18/12/2025: Not your typical dinner menu. Creative and delicious food equated with fine dining. Thought given to portions and not overloading the starches. It’s all about tastes and providing quality food. Wine options are excellent, but it is best to ask which pairs best with your meal choices. Will definitely be making a reservation and returning when in the area.

20/12/2025: Goldie never disappoints! If you're visiting Cork or from Cork, goldie 100% has to be on the to do list. The food, services, drinks are always 10/10. Have been going to goldie for years and the standard has never changed. Great team and service inside there. Would highly recommend. Whether you want a full 3 course meal or sharing/tapas style dining, its suits every occasion.

Natalia is just the most amazing person explains every dish every part of the menu. I loved every second the chef should be so proud the food was Devine. 13/12/2025: The queue for brunch was massive. It was a Saturday morning but I didn’t expect it and the wind was howling so it was freezing. Once I got in the door I was given a menu and a seat. The staff then corralled everyone waiting outside up and along the stairs out of the cold. I was then seated at a lovely spacious table. And I realised instead of putting people on chairs once they were free they were sitting people once they were ready to serve them. This made the service once you were seated lovely and efficient. Food was excellent, different, something I wouldn’t make at home and they were able to accommodate my allergies which is always reassuring. Staff were quick and warm. A great experience and I was impressed how the handled the busyness. Only drawback I was either cold from waiting outside or there could have been a draft from sitting by the window but it was a little chilly

06/01/2026: A group of six of us went between Christmas and New Year and all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The owner managed a very busy restaurant despite being the only one serving due to illness of supporting staff. Admiral to watch excellent service with a smile. We will definitely return. Highly recommended due to gorgeous food and fantastic service.

The bar was warm as was the welcome. I was looking for a pint of local Beamish or Murphys, but was willing to settle for my favourite pint, Guinness.

13/10/2025: Your shack was one of the most highly recommended spots in Killybegs when we were planning our Donegal trip and it definitely lived up to the hype! Our first visit after a walk at Slieve League was fantastic. Fresh, hot and affordable seafood, enjoyed with the kids and the lovely bay breeze. Then we showed up with our parents and again and again you were always at the same level. Hope you will keep going and do your best homework during these days and open up with new spot even better and more exciting.

10/10/2025: Ordered 2x seafood boxes. Very good food, but could improve their way of cooking the chips. Chips were hard after a couple of minutes of receiving the food.
