Bodega!
Waterford
09/08/2026: Food was fantastic. There was so much on the menu I wanted to try. I had the goats cheese salad and the chilli prawns. Both were absolutely delicious. Staff were friendly and we had great service even on a very busy night. We knew it was going to be good when the taxi man told us we picked the best place in town when he dropped us there.
08/08/2026: Cannot stress enough how good the service is , the atmosphere the staff the food ! Big shout out to Quila ! Waitress of the year award goes too!!

No. 35
Kenmare
08/08/2026: It was my first time ever going to this place with my family and our experience was amazing. The waiter I wish I knew his name was fantastic he looked after us very well , we had good crack with him . The atmosphere was relaxing and very friendly , we weren’t kept waiting for our food, it was out in good time. The food was delicious, the black sole was delectable, it was full of flavour especially with the saltiness from the caper butter , the hake was tender it fell in your mouth and the wagu burger was succulent. For dessert we had a strawberry cheesecake and it was creamy and sweet with a bit of sourness from the raspberry filling in the middle . Overall No35 is great place to dine .
05/08/2026: A lovely restaurant with very good food. Highly recommended.

Moran's Oyster Cottage
16/07/2026: Everything was amazing but the bread needs a shoutout. So so good, I need more of that bread in my life. The oysters were great too!
Food was brilliant, staff were really good, and the Guinness was absolutely lovely too.
Can't fault a thing. Top drawer stuff going on here so make sure you visit!
14/07/2026: Arrive well on time or make a reservation, especially if you want to sit outside.
The dishes are good but not outstanding, and the price is a bit too high.
The service is friendly and fast.

09/08/2026: Had a couple of desserts in Stoked the other day — the cheesecake was absolutely class, easily a 10/10! 👌 The pavlova was lovely too. Fair play, really enjoyed both. Definitely worth a try 🍰

Hemmingways
Dublin
15/08/2026: To be honest it was quite loud
there was a birthday party behind us and they were having a ball
There was a man beside me and he had to take out his hearing aids that made me laugh 😃 . Put that aside everything else was beautiful food ,staff and most of all the company I was with 😉
I would recommend booking as it is a small restaurant
If u love seafood
I highly recommend this place as u will not be disappointed.
14/08/2026: *Hemingway’s — Where You Go Hungry and Leave Planning Your Comeback*
Delicious Asian fusion, and plentiful in the best way — no tiny artful portions, just real, flavorful food you actually get full from.
Warm atmosphere, beautiful decor everywhere you look, the kind of place you instantly feel comfortable in. Service was super nice, welcoming, and accommodated every wish without making you feel needy.
Bonus: parking is easy, just 1 minute away by the promenade. No circling the block for 20 minutes.
Great food, great vibe, great people. I’ll be back.

Ard Bia at Nimmos
Galway
20/07/2026: My most visited and my most favorite cafe in Ireland, especially for brunch or breakfast. Their French toast and smoked tuna dishes are my absolute faves. Highly recommended. Please note - you might be standing in a queue as they don't take reservations for breakfast
20/07/2026: Ard Bia at Nimmo’s was one of the highlights of our time in Galway and a place I’d happily return to. Set beside the water in a charming historic building, it has a relaxed atmosphere that makes it an ideal choice for a leisurely lunch.
I ordered the mackerel, which was outstanding. It was incredibly fresh, beautifully balanced and packed with flavour. The quality of the ingredients really stood out, and the dish showcased exactly why Ireland has such an excellent reputation for seafood. It was one of the best lunches we enjoyed during our trip.
The setting adds enormously to the experience. Whether you’re seated inside the character-filled dining room or looking out towards the water, the restaurant has a warm, welcoming feel that encourages you to slow down and enjoy your meal. It’s the sort of place that feels popular with both locals and visitors, which is always a good sign.
The staff were another standout. Everyone we encountered was genuinely friendly, welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. Service was efficient while still feeling personal, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience from beginning to end.
If you’re visiting Galway, Ard Bia at Nimmo’s is well worth making time for. Between the excellent food, beautiful setting and warm hospitality, it offers everything you could want from a memorable Irish lunch

Reel Dingle Fish
An daingean
11/08/2026: A great place with a great atmosphere and takeout options. If you're looking for a restaurant, don't come here, but for a local food experience, I recommend it.
Warning: the portions are huge.
09/08/2026: Absolutely loved this place! Tied with a Michelin star restaraunt in Dublin for my favorite place to eat in Ireland. Sometimes you can’t beat fresh and simple. Fresh monkfish was delicious, eat it while it’s hot! Made to order so don’t expect it right away, I’d say I waited about 15 min, but it was worth it!

Kinsale
08/06/2026: Lovely little place in the centre of Kinsale. Brilliant sirloin, excellent scallops (with the surf and turf), nice wine selection by glass or bottle, fabulous frites, and the service is op-notch. Recommended, especially as a special occasion dinner.
26/05/2026: Great small restaurant. No reservation, but very accommodating for the two of us. Steaks were great, desert a serious - WOW! Very pleasant waitstaff. Busy so we waited - but we like busy, we know it’s good!

Carpe Diem
Bray
28/07/2026: Best cool mom and pop Italian cafe.
Everything is fresh and homemade.
Lovely owners Rebecca and Tony.
We eat here all the time.
Their Lambrusco is particularly good in summer heat of ‘26.
Joint best coffee in Bray - Crêperie Chez Louis on the Main Street is the other.
25/07/2026: A peaceful place with exquisite Italian food. The staff is very friendly. Definitely a breath of fresh air, thanks to the authentic flavors and the bread with olive oil. Mamma mia! 😋

Keanes Oyster Bar
30/07/2026: Staying and dining at Michael & Bridie’s was a highlight of our Ireland tour. The bar stands where cycle route Eurovelo 1 follows 5km of the most dangerous road I have ridden in Ireland. We were relieved to reach it alive, stash our bikes in the shed and drop into the shower.
My memory claims I have eaten better oysters: once, sitting with a friend and a bucket of lemons and two clasp knives in a dinghy in Broken Bay in Australia. Maybe.
28/06/2026: Probably the best food ive had in a long time
