13/04/2026: LOVE IT. Lovely menu of delicious and freshly prepared Chinese food. Staff very friendly and attentive. Plenty of free parking right outside the door. They gave me my leftovers in a box, and I enjoyed it next day Note: restaurant is on the first floor. I didn't see a lift but maybe phone first to find out.

12/03/2026: Ordered vegetable chow mein, a very basic dish to get right, it was watery and bland, not to mention it had no colour, like they didn't even use soy sauce. This is my second time trying this takeaway and I was just as disappointed, last time the dish was also watery, seemed like they didn't use proper ingredients and vegetables have just been unfrozen. Would not recommend.

26/02/2026: Went to konglam for a take away last night. The young lady behind the counter was so helpful and pleasant. I think her name was Kate. The food was amazing and I would highly recommend as the best Chinese in Birr

06/07/2026: Jasmine House is hands down one of the best takeaways and eat in places in Bray. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and full of flavour, with generous portions and excellent value for money. Every order has been prepared quickly and accurately, and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. Whether it's a quick midweek meal or a family treat, the quality never disappoints. Highly recommended to anyone looking for delicious food and fantastic service. I'll definitely be ordering again!

28/07/2026: We ordered food at 8:58. Called two hours later at 10:43 as it still wasn’t delivered was told it was only just out for delivery (2 hours after ordering). Still havnt gotten any food at 11:20 and they’re advertised as closed at 11:30.

09/06/2026: Very underwhelming. The waitress is awful, walking around chewing gum, and can't even look the customer in the eye or smile and no interaction. Food was average, I had pork with ginger and scallions, couldn't taste the ginger, and there was maybe half a scallion. The other meal was Thai chilli beef stir fry, which was basically in a sweet chilli sauce, not as we expected from the menu description. Sorry, but not a good experience, I would save my money and go elsewhere. Toilets are filthy 🤮

25/07/2026: Had a fantastic evening at Royal Garden. The restaurant is beautifully designed with elegant decor that really sets the tone the sophisticated interior, thoughtful styling, and atmospheric touches create an inviting atmosphere. But what impressed me most was how seamlessly the elegant setting paired with genuinely friendly and attentive staff who made us feel welcome throughout. The food itself is excellent. I'm familiar with quality Japanese and Chinese dining in Dublin, and honestly, Royal Garden holds its own against the best competition out there the flavours, presentation, and care put into each dish are top-notch. What really stood out was how everything came together: the pretty surroundings, the warmth of the team, and genuinely high-quality Cantonese cooking. It's the kind of place where you can tell they care about both the experience and the food. The staff are super friendly and professional, great evening, great food. Highly recommend!!!!

20/06/2026: Our main course dishes were nice and tasty, very generous in portion. Side rice, we're ok. My spring rolls were ok, little cool on the inside! Service was quick and polite. Basic interior, but functional.

13/06/2026: We recently dined at Emperor's House in Portlaoise and overall had a pleasant experience. The food was very good, arriving nice and hot, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. That said, we found the pricing quite high, particularly when you consider that all sides are charged separately. For example, BBQ ribs were €10.50, soup was €7, and a spring roll starter was €7.50. Two children's goujons and chips meals came to €24 in total. It's important to note that rice (€4.50), chips (€4.50), and noodles (€6.50) are all additional charges. Sauces were also extra, with curry sauce and honey sauce both costing €5 each. One of our daughters wanted something similar to a spice bag and was served salt and chilli chips (€7) plus salt and chilli chicken (€10.50), bringing the cost of that meal to €17.50 before any extras. Drinks were also on the expensive side, with Heineken Zero and Smirnoff Ice both priced at €5.95, a bottle of rosé at €27, and coffee at €3.90. Overall, I would rate the food 8/10 for quality and presentation. The food and service were very good, but the pricing structure, particularly the additional charges for sides and sauces, made the overall bill much higher than expected.

30/07/2026: Salt and chile wings, deep fat fried. Teasted of bad oil, no spice. Covered in soy sauce to cover bad quality. Prawns with ginger and spring onion. Ask for some broccoli, charged me €2 for 3 little bits. Charged €6 for a side of noodles Ask for heverlea beer, got a beer, def not heverlea, dont know what it was. Conclusion. Poor food, extremely expensive for what you get. Wouldn't recommend and wont be back.

23/08/2026: Got a take away for 3 and ordered 1/2 crispy duck for starter and 3 main courses, based on an old menu I had at home I calculated in and around 60 quid. I got a shock when I picked it up, it was 85 quid. When I looked at the new menu the crispy duck was 38 Euro!!! On the old menu it was 20Euro. 38 is just absolute extorsion for what I got. The duck wasn't crispy and not shredded but cut because it wasn't cooked to the point you could shred it. Main course were ok but all in all certainly not worth 85 quid. I don't think I go back there.

06/08/2026: Uninteresting, mass-produced food of poor quality. The quantity doesn't make up for it. One of our worst experiences in Ireland. Avoid it.

03/08/2026: Tasty food- starter aromatic duck my main of Szechuan was delicious, tiramisu left a little to be desired but all very well priced and staff were attentive and polite. I would recommend.

15/08/2026: I'm traveling from Italy, and this place was a pleasant surprise. We ordered takeout. The portions and quality of the food were truly excellent! The owner even gave us some (free) additions, which were much appreciated. If you're traveling or just passing through, this place is highly recommended.
