08/12/2023: Absolutely the best Asian takeaway in Drogheda!!! Restaurant food that tastes like home cooking 😍 This review is long overdue as we are always soooooo excited to eat, that I forget to take any pictures, as you can see I almost forgot it again... 😅 The Super Spicy Bag is our family favourite, the chips are fresh and crunchy, and the seasoning is always on point! My favourite is the Duck Thai Green Curry, the duck is super soft, and the curry is super creamy and spicy. My son's favourite is the House Special Dry Chow Mein, the smoky flavour on this is amazing. My wife is always trying something different from their menu, which has never failed her. If you are looking for great Asian food, give this place a try, you won't regret it! 🙂👍🏻

21/11/2023: As a loyal customer I honestly love the staff there, they are very nice every time I go there! I definitely recommend! Highly recommended the Taro ice tea. If you are picky just kindly as it to be substituted not all are easily English speaker but generously is always kind when getting to know your baristas.

22/03/2024: My family loves Chinese food and we like to try different restaurants. On Golden Jade food didn't look appetizing. The food was bland and the chicken tasted not fresh out of the freezer. The atmosphere looked very nice but the service could have been nicer. We never get back to this restaurant.

15/01/2024: Update Jan 2024: The place is now closed due to Food Safety Authority closure order. No date is given when it can be back. I hope they can fix all the food safety issues and come back soon. A real Hong Kong-style duck. Impressed. The place is tiny and quite packed. One long shared table and the rest are high chairs. Prices in the range under EUR 10, going up a bit since 2020, but still a very reasonable for the portion. Sprinkles of chili oil or sweet chili sauce will magically upgrade your rice box. Recommended.

18/03/2024: Visited here with family on St Patrick’s Day and it was a bad experience for all. Food not great and staff not friendly. Would not go again.

23/02/2024: Lived in Dunmore East for well over a year and was blessed that this Chinese was in the area. A very clean and a very well ran business that does not cut any corners. Staff and delivery driver are lovely people. I've ate from many Chinese restaurants and this is by far the best. Food is fairly priced, and you can taste that the meat is of a good quality. Goodbye Star house, I'll definitely miss your house special, and those chicken wings.

19/03/2024: Ordered takeaway from Just Eat tonight. Collection time was 25 mins after ordering, but I had to wait a further 20 minutes for the food. No apology and no explanation. If I hadn't already paid on the app, I would have left. Food was alright but nothing special.

26/03/2024: Firstly, I really like the food. The chips are more less oily made, a little spicy and a good aftertaste. The chicken, is good not the best chicken I have eaten from a Chinese takeout. All in all, I am no critic. But I am a weekly costumer and sometimes 2 times a week. Excellent place to order takeout. 4/5

25/03/2024: The service tonight was great, even though I went in by myself, I felt like I was well looked after. I dropped my chopsticks before my meal and a young member of the wait staff had a new pair for me straight away. I will be back!

23/03/2024: We have sat in here a number of times and the food and service was excellent. The food was fresh and tasty. We have had takeaway here a number of times and it is hit or miss. The last one we got was just a load of reheated stuff thrown into a box. I don't understand why restaurants do this. It might save them a few quid in the short term but there is so much choice now in dungarvan that we will think again before going back for another takeaway.

22/03/2024: DISGUSTING- avoid at ALL costs. I’m writing this review 5 minutes after collecting my order - shows how bad it is. €36 euro for that terrible excuse of a Chinese in the picture is a complete joke! ‘Salt and chilli chicken’ not a single chilli or bit of seasoning and tastes like soap. Tastes worse than frozen chicken so god only knows what it actually is. Picture of the chips are self explanatory. Egg fried rice - such a simple thing they’ve managed to completely and utterly ruin. Wouldn’t feed a wild animal that food! Although the animal would smell it and be smart enough to turn its nose up at it. I genuinely think the other reviews on here are from fake accounts or bots. I don’t believe anyone on earth could enjoy that food.

12/03/2024: The food was full of flavour. I got to try beef and it was so tender. Duck was delicious too. Highly recommended. The staff was always taking care of us.
