08/03/2025: Mi amigo y yo visitamos Caffe 500 para una comida ayer por la noche. Todo fue perfecto desde el saludo hasta la despedida. El personal era absolutamente maravillosamente atento y amable, el ambiente era genial, la decoración es divertida y encanto rústico. Comida y vino deliciosos. Tiramisu sublime. Una velada verdaderamente de 5 estrellas. Muchas gracias.

04/03/2025: Great restaurant. Decor and service first class. Ordered pizzas disappeared in the blink of an eye. They were delicious, nothing to complain about. Worth recommending place for a nice meal. You may need to book a table in advance.

09/03/2025: Second time here and it was a lovely experience. Food was so tasty and loads of flavour and the Malbec delicious. Service excellent, never once had to ask for water to be replenished. Can’t wait for my next visit.

14/01/2025: I had such a lovely and pleasant experience in Lamberts with my six month old. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The seating area was perfect. I didn't feel like my buggy was in the way. Coffee and treat was delish. Exactly what I needed. Even the other customers were friendly.

03/03/2025: Lennons @ Visual are consistently really good! I booked a family group in for a birthday celebration yesterday and the feedback from everyone was brilliant. Really professional staff and the food is 10 out of 10.

24/02/2025: This just my view. While in a party of 8, this is a solo observation. The flavours were superb. I had the duck croutons for starters. There were 3 croutons, each about the size of a dice... eh I'm a big lad, that was nearly 1 bite. Haddock with prawns and mussels main. Again superb taste, a piece of fish 3 inches square, 1 prawn, 3 mussels. Some Nash and green beans. The starter was €15, the main €34. Bottle of OK wine €47. I went home and had last night's leftovers. In short, in my sole opinion, treat your taste buds on a special occasion, but have your dinner before you go if you have a decent appetite.

15/03/2025: I’d wanted to get here last year but it didn’t plan out, so took my parents and the doggo today for a long drive from Dublin to this fabulous cafe on the banks of river Barrow. Firstly the cafe - it is absolutely amazing to find a place run by an entrepreneur who is providing excellent flavourful fresh food, beautifully presented in a place full of history - all the while creating employment in a small community. Kudos 🙌 Not only were we looked after, Mr Doggo 🐶 was treated to a lovely bowl of chicken on the house by the very generous and friendly owner…. He has new fan following - tail wagging all the way back to Dublin. The river meanders through a beautiful lush valley, the walks around here a so picturesque, fills your lungs with fresh air and your soul with tranquility. Visit this gem of a place once and you’ll go back over and over again. I know we will. All at the cafe - thank you - keep up the great work, wishing you very well.

14/03/2025: Never got to try the food because we were told… “ you’ll be waiting a long time” I wasn’t pleased at all! Can’t answer any of the next questions because the wouldn’t serve us! The atmosphere was nice outside by the river

15/02/2025: Ordered food, left waiting 45 minutes only to find out that the waitress never even put the order in with the chef. It wasn't even that busy. We left to go get proper service elsewhere.

15/02/2025: Hola, este lugar en el que hemos estado diría que al menos 6 veces y siempre ha entregado calidad de precio y servicio al cliente. ¡Desafortunadamente esta vez no lo ha hecho! El menú establecido siempre fue de 40 € por persona durante 3 platos y pagas extra por el té / café al final, que está totalmente bien. Antes de salir de San Valentín echamos un vistazo rápido en la página web del menú de muestras y los precios subieron a 49€. 95 y el té / café es extra que todavía pensamos que estaba bien para lo que estás llegando allí. Así que a la llegada nos entregaron un “Menú de San Valentín” que era de € 60 personas para un entrante, plato principal y una selección compartida de postres más té / café. El entrante era encantador, el plato principal era muy promedio de tamaño de porción uniforme del pescado y luego cuando obtuvimos la selección de postres para compartir fueron 4 pequeñas muestras realmente de diferentes postres que formarían un postre normal. Así que en teoría nuestro desglose de precios lo pagamos cada uno, 20€ para empezar, 20€ para nuestro principal y 20€ para una selección compartida de postres de muestra. No pudimos pedir ningún otro menú. Pensamos que esto era muy astuto la forma en que se hizo el menú. También la cerveza de barril no estaba disponible, ya que los grifos no funcionaban, pero está bien que estas cosas puedan suceder. El personal como de costumbre era 10 / 10. Desafortunadamente, no creemos que volvamos pronto. Sé que las cosas han subido desde el precio de la inflación, pero esto fue demasiado alto para lo que se dio en el menú.
