02/10/2025: The food is lovely, the chicken wings are delicious. The baked potato as a starter was good too but it would have been nice to get a whole potato not a half one.
Mains were Carne Asada and chicken tacos both very nice.

21/07/2025: They make great cakes, sandwiches and more. Yet if your going for a coffee you may be left there. Today while standing for that coffee you had 3 people serving a sandwich bar. Little recognition for those standing at the take away counter.

10/10/2025: The pizza was not horrible. It's more of a pub with food. Then a place to go for dinner. Not many food options, but the prices were great, staff was really nice. I would go back again for a pint.
18/09/2025: The man who runs the speed quiz on Thursday nights has the ability to smell around corners. Gazelle instinctively run at the sight of him. In addition to running quizzes, he delivers babies in the back of Taxi cabs, finds homes for wayward iguanas, and discovered the color violet. Overall, five stars

15/06/2025: I had high hopes for this place, but after witnessing what goes on behind closed doors, I can’t recommend it.
The lack of professionalism and questionable after-hours behaviour were deeply disappointing.
What’s worse, after leaving my honest opinion, I received an intimidating message. That says more about the place than any review could.
I was a regular customer. I expected decency, not fear.
Not sure if management is aware, but if they are, that alone should be a red flag.
Think twice before supporting this place.
14/06/2025: El fenix is possibly the best bar in cork city. Every single member of staff makes sure to make you feel welcomed. Savage music, beautiful pints, best spot in the city

02/10/2025: I had breakfast here today. The full breakfast is very good and the bread really nice and good value. Staff member stood behind me when asking for my order which was a bit odd as I didn’t know if she was speaking to me.
Toilets very clean.
21/05/2025: Really nice cafe-restaurant. I had the hash and chorizo. Very reasonable price and very tasty and filling. The place is busy and popular.
