12/01/2025: Can’t stress this enough do not get a spice bag here. I’m not even sure if what I ate was chicken or a rubber sponge.

15/12/2024: Lovely lady at the counter, the food was fantastic and was served really fast ! Very pleasant experience! Would recommend 👌

17/03/2025: Special fried rice was a very expensive €24. 3 prawns and tiny pieces of chicken. Too dear for what it was . Quite a small glass of wine €7.50. The cost would put us off going back.

27/02/2025: Our first time there was Tuesday, 25th January. The staff (only 2 on at the time and worked their butts off looking after customers) Restaurant was spotless, the food was fantastic. We got the set 3-course meal for 2 @ the cost of €78, and it was all well worth it. The waiter was so attentive. The plates & food came piping hot. Everything in our order was delicious! We most certainly will return - even if we are not necessarily staying in Dundalk, it would be well worth the while to travel from Belfast just for the lovely food & eating experience they provide. Many thanks to the lovely staff & of course, the Chef.

14/02/2025: Not good!! Duck for starters, sauce awful and duck in spring rolls tasteless.. Not usual Chinese taste. Black bean sauce on main course awful. What was wrong with this place tonight. A few weeks ago it was good. Egg fried rice was boiled not fried. Maybe it has a new chef or changed ownership whatever will hesitate to return. Valentine's will be busy in any restaurant but it's an opportunity to promote your business not demote it as happened today!!! Very disappointing..

26/01/2025: First time in this restaurant and will most definitely be the last time. Waited over an hour for one starter to share, that was so poor. Waited another 40 mins after that for two main courses. One of the dishes was horrific, tasted like instant noodles in a bowl of oily water. Menu said it was a chilli paste. Other dish, the beef was so chewy, it was like chewing leather. Chips came out and they were freezing. No apology at all. Had to keep on asking for basics like cutlery, napkins, water, absolute joke. There was takeaways going out every few mins and took two hours wait altogether for a sit in. Then get up to pay and we were standing waiting around there for ages at the till, 4 staff behind the bar and have to ask them can one of them just take payment that we've already waited 2 hours for food. Then I get asked did we not get food at all? Paid €60 for shocking meal. Terrible service and terrible food. Do not recommend to anyone.

05/03/2025: El arroz frito de pollo no se fríe, su arroz recién hervido se calienta en una sartén grasienta... los lados del arroz frito con huevo son los mismos, el arroz hervido se calienta en una sartén grasienta, no se fríe en absoluto. Lo mismo con el pato asado en salsa de limón, calentado sobre arroz blanco grasiento. Deberían quitar el apodo "frito" de todo lo que hay en su menú. Podría ser más saludable de esta manera y la comida no es mala, pero no es lo que el menú dice que es.

05/03/2025: Pedir una carne de curry para llevar era como goma. El arroz especial de la casa era raro. El curry vegetal era insípido. La peor comida china.

09/03/2025: Don't go here with high expectations, used to be good. Has gone down hill badly. messed up orders and not great quality meat, good service but food let down. Don't do Takeout.

17/02/2025: Fantastic food! Order took a long time to come out and wasn’t overly busy, staff were friendly and nice! Big portions too!

10/02/2025: Very friendly service.John was very kind.We sat in for a meal and the food was very good.We had vegtable spring rolls,sweet and sour chicken (child menu)and beef in blackbean sauce.He offered us half and half option for rice and chips.Main course had plenty of beef and veg.

20/03/2025: The place is clean and harmonious, but the service of an old lady is a drawback. She doesn't seem to like children. The food is good, but I won't go back. Because where my son is not well received, I don't fit in either. She doesn't even greet you with a good morning or good evening, the first thing she asks is, do you want a high chair for the baby? The oriental gentleman at the bar is very pleasant. Signs on the door saying to take the stairs and not the lift, I thought that was inhumane. Very inquisitorial signs, close the door as if the people going in were free. I recommend being gentle and light, as you leave your home to eat and not to feel regulated as if it were a dictatorial prison.

15/12/2024: Great service, perfect food. I had special requests about spices and content due to the allergy. Fulfilled exactly according my specifications. Good point: first Chinese restaurant where fried noodles doesn't contain plenty onions or other cheap fillings. Bad point: they don't have chopsticks!!! 🤦🏻 How chinese restaurant can't have chopsticks???

01/03/2025: I put in an order and the food came cold gave me 2 curry dips and no ribs waited for 15 minutes and when we rang up to tell the chinese they offered us an other curry dips as compensation as if we didn't already get 2!

22/01/2025: I ate here 2 of the 3 nights I was in Templemore, a takeout but my food wAs very good and as expected.

09/02/2025: Excellent service, delicious meal, family-friendly & really thoughtful staff.

01/02/2025: Ordered food said 40 mins delivery after an hour rang again said it was on its way. One hour later still had not arrived. Delivery man turned up 5 mins later. Over 2 hours wait unacceptable.

04/01/2025: The WORST Chinese take away in all of Ireland. Two forks in and we knew we couldn’t eat any more. Awful !! an insult to the Chinese Community Fiona from cork

21/09/2024: We were a little apprehensive to order due to reviews from people who stayed at Cottages for Couples which we were also doing; but we could not fault it. We ordered delivery and the food arrived in 17 minutes (we were told it would take at least 25). It was piping hot and delicious. We shared a spice bag, chicken curry, rice and noodles. We will definitely be returning if we are ever near here again. The whole lot including delivery was €25 which was great and the portions were perfect.

07/01/2025: Jasmine was the best Chinese in the.town for many many years........sadly no longer. Got 2 meals from here within 2 weeks. 1st was freezing cold and rice seemed reheated. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and said I would try again. I did mention about the previous issues when ordering but sadly they were obviously not listened to. Food cold again and absolutely no flavours from the meals at all, rice was clogged in the dishes and seemed they were just slightly warmed per order. Never again. The Jasmine House will no longer be an option in our house. And I've also had family and friends that have had similar issues.

04/03/2025: Very let down by yous guys I am going there years . I ordered salt and pepper chicken no taste of pepper or salt and in a dark black sauce .. very bad also got king prawn they where over cooked when biting into them they where very hard and dry .. the chef is very lazy or looking his way out of things .. rang up was told to freeze my food and take it in tomorrow.. I will never go back to this place .. was let down big time and the staff did not deal with this any way good .. never again from Dundalk town .

04/03/2025: Got salt and pepper chicken know taste at all and came in a black sauce the over all taste was like eating card board .. plus the king prawns was like someone that was dried out and hard . This chef needs to leave how to cook big time . I am from Dundalk and I have to say this food you served was very poor .. that I had to bin it .
