21/07/2025: They make great cakes, sandwiches and more. Yet if your going for a coffee you may be left there. Today while standing for that coffee you had 3 people serving a sandwich bar. Little recognition for those standing at the take away counter.

08/07/2025: The worst tiramisu I have ever had. The layer didn't go well. I felt more like eating a dry tiramisu with not properly layered with cream. And the coffee powder sprinkling was so bad. They use the same base for both biscoff and tiramisu.
03/07/2025: Absolutely amazing! Huge portions at a very low price, full of flavour and protein. One sandwich can feed a starving man! Friendly staff and great service in French Tacos– truly impressed. 🌟

15/07/2025: Always have a good experience at Soma! Especially the location on well road, my favourite spot out of them all. Staff are so lovely they even remembered us from a few days before hand when my mom ordered a mango matcha latte🫣. Really good coffee it’s unlike anywhere else in cork one of a kind. I’ll be back soon

31/07/2025: Overpriced ( its everywhere in Ireland but this is jaw dropping), overcooked ( burnt bacon on the Eggs Benedict which could have been forgiven except next table also complained) and very slow service in that not all parties received their food at the same time. Wont be returning.
27/07/2025: Hashbrown was amazing, great choice for brunch.Delicious and fresh and pear musse was super add on that complete the dish.
I would have small negative reacted to beack pudding was too dried.
Fantastic people working there.

25/07/2025: We walked in and we were given a table. The menu on the website is older, prices are 20% higher. We waited for around 10 minutes to have our order taken, it was quite full. The food was not authentic Japanese , rice was not the proper one, the ramen soup did not have the strong taste and consistency of bone broth. The yakitori and the beef gyuniku were delicious. They serve free green tea, but it was lacking any flavour and the water is quite hard.
24/07/2025: Another delectable dining experience at Wabisabi. I'm no slavering weeb or mouth breathing hentai watcher but I have come to appreciate the asian flavours and excellent service.
The food is deceptively filling and flavourful. Although I have an expensive taste, it's very easy to waddle down the stairs nourished with less than 20 euros spent.
By the grace of God I did not discover plum wine in my youth or I would have grown up a raging drunkard; It is one of the only places in Cork that sells it by the glass and I cannot recommend it enough.
Everything else is a bonus. If you are passing by I highly recommend investigating this unique establishment.

15/08/2025: This was such a cute place to have coffee in the sun. Nice seating area outside to enjoy the hustle & bustle. Nice seating areas inside too. Staff friendly and cinnamon buns taste lovely.
09/08/2025: They do not have any respect for people trying to walk in the footpath outside the front door in the mornings . You have to walk out into the road taking your life in your hands

10/08/2025: I know you shouldn't seek out Italian food abroad, but... after days of fish & chips, burgers, stews, potatoes, and more burgers... we've been craving pizza. We discovered this little place by chance on the last night of our vacation. It's run by an Italian couple. We had a choice between pizza and pasta, but we opted for pizza. It turned out to be an excellent choice! Crispy, light, and easy to digest. For dessert, we couldn't miss out on a delicious tiramisu. Prices aren't comparable to ours, but definitely in line with what you spend around here. Congratulations guys, it was truly a pleasure!!
13/07/2025: Takeaway pizza very dissappointing. Very wet base, very little topping. It was like there was not enough ingredients left after the day. Such a shame as was trying to support local.

16/07/2025: Have ordered takeaway from this restaurant several times and the food is good but very long wait times for delivery. The last time we ordered delivery they rejected the order for us being too far away (we lived 2.2km away and have successfully ordered delivery from them many times), when I rung the restaurant to query this, they said they can never deliver to us again since we are “too far” then when I said they had multiple times the person on the phone just stopped replying.
