07/02/2026: We had a fantastic meal in Pavarotti’s. Highly recommend it. The bruschetta, seafood salad, pizza frutti de mare and cannelloni all delicious. Brilliant atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. A point to note you can bring your own wine with a €4 corkage.

02/11/2025: I was very disappointed with the quality of the food — it was inedible, and I did not receive an apology or any acknowledgment of the issue. Being expected to pay full price under those circumstances was extremely disappointing.

09/02/2026: Hi they just we came for Saturday to charcoal grill with my family we are really disappointed food was not fresh chips was sogee pepper sauce was smell and cold my son used salad tests like fish yes somebody cut fish and same kinf using for cut salad and next day my son and my wife got sick service we wait more then 20 mints to take orders and food not came together and very cold we really disappointed and we won't back agin

27/02/2026: Big place, traditional chinese style. Excellent food. Very tasty meals, everything was excellent 👌 we really enjoyed our dinner, shredded chicken with saute sauce and fillet beef with black bean sauce. The service was amazing, very attentive girl, even though it was busy. Definitely recommended, sit in and enjoy.

15/02/2026: I was in for a meal on saturday the 14th of february.i was treated very badly.staff was very rude.waiting for 45 mins for a starter and came out cold.when we asked why was this handed out cold,and we were spoken too like this didnt matter.i would definetly not recommend this place to no one as its overrated and false advertisment to the public

10/11/2025: The food is presented beautifully and cooked with care and skill. I found the staff to be very friendly and attentive. I order the Silver Oak Tandoori mixed platter and it was worth it, with different types of meat that had warm spices and melted in your mouth. I also got the Masala chai as I craved a hot drink while it was raining outside and you could taste all the fresh spices like cardamom, ginger and black pepper. A lovely dining experience.

14/02/2026: We had an amazing dinner on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was beautifully prepared and decorated for the occasion, creating a lovely and romantic atmosphere. The service was excellent — attentive and professional — and the food was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a warm and welcoming place in Athlone town centre. We’ll definitely be back!

05/01/2026: The worst place ever to eat , the food was not hot and well cook and the staff is not friendly as well , we ordered delivery food is very cold and chips and soft drinks is missing and i call them the owner has no manners and tell us dont ever order or come to our restaurant , the worst ever restaurant we had the food

08/03/2026: Looks like they don't have a stove for pizzas, you can probably have a better and not frozen pizza in Domino. And saying they don't HAVE tap water? Good luck people in Athlone but you deserve better restaurant.

31/01/2026: This restaurant is located in a quiet village where the service is super friendly and attentive. As a foreigner, I felt welcome and comfortable with the peaceful atmosphere. My partner ordered the Mafioso pizza (€14.50) and I ordered the Quattro Stagioni pizza, both of which were delicious.

31/10/2025: The Guinness was absolutely woeful, swapped over to Murphy's and it was worse. Stay away for the stouts.

07/11/2025: Tried out The Wandering Elk today and it was absolutely amazing 🫎☺️. I had a toasted sandwich with bacon and chicken that was bursting with flavour 😋. It came with a generous serving of nachos and dip on the side which was such a lovely surprise 🌮. The coffee was rich, smooth and perfect for the cool day ☕. The cookie was out of this world, soft and buttery with a gorgeous white chocolate drizzle 🍪🤍. The 2 lady staff members were so friendly and everything came out fresh, hot and full of flavour 😊. Overall The Wandering Elk is a fantastic spot for lunch or coffee and I’ll definitely be back soon ❤️.

13/09/2025: We stopped here while on a tour to Galway. What a fun atmosphere! A bachelorette party arrived while we were there. So much fun we almost missed our bus to Galway! Pat gave us a hello and great service. Highly recommend!

01/03/2026: Brilliant rustic decor, fitting of a Texan or western American feel. Food was tasty. We got the wings and spicy bag, both of which we really liked. Mash with the bangers and goujons was a bit cold though. Milkshake was yum. Kids meal free with adult meal was a nice touch for the purse.
