26/05/2025: Ordered food here a couple of times, order has never been wrong but on the last order I had a megabox rice and curry sauce, I had only eaten about 1/4 of it and an hour later was getting really bad pains in my stomach, to then be violently sick through the night. I am still very unwell today. I will be in to inform alisans of this when I feel well again. Not happy at all.

12/06/2025: amazing AMAZING food. me and my friends got egg fried rice, fish and chips, chinese style duck, chicken noodles and a noble house special, as well as an eton mess to share for dessert. it was definitely one of the best meals we've had over the last few weeks as well as the most stunning !!! the food's flavor is perfectly balanced and it's sooo filling as well, completely justifying the slightly high price. the staff is also very very nice and courteous and patient. we'd definitely come here again if we ever came back to ireland.

16/03/2025: Extremely disappointed and not for the first time. Ordered sweet n sour chicken, no taste at all to it, chicken didn’t feel right worse one I’ve ever had. I didn’t send it back, I’m not one for trusting this action, only ate a small amount and told the waitress my disappointment. Woman (manager/owner) came and because I didn’t complain at the start and let them know she did nothing about it! She was very rude and not apologetic in the slightest and didn’t offer me anything in a way of compensation. Never going back again!

25/06/2025: Ordered noodles and rice with beef and a few other bits from LAM cuisine, absolutely incredible! The beef is honestly the best I've had in kilkenny. So soft and flavour full. Portion sizes very good making it great value for money. Highly recommend 👌

01/06/2025: Lovely gem of a place. I had the hot and sour soup minus the prawns and it was delicious. Followed on with the chicken schezuan and fried rice. Lovely dish. Rice was beautiful and schezuan itself was good...maybe not as good as that soup but will definitely be back here

19/06/2025: Since this restaurant opened, I’ve occasionally ordered takeaway from here. Unfortunately, many of my experiences have been very disappointing. For example, if we don’t pay in cash, they force us to pay by card and charge extra fees. Even after payment, they never provide a receipt. In recent months, the food quality has clearly declined. The meals often arrive undercooked, the stir-fried dishes are burnt and emit a pungent, unpleasant smell. The chips are not fresh, seemingly reheated leftovers that were already spoiled. After eating, I often experience stomach discomfort the following day. Around 6 PM on several evenings in May and June 2025, I ordered two spicy meal boxes and some stir-fried dishes for myself and my girlfriend. She felt unwell within minutes of eating. The next morning, I woke up with severe stomach pain, to the point that I felt like I was dying. The symptoms were very clear — a case of mild food poisoning. I have already visited a doctor, and it is clear that the food caused the illness. This takeaway is challenging the authority of food safety and public health agencies — they clearly do not care about the safety or well-being of their customers. Selling spoiled or mishandled food is not only irresponsible, but also a serious threat to customers’ health, with the potential for severe consequences. I used to stay silent and tolerate the issues — but not anymore. To everyone reading this review: please do not order food from here. Just walking into this restaurant and opening one of their sealed containers, you can see the extremely poor hygiene conditions. They do not meet even the most basic sanitation standards. I deeply regret ever ordering from here. It was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. The doctor’s note clearly links our food poisoning to this takeaway. DO NOT EAT HERE. PROTECT YOUR HEALTH.

16/06/2025: As someone who lives nearby, I truly hope this space can be run by someone who’s transparent and committed to the local community. There have been past disputes involving tenancy or business takeover deposits, and it’s sad to see people losing money. If you’re considering leasing this shop, just make sure you get legal documents and proper agreements in place. The community deserves fair and trustworthy businesses.

04/06/2025: This restaurant opens late, 11pm. Staff were very friendly and service was very quick. Ordered the fillet beef black bean and the veg kung po with egg fried rice. Had the spring roll and won tons to start. Food very nice, good portion size. Would revisit. The only thing I wasn't keen on and see it more and more is main course doesn't include rice/noodles in price so it is a bit pricey then for a main course. Our total for 2 was about 65, included 2 starters, main course, glass of wine and 2*fizzy drinks.
