04/05/2025: Come here roughly once a week after my gym session. Food is very tasty. And service is simply very kind.

18/04/2025: Don’t eat here unless you want food poisoning. Returned a dish that smelt, looked and tasted off. The beef slices had some white patches that could not be wiped off. When I returned the dish the chef said it was starch. Total waste of money

09/02/2025: In my opinion, this place should get an award for the world's worst Chinese restaurant. Terrible experience and when I voiced my opinion it was completely ignored either because of ignorance or lack of understanding of the English language. The food was not edible as it was smothered in some gloop that ( I assume) was MSG so I left it. Another of our group had the vegetable Spring rolls which were frozen in the centres. Be aware. If you want to waste your money then this is the place for you. You have been warned.

09/02/2025: Group of 6 on 8th February 2025. Thick soup was definitely thick and so was I, the more the evening went on. One of the starters of spring rolls were still frozen in the centre. Now you know it's never made on site just bought in Frozen. I ordered Fillet steak and it smelled Ok. That's where it ended. Some of the thin strips of steak were still attached to a rubbery skin like layer and un-chewable. The whole plate of food was adhered to the plate in what looked like Cloudy congealed egg white. Probably some sort of MSG. They certainly didn't sprinkle it on. It appeared as if the pack had fallen in. My dish wasn't the only disaster and when we were asked at the end if everything was Ok., I said no and told the waiter it was the worst I'd ever eaten. I didn't cause a scene as I was in company but I can safely say you are taking a MASSIVE risk if you go here. The only reason I gave 1 star was so I could leave a review.. Oh and the one bottled beer I had, was good. In my honest opinion, this has to have been the worst Chinese restaurant experience I've ever had and I'm no teenager. I'd try anything once and twice If I liked it but this place is Total rubbish. Avoid at all costs or it'll definitely cost you..

20/03/2025: First time visiting this takeaway Food was absolutely disgusting cheese roll where over cooked just soaked in grease satay sauce was the most sweet thing ever meant to be peanut style. The woman on desk was the most rude person I've ever seen customer rang looking for her delivery as she was waiting 2 hours and her reply do I know where driver is. Absolutely shocking customer service avoid at all costs horrible place

30/03/2025: Worst Chinese in Ireland and that’s a guarantee been here twice thought the first time may have been a one off but I was wrong I should have listened to most people I know that have went and said the same thing one of the best chineses is right across the road from this place china inn honestly can’t believe golden phoenix gets customers when china inn is right across the road

18/06/2025: I had a fantastic time dining here! One of the highlights for me was that they serve Tiger draught — cold, crisp, and the perfect complement to the meal. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh ingredients, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried exceeded expectations. The service was equally impressive. The staff were attentive, friendly, and genuinely made us feel welcome when we arrived. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be coming back!

16/05/2025: Every time I go to this restaurant, I will order a prawn cocktail is my favorite. Very delicious. And the the rendang in their restaurant .is delicious . Will not be disappointed.

05/07/2025: Food tasted really good, portions were great and it was hot. However, not sure it was worth it as they must use a tonne of msg and salt (more than your usual Chinese) as we were up all night with the thirst and feeling a bit unwell. We ordered a spice bag, chicken fried rice, peeking spare ribs and satay sauce. All sauces were good, spice bag a little more sweet than spicy. We ordered on a Friday night.

23/06/2025: Ordered take away delivery yesterday evening from Plaza , swords. Food arrived promptly but I have to say this is probably one of the worst chinese takeaway meals I have ever experienced. The spice bag was riddled with salt and the chicken was so overcook and tough it was inedible. The noodles were disgraceful, hard and difficult to eat without chocking, the food was such poor quality , most of it ended up in the bin. Avoid this place, this was not the first time the food was of a poor quality but this was definitely the worst we've had, and we have been eating in the restaurant over 15 years. Shocking quality and not cheap

23/06/2025: We went to the local restaurant with low cuality flavour but the problem is that we found living snails in the pizza when receibed, they resigned to pay back because they said it was our fault. The sanitary rules of the stablishment should be overlooked.

30/03/2025: First time back here in three years. The girl taking the order kept reading is back wrong so it wasn't instilling confidence to start with. General Tso's chicken - apparently sliced breast means a breaded chicken breast sliced into six pieces now. It wasn't good. Three times I asked for Salt and Chilli king prawn as a main course and I got five prawns! And asking for Satay Chicken Skewers I was then asked how many sausages I wanted. Won't be going back and it reminded me of why we haven't been here for the last few years. ‹43 wasted on what was an ok meal if you were on your way home drunk but we weren't and both had a bad stomach the following morning.

03/06/2025: We ordered four soups two chicken sweet corn (which were clearly marked as chicken) and two hot and sour soups. Since there was no mention of any meat in the hot and sour soup, we assumed it was vegetarian. But when we opened them, we were shocked to find unknown meat pieces. We called the restaurant and a lady in charge picked up after which she told us the soup had pork and beef. As Indians, this was extremely upsetting, since eating beef is against our religion. We politely requested if they could replace the soups with either vegetarian or chicken ones. Instead of helping, the lady was rude, helpess, and blamed us for the situation. There was no apology from the resturant side and no responsibility taken. We were the ones who apologised to her for ordering from this restaurant. We also requested her if we can have a word with the owner or the manager but she straight away refused. This experience was not just disappointing but it was disrespectful. We will never order from here again.

29/05/2025: Very tasty! The staff is kind and even gave us candy! There are no minuses, only pluses!!
