18/10/2025: This place has some serious issues, first of all the i found the place not Hygienic i got a table next to a leaking wall and a bucket below it to collect the water. The service was poor, and disrespectful. I never asked for tap water but she provided with one and it literally had mud in it. I won't recommend this place unless you want to get sick eating from here.

05/08/2025: Excellent Chinese, full menu with lots of choices. Service was friendly and the food delicious. We ate in the dining room and enjoyed a pot of tea with our meal. They were very busy with take out, yet took great care of us too. Highly reccomend!

15/03/2026: We booked a table today for 5 o clock it was our first time here and they certainly didn't disappoint, upon arrival the lovely friendly staff gave us a warm welcome, very attentive and polite. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious, we all enjoyed it. No complaints whatsoever. I would highly recommend it and we will definitely be back. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Thanks for taken good care of us.

22/10/2025: I ordered jasmine tea, Chinese dumplings, steamed, the wonton soup, and the duck with Szechuan sauce and a side of noodles. The service was great! I think they do a lot of take-away orders, so they were busy but I arrived around 5pm and the dining room was empty. I was sat near a window and the server brought over a gas space heater since I was rain-drenched! Shortly after ordering I was brought the tea, a small pitcher of water with lemon, and a basket of large shrimp crackers, possibly house-made! The dumpling skin was thin and the ingredients tasted fresh the wonton soup was in a approximately 12 oz cup and was full of thinly sliced carrot, cabbage, and wontons. The duck was crispy and the sauce was mildly spicy (for me) and in generous portion. The noodles were thin and well-seasoned with veggies, and the whole side dish had wok hei! I stayed for a while to digest and wait out some of the rain and the staff was patient and did not bother me. By the time I left there were about 4 or 5 more tables sat. The whole place was very clean, including the table ware. I was told about this place by my Chinese Air BnB host, and it did not disappoint! Total bill was around €39.

03/12/2025: First time ordering from Sunshine Palace and I will definitely be ordering again. The staff are a delight to deal with. I have been eating Chinese food since 1979. I ordered two different dishes and a side. Everything was perfect. Quality and quantity. Absolutely delicious!10/10

14/01/2026: Atmosphere and service were great. However chicken fried rice was good except the rice felt like plain rice and not enough flavour. It felt like the chicken carried most of the flavour. Would be 5/5 if the rice gad the same nice flavour as the chicken.

09/02/2026: On what can only be described as one of the wettest days known to modern civilisation, the sort of rain that makes you question your life choices, I met my better half after her Pilates class just up the road. It was a random Tuesday, the sky was staging a full theatrical meltdown, and we decided we deserved a small victory. Enter Noble House. We burst in from the monsoon like two survivors of a maritime disaster and immediately found a lovely buzz in the place. People tucked into plates of food, glasses clinking, warm chatter bouncing around the room. It felt like stepping into a dry, glowing sanctuary where bad weather simply isn’t invited. The staff greeted us with proper warmth, the kind that makes you unclench instantly. My girlfriend ordered a Chinese tea that arrived steaming like a miniature hot spring, thawing her back to life sip by sip. I went for a coffee, strong and comforting, the culinary equivalent of a firm handshake. Then came the starters. Spring rolls that shattered with a crisp crackle, releasing fragrant, savoury filling that demanded immediate respect. The squid was tender, lightly crisp, and dangerously moreish, disappearing from the plate at a speed that suggests we should have ordered two. For the main event we shared the beef Szechuan. And this is where things got serious. Glossy slices of beef coated in a sauce that was rich, spicy, and gloriously aromatic. Each bite delivered warmth and punch without going overboard, the sort of dish that makes you lean back and nod in quiet approval between mouthfuls. All of this enjoyed from a cosy booth that felt tailor made for a proper catch up with your missus. Rain hammering outside, great food inside, and that smug satisfaction of knowing you’ve made the correct life decision. A simple midweek date night that turned into a small, delicious triumph. Exactly what was needed.

20/10/2025: Ordered food for pickup on their website at 6:30 on a Sunday. Arrived to collect at 6:40. Staff couldn’t find my order initially until I gave the order number off my confirmation email. Said it’d be ‘a few more minutes’. Was finally ready at 6:55. My unusually long wait suggested they started cooking it after I arrived. Food was fine, as usual.

27/09/2025: The food is delicious, I prefer less black pepper, but it depends on personal taste. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiters are also good.

08/11/2025: Really bad food. Bland no flavour and all the meat is overcooked and dry

12/12/2025: Decent Chinese restaurant. Lights were dim, needed a torch to read the menu. We didn't have to wait long for our starters, they were the most delicious part of the meal. The chicken chow mein was said to be served with vegetables, but they were very few. The chicken was very tender and there was plenty. It wasn't overly flavoured. The dessert was not worth the price. It was small and the flavour of the ice cream was disappointing. There was a bit of salt on top of some chocolate, and I could not find any caramel. The atmosphere was nice, they had a bubbly fake aquarium. The noise echoed quite a bit, though, making conversations hard to follow at times. Over all, Ling's is a decent restaurant, but I would not count it among the best Chinese restaurants.
