively close and an easy walk. We had an enjoyable meal and the service was great.

23/03/2025: Called this evening at 7:25 pm to a restaurant with approx 15 people eating their be told the kitchen was closed! Disappointed as on the website and on the wall outside it says serving food until 8pm.

14/02/2025: Great Food and menu , great atmosphere , will definitely be back. I went with my family for lunch, great spot for lunch or dinner.

02/06/2025: We had lunch at Harry’s in the Glenside Hotel recently and left with mixed feelings. The setting was pleasant and the menu looked promising, but the experience didn’t quite live up to expectations. Service was friendly but clearly handled by junior staff who seemed a bit unsure at times – not a major issue, but noticeable. The main letdown was the food: the chicken in the pasta arrabbiata tasted reheated rather than freshly prepared, and lacked the expected flavour punch. The kid’s brownie dessert was dry (and stale?) which was disappointing for something so simple. There’s potential here, but attention to food quality and a bit more training for the team would make a big difference. We may give it another try in the future, but for now, it was just okay.

08/06/2025: The whole Sunday lunch experience was absolutely disgusting…..the food was second rate the beef looked like it came form a package in Aldi and was as dry as a Camel’s Gowl …..carrot /peas /lumpy Mash…..coloured water for gravy…..I don’t know how these people can serve up this rubbish and get away with it …I don’t know……battered Garlic mushrooms 5 to be precise for €6.50……..avoid this place at all costs….it overpriced and Tasteless….never ever again

25/03/2025: Great place for drinks and the staff are very friendly

31/10/2025: Mix kebab tray and Oreo milkshake both class job. Slice the doner up so it’s not like spaghetti all in one piece like. Shows they care about the food they serve. Under pressure with little gimps letting off screamers and they didn’t crack once under the pressure. Not their first rodeo. Boshhh
