18/03/2025: Stopped off to have a light lunch. Went into coffee shop as the pub did not seem to serve food. The coffee shop is nicely decorated, and there are lots of cakes to choose from. However, it does not serve any gluten-free items. Very disappointing. It's not that much of an inconvenience to stock some packaged gluten-free items. 😞

17/11/2024: Had the pleasure of having a few nice pints at John Longs recently, very friendly staff and good craic with a few local patrons. Looking forward to the next time.

31/08/2024: Heard a lot about Tin Tai and tried Tin Tai. Highly priced and food is not worth the price. Curry sauce was charged very high. Spice bag has very small portion of chicken, no flavour and lot of chips. Better Chinese options available in Letterkenny.

13/03/2025: The blandest Cantonese chicken I've ever eaten. It was actually the blandest thing I've ever eaten, really disappointed considering the place has 4.4 stars on Google :(

24/08/2024: Dragon Palace - A Disastrous Experience I am deeply disappointed by my recent experience with Dragon Palace, a restaurant that was once my family's favorite. We ordered food for what was supposed to be a special celebration, but it turned into a nightmare. First off, the food took over 90 minutes to arrive. By the time it finally did, it was stone cold, barely edible, and far from the quality we used to enjoy. The delay and the poor condition of the food completely ruined our evening. To make matters worse, when I contacted the restaurant, I had to argue just to get my money back. The customer service was shockingly unprofessional, adding insult to injury. I will never order from Dragon Palace again. They’ve lost a loyal customer, and I can’t believe how quickly they went from being a family favorite to an absolute disaster. If you’re considering ordering from here, think twice—you might end up with a ruined night like I did.

14/03/2025: I visited Teng's tonight and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We were looking forward to a satisfying meal, but what we received for €24 was simply unacceptable. While I typically avoid complaining, I felt compelled to share my thoughts. The food fell far short of expectations, and we ended up feeling worse than when we arrived. Despite the lovely service from our waitress, the quality of the meal was shocking, and, sadly, I had to throw it away. Based on this experience, I won't be returning anytime soon.

03/03/2025: Ordered food from here this evening spent €20 on nothing really… went home and wasn’t satisfied with the food so we brought it ALL back down because the chicken balls we’re disgraceful… the elderly woman behind the counter said she could refund me for the chicken balls but not for the rest as it was just the chicken balls that were bad… I laughed and said so were to leave with €10 and no food??? Absolute joke lads I had to argue with the woman for my money back! Will not be going there again!! KIP

12/02/2025: First time ordering from here tonight because my usual place was closed. I got the mega box and it was gorgeous and ordered fried rice extra and extra curry sauce. Plenty of food for 2 with some left over, good value which is hard to get these days. Will definitely be ordering again and the delivery driver was lovely and very polite.

15/02/2025: Food is actually good but the front of house staff are the worst we’ve ever come across. Rude taking the order and even worse again when collecting our order. An online ordering system and delivery only might be a better option than this place!!!

18/01/2025: Food was fantastic but they mixed up orders and we got half of what we ordered and the rest was wrong which obviously we only realised when we got home. We still ate everything and it was fantastic however 👏

06/03/2025: The takeaway food is excellent and best in the town. It's just a pity the manager did not think more of the restaurant. It is like sitting in an easyjet plane. Benches that are orange, plastic flowers from alie express, fish tank decorations on plates. The Chap serving the tables is very polite, but has no idea how to serve at tables. Disappointed for a restaurant. And the stairs area needs a make over and cleaned up.

19/09/2024: Unfortunately we chose to dine here tonight 18/09/24, I ordered beef curry&rice, my partner ordered prawn curry with rice and a bottle of house wine to share @€22 total bill just shy of €57, my partners prawns and rice were fine but the curry sauce was like runny yellow vomit with a few frozen peas chucked in, my beef was like leather, it was so sub standard that my Jack Russell 🐕 would struggle to get his teeth into it, I requested to speak to the chef to relay my dissatisfaction, but the waitress informed me that the chef was new and he doesn't speak/engage with customers or entertain their valid complaints/concerns but as a gesture of good will she offered to reduce our bill by €4 euro. In my honest humble opinion this is the worst Chinese restaurant that I have ever dined in, I have never in my lifetime left negative feedback for any restaurant or hostilely that I have visited and if it was possible to leave zero stars then I would have. I have no problems with the waitresses as they were very professional and efficient, but when the chef treats you with utter contempt and fails to address the issues at hand, that I do have a problem with, the food was sub standard and to me that's taking my hard earned cash under false pretences, by dishing up what's basically junk food. I do sincerely hope they learn some little bit from my honest feedback. We were the only two patrons in the restaurant at this time tonight. I wonder why??
