07/04/2026: Very nice food sorry amazing food service amazing staff very nice particularly Marta and Luca as always have time to have a little chat without causing delay the only thing is seats tend to be a bit uncomfortable depending on where u are sitting but precise from that very very nice restaurant

I booked a table for my family (5 ),,really surprised of the serving and staff..really good and tasty food, kids loved the desserts .. at the end they made me a surprise and sang ,,HappyBirthday,, to me.. thanks so much Mimossa Carlow ... ure the best .. we will come back again... great experience ...great day.. ❤️❤️❤️

28/03/2026: Bit over hyped. It was pretty loud and noisy. Food was ok, but not great. Maybe my expectations very set too high by the previous reviews that this would be a decent place. For somebody it might be the perfect place if they want noise of a bar instead of a restaurant because "people are having fun" and you will not be able to hear person sitting next to you unless you shout yourself to the point that it was louder than a busy bar or a fast food. And at the same time owner justifying it to you that your October visit was on Xmas and therefore this is expected. And the fact owner responded defending that siuation made me dislike the experience even more. So maybe this is amazing for somebody, but I don't think I will come again even if they would offer free service.

06/11/2025: My first visit today and will definitely be back next time I’m in town. Gorgeous food, coffee and generally lovely vibes! They have a couple of vegan options too that included the best mushroom soup I’ve ever had :)

21/12/2025: A true rural Irish gem! We visit every Christmas and are always impressed. The Michelin-starred quality is evident in every dish, all made with local produce. Portions are perfectly sized and include lovely seasonal veg. Make sure to book well in advance—it's worth it just for the bread rolls 🍞

13/04/2026: Lovely pub, good beer & food. Knocked down a star because of the older manager berating staff behind the counter while they tried to do their jobs, owners need to give him the marching order ASAP, would visit again, hopefully when that individual isn't there.

07/12/2025: Small gardens and you need to pay fee even to enter coffee shop (not gardens). And queue, of course. Everything is very slow like it is supposed to be in this kind of gardens.

15/03/2026: Really enjoyed our birthday lunch last weekend. The turkey crown with stuffing home made gravy fresh veg and potatoes were delicious. Followed by the fresh cream roulade and an americano. Lots of beautiful flowers to choose from and a world of choice in garden furniture and home furnishings

25/10/2025: We had our wedding in the Woodford Dolmen last weekend, and I am forever grateful!! From the reception staff to the housekeepers, everyone was so friendly. A special mention to the manager, Will, who was on duty the day of our wedding. The food and drinks were of a high standard through our entire stay. All of our guests have been raving about their experiences! Thank you ever so much for helping to make our day so special. We will certainly be back.

01/01/2026: Booked for a New Year's Eve dinner, we've had food here on a couple of occasions and we were never disappointed. We adore this part of the south east, it's a pleasure to eat in this total gem! The very best of Irish hospitality on our door step. Wonderful friendly service, couldn't fault anything. The food is very inventive and fresh, attention to detail is outstanding. Each meal a work of art!

15/03/2026: We called in on the off chance of getting a Sunday roast. We were seated quickly and fed and watered. Served by a young man called Sean who was extremely friendly and very good at the job. Thank you ..
