30/06/2024: Called in on a Sunday morning the place was almost empty apart from 1 family of 6 people. We were not greeted or shown to a table. We went over to a table and sat down, we were seated for at least 15 minutes before any staff approached us and took orders for tea/coffee, waited another 10 minutes before cold tea/coffee arrived, server took breakfast order and we waited at least another 20/25 minutes before the order arrived, (taking into account that at least 5 staff were walking around the empty pub)! The food wasn't high quality produce, the presentation was very slap dash and the service brutal. I will definitely not be returning to this place. Very disappointing experience!!!

02/06/2024: Celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary in the Logan Room upstairs in Slevins. Michelle and Lee were very professional going through food and drink options for the party. Food was excellent, with very generous portions. Staff on the night were very busy, as there was another function on in the bigger room , but they made sure we were all looked after. I would recommend Slevins for any family gathering, well worth a trip..Jennifer Davis

09/07/2024: We went for a late Sunday lunch around 5pm. It’s not a traditional carvery but they did offer, turkey, ham and beef plated Sunday lunch which was delicious. By 5pm they had run out of the special and 3 other menu options but I guess that is our fault for not going earlier. Our server was very young but she was very friendly and fid a great job.
