01/03/2024: Wouldn't go there second time. There is much more comfortable and less expensive restaurants in Carlow town. Food is usual quality as for Asian food. Location is great. Nearly in the centre of Carlow town. Staff is friendly. Didn't like the wine selection.

04/03/2024: I’ve got a spicy bag now two weeks in a row a the first week I paid €9.50 for a normal spicy and it wouldn’t feed a child never mind a fully grown adult. So I went in tonight the 4/3 and asked for a large spice bag and she said no problem. I get out to the car and ITS THE SAME BLOODY SIZE AS THE OTHER NIGHT!!! and you charged me extra. Only reason I didn’t go back in was that I would have actually been screaming at the lady behind the counter. Not happy at all.
24/02/2024: Charged €7.80 for side portion of bamboo shoots. Definately check your bill...
Not sure what animal the spare ribs were from but there were two tubes of white cartilage going through each piece, one rib bone in full dish. Chow mein the worst I've had, bland boiled.. ugh! Had to add some teriyaki sauce from the cupboard to give it ANY flavour.
Can't think of a worse all round Chinease meal!!!!
If you had made it yourself you would have been disappointed.

05/02/2024: First time to go here, Ordered two spice bags and a sauce for delivery at 11 quid each really disappointed. Foods just about warm and tastes like it was sitting around its almost bland. A spice bag... Bland the most flavour is from the garlic sauce I had at home soggy chips? Little to no veg. Honestly wouldn't go back

The chicken came separate in a bag. Was bone dry. Chips were horrible. Most were brown.

06/03/2024: We went there to celebrate the Chinese New year. I have been to China 15 times now so I know what real Chinese food is. The food in Chuan City is real, proper Chinese food. we also got Sushi (Japanese I know) and it was the BEST Sushi I ever had !!!. What can I say to sum up Chuan City?, well - The food is AMAZING, the price is Great, the staff are super nice and genuinely helpful and friendly, I HIGHLY Recommend Chuan City if you want to experience real Chinese food (and amazing Sushi). One of a few truly Great Chinese Restaurants in Dublin. I cant recommend them highly enough. Not 5 star but 50 star !!!

09/12/2023: I decided to pop in the last night to buy a bag of spicy chips. They charged €4.80 which i thought was a bit steep considering regular chips are €3. The chips were just regular chips with some onion and carrot thrown in. No Spice and No Chili. Waste of Money!
15/08/2023: Delicious! Our first time in Sunshine palace, last week. Zi was our waitress, she was so helpful. She recommended lovely dishes to us. The chicken satay skewers were to die for! The early bird menu is a great deal!
Her other co worker was so kind too.

We booked a table online, but when we reached, we were informed that the boss had not communicated the booking to the staff, so there wasn't a table for another 20 minutes. We finally got a table about half an hour later. Service wasn't great throughout the meal, but the food was great and inexpensive. Would go again for the food.
