25/02/2025: Great place that we discovered by chance with friends after school! The atmosphere was very enjoyable and live music was what I expected to find when coming to Ireland. A must come! I will definitely go again.

17/02/2025: Lovely traditional pub in Cork City. Very nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Great for a quiet drink. Pizzas can be ordered from Boxt pizza just up the street and eaten in the Abbey Tavern. Definitely worth a visit

31/03/2025: Went for a bite to eat on Friday the 28th of March, food was lovely and not only that but the service was excellent. Andrew I believe is his name, looked after us and he did not dissapoint. He provided service with a smile and even recommended the wings for starters which were savage. Thank you Andrew. Will definitely be coming back.

16/03/2025: Great coffee and wonderful fresh cakes. We've visited twice and both times enjoyed the coffee and edible delicacies. It is a bit tight on space but that makes it feel cosy. Really friendly staff!

03/01/2025: I order 2 beers, I go out to the smoking area, I order again and the owner tells me I guess it's because I can't come in with my pants😅, I honestly don't know what was wrong with him. Do what you want with your business, but if I can't come in, don't let me order 2 beers, totally ridiculous, when I'm leaving he tells me if he was out, I tell him it's okay, I'm leaving, I'm a gentleman I don't argue, it will be in pubs in Cork where I must say that in the rest they have treated me wonderfully, I am a generous customer and curiously my pants were correct😅

22/03/2025: I've eaten here 3 times now and it's the only decent Chinese restaurant in Cork currently, in my opinion. Authentic, friendly and very good value - the portions are generous and the flavours are very good. Ask for the Chinese menu. Also their Thai offerings are excellent, as well.

19/03/2025: Dined in last week and got a takeaway last night. Both times food was absolutely delicious, the meat was so tender and tasty. My new favourite Chinese restaurant in Cork.

24/03/2025: As a Guatemalan I’ve always loved the set up of the restaurant, the atmosphere and the friendly staff. The restaurant really has that Latin feel to it. 2 mains and a shared dessert were ordered, not long after the main was served there was a rush of people arriving so service a little slower for drinks but definitely forgivable. The 2 mains, FAJITAS de VERDURAS and the GRILLED SKIRT STEAK TAMPIQUEÑA (picture attached) were delicious and highly recommended. The Pineapple Cup to share for dessert was unfortunately a bit disappointing. Instead of watermelon there was cucumber, confirmed by vision, texture and smell. I’m pretty sure, instead of patron, there was chilli powder as there was, visually, a red powder which gathered more towards the bottom of the cup along that spicy sensation on the tongue which got more intense the more that was consumed as, like I said, the powder gathered more towards the bottom of the cup. There is as no alcoholic taste or vapour after taste of alcohol. The mango, pineapple and strawberries were delicious though but if customers are not going to get exactly what they ordered they should at the very least be notified along with the option of selecting another dessert or else the dish should be taken off the menu for the days service and an attempted cover up not attempted. Another dessert would have been ordered with absolutely no issue. I still highly recommend and will be returning but with senses on high alert for any more attempted cover ups.

23/03/2025: We booked a dome as we were a party of 8 and it was absolutely fantastic as we were all able to be involved in the one conversation as it can be hard when there as so many people. Cocktails were amazing he only thing we didn’t get as they were not on menu on the night was the ribs

24/03/2025: We had almost 30 family members from adults to young children for a birthday celebration lunch in the bar area and had a lovely time. The food was delicious, both Amanda & her staff were courteous, friendly and helpful throughout, and everyone was made to feel comfortable and relaxed.

20/03/2025: Lovely restaurant/bar. Very welcoming and food was really good. Disappointed when we were given the dessert menu and no one returned to take the order. would recommend highly for the food. Staff using there phones constantly doesn't send a good signal when waiting for food and drinks to arrive.

08/03/2025: I entered in here after running 2.5km or miles, not sure which as I don't run. I had the appetite of a man who ran 2.5km or miles, not sure which as I don't run. I ordered a mixed donner and chips meal. It hit the spot and I always remember hearing somewhere something about the last bite? The last bite in this establishment blew my mind. I don't know why, but the last bite of the meal I purchased upset me as to how good the meal was. The sauces on the plate, how it is served it perfect. I would highly recommend purchasing the meal I just spoke about. Fresh onion, fresh tomato, fresh lettuce and there was a pickled beetroot or slaw? Definitely try this place out if you are around Plunkett Street and hungry. The seating I found was perfect as a solo diner, I had a mirror in front of me to take in my surroundings and atmosphere as I enjoyed the meal and also ate upon a funky colored marble tabletop. 4 stars from me !

22/02/2025: Great naan bread, the food is fresh and consistently good. The staff are really nice and efficient. The portion is generous. The place is clean. This has been a great kebab every time I’ve been there.

09/01/2025: Food capers. Nice place to go for lunch. Great selection of Sandwiches and Rolls freshly prepared in front of you. Teas and Coffees are good here too. Great place to come alone or with Group or family or friends. Nice staff. Inside and outside seating. Good staff here. Can be busy around Lunchtime! Two restaurants one on Main Street Mallow! And the 2nd Cafe Restaurant is at the Primary Healthcare Centre Mallow! Nice friendly staff!
