12/10/2025: Beautiful Cafe with a lovely cosy interior and atmosphere,theres also a Charity Shop next door with some lovely items available and reasonably priced....both the Cafe and Charity Shop support Down Syndrome which is fantastic to support

05/11/2025: Ordered a coffee and a sausage roll, but after waiting 25 minutes, I still hadn't gotten the sausage roll. I then had to join the very slow moving queue to reorder the item which I had already paid for. When I finally reached the top of the queue, I was met with attitude from the person behind the counter, and was offered no apology. I then had a lukewarm microwaved sausage roll and a cold coffee for which I paid over €8.

05/11/2025: Excellent coffee with beans from all over the world, from Ethiopia to Colombia. If you're looking for a great speciality coffee, this is the place for you. If you want to have a coffee, read a good book or write, this is also a great place. A coffee shop for everyone in Cork.

06/12/2025: I had a really good time. The person who served us was extremely friendly, wearing a cute pink Hello Kitty sweater, and was really helpful with figuring out how to get to the airport. The place is well-decorated and spacious, with lovely fabrics on the sofas and chairs.

28/03/2026: Five stars isn't enough!!! I'm Italian. I was passing through Cork and happened upon Marcello's. I felt at home!!! A true piece of Italy in Ireland. Delicious pizza, welcoming place, relaxing atmosphere, even finding parking was easy. The quality of the ingredients is truly excellent, and the pizza dough is exceptional! The owner, Marcello, is a very kind person. If you're looking for a traditional Italian pizza, you're definitely in the right place!!! A word of Italian.

22/03/2026: Found this place on a Google search while looking for somewhere nearby to take my Italian partner for a meal. She places a high importance on high quality, fresh, homemade style Italian cooking. It's safe to say that Marcello's did not disappoint. From the extensive vegetarian/vegan options to the comfortable and friendly setting, they couldn't have done better. The cannelloni and ravioli were fantastic, the tomato soup was fantastic and flavourful and the tiramisu was some of the best we've ever had. Could not possibly recommend enough.

05/04/2026: I would give less stars if I could. The place has massive potential and an even greater reputation. The reputation is completely unjust. Everybody knows the name but I don’t think they are aware of the complete ignorance that the staff possess at Tom Barry’s. My experience is one reciprocated by another couple of other people I’m aware of that have experienced a TERRIBLE service from the staff here. My friends and I came in to get a pizza and a pint and tried to sit at a table that had a reservation unknown to us. The manager was completely cantankerous and ignorant. The guy’s ego is out of whack. But that isn’t it, a friend of mine on a separate night was finishing her drink and trying to leave promptly and it was rudely interrupted by the girl behind the bar who harassed her until her and her friends left. I mean, it’s nice but is it worth getting bad treatment from people you are paying? Probably not? Go across to Mr Bradley’s and get La Tana 👍

30/03/2026: I visited the place for a meet-up event and loved how cozy the place is, perfect for a quiet dinner but a bit loud when it's full. The pizza was perfect, with fresh ingredients and a delicious crust. The service was excellent, the waiters were very attentive at all times. Definitely a place to return to and recommend to friends.

14/03/2026: I went into there shop today with my boyfriend and I was laughed at for having a walking aid over and over again I need my walking aid because I am disabled and it was the staff that were laughing at me I should be treated like everyone else I am traumatized from this experience plz don't eat here and support the disability community

19/03/2026: Lovely. We enjoyed everything about the restaurant!! The food is amazing 5/5, they have variety of veg & non-veg cousin. The service, staff and atmosphere is beautiful. There was a table next to us celebrating a birthday but we were not forgotten about. We had a really nice chat with all staff,theybwere all lovely . I cannot wait to return & try the other cuisines. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

03/11/2025: 03/11/2025 at 14:15. Ordered a hot chocolate and a kinder mocha. Server barely even looked at us as she gave us the drinks, while continuing to chat to a coworker. Gave us the wrong drinks, wouldn’t have been as bad if she wasn’t so rude.

12/04/2026: Stayed for 2 nights. Spacious comfortable room and friendly staff. Good location. Nice to have water fountains for refills. Fixtures and fittings were modern and good but one star off as it could have been cleaner. Carpets in our room didn't seem to have been vacuumed very well before we checked in.

08/09/2025: Brilliant venue for a small gig It was my first time at this venue and it won't be my last. Monitors where you can't see the performers. Seating is limited so get in early if you're an old fella like me.€6.50 for a pint bottle of Bullmers is very fair for a City centre venue. The only thing I found strange was a plastic container with a glass bottle, But that's venue drinking for you. Definitely highly recommend 💯

30/08/2025: Good venue that gets a good selection/mix of bands. Just saw the lemonheads recently and have seen Mudhoney, Frank Turner, Bob Mould, Buzzco ks, Jello Biafra and many more over the years. Since a makeover the new sound system is much improved from when I first started going in the 90's.
