Cesare's
Enfield
05/07/2025: Best Italian food I've had in Ireland, there can't be more than a few places on this level and half them are probably €150pp Michelin stars.
You enjoy it more as food is perfectly home cooked with TLC and top ingredients and flavour and it's actually healthy Mediterranean food without cheap chemicals and oils etc typical of modern "food". Digests really well and you feel great even after having a big feed and dessert too.
Server was really nice and the chips were perfectly crispy and made from a nice potato. Pizza was custom ordered and very very nice. One of the nicest pizzas I've had. The bourbon vanilla soft serve Italian ice cream and (I forgot the name of it but basically soft pastry wrapped desert with light whipped cream) was very very good
I enjoyed the small homemade and very tasty desert more than a big bowl of cheap ice cream which is only chemicals frozen milk and sugar.
Bit pricey but it's actually fair for the service and quality of food and ingredients. You just need to know what you're getting and that it is a premium dining experience. With soft drinks, 2 desert, chips and a 12 inch custom pizza between 2 people and a few euro tip to round it the meal came to 50 which was well worth it.
Definitely will be back for special occasions.
06/06/2025: Tried Cesare’s for the first time tonight and was really impressed. The food was full of flavour and felt genuinely Italian. We had the pasta and Pizza and it was cooked perfectly. The staff were really friendly and made us feel welcome right away. Cosy atmosphere too, great spot for a relaxed meal out. Will definitely be back!

Remo's
Ashbourne
01/06/2025: Visited here yesterday for a vegetarian pizza ./ coke . Apart from spinach on the topping it was tasteless and overpriced at €15. If you want a good pizza this is not the place to go .

Trim
31/12/2024: We had dinner and breakfast in this restaurant. The service was excellent with very efficient friendly staff both for evening and morning. More staff than I’ve witnessed in other hotels no cost cutting here. Would v much recommend this

Judge and Jury
Trim
05/09/2025: In general, a good atmosphere. Very friendly service.
27/08/2025: We stopped over to grab a beer on our way back from the Trim Castle. No complaints about the Guinness beer, however the atmosphere was a let down. Radio playing in the background, an infant crying (yes in a pub) and their toilet hygiene was a disaster

Earl's Kitchen
Navan (an uaimh)
23/08/2025: Went here with my girlfriend and friend. It's a lovely cafe. They do very nice sandwiches and the bread they use is just georgous. They do amazing soup also. Definitely worth a try even if it's your first time because you won't be disappointed. Very friendly and helpful staff
20/08/2025: Lovely food and staff. Reasonably priced. Will be back again!

Caffrey's of Batterstown
08/08/2025: Dined on Friday at lunch and had a very pleasant experience. Food and service excellent. Well done to all. Lovely ambiance.
15/07/2025: Awful experience. The manager, a blonde lady, got confused with me and other man. I am now “barred” as I am bald and look some way look like a man who spiked a drink and who this establishment says “caused trouble”. They will no longer serve me or when I brought my mother.
I recommend you drive on to Avoca. At least the service will be fair.

River's Edge Bar
Bunclody
02/05/2025: We went to bunclody for dinner
We got lasagna chips coleslaw E18.95
Homemade burger homemade onion rings and chips E16.95
that's what the menu said
The lasagna meat there was none it was covered in half a block of cheese the dish ramecan which the lasagna was served in was half full the lasagna was non existent flat the chips were skinny frozen chips
The burger served with what was called on menu home made onion rings where the finest frozen onion rings I ever seen disgusting the chips again skinny frozen chips
The cost was E38
In this day and age and the cost of living crisis it’s an absolute disgrace that food is being served of this poor quality charged at Gastro pub price s
We wanted to sit enjoy a nice meal and chat
We were absolutely disgusted that we went here to know we could have went to Mick the chipper down the road and be served top quality chips and burgers at prices that match them
School dinner s are of better quality your chef sending food out like that should be sacked
