The best restaurantsof seafood

09/02/2026: The food was good, but we didn't get to try the seafood, which was supposed to be the specialty. A glass of wine was quite expensive; it cost almost as much as a bottle in a store.

06/02/2026: So exceptional that we went back three days in a row. Best seafood chowder of my life (and I've tried a lot), beautiful grilled oysters, and super fresh fish and chips. Best find of our trip to Ireland, thank you!

14/12/2025: Ate here last night as a group and had the most incredible time.... they have just the best variety of choices for food options .. the quality of the food, the presentation and portions were super generous.. hats off to all in the kitchen..wine list was varied and nicely chosen with lovely options ..Neil and Barry did a super job looking after everyone with ease and class... .... highly highly recommend this absolute total gem of a hospitality establishment 👏

20/12/2025: Goldie never disappoints! If you're visiting Cork or from Cork, goldie 100% has to be on the to do list. The food, services, drinks are always 10/10. Have been going to goldie for years and the standard has never changed. Great team and service inside there. Would highly recommend. Whether you want a full 3 course meal or sharing/tapas style dining, its suits every occasion.

Natalia is just the most amazing person explains every dish every part of the menu. I loved every second the chef should be so proud the food was Devine. 14/02/2026: What a gem. This is some of the best food we experienced in Ireland. It is a small, intimate restaurant with a small and uncomplicated menu. The quality and flavor of the food is exceptional. The staff were so friendly and helpfull. Coming from Cape Town, we have fairly high expectations when it comes to flavor and quality, and Ard Bia definitely did not disappoint. If you find yourself in Galway, do yourself a favor and dine at this intimate and unassuming little restaurant.

12/02/2026: This is an amazing find just by Spanish Arch. There is a lovely welcome and the atmosphere is calm and cosy. The staff are a attentive but not overly. The menu was interesting and whet the appetite, but the food, unfortunately, wasn't as great as one hoped - a little disappointing in fact. I will go back though

02/02/2026: Very Tay food spot in Strandhill. Their beans. Options are fantastic - highly recommend the crispy aubergine. Scallops cooked to perfection with very tasty puree. Highly recommend the cider Basque cider. Would love to see more of that style in Ireland.

07/12/2025: A cold wet and windy evening in Ballycotton, this is the closest pub to the pier, where water rages and crashed over the breaker onto the pier and street, the perfect experience, pre-pints. The bar was warm as was the welcome. I was looking for a pint of local Beamish or Murphys, but was willing to settle for my favourite pint, Guinness.

08/02/2026: Had a lovely time today at Hemmingways. Second visit in a month since I first discovered the place and can’t wait to go again and again. I mean, the food is phenomenal, the host is near perfect, and the quiet atmosphere was great! Almost forgot to mention: the seafood medley you see in the photo was beyond great! Whatever magic goes into the sauce, keep doing it!

03/12/2025: The food is excellent in the Creel we had the steak sandwich and the soup of the day it was delicious, the staff are polite, friendly and professional. There is a nice relaxed vibe in Creel. Go check it our now. 😉

13/10/2025: Your shack was one of the most highly recommended spots in Killybegs when we were planning our Donegal trip and it definitely lived up to the hype! Our first visit after a walk at Slieve League was fantastic. Fresh, hot and affordable seafood, enjoyed with the kids and the lovely bay breeze. Then we showed up with our parents and again and again you were always at the same level. Hope you will keep going and do your best homework during these days and open up with new spot even better and more exciting.

10/10/2025: Ordered 2x seafood boxes. Very good food, but could improve their way of cooking the chips. Chips were hard after a couple of minutes of receiving the food.
