16/10/2025: Lovely place! One of the best espresso in Athlone!

16/08/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this café. The breakfast was very tasty, but what really made the visit special was the staff. Everyone was very polite and welcoming. Even though my English is not perfect, one of the staff members explained the menu to me very clearly and patiently, which I truly appreciated. Her effort and kindness made me feel very comfortable. Great service and atmosphere – I would definitely come back!

24/11/2025: Staying in the hotel so passing though and said we'd try it Fancied soup and seen chowder,sorry don't have any, could easily wipe the price off the menu and put N/A Then decided to get a roast meat sandwich, no BBQ sauce, then no gherkins or jalapenos which I would normally get. Ended up with some fatty meat I had to take out and attempt to chew and then leave a lump of fat or that there. The girlfriend enjoyed her wrap, but sad basic chicken and coleslaw, she wasn't asking for much Both personal preference didn't enjoy the "gourmet salad" mostly mixed leafs, so left it Plastic cups not dried properly so stuck together beside the lemon water Friendly staff Definitely style over substance and would not be back, unless using it as a shortcut from the hotel

19/11/2025: Very annoyed after getting 1 latte and 1 hot chocolate and ended up been over charged. She then went to refund me but charged me again. All in total came to 50 euro they took off my card! Latte didnt taste good at all. Service was brutal she ignored us at the till while she was dishing out scones that didnt really need to be done. Overall will never be back and wouldn't recommend this place.

31/10/2025: The Guinness was absolutely woeful, swapped over to Murphy's and it was worse. Stay away for the stouts.

03/11/2025: The girl who took the order was very polite, attentive, tactful, and patient. The order was processed quickly, but it felt like it was being done by an apprentice. It was disappointing. We won't be ordering anything from here next time we're in Athlone.

13/10/2025: Busy little bistro, amazing location, close to river Shannon and Athlone castle. Sean's pub is next door. Good spot for brunch or lunch. Tables felt little bit too close to each other. Service was Ok, slower. Meals were good, tasty. There was only one problem and that was the state of the toilets. Dusty and dirty.

05/05/2025: Service et vue très agréable ! En revanche le rapport qualité prix n’est pas au rendez-vous, le saumon était beaucoup trop cuit.

23/04/2025: Fantastic food. The tandoori lamb rump was amazing!!! Would recommend to come here. The customer service was outstanding too.

23/11/2025: Staff needs addressing or maybe a manger or if manager then a better manager... No one wanted to take our order then 5 of them messing and joking in front of staff. Eventually the food we got was tasty and big portions with plenty of options on the menu. Fresh salad on the side and the burger. Definitely worth a visit as something for everyone, but just don't expect a great speedy service

22/07/2025: Lovely spot in the middle of the town for a coffee pick me up and a slice of cake or bun. It’s v busy but had quite a lot of seating. My son loves the Cornish pasties which make for a lovely breakfast or lunch on the campsite. Coffee is good

22/07/2025: Expérience agréable pour un déjeuner à 6. De bon sandwiches, bien que le pain mériterait de gagner en qualité, et de très bonnes pâtisseries. Beaucoup de choix, le tout pour un prix correct.

02/11/2025: I was very disappointed with the quality of the food — it was inedible, and I did not receive an apology or any acknowledgment of the issue. Being expected to pay full price under those circumstances was extremely disappointing.

24/10/2025: This is a unique, little restaurant in a great part of town. Claude the owner is a gentleman and the food is consistently great!!

17/12/2025: Fabulous service and great atmosphere even for a mid week meal with a basically empty restaurant. Server very attentive and welcoming. For the price point, food was quite underwhelming. Destroyed the pizza with an astronomical amount of garlic paste, charged for the water and chicken overcooked. But left with full stomachs and food not bad enough to complain about.

19/10/2025: Amazing food as good as I have had in a long time was here with the kids and they loved it very friendly and helpful staff.the only thing is the toilets need a bit of attention.but definitely would highly recommend it and will be back again soon.

16/12/2025: Attempted to book, in advance , a dinner reservation for 25 people , they obviously don't need the business as I'm over a week now waiting on a call back as advised by the woman at reception. Thankfully we have been taking care of by the Hudson bay instead.

15/12/2025: We had lunch in the Marina Club. Love the ambiance. I recently stayed in a family suite, and my experience was quite disappointing. First, the in-room TV is extremely limited and outdated—it doesn't even support YouTube or Netflix, which is a basic expectation these days. Secondly, the family suite didn’t even have a fridge, which was incredibly inconvenient. On top of that, I returned to my room at 4 PM to find it hadn’t been cleaned. I had to call reception twice before housekeeping finally arrived—over 30 minutes later. When I asked why my room wasn’t cleaned, the housekeeper simply said, "They forgot." That’s completely unacceptable.
