20/03/2025: The best restaurant I've ever been to in Ireland! Excellent, well-presented food, and a very welcoming waiter. I definitely recommend it!

15/03/2025: We had a delicious meal in Sage last night. Eva very kindly contacted me when a cancellation table became available and we were so delighted to have the opportunity to eat at Sage again. The specials - starter and main - were so flavoursome and there was a great selection of wine. The service was excellent, as always. It was a really delicious dining experience. We’ll be back again for sure.

12/02/2025: No. 35 came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. Every dish was just perfect. And the staff were so friendly and welcoming. One of the best meals I’ve had in years.

15/01/2025: We had made a reservation at this lovely restaurant for our one night in Kenmare. We were seated on time upstairs , which was a quiet and cozy room with only a few tables. The wine selection was good and we had a wonderful meal, easily the best meal we had on our entire 10 days in Ireland. We started with the pear, pecan and blue cheese salad, a nice portion, easily split for two people with just the right amount of dressing. The Mancini balls with goat cheese were very tasty. Our meals were delicious , the hake with potatoes and leeks and the lamb ragu. All of it was outstanding. However, the service was terrible. Our waitress, Emily, was impatient and rude. We asked a few questions as it was our first time dining here and wanted a few moments to look at the menu. She rolled her eyes at us the first time and the second time when she returned with our water when we had a question about the wine. When we asked if we were bothering her, she said no but proceeded to ignore our table the rest of the evening , notably chatting and serving other tables nearby. We are not difficult patrons and are very engaging and gracious to those that work hard in restaurants. We didn't let it ruin our meal. Her lack of service was reflected in her lack of tip and we did speak to the manager on the way out when he asked us how our meal was. I would return because of the outstanding food, but ask for a different server.

06/03/2025: Morans will always be top tier! Charming little cottage that pumps out some seriously good seafood! If you haven’t been, what are you doing? Perfect pint of Guinness and a great selections of wines. The mussels and crab claws are always a must. The only problem I’ve ever had is trying to decide what to order.

18/03/2025: Ard Bia es cálido y acogedor y Roisin proporcionó un servicio tan amable. Incluso nos dio una lista de paradas obligadas para nuestra excursión a Clare. Mis hijas disfrutaron del halloumi carbonizado con aguacate y huevos escalfados y la trucha ahumada caliente con huevos escalfados, y yo estaba más que feliz con el mejor bollo y capuchino que he probado. Aunque Galway fue un placer visitarlo, extrañaré no poder cenar aquí lo más posible.

18/03/2025: I did a walk in on a Friday night without reservation. It was a fully packed night. But the girls managed to give me a seat at the bar table ! It was very special not only that I got chat with all the girls working there, also got great recommendations from them on food, drinks even where else I can go! They were very apologetic turning customers away but they also gave recommendations to other places where they can eat and drink, which I have not seen anywhere else! The food was delicious, i ordered the medium rare ribeye which cooked perfectly, paring with the Syrah! What a great place to enjoy a night at Galway!

02/03/2025: Stopped in for some fish n chips on the way back from my son’s match. He asked me to get Catch of the Day but I went to the food truck next door instead. He was not impressed so I went back and got Catch of the Day kids meal. When we compared the two meals the COTD was far far better quality and value than the other food truck. I won’t be making that mistake again!!

25/02/2025: This restaurant never disappoints. The food is a journey. The menu is an ever changing adventure. Eating here you could be anywhere in the world.. The chef and team bring it all. Must visit. 10/10

12/01/2025: First time trying food from here and I will admit I am very disappointed. Ordered from here for takeaway on the trial weekend and after travelling from skreen the whole way out and back we realised 2 of our items were not on the bag! I understand that they were probably busy especially with them only now offering takeaways but when you pay €60 for a meal you expect to receive the entire thing. Also we were unable to pay using a voucher but no reason given as to why but I suppose as not grateful for as now I have requested a refund for the items missing. The food also was nothing to be going mad about which again for a €60 meal I would’ve expected more especially when comparing the price to portion size. All in all I was very disappointed and again I do understand that given the circumstances with it being the trial runs for takeaways they were probably under pressure but I feel like a big priority is to make sure people are getting all that they ordered especially when unless you live in strandhill you are travelling a good bit of distance to get the food in the first place

23/03/2025: Food, staff, atmosphere. Unbelievable. Easily located, so accommodating. Staff are unbelievably good with how attentive they are to dishes and pairings. Any questions asked you're still made feel welcome. Will be back again and have already recommended multiple people. Cheers for a great evening and delicious food and drinks. Ps even a late serve that is sold out they will find a way to make something work. That is unheard of!

17/02/2025: This has to be one of the best dishes I have had in Dublin - Seafood Medley. I am obsessed with the sauce. You wouldn’t want to stop. It’s so good. This was my second time here and I am still amazed at how good it is.

01/02/2025: My favorite cafe in Dublin! It's lovely in all aspects. Not pretentious, not "posh", not artificial. Just amazing panino and cakes served by an Italian couple.

03/03/2025: Nice Medditerinan-looking restaurant in Waterford, on Saturday we couldn't get a booking so we booked for Sunday. The menu is not impressive that much, they need to improve the menu and add more Mediterranean dishes, it looks like they are trying to keep the menu ordinary but the design of the place is Mediterranean. We ordered a burger and pasta with jumbo prawns. My pasta was almost cold, with no steam not warm enough, you can see in the pic I added the cheese even not melted. I loved the treat; olive and butter with sourdough bread. And the red wine I ordered was good though :))

28/02/2025: Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Ordered a good variety of food which all tasted amazing, highly recommend the steak. Can’t talk highly enough about the place and would recommend to anyone visiting the area

01/11/2024: Been a few times over the years which have been fantastic. However this time wasn't great since they moved location. Chips clearly frozen, fish ok but scamp was tough. Not sure what happened this time

29/10/2024: Very disappointed after hearing all the hype about this place, fish and chips were not great batter not nice ,scampi was the worst I've ever had in my life ,only ate two pieces as it was like chewing rubber it was completely disgusting and was clearly overlooked .Won't be trying again.

01/03/2025: 5/5. We had a great experience. Attilla was perfect. Food gorgeous. Cocktails good. But service to be honest was perfect. Exactly the rate mix of helpful and efficient. As a wheelchair driver, we barely got out the question “Is it Wheelchair accessible “ when we were brought in under the table was beside the door he used…. Definitely, the next trip to Dublin will involve another trip to the boxty house.

27/02/2025: Fab atmosphere, we had not booked but we were offered a table. It was midweek and I would imagine booking essential at weekends and further into season. Our host was a lovely person, David. He was helpful, welcoming and so very funny. He helped us negotiate a menu unfamiliar to us and ensured that everything we needed was covered. I cannot praise him enough. The meal was amazing and delicious. We had a dessert- probably shouldn’t have as we were pretty full from main course BUT it, again, was delicious. David was warned he would have to winch us out of the restaurant! We had a wonderful evening and David made it a very memorable time for us. Thank you!

06/03/2025: Had a fantastic meal here on Thursday 27th February. We had just arrived to Kinsale after a long drive and we walked in on spec, without a booking (not recommended) even though it was very busy the gentleman waiter accommodated us. We didn’t catch his name but was wearing glasses and had very cool tattoos (if you are reading this, thank you again) The meal itself was beautiful and served to perfection. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Really nice atmosphere and vibe in the restaurant too. A lovely place to sit and have a great meal. This was our first meal on our first night in Kinsale and it really set the tone for a great holiday. Thank you.

15/02/2025: I loved everything about this place. It was warm and welcoming after a chilly walk from town. The service was well done and the food choices were unique with something surprising. It was hard to choose. I had an Asian style pork belly sesame broth with egg and vermicelli. Sooo Good!
