17/09/2024: Ordered a spice bag with no veg and a tub of honey, I was expecting it to be worse, but the chicken and chips were made perfectly. Nowadays when you order the same thing from a different place the chicken is mostly batter. Not here, the chicken was indescribable. I recommend, delicious.

09/02/2025: Group of 6 on 8th February 2025. Thick soup was definitely thick and so was I, the more the evening went on. One of the starters of spring rolls were still frozen in the centre. Now you know it's never made on site just bought in Frozen. I ordered Fillet steak and it smelled Ok. That's where it ended. Some of the thin strips of steak were still attached to a rubbery skin like layer and un-chewable. The whole plate of food was adhered to the plate in what looked like Cloudy congealed egg white. Probably some sort of MSG. They certainly didn't sprinkle it on. It appeared as if the pack had fallen in. My dish wasn't the only disaster and when we were asked at the end if everything was Ok., I said no and told the waiter it was the worst I'd ever eaten. I didn't cause a scene as I was in company but I can safely say you are taking a MASSIVE risk if you go here. The only reason I gave 1 star was so I could leave a review.. Oh and the one bottled beer I had, was good. In my honest opinion, this has to have been the worst Chinese restaurant experience I've ever had and I'm no teenager. I'd try anything once and twice If I liked it but this place is Total rubbish. Avoid at all costs or it'll definitely cost you..

09/02/2025: Food was disgusting had to send back spring rolls as the came frozen in the middle and the beef,ginger,spring onion was so thick and gloopy it was disgusting,,,never again..

10/02/2025: Ordered food 2 weeks ago it was gorgeous. Went ago the following week and feel like it was a different chef. Food was rotten. Wont be let down again. No consistency.

27/01/2025: I’ve been going to the oriental for years and have always has a pleasant experience and great food. However, there seems to be a new young member of staff who has made my experiences very unwelcoming recently and perhaps might drive me away. She has made faces of disgust while looking and me and my mother as well as obviously pointing at us and laughing to another co worker about us. It made me feel horrible and very unwelcome. I’m more than certain she was making fun of me and if not it’s very disrespectful behaviour. She was strawberry’s blonde, around 5’5 and big build. I thought she answered to another co-worker by the name “Mel” but im not sure. Hope this behaviour is sorted out so i can back to enjoying my Chinese peacefully. Please train your staff to know good hospitality.

02/02/2025: Not open when advertised. Came here on a Sunday hoping for a bite to eat and they are closed. Only the biggest fools would close a restaurant on a bank holiday Sunday that would be their busiest time since Christmas. I won't be returning, they dint value the buisness. Also their spice bags are remarkably bland.

19/12/2024: I had the most incredible takeaway experience at this restaurant, thanks to the amazing lady who went above and beyond to accommodate my unique dietary needs. I have a low-FODMAP sensitivity, am gluten intolerant, and also allergic to gums and starches (which are often used in gluten-free cooking). Despite these challenges, she took the time to carefully listen and truly understand my restrictions. She worked closely with the kitchen to create a safe and delicious meal that didn’t include any of my allergens. Her patience, attention to detail, and genuine care were absolutely heartwarming. Dining out with allergies can be daunting, but her efforts made me feel completely at ease. I highly recommend this place for anyone with complex dietary needs—it’s a rare gem!

19/01/2025: El curry rojo es casi insípido y tan acuoso. Por lo general, cualquier curry rojo que he probado es dulce y un poco picante. El de Cos era como leche, casi sin sabor. Fue horrible.

31/10/2024: The food was AMAZING, the portions were the Perfect size and the service was very friendly and nice. They refilled our prawn crackers as mamy times as we wanted. Definitely recommend.
