24/08/2025: The fried calamari and vegetables were very salty. The shrimp were too sweet, terrible cooking.

16/01/2026: Poor customer service. Ordered a roast duckling with seasonings and spices from the starter section. After one taste, it was immediately clear that the dish was extremely salty. We returned to the shop straight away (we were still in the parking lot) with the food, and informed the staff that it was excessively salty. I also told them they were welcome to taste the dish themselves, as that was the reason I came back with the food. However, the staff refused to acknowledge the complaint or check the food. They insisted it was their “standard seasoning” and said we should specify “mild or strong” next time. There is no mention anywhere on the menu that spice or seasoning levels need to be specified. To be clear, the issue was not spice level — it was excessive saltiness, which made the dish inedible. Very disappointing response and lack of basic customer care. Will not be returning.

27/09/2025: The food is delicious, I prefer less black pepper, but it depends on personal taste. The atmosphere is pleasant and the waiters are also good.

22/09/2025: Place is scandalous with the portion size compared to the price I ordered the curry rolls and they where absolutely tiny no filling at all inside 50 euro for 3 scabby meals head to dangs around the corner for half the price

01/01/2026: By far the worst experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Waiting 2.5hrs for food and when it arrived first all the order was wrong and when it eventually came it was stone cold. Paid almost €500. Absolute robbery.

29/10/2025: The food here in Royal China is the best I have tasted in Munster. High quality ingredients and best tasting sauces are served by very lovely and attentive staff. This restaurant is a hidden gem well worth a visit.

29/11/2025: I was in the new Swan Chinese last night and to say the experience was phenomenal would be an understatement. A particular lady called Anita was so lovely to me and prepared my food so well it honestly made my whole day. Not only was the food so great at such a cheap price, But all of the staff and Anita in particular was so helpful when I didn’t know what to order and was so patient with me. I really enjoyed my time in the new Swan Chinese and I will definitely be back. I really recommend this place whether it’s for a night out a special occasion or just a cozy night and they’ll never fail to disappoint

13/11/2025: The food is not bad, But the menu is not user friendly. I ordered Kung Po sauce with Beef, without realising that they put a ton of cashew nuts in the dish....And no where on the menu does it say that.....Was actually hoping for more beef!!!!!

04/01/2026: I had the most amazing Szechuan Duck as take away from this place and I can’t stop thinking about it. It was spicy but definitely good. Big recommend. I did take away so cannot say anything about the service.

24/12/2025: Just got food for Xmas eve and hadn't got food there in a while as the beef the last time had a taste off it like it wasn't left to air after being in vacuum pack or was slightly stale but said could happen so would give another chance. Tonight's beef was fine but rice was undercooked, chips were mostly just crispy bits, all 3 ribs (poor portion) were really well done and fell off the bone but dried out and just sauce thrown on. Chicken wings were rubbish. Prawn crackers were just overpowering with prawn and chicken fried rice was plainer than what I'd have thrown together here myself in a few minutes. Paying premium price for a serious lack of effort or care. Rarely give poor ratings; this one is the result of being very disappointed because food like that shouldn't be dished out anywhere if they care about customers.

29/10/2025: Very bad manners from the owner and staff because of who we are it’s totally racism towards us we feel disgusted me and my 4 buddies came for a meal to pass away a few hours

16/10/2025: Old school Asian food place. Food was ok, nothing to write home about - wasn't bad, but wasn't really good too. We were hungry and it did the trick. The place was a little gloomy, but I guess we came in right after they opened and it was empty, probably a part of it. Wasn't cheap but wasn't expensive either. Would probably won't come back, but I can't say it was bad in any way...

09/11/2025: Very good prices, quiet cozy place, the lunch menu included chicken, pork, and beef.

05/10/2025: Got a takeaway this evening. .rice was clumpy and tasteless.chicken was stringy. Curry sauce was also tasteless and chips were just crap.i think they are new people running it definitely different ingredients will give it another chance because it used to be nice

29/12/2025: Words cannot describe my love for lins palace. Banging spice bag, lovely rice and lovely staff! Quick service and delivery too. What more can you want!!

09/11/2025: We love this place for takeaway. Our favorite is Kung Pao chicken .. very delicious..and the quantities is decent for two people. They give you fired chicken complimentary if your order is above €40. Keep service .. you can even place order online and then collect it in 20 mins

07/11/2025: Went in to order a takeaway, was never in here before.. I was greeted with “what did you order” not a hi hello or anything. Then when the girl with me ordered, he looked at me “will you order together quick” . I had to tell him cancel the order as it was rude! And I’ll never step foot in there again after being spoken to like. Came across so rude as if he didn’t want custom. If it was close to closing time, then change closing time if he doesn’t want to wait there till 11.

02/11/2025: We went to this restaurant last bank holiday. The ambience was nice and the staff were good. But the food that was served to us was very disappointing. We only got 2 spring rolls, 4 prawn toasts, tiger prawn curry, spicy chicken burger. In total it came over 61euros. We had a bit higher expectations for the food quality or quantity due to the high priced rates in this restaurant. Not worth of your money to spend here.
