06/02/2025: Café 500 is a great Italian little mini café the pizza that I had gotten a ham and peperoni pizza the food was good nice and warm but the service was a tiny bit slow but overall I've given it 4 stars

01/02/2025: Found this when in need of a sambo. It was up a side street, say that there was not a large choice in Ballon. But boy this place was the biz for sandwiches. Fresh bread with ample filling. It was a quality morsel,lovely and moist. It would do well in a large populated area.I love to try out their brunch/breakfast. Loved all the clocks on the walls. Staff were good and weren't like.

12/01/2025: Really disappointing to be told you can't order a bowl of mash for a 6 month old baby. Asked why and was told 'we just don't do that', even though there is an option of mash on the kids menu.Then on top of that got our original order for our other child wrong and had an attitude when told that's not what we asked for. Won't be returning to a usual family favourite. Menu slightly changed also, really annoyed.

14/01/2025: I had such a lovely and pleasant experience in Lamberts with my six month old. Staff were welcoming and friendly. The seating area was perfect. I didn't feel like my buggy was in the way. Coffee and treat was delish. Exactly what I needed. Even the other customers were friendly.

11/11/2024: Nice place near the river. It’s at the border of Carlow and Kilkenny county. Place is around 35-40 min drive from Carlow town. They had lots of vegetarian options and taste was nice. Staff were nice and experienced. Portions was also nice enough and price was also not too bad.
