15/09/2026: No insude tables available when we were there so had to sit outside. They did put the heaters on for us so we were warm enough.

06/09/2026: Place was ok, maybe a bit chaotic. The cheese plate we ordered as starter was good, but the medium-rare filleto was mostly grey inside.

15/09/2026: Had such a lovely experience for our anniversary, we are from galway Barna and had no idea this gem was close by. Amazing quality food, lovely staff and amazing Guinness.

13/09/2026: Disappointed with the menu options. I had Salmon (prompted by the waitress) I would say 'bland'!

09/09/2026: We had a wonderful memorable meal at No 35 on Monday 7th Sept. We both ordered the Special - Black Sole. Fresh, fleshy fish cooked to perfection. Normally not inclined to order dessert, we shared a chocolate mousse creation - wonderful. We were attended to by the personable and knowledgeable Neill who, despite the busy evening, was very attentive. We had a lovely evening.

15/08/2026: To be honest it was quite loud there was a birthday party behind us and they were having a ball There was a man beside me and he had to take out his hearing aids that made me laugh 😃 . Put that aside everything else was beautiful food ,staff and most of all the company I was with 😉 I would recommend booking as it is a small restaurant If u love seafood I highly recommend this place as u will not be disappointed.

14/08/2026: *Hemingway’s — Where You Go Hungry and Leave Planning Your Comeback* Delicious Asian fusion, and plentiful in the best way — no tiny artful portions, just real, flavorful food you actually get full from. Warm atmosphere, beautiful decor everywhere you look, the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. Service was super nice, welcoming, and accommodated every wish without making you feel needy. Bonus: parking is easy, just 1 minute away by the promenade. No circling the block for 20 minutes. Great food, great vibe, great people. I’ll be back.

25/09/2026: With all sincerity, the single best dinning experience of my life! My wife and I traveled to Ireland for our honeymoon and we reserved a table a month in advance. Best reservation we've ever made! The staff are beyond friendly and very quick to assist you with menu recommendations and explanations. The drink selection is very wide but I couldn't stop ordering the Jawbone pale ale, my wife got the palomino wine. We ordered in order of course; The "shiso & seaweed potato crisps, cuinneog ranch" -the "oak smoked mackerel, vindaloo spices, raita & pickled cucumber" - the "pan roasted halibut, sprouting broccoli, chicken and miso butter sauce" and for the wife "pan roasted cod, caramelized chicory chutney, cafe de paris butter" and lasty -the "caramelized white chocolate, kinsale sea salt milk sorbet, buckwheat" and "sangria sorbet." Each course is brought to you individually and each one more delicious than the previous. Everything single plate was beautifully presented and just as tasty as it looks! Absolutely unforgettable experience and could not recommend enough.

23/09/2026: I’ve wanted to come here for a while and it definitely lived up to the expectations. We made an early reservation, which made for such a relaxed experience, and honestly, I have no notes. A must-visit when in Cork! Everything we had was amazing, but the plaice with chicken & miso butter was a standout, as were the oysters with cucumber and kimchi mignonette. Every dish was so thoughtfully done and full of flavour. The service was brilliant too really attentive without being overbearing. We could also see into the kitchen, which was lovely as you could see how calm and relaxed the chefs were while still being so meticulous with every dish. An all-round fantastic meal and experience. Couldn’t recommend it enough!

17/09/2026: Had a great time here, food was excellent. We ordered the pancakes and the shakshuka. Both dishes were delicious. Great coffee too!

16/09/2026: We happened upon this place when dipping out of the rain, but were pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious, and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I’d recommend this place to anyone visiting the area!

06/09/2026: I ordered the special which was a caramelized onion filo tart with blue cheese on top with arugula and a mustard seed based dressing; needless to say, full of flavor! I also had the Korean cauliflower wings--so delicious and perfectly cooked. I had extra wing sauce i wanted to dip bread in so I added the breads n dip to my order at the end...don't do it, at least don't order the gluten-free version. Flavorless unlike other gluten-free breads I've had over the years. Tasted like they came right out of a bag of bread from the grocery aisle. The sauces that accompany the bread are descent. But again don't bother and maybe go with something else (or stick with their sourdough which I should have). I also had the cherry pie and yes, please! Perfect amount of sugar in the crust and excellent blend of tart from the cherry--highly recommend! This place had an excellent vibe and they clearly care about the establishment. I would definitely go back and I love the tapas style, too!

05/09/2026: An average dining experience. The restaurant's location was its best feature. The food, service, and ambiance were not particularly impressive.

08/09/2026: Highly recommended if you like fish and chips and know what to expect. Fresh local fish; we ordered smoked cod and monkfish, both excellent, especially the monkfish. The chips were very good, though perhaps a little less salt would have been nice. Friendly staff (I didn't notice if they washed their hands, as the food is cooked at high temperatures, and what doesn't kill you makes you stronger). There's a bar with a few stools where you can eat your order. The music is a bit loud. Orders take about 10 to 15 minutes to arrive, as everything is prepared fresh.

08/09/2026: This is Holy Buckets stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We ordered the cod fish chipper with their homemade tartar sauce. Yes! Go! He makes it fresh right there!

12/09/2026: Truly Italian! I just fancy something Italian and I found it here. I always pass by here in my walk to Bray seafront and can’t believe I have been passing by here to miss this. Now, I’m addicted. Cannoli is truly delicious and the coffee is super. The panini is freshly made and staff is brilliant and friendly. Carpe Diem, you’re now my favourite in Bray. Thank you!

09/09/2026: Small restaurant with limited seating, but a good selection of salads and sandwiches. It’s a little hard to spot the sign from the road, but look for the purple building! We had the mixed salad with tuna and the roasted ham panini—both were fresh and delicious.

08/06/2026: Lovely little place in the centre of Kinsale. Brilliant sirloin, excellent scallops (with the surf and turf), nice wine selection by glass or bottle, fabulous frites, and the service is op-notch. Recommended, especially as a special occasion dinner.

26/05/2026: Great small restaurant. No reservation, but very accommodating for the two of us. Steaks were great, desert a serious - WOW! Very pleasant waitstaff. Busy so we waited - but we like busy, we know it’s good!

12/09/2026: Great little find. Tucked away down a side street off Main Street the seafood shacks on street mobile unit next to the main building...traditional fish and chips and more i went for the Chowder super tasty and great value...enjoy

15/09/2026: This is a typical kind of Irish roadside pub that we would have stopped off at in the 1970s - and that's not really a compliment! It felt like going back in time, and not in a good way! The coffee is from a push button machine and completely tasteless. You can get far better at most petrol stations. I had a scone which was as dry as a bone. That was a few days ago. We were passing by again and decided to give it a second chance. My friend had a scone and I was waiting to see if it was any better than my previous experience, but it was even more dried up - it must have been sitting there since the week before! There is a grocery shop attached, with a coffee machine. That might be a better option.

17/09/2026: Had a delicious meal in this atmospheric restaurant. Wonderful flavors and fantastic wine. Finished off with a creative and visually stunning pavlova. Combined with very hospitable staff, my evening couldn't have been better. Highly recommended.

16/09/2026: The food was delicious; you won't be disappointed if you come for the food! Although we didn't have a reservation, the staff still did their best to seat us. The wine list was excellent, and the glasses were very clean. Definitely a restaurant worth trying!
