04/07/2025: The most disgusting smelling ladies toilets I’ve ever in my entire life have smelt!!! The place is absolutely filthy!! Never in a million years would I order food!! (Toilet smell has improved a lot, (03/07/) however it still smells rank!! Go invest in industrial cleaners to get it sorted and up to standard! )

04/07/2025: The staff has an insane attitude problem. Completely and inexcusably rude to my girlfriend and I.

10/04/2025: Best sandwich I have ever had... I ordered 21. The bread is so crispy the beef was salty... everything about that sadwhich is unreal

15/07/2025: The bar was quiet in the pm, nice bar at the entrance and good service, but the restrooms were dirty. We left after our beer.

16/05/2025: Really don’t know where so many 5 star reviews are coming from. Visited 14.05 evening. Waitress in glasses saw me entering the restaurant and completely ignored me until I went up to the bar area to “let my presence known”. Ordered grilled salmon (€25) that was all dry and white wine sauce hard seen. In terms of ambience it’s average at best.

03/07/2025: Beautiful restaurant and welcoming staff. The food was delicious and served quickly. The potato and leek soup was amazing, it came with homemade Guinness soda bread which was unreal. The salmon was cooked beautifully and the ratatouille and potato wedges were flavorful. The steak sandwich plate was loaded with chips and a refreshing salad/coleslaw combo. The only downside was they were playing dance/club music which didn’t quite fit with the atmosphere and was quite loud. Highly recommend stopping in for lunch if you wouldn’t mind the music!

22/06/2025: We hosted a bachelorette party at this restaurant and it couldn’t have gone better! The staff went above and beyond to make everything perfect — the food was absolutely amazing. The service was warm and professional. Huge thanks to the whole team (and a special shoutout to the person who made that incredible cake!). All the guests had a fantastic time. Whether you’re planning a special event or just looking for a great spot for a casual lunch or dinner, this place is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!

29/06/2025: Got the Transylvania Burger and it was lovely. Kind of like a garlic bread burger and quite oily from the garlic butter but I was fine with that since I ate it at home but have lots of napkins if not at home. I put some of the basil-parmesan mayo that I got with my Chip Butty on it and it worked very nicely as well. Chip Butty was lovely as well with the sauce and some salt. Battered sausage was pretty good as well. Queue was long but moved pretty fast.

30/06/2025: The bar with the best atmosphere I have encountered so far in Ireland🇮🇪! The bartender can make drinks and coffee, and the service is very good! Can chat and share drinks🍸 Very good! Gave a tip! I don’t know the taste of the food because I didn’t order it, but I highly recommend cocktails!

01/07/2025: Ordered food for take away today, 01.07.2025, asked for Oreo cake, but when we already gone I realised they gave wrong thing and also expired date on it. It’s disrespectful, nobody didn’t even give to us receipt. I am disappointed.

25/05/2025: Arrived in for a drink after dinner on Saturday in Cornstore (highly recommend). Had a pint of Guinness each and sat at the end of the bar. At 12.29 we asked for a final pint. Young barman told us the bar was closed. We were a bit shocked but took it on the chin. 5 or 6 mins later, 4 people walked in and ordered a drink. The barman served them. We asked why they were served and not us, to which he responded 'they have just come from a restaurant across the road'. We said we had just come from the same, to which we were told 'I don't need to explain myself to you'. Tbh, felt discriminated against because we didn't have a local accent. Will not go here again unfortunately. Will not recommend.

22/05/2025: Stopped by Soma 2 after dropping off clients in Cork, a real gem of a spot! As a professional chauffeur with Titanium Life Chauffeurs, I’m always on the lookout for places that are quick, comfortable, and serve quality food — this one checks all the boxes. Had their ham & cheese toastie and a cappuccino, both were excellent. The toastie was perfectly crisp and the coffee had that rich, smooth finish with great latte art. Also tried a slice of red velvet cake — soft, fresh, and delicious. The place is bright, clean, and welcoming, with plenty of parking in the back, which is a big bonus when you’re in a hurry. Staff were super friendly and service was fast — ideal for a quick lunch stop while on the road. Highly recommend it to fellow drivers, locals, and anyone passing through Cork! 📸 (Photo attached – says it all.)

09/01/2025: Best breakfast always. Everything is freshly cooked and nicely presented. Service is always excellent and friendly. Outside sunny seating when weather permits.

21/06/2025: One of the best restaurants in cork. I have been here many times since it opened and the service and food quality never disappoint.

20/06/2025: Delicious. It's a shame we have to go back to Spain, otherwise we'd eat here often. The pork melts in your mouth, and the ramen broth is so flavorful.
