01/08/2026: Look if you want to experience the best "Spice Bag" its here no where else as is Chicken Chow Mein, oh and of course Honey Ribs. Nothing on the menu will disappoint you. The staff behind the counter are amazing too and the work rate is staggering and the kitchen is so clean. 👌 I dont do photos of my food it wrecks my head when I see people do that so I've added a photo of Trigger without his brush.

27/07/2026: Order: Chicken chop suey, fried noodles, no celery. For €12.50, this was a pretty underwhelming meal. It filled the stomach... just about. Unfortunately, that's the most positive thing I can say. Taste: Very average. Nothing stood out in a good way and it was noticeably over-salted. Not terrible, I've experienced worse, but definitely not something you'd look forward to eating again. Portion: Average. It was just enough to satisfy my hunger, but only barely. Packaging: Disappointing. The food came in two containers inside a plain brown paper bag. No napkins, no fork, no chopsticks. It's a small detail, but it makes the whole experience feel cheap and unfinished. Final thoughts: If you're hungry, you'll eat it. If you're hoping to actually enjoy your meal, you'll probably be disappointed. There are much better Chinese takeaways around for the same money. Would I order from Jumbo Wok again? No.

30/07/2026: Salt and chile wings, deep fat fried. Teasted of bad oil, no spice. Covered in soy sauce to cover bad quality. Prawns with ginger and spring onion. Ask for some broccoli, charged me €2 for 3 little bits. Charged €6 for a side of noodles Ask for heverlea beer, got a beer, def not heverlea, dont know what it was. Conclusion. Poor food, extremely expensive for what you get. Wouldn't recommend and wont be back.

18/09/2026: This gem is a very short walk from the Hilton Dublin Airport Hotel. The staff is so friendly and the food was amazing. We were pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. Everyone loved what they had so much that we'll be back again before we head home.

20/06/2026: Our main course dishes were nice and tasty, very generous in portion. Side rice, we're ok. My spring rolls were ok, little cool on the inside! Service was quick and polite. Basic interior, but functional.

13/06/2026: We recently dined at Emperor's House in Portlaoise and overall had a pleasant experience. The food was very good, arriving nice and hot, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. That said, we found the pricing quite high, particularly when you consider that all sides are charged separately. For example, BBQ ribs were €10.50, soup was €7, and a spring roll starter was €7.50. Two children's goujons and chips meals came to €24 in total. It's important to note that rice (€4.50), chips (€4.50), and noodles (€6.50) are all additional charges. Sauces were also extra, with curry sauce and honey sauce both costing €5 each. One of our daughters wanted something similar to a spice bag and was served salt and chilli chips (€7) plus salt and chilli chicken (€10.50), bringing the cost of that meal to €17.50 before any extras. Drinks were also on the expensive side, with Heineken Zero and Smirnoff Ice both priced at €5.95, a bottle of rosé at €27, and coffee at €3.90. Overall, I would rate the food 8/10 for quality and presentation. The food and service were very good, but the pricing structure, particularly the additional charges for sides and sauces, made the overall bill much higher than expected.

22/09/2026: Best little hole in the wall. Food was amazing, the service matched. Seriously though, great spot for the best Chinese food.

29/08/2026: One of the best meals I’ve had in Cork! The Egg Fried Rice and the Hong Kong Style Duck were absolute perfection. On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!"

15/08/2026: I'm traveling from Italy, and this place was a pleasant surprise. We ordered takeout. The portions and quality of the food were truly excellent! The owner even gave us some (free) additions, which were much appreciated. If you're traveling or just passing through, this place is highly recommended.

20/08/2026: Fantastic foods, the 1/4 duck was delicious and also the beef fillet with spicy garlic sauce- I have never had such tender and lovely beef. Compliments to the chef. Our waitress was very friendly and efficient. I wish I. Oils take this restaurant home.

13/09/2026: Poor service pacing. Our main courses arrived before our starter platter. When we pointed it out, we were told it was forgotten. They removed it from the bill, but the lack of care ruined the timing of a rare night out without the kids. The food was good, but the service fell short.

17/08/2026: Best Chinese in Tralee. Really miss the limerick location in castletroy which was there yonks back. Great mild and creamy curry, friendly in the Irish stomach. Prawn crackers almost always complimentary. It’s the small things 🙏🏻

27/05/2026: I ordered chicken and chips, but instead I was given a completely different curry dish from what I had requested. I understand that mistakes can happen, but it was very disappointing, especially because it was a takeaway and I only noticed once I got home. Service needs improvement.

27/09/2026: Good food other than that everything is not the best

24/09/2026: We go here regularly. Excellent value for money, with a Sunday lunch menu. A la carte is also reasonable. Food is always excellent. The restaurant itself is beautiful with wooden detailing and silk inserts.

03/09/2026: The service was great, the woman in front was very welcoming and took my order straight away. The noodles here were delicious but I would avoid getting the chicken balls and the chips. Below average and tasted bland. The 4in1 included noodles instead of rice, chips, curry sauce and chicken balls, in total cost €11.90 and no drink included in the meal.
