05/11/2024: Have been using this restaurant often. On my last order I was sad to see when I drove the 8 km home that no rice is provided like it used to be. No longer convenient food as I had to set about cooking my rice. Not much help phoning to point it out either.

20/10/2024: Such a warm friendly welcome. My son was made to feel so special last night. I had the house chow mein, my son had chicken balls, rice curry and chips. I would highly recommend.

14/11/2024: I recently discovered this fantastic Asian restaurant for lunch breaks, and it’s become my go-to spot during work! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, perfect for a quick escape in the middle of the day. The menu has a great selection, with every dish bursting with authentic flavors. The service is fast and friendly, which is ideal for a lunch hour. Whether you’re in the mood for something light or craving a hearty meal, they have something to satisfy every taste.

31/08/2024: This spot is perfect for a relaxed and comfortable evening with colleagues- a family run restaurant who give you a big welcome. Food is fantastic and not overpriced- all freshly made in the kitchen . Would definitely recommend- Athy is a lovely market town and the new Ernest Shackleton building next door will be a great draw when it opens.

07/08/2024: Just landed at Shannon airport and came across May’s place in Tuam as a stop for a bite to eat. Absolutely delicious muffins, pastries and I’ve tried my first ‘dirty chai’ - coffee and chai- the combination tastes so good!!! Thank you!!

27/10/2024: Unfortunately the service is brutal, delivery has to be the biggest problem, already paid for my order but it doesn't include a delivery fee? Cash has to be paid for delivery? Seems a bit pointless considering I've already made a CARD payment? Why can't this be included instead of having to run around looking for spare change when the delivery driver shows up? Sort it out!! Highly unprofessional...

08/10/2024: Very disappointed. No, it wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t anywhere near the reviews I read. Food was supposed to be very spicy. I was even asked to confirm I’m aware of it. It was bland! Absolutely no spice! I could give to a three year old without any protest from their side. But it wasn’t bad, it was more like average. My wives one was quite ok though. Now for the service. It was really good and I was very happy. Until… all of sudden all the servers went missing. It was about 15-20 minutes before closing, I would NEVER overstay. I know how it is. Worked few restaurants in my life. So I was quite shocked. Also, nobody wanted to take a payment. I was told in quite rude way that I need to go to the till and pay there. As if it was obvious? The place looks pretty nice. But I don’t think I’ll be ever back. The other Asian place just next door is way ahead in quality and service. Oh, and before I forget. No bundles. No special offers. All that stuff you see on google? Long gone.

30/10/2024: Avoid at all costs. Fillet of Beef is not Fillet it is a cheap cut of beef stewed which you can taste. Food is less than a takeaway standard. Worse chinese I have ever had could not eat it.

30/10/2024: We’ve visited good world a few times over the last 10 years and it hasn’t really changed. The staff are lovely and the dining room has a nice vibe. But sadly the food is poor. The menu is big on choice but the quality of ingredients isn’t great. The dim sum for example are all the same frozen ones from the Asia market nearby. And the meat used in the main dishes is most likely frozen too, with no provenance listed on the menu. So too with the sauces, clearly made from packets or pastes. With so many cuisine options now available in Dublin, and the standard so high, it would be great to see a restaurant like good world up their game and showcase some regional chinese dishes, but more importantly, made using fresh produce.

03/10/2024: Most horrible chinese food experience ever. Not only was the restaurant a very bad atmosphere, with a dying fish in the fish tank. But worst of all, it was disgusting food. Everything was undercooked; there was absolutely NO seasoning, the chips were raw, and the chicken balls were burned on the outside. I ordered salt and chilli chicken and it had no spice whatsoever, I had to add my own salt and chilli. Overall I’m extremely upset because we payed €30 for this food and barely ate any. I would recommend going to any other chinese just not this one.

25/10/2024: Was here for dinner this evening with the lovely Ursula Nice cosy spot. We were warmly greeted by the excellent staff and shown to our table. The service is top class. We had great attention shown to us throughout the meal. The food is superb! We had spring rolls, spicy chicken wings for starters which were delicious. The main courses of chicken satay and beef with black bean sauce and egg fried rice was superb. Also great value and don’t forget to tip the lovely staff, they’re great! Highly recommended
