17/05/2025: Royal garden is gone very down hill last few months, used to be a lot of people’s go to Chinese but I avoid it now, food is gone dirt.

13/05/2025: We had a super evening at The Royal Garden. It was a sunny Tuesday so it was not busy. The food was top notch and was matched by the service. Thank you Royal Garden, Athy!

19/04/2025: 100% will be ordering again food was absolutely fabbb highly recommend the chicken in black pepper sauce and the fried wantons.. And the delivery service was A+++

31/03/2025: Tried this place for the first time and got the Governor Tso's chicken. The container was barely filled with sauce, so the rice was so dry I had to use my own soy sauce. Chicken felt chewy in the mouth so I cut one open to check it, and it's pink! Can't speak for the other dishes, but this is a terrible standard.

04/05/2025: Come here roughly once a week after my gym session. Food is very tasty. And service is simply very kind.

18/04/2025: Don’t eat here unless you want food poisoning. Returned a dish that smelt, looked and tasted off. The beef slices had some white patches that could not be wiped off. When I returned the dish the chef said it was starch. Total waste of money

15/05/2025: We got a take away before during the week that was delicious but this last one was on a busy saturday night and fell short of nice the duck with the pancakes were over cooked and hard to chew , disappointing.

15/05/2025: Came over from England and was told this was the best chinese in the area, me and My partner really enjoy a Chinese so was really looking forward to this. We got the beef in black bean sauce, spring rolls, chips, chilli garlic prawn with veg and wontons. Unfortunately it was not up to par, the beef was way to strong and the other bits just didn't have enough flavour very average takeaway. Considering we payed €28 we weren't impressed!

25/04/2025: The atmosphere is super nice, the prawn cocktail is delicious. The service is fast and they are super polite.

29/03/2025: Tung sing has really dropped their standards,haven't been in years,I remember tung sing being top class,what we got tonight was awful and bearly edible,charging top prices for poor quality food,We will not be returning.

20/03/2025: First time visiting this takeaway Food was absolutely disgusting cheese roll where over cooked just soaked in grease satay sauce was the most sweet thing ever meant to be peanut style. The woman on desk was the most rude person I've ever seen customer rang looking for her delivery as she was waiting 2 hours and her reply do I know where driver is. Absolutely shocking customer service avoid at all costs horrible place

19/04/2025: Absolutely loved this place, possible the best satay sauce I’ve had. I’m a big lad and couldn’t finish the portion they gave It’s like they put 3 chickens in there. I don’t live near Blackpool but I will likely consider making this my main Chinese. Very happy

20/04/2025: Nettes, modern eingerichtetes China-Restaurant am Rande des Zentrums von Kilarney. Preise sind durchschnittlich bis gehoben, die Freundlichkeit der Bedienungen ist ausbaufähig. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und das Essen schnell geliefert. Ich hatte mich für das Rindfleisch mit Honig-Chili Sauce entschieden und wurde nicht enttäuscht, insgesamt ein empfehlenswertes Restaurant.

30/03/2025: Heard bad things about the food so ordered salt and pepper chips as I thought nothing could go wrong with something so simple, however I couldn’t have been more wrong. Opened the bag of chips and was confused as they seemed to be just normal chips, I genuinely thought they had accidentally given the wrong order however I poured the chips into a bowl and realised there was one or two flakes of onion at the bottom of the bag alongside about 3 pieces of chilli of molecular size and realised this actually is the “restaurants” poor excuse of salt and pepper chips. The chips were so dry and stale that I started coughing while trying to eat them as I could feel the shards of dehydrated chips assaulting my airways. The staff had the audacity to charge me 1.50 for curry sauce which had a similar consistency to liquid concrete. At this stage I came to the conclusion that my best option would be to throw the food in the bin, however before doing so I offered a chip to my dog, to which even he declined. Please never visit this scamming establishment for the sake of your own safety. Genuinely traumatic

02/03/2025: Was here tonight 1st of March,we had no booking, arrived at 17.45 looking for a table for 3 and immediately the tall older waitress said we need the table back after 1 hr and 25 minutes, no welcome or hi folks even though the restaurant was empty,the tall Chinese man served us and he was lovely and attentive and we gave him a great tip,lovely man,miss miserable needs some public relations education..still a great place to eat and will visit again....

23/02/2025: Unfortunately, we may have caught them on a not so great day. Brought to our table and waited 10 minutes to be handed menus. The restaurant was not busy at this point in time. Another table was observed requesting menus when they had arrived also. Upon drinks requests, my partner was handed a bottle of Chinese beer. She had to request the glass. On to starters, the chicken and sweetcorn soup was very good. However, my partner was handed vegetable pancake rolls which felt were missing chilli sauce as is standard in most other places of this cuisine. Things didn't get better for her going forward. Enter mains. Her sweet chilli chicken was very difficult to cut into and extremely dry. After trying it myself, I can confirm that this dish was definitely reheated from the day/night before. On a positive note, my baked chicken in Portuguese sauce was fantastic. Noodles and chips were also very good. Unfortunately, my partner's experience may be the reason we do not return here again.
